I literally keep thinking about the possibilities if money didn't exist or was illegal. It would be so nice 💚💚💚
Imagine if we all collectively wake up tomorrow and stop using money for anything. Like baristas still making coffees without charge and bus drivers refusing to accept payments and stores just let ppl take groceries. Ppl just continuing their lives without imaginary numbers being involved, enjoying movies and helping each other garden and running Libraries.
And to watch the billionaires running around throwing temper tantrums over it be the funniest thing in the world I can't wait 💕💕💕

the stark reality is that if they announced there was 24 hours before a giant comet hit the earth, i would find reason to fight and advocate and celebrate in the ensuing chaos up to the final seconds.
punk is walking into every situation and punching it in the mouth regardless of how big it is or the dominion it holds over your existence.
punk is hope and growth and love and fury and anger and passion and spit in the face of hostile forces.
punk is community and mutual aid and soup kitchens and block parties and festivals and little libraries and clothes drop boxes.
punk is dancing on the deck of a sinking ship because hey you motherfuckers i didn’t hear the music stop.
punk is having the hope for something better on behalf of those who can’t see it right now.

Profit is the passive income skimmed off the top by a capitalist, by using the power of their ownership to direct money. If workers own the producion and make money from it and keep it, that's just their income.
I fucking hate this "capitalism is when you make money, the more money you make, the more capitalism it is" mindset people have gotten. No, an artist selling their own work is not them engaging in capitalism, it's literally a worker owning their own means of production.
Remember capitalism is someone profiting off of someone else's labor though owning capital. It is not simply the act of profiting at all.
We're so used to doing things easier. Everything around us tells us to find an easier, better, way of doing stuff. Anything really from our job to everyday stuff. "Simpel better" (more money actuall but its really not. Not always. I dont want things to be easy always it doesn't give me anything in the end.
What is simple is sitting in front of the tv all day not doing anything and that is not better is it? It's not life. Being alive is hard creating is hard (oh so hard) and its worth it its worth the challange and change most of the time. Chang is hard and it always will be but without it we wouldn't be living
If capitalism is so bad, what would you replace it with? I realize that sounds accusatory, but I'm just curious. What would you improve on?
well, we’re anarchists, so we’d replace with capitalism with anarchism.
by definition there is no one proscriptive answer to what an anarchist society would look like. but there’s certainly no dearth of answers either. what we know is that capitalism and statism are irredeemably evil. we can’t stay here, and we can’t go backwards; our only option is to move forward.

Most anti capitalists agree that we should kill the billionaires. N’ while I do agree that they're terrible people, I don't think we gotta kill them.
We can do worse than that. Way, way worse than that.
Maybe a reality show. We put the billionaires on an isolated island, to survive for themselves. We record everything, and put it on television, & watch their humiliation for hours n' hours, all for our own entertainment.
I personally would love to see Elon Musk turn on his 30's to pick a simple piece of fruit and fail miserably just to end up with his ass full of ants afterwards in the middle of a forest.
Do the stuff you like.
Even if you start at zero, even if you *just know* it won't be good. Do it, at least, out of spite.
Be the star that burns out far too quick. Because in the end you were, at least for yourself, a shooting star.
Only those that have given up on themselves, diminishing their fire, their light, and are trying to be "realistic" are becoming black holes. Not only for themselves.
