Unironically this is the kind of what "radical" feminists (aka, feminists with patriarchal praxis) deserve. The "long thoughtful, carefully written" is just empty regurgitation of a long-dead form of feminism. They're completely captured by the powers of contemporary fascism and neoliberalism. The purpose of their movement is what it does: serve and support neoliberal patriarchy and 21st century fascism.

TERFs do not deserve respect. I do not expect respect from TERFs.

The internet censorship is coming..(again)

There are two well known censorship bill known as KOSA and the EarnIt act.

These bills both promised that they will protect children but unfortunately these are misguided bills that says they’ll do something but then they will do the opposite or make things worse.

Both of these bills are serious threat to the LGBT community and will censor a lot of content especially there

the EarnItact will also get rid of NSFW content and deem it as illegal, and will also get rid of section 230

The KOSA act will let attorneys from Florida and Texas take control and decide what people could and could not watch and sue websites and anything they don’t like and will not protect children but mostly put many vulnerable teens and children at risk while going as far as to even censor important information like sex education, health issues, suicide prevention hotlines and many more

We have stopped these bills from passing before but the cofounder Richard Bluemenhal is clearly not giving up and trying hard and hard again to push these bills back on congress

Last year more than 90/100 human rights groups urged lawmakers and congress to not pass KOSA in the omnibus bill and it got shelved and the same then happened to Earn it last year on February/March

But now he is trying a third time, using and manipulating grieving parents and young people into supporting and lobbying his bills, whiles even accepting anti trans and LGBT groups into supporting his legislations. He’s trying to find any type of scandal a platform is currently facing and turn and twist it on behalf of his agendas.

He says he supports abortions and the LGBT community but his bills will censor those things he claims to support. He can’t have it both ways.

But he was stubborn enough to ignore every criticism and scrutiny he gets about the legislations, being childish and all.

Not to mention that they are also both privacy nightmares to everyone and globally too

That’s why it’s important that you call and email your representatives and lawmakers and urge them to drop Kosa and the earn it act

Let any human rights group you trust knows and tell anyone you trust about it weather it be a friend or family member.

(Update # 2)

Hey guys I’m back to warn everyone about yet again another bad internet bill it’s called the safe tech act

This act is supported by 7 democratic senators including bluemenhal which is never a good sign with him when it comes to internet bills.

This is a misguided 230 reform and when reading it, all it shows is that these people have no understanding of 230 whatsoever.

It’s just another dangerous censorship bill that threatens everyone’s free speech. The creators claim that it’s won’t hurt free speech but it actually does and they do not understand how important 230 is in its current form right now!

Here is a good article explaining the safe tech act really well and why it’s dangerous :

The SAFE TECH Act is anything but safe
Reason.com
The SAFE TECH Act is a dangerous bill that would have far-reaching consequences for content creators, activists, and basically anyone who us

Also talk to your representatives about this and why it’s bad and if you can, try to explain to them about why section 230 is important. Support digital advocacy, human rights and any other groups that supports free internet and expression and let them know about these legislators and their bad ideas!

Update 3

The EarnIt act is sadly coming back after failing two times, now they are trying a 3rd time.

This legislation is dangerous for privacy and free expression and speech. It will bring lots of surveillance and is just as bad as the restrict act.

Some politicians never learn. Congress has been trying to shove through the EARN IT Act for the past two sessions, and thankfully it’s faile

The second one is called KOSA (KidsOnlineSafteyAct),

now this bill has failed to pass last year because a lot of opposition from 90/100 human rights.

It claims it’s would protect kids but it’s actually has a lot of censorship and is very dangerous to lgbt/trans kids and many other kids that are in abusive households. It will actually hurt them instead of protecting them.

If that’s not bad enough it’s tragically gaining momentum and attraction by these child advocacy groups and being sponsored by Dove and Lizzo. And there has been petitions in supporting this unconstitutional bill, One of them having somewhere around 30k signs…

I really wish I could say I’m joking but this is sadly true.

Papst empfängt Korridor-Geflüchtete im Vatikan

18.03.2023

Papst Empfngt Korridor-Geflchtete Im Vatikan

What does the picture tell us or what does it want to tell us?

Incidentally, the cool-looking fighter all in black alone against a system is somehow already a romantic narrative in which you like yourself. A transfiguration of good versus evil without shades of grey, but unfortunately the world is not good or evil in many shades.

The black bloc is anarchy is it, does not belong to the youth the anarchy just to destroy any symbols that symbolise capitalism.

The romance of the street fight and then the athletic, the hormonal extasy that makes the hunt or rather the cat and mouse game with the executive even better.

Is it perhaps just to escape from his conformist everyday life or really the expression of a philosophy!

What does the black block look like in private, does he live what he strives for?

Or are they just wealthy people who like to riot and loot the shops of people who work hard to survive in the kind of capitalism they have so favoured?

In reality, anarchy is mostly a disappointment everything is so self-organising, beautiful from the smallest to the largest. How explains it to everyone and shows how you can realise it and live in it.

But if that's not your ambition, it's probably not worth living it.

The French Revolution failed because some wanted to decide everything, not with the commune that organises itself.

It was about eliminating the classes in the sense of killing them on the scaffold and taking their position.

mod

Whoever shows us how to live with an entire society should have a plan to convince us. Throwing stones and setting cars on fire is anything but anarchism.

Anarchy (ancient Greek ἀναρχία anarchía "rulelessness", from ἀρχία archía "rule" with negating alpha privativum) refers to a state of absence of rule. It is mainly used in political philosophy, where anarchism advocates such a social order.

Anarchists want society to regulate itself, for example through councils, free agreement or purely functional decisions, in the words of Pierre-Joseph Proudhon: "Anarchy is order without domination." A central figure of modern anarchism in German-speaking countries, Horst Stowasser, also referred to Proudhon's programmatic definition.

Anarchy is also commonly associated with a state of social disorder, tyranny and lawlessness caused by the absence of the state and institutionalised violence, and is often used in many media outlets to distort the actual meaning of the term "chaos and anarchy". However, the actual term for such a state is anomie.

Wikipedia more or less

Show us an old anarchist who has not been eaten by the system and has renounced an easy life, then the dream is alive.

Which is really not surprising. You have to imagine that most of the men and women who fought against Nazi violence in the Second World War were rather conservative.

Antifascism has no idiotic background but only the realisation that this ideology is absolutely hateful and deeply inhuman.

The new fascist movements worldwide don't wear doc martens and are no longer skinheads, the wolf has eaten chalk and now wears a suit and costume. Only the slogans are the same, there are always some enemies of the people who are to blame for everything and anything.

The only thing that has really changed is that the fascists today no longer act as perpetrators but always slip into the role of victims, which makes them even more pathetic than they already are.

mod

Their wretchedness goes so far that they even take money from their arch-enemy the Russians or the Chinese to further the social division in the democracies.

They are therefore also traitors to their country in the truest sense of the word.

To put it in their jargon pests of the people.

The irony is that in the world they want, they would have to shoot themselves for high treason.

mod

Here are a few historical pictures of antifa during the liberation from the fascist master race.

Which Is Really Not Surprising. You Have To Imagine That Most Of The Men And Women Who Fought Against

Resist the beginnings because the only way to win is to tell the better story. So tell of the successes of democracy and its benefits for us all.

mod

This is the way to counter the lies and propaganda.

As active members of democracy, it is currently the only guarantor of freedom for all on the basis of equality. Even if democracies are cumbersome in their decision-making processes and make mistakes. In dictatorships there are no mistakes and no freedom - that should be clear to everyone. Be a part of a democracy by actively participating in it.

Capitalism has shown for 150 years that it is not the solution, but only a few parameters need to be changed in the right direction to create a better path for the future.

At the moment there is no social utopia as there once was, because all the social utopias of the past have only resulted in injustice, so a new social utopia must be conceived.

After all, the old ones ultimately proved to be of little use and were always to the detriment of many people and to the benefit of some.

It's not wrong to not need to be "saved" or "chosen" by a god.

You don't need a god to follow good morals.

And you don't need a god in order to live a good life.

Humans evolved to thrive when they have good connections with:

1.) Themselves (i.e., they come to know and understand and accept themselves as human beings);

2.) Their Environment (i.e., they spend time in, and, if they so choose, nurture and do a bit of tending in the natural landscape that they call home); and,

3.) Their Community (i.e., maintain authentic, mutually-consensual, and close ties to family, friends, and/or other members of their community: building and becoming part of the interconnected support networks that help their communities to function and thrive).

We have sentience apart from these foundational human wants and needs; so we get to choose to pursue skills, crafts, fields of knowledge; and personal or communal goals that appeal to us and that make us happy...but aside from choosing that purpose voluntarily for ourselves, what is wrong with just living a good life and loving and caring for and helping the people and the lands around you in whatever little ways you like?

Why is that not enough?

Does everyone really have to have an overblown 'Chosen One' complex in order to be worth anything?

Because all those little ways of being can add up to something immensely beautiful and satisfying... provided, of course, that the current systems in which we live aren't actively preventing, undoing, and sabotaging our connections to them.

Internalized Fascism

Seriously.

If you want to know the shape of the fascist cage that media has constructed inside our minds, our parents' minds, and our grandparents' minds over the years?

Read that awful "Screenwriter's Guide for Americans" slop that Ayn Rand wrote.

And then, if you're a creator?

Go forth, and do your damnedest to make works that depict and stand for the OPPOSITE.

I actually wound up liking "The Woman King" as a movie way, WAY better than 300.

It is beautiful cinematically, it touches on some things and addresses some things that are good…

But please don't get it twisted, because that was NOT a historical movie. ^^;;; We know that.

The sunrises were beautiful, but I do not perceive it as a society that I wish to return to.

Because it does envision a world in which most of the hierarchies that plague us now, are still in place.

If you pay attention to the beginning, they're pretty adamant about showing this.

A lot of what is depicted seems like an attempt to say, "Look! This society in Africa was just as good as white people's, because, see: we had money, and patriarchy, and rich people, and kings, and war, too! That's what makes a civilization!"

For me, that whole attempt misses the plot on what it means to be a human.

There's a fundamental thing that I think that we miss when folks say, "Well, but look: white people are right, because they have all the money and all the power. They're "winning"!"

…Sure, that's winning….

If you enjoy being hated by your kids and having to down twelve Zoloft and two bottles of wine and step on the necks of fifty different people before breakfast, just to be able to stand being yourself for five fucking minutes… :/

Let's not pretend that these "winning" rich people and monarchs and oligarchs have healthy relationships with themselves, much less their families, much less anyone else.

The image of happiness that they project is often just that: a very carefully (and desperately) maintained IMAGE.

Even more basic than that: It's winning if you're a virus.

If you are an unselfaware gorilla, who lives in a troupe rather than a society, and your only idea of a "good" life is about domination and control. About who can you manipulate, who can you threaten, who can you hit over the head with a stick and gain power, for the sole purpose of just having power.

That is an ape troupe's idea of winning.

The kind of "winning" where scientists start to study you to try and figure out what's wrong with you.

We are apes, and descended from apes -- but we're not in an ape troupe...or really, we're not supposed to be.

We are HUMANS.

Humans are a KIND of ape, but we became different for a reason.

The fossil record shows a point, hundreds of thousands of years back in history, where the strongest apes -- the ones who were using violence and strength and threats to control and lord it over the other members of their community -- started dropping like flies.

Because one of the weaker apes had invented the blow gun.

And one of the other weaker apes knew how to make poison.

And all the other weaker apes agreed, "yeah, you know what, this guy is a fucking asshole, he needs to go!"

This happened multiple times across the populations of our ape ancestors, at roughly the same time frame in human evolution.

…And afterwards?

After our ancestors ended these strongest apes?

That's when our ape ancestors began to evolve at an EXPONENTIAL rate.

That's when we started to live by collaboration, consent, community, and trying to continually make conditions better for each other; instead of constantly trying to hoard and compete and get over on one another…that's when we started to have each other's backs on the regular.

After our ape ancestors sent their tyrants into the dirt; THAT'S when you start to see extremely complex language and tool-making and art and architecture EXPLODE across human culture: opening up all kinds of different options for life and for living.

All the things that make us FULLY human -- not just apes -- all these things resulted from us looking at nature's 'Might Makes Right', 'Red in Tooth and Claw', types of "winning", and saying to each other, "I'M SO SICK OF THIS SHIT!"

Nature is beautiful, yes. It birthed us. We need to cohabit with it sustainably and respectfully in order to live.

Yet, becoming human was an ancestral act of REVOLUTION.

It is relatively only very, very recently in the span of human existence when folk whose only loyalty is to capitalism and the made-up concept of whiteness, have swept across the world and RE-reframed the concept of "winning" according to fucking ape-brained bullshit that humanity had gotten rid of LONG ago.

They're doing it in ways that hurt not just everyone else, but themselves, too.

They are literally murdering the global ecosystem to do it.

And it disturbs me how many people have accepted that return to an absolute trash concept of "winning", instead of seeing it for what it is: NOT "the way humans just are"; but a regression, back into semi-conscious and ultimately suicidal ape-troupe mentality.

Empire, imperialism, colonialism, capitalism…these structures CANNOT survive anywhere where almost any kind of relationship thrives.

You cannot have an authentic self.

You have a pre-approved self PRESCRIBED to you, and any attempt to deviate from the "self" that you are assigned is continuously policed and punished.

Your connection to the land is continuously denied and sabotaged -- precisely so that people can't survive and take care of themselves via collaborative subsistence.

Every oppressor and abuser demands that you be dependent on them, so that they can continue to oppress and abuse you. And, even if they sweetly insist that they will allow you to have some freedoms; they will simultaneously make sure to sabotage and gaslight you until you're in a position where you can't care for yourself anyway: a process that infantilizes and enslaves human beings into the structure of unequal power that they crave.

Your connection to others is constantly policed.

We see how various media outlets and social media platforms attempt to control conversations, muddy narratives, use algorithms to funnel people into more right-leaning content; and, even force people to change the terminologies they use; to absurd effect (unalive, grape, etc).

We see in the pages of Project 2025 how desperate the old guard of western hierarchy are, to regain full control of people's connections to each other, by denying people any options about how they live, with whom, to what end, and under what circumstances.

Reminder:

If bigots really were "naturally superior", then they wouldn't have to oppress anyone.

It's a shame that their beliefs -- that, "only those who are 'superior' should be able to live and thrive" -- drive them to then have to try to be in a superior position at all times….in order to stroke their own egos, and to soothe the deep insecurities that they themselves have made insurmountable and untenable, by endlessly pursuing vectors of pointless domination in the hopes that they can convince everyone to let them hoard the plentiful resources which they refuse to peacefully share.

The world would be so much better if everyone was allowed to just live, and be who they are, and be allowed to be comfortable with each other; without breaking their bodies and minds and spirits to "earn" the birthright of existence and thriving which the Earth simply offers us for free.

The human species survived first nature due to two factors:

• Adaptation.

Meaning that, the more diverse we are, and the more types of people who are around to help handle issues and crisis', the BETTER the species becomes, and,

• Collaboration.

Meaning that, the less that we compete, and the more that we pool our skills, abilities, passions, ideas, and empathy towards mutual benefits; the BETTER our societies become.

Capitalism, instead, seeks always to narrow diversity down to what features and abilities will make the most money and procure the most power and influence for the tiny owning class who oppress us.

It seeks to ever increase competition, so as to better control people.

It seeks to ever increase scarcity and precarity, so as to better manipulate people.

And it seeks to ever decrease our adaptability, so as to make us easier to dominate ("govern").

As such, Capitalism goes against the very spirit of Humanity; and runs contrary to everything humans have evolved to be and to do.

There's something we've been conditioned to do over the past handful of centuries in the face of right-leaning powers (as well as in the face of abusers and oppressors in general), it's like... a FAWN response.

It's 'appease them'. 'Debate them'.

Sink more of your energy into their narrative.

Lick their boots.

We're conditioned that way because there are so many examples across capitalist societies that show us who our "leaders" favor...and who they DON'T:

~ Women and children who are jailed for fighting back against incidents of DV/SA... (sometimes, even just surviving an abuser and getting away from them is dangerous, lest the courts name you an accomplice in your abuser's crimes while you were still with them).

~ Protestors in the streets who are seeking justice who get beaten and arrested, while nazis in the streets get handshakes from police.

~ Try to protect the Atlanta forest, block a pipeline, protect the Earth, and you get shot. Evict people in droves, and you're just fine.

~ Help the homeless, and you're arrested (like those 'Food Not Bombs' people who they tried to charge $500 for feeding the hungry).

All across our society, power is set up to benefit and support the *worst* of humanity.

The statistics bear it out when we note that our institutions help abusers and oppressive entities both big and small to maintain power, control, and influence, rather than focusing on genuinely helping and allying with the victims that this system is designed to crush.
