Another thing, that is for us, younger aces, is that people won't believe us. How can you know you don't want sex, you're so young! I guess It's pretty similar to It's just a phase or Have you ever tried it?

The “A” in LGBTQIA does not stand for ally but asexual and aromantic as well as agender
Asexuality is on a spectrum so depending where someone falls or how they identify, they may or may not experience intimate attraction
Asexuals are not broken
Asexuals aren’t “cishets trying to evade LGBTQ+ spaces”
Asexual and aromanticism shouldn’t be used synonymously. They have similar principals but different meanings. Both primarily deal with experiencing little to no attraction
Not all asexuals are virgins and that doesn’t make them any less asexual because of it
Asexuality is real and valid
Just because aphobia infrequently escalates to violence doesn’t mean it’s nonexistent
Corrective assault isn’t limited to just bi and gay men/lesbians
A few pro tips while I’m at it:
Using virginity as an insult to asexuals is like using heterosexuality to insult a straight person, you sound stupid
If at one point you believed to be asexual but later discovered you weren’t that’s okay, but using that experience to invalidate others isn’t
Spitefully sending nsfw to people who identify as ace, especially MINORS (and yes this has happened before) is disgusting. Seek help.

Many People Dont know what Asexuality And Aromantism really are, and how far streched the Aspec is.
Asexuality is a lack of sexual desire.
This user clearly doesn't understand that dressing sexily is not an invitation to anyone. This gives off so entiteled and disgusting vibes.
Please educate yourself about The large and diverse Aspectrum.
The Aro & Ace Community is very focused on different types of attraction and releationships that apply to non aspec people just as much, but haven't been talked about a lot becourse romantic and sexual attraction are mostly in focus.
(Sometimes i feel like Aspec people know way more about sexual attraction than Allos, and this knowledge really should be shared. For everyone who feels not to comfortable with their label, or is unsure how to react to post talking about trans folk in queer releationships, visiting the Aspec Community might be helpful.

Thats why interacting with the aspec community is helpful even for alloromantic/sexual people.
(Also: Asexuals hating/ enjoying/ not minding sexual intercourse with people they are not attracted to! Shock!)

I just think it's crazy that we argue over who get's to claim which label, basically trying to categorize other peoples (mostly some strangers!) emotions & feelings and asking if they are reeeeaaaalllyyyy shure weather they belong into that specific box or not.
Like. Having not heterosexual feelings and/or not heteroromantoc feelings and/or not feeling cis. is Enough! to be queer and queer = valid. Every kind.
Strangers don't have to accept that for it to be true. Peoples feelings are more complicated and individual than labels.
If a man who calls himself gay has slept with women before, and woudn't mind doing it again, why are we fighting over maybe calling him pan or bi.
Like, we don't know what being gay means for him. Mostly Sexual & Romantic Attraction, maybe. But some people can in fact sleep with people they are not attracted to (sex positive / neutral asexuals ase best example. They can still enjoy sex.)
History has records of man presumed to be gay having children! -.- Not all of them have been bi or pan, some sure but not all.
Some people in Queer Platonic Releationships Sleep with each other.
Some friends do so to.
There are many reasons to have sex. Not all are Sexual attraction.
(Please remember, Sexual Attraction is not equal to one persons willingniss to participate in such actions)
(This also doesn't mean that anyone has to sleep with a person they don't want to sleep with. Ever.)
(Not every person may not mind sleeping with a person not of their prefered gender. (Sex negative asexuals, as example.
But please, internet, consider people being people who are full of history, emotions and values, and their reasons for doing what they do are diverse and most importantly NONE OF OUR BUISNESS, no matter how entiteled to their whole life's story we feel becourse they share the same rainbow flag in their bio.
So please, shut the fuck up, queer label police.
