There is no way I spent over an hour playing this Ice-Scream game and losing my mind! 🤯

I used to LOVE this game as a child. Maybe this is why I have anxiety as an adult. 😱

So, crossover moment. Let's say EPIC: The Musical (since so far its my favorite rendition of the Odyssey) is the accurate history for Percy Jackson. How do you think Poseidon feels about his son loosely following the trail of Odysseus? Specifically the Sea of Monsters. Polypuemus, and Circe's island, but Polyphemus specifically. Poseidon is furious with Odysseus for not killing his cyclops son. "Ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves." Poseidon targets Odysseus and kills his men because he blinded Polyphemus and left him disabled instead of "finishing the job" and killing him. Odysseus also made the mistake of revealing his name instead of letting him believe he was simply "Nobody" when he lefts the island of the cyclops.

Fast forward to Percy Jackson's dealing with Polyphemus, again the cyclops is being tormented by "Nobody" and is enraged. Obviously I'm leaving out a ton of details, but in the end Percy can't bring himself to kill another cyclops like this after the discovery of his beloved half-brother Tyson. Even with everything that transpires after Tyson throws the rock at Polyphemus that knocks him back into the chasm, they don't kill him. But, the key difference to Percy's story is that he's humble and he doesn't reveal his true name. He lets Polyphemus believe that he's truly drowned "Nobody", and he hopes that it stays that way.

So I guess my train of thought is how do we think Poesidon feels about this? That his (arguably favorite) son follows in the steps of Odysseus, a man that he tried to kill and was outwitted by, by not killing Polyphemus. Granted, the argument could be made that the whole difference between the two is Percy's humility, but at the end of the day he made the same choice as Odysseus. He allowed Polyphemus to live blinded. I just wonder if it makes Poseidon reflect at all, or if it makes him see the past in a new light as Percy's journey continues.

I don't know if this makes sense to anyone else but it's been stuck in my head ALL DAY and I needed to put it somewhere.

Sooo I had another brain rot with alot of people's theory of Eddie being the only one with a light in his bike. So when we find out that the upside down is stuck in the past, and when Robin points out that Nancy would have bikes if u think about it there really only should be 2 bikes uk for Mike and Nancy but there's 4 bikes instead since its the night will goes missing, Eddie is the one riding will's bike the only bike with a freaking light 😭😭. Sorta insinuating that Eddie was going to 'disappear' or die in the last episode, I hate that I'm realizing this now 💀💀

Till is definitely the St Bernard puppy with zero concept of his size

Schneider maybe some kind of spaniel with loads of energy or a schnauzer while he’s sporting the Tasche.

Ollie some kind of sheepdog maybe border collie, outdoorsy and will work and work in the background (with all of his bass lines steering the band) but with the quietest temperament.

Oh well I headcanon that Touya would have wanted a badass name like "Inferno" or something like that, but then he lost a bet with somebody or something and got stuck with "Match", as in matchstick. And then the name started growing on him until he feels it right.

I think I picture him better as an Underground verged on rescue and evacuation, because Decay can actually clear a neat path among debris and such. So maybe something like. Oh no. "Mothman". Because he works at night and he's a dork and I can 100% picture the League brainstorming names while drunk and somebody (Shuuichi) comes up with this because how could you not and then it became an inside joke of some sort because, well, moths have dust on their wings to fly, and Decay basically turns things to dust, so. But his actual hero name would be something more serious (I hope). Maybe he would go with his civilian name in honour of Nana

IWTV/Vampire Chronicles AUvember

I spent hours searching for November fanfic events because I didn’t want to participate in any word-count goal ones, but I didn’t find anything I could imagine myself doing. Then I asked myself: What is something that would challenge me as a fanfic writer, what is something I’ve never really done before? Answer: Experimenting with Alternative/Alternate Universes! Aside from the usual Canon Divergence. I mean stuff like Coffeeshop AUs, High-School AUs, etc. For a long time, I didn’t even read them.

So, for November, I’m leaving my comfort zone and will attempt to create IWTV/Vampire Chronicles AU fanfics! (Of course, I'm doing it for this fandom because this particular hyperfixation has taken over my brain). I wonder how this will work out because I included prompts I don’t even read – part of the challenge for me will be to find something of interest in settings that would usually bore me. And maybe other people want to try that too? If you're interested in joining, read this: - I don’t have the energy to turn this into a moderated event, but if you want to participate, feel free to use the tag #vcAUvember, so we can check each other’s works more easily! - Interpret the prompts however you want – do one, do all, do a oneshot per prompt, or multichapter fics with combined prompts, drabbles, drawings, etc. This challenge is about experimenting with something new and/or unfamiliar.
