David Thewlis - Tumblr Posts
i started watching sandman with zero knowledge of what the show was about. what the hell is remus lupin doing here
i don’t care if anyone ships wolfstar or not but i don’t know if anyone knows but david thewlis who plays remus lupin though his character was gonna be gay but found out that wasn’t the case and married tonks which to me is disappointing but if y’all want to still think remus is gay and ship wolfstar that’s fine dont ship them that’s fine but i do think that they should of happen then remus and tonks
I don’t get shipping Wolfstar. Look, Sirius spent 12 years alone in Azkaban and then he finally gets a chance to spend some time with his friend (actually the only one left, cause James is dead and Peter betrayed them). Also, Remus loved Tonks so much, since she joined the order so there was no way he and Sirius were a couple. And finally, I know Sirius weren’t interested in girls neither, but have you ever thought he could be ace? for me he has a huge ace vibe.
list of things that if u ask me about i will never ever shut up about bc they changed the trajectory of my life
1. frank castle and billy russo in the punisher
2. i, tonya
3. wolfstar
ok goodnight
Total Eclipse
Gosh they were so youngs

The dimly lit room buzzed with the low hum of conversation and clinking glasses, the air thick with the scent of cigars and expensive perfume. Freddie Mays with his impeccably tailored suit catching the subtle glint of the low lights, surveyed the room with his usual air of unassailable authority. His eyes, sharp and calculating, missed nothing. But tonight, something—someone—had managed to slip past his usual defenses.
You had been talking with a few acquaintances in the corner, your laughter a warm, melodic contrast to the cool detachment of the surroundings. Freddie had watched you from across the room, a faint frown on his lips. It was more than your beauty that drew him in; it was the way you seemed to navigate the room with effortless grace, making connections with an ease he envied.
He made his way over to you, his movements smooth and deliberate. The crowd seemed to part for him, as if the very atmosphere recognized his presence. When he reached you, he leaned in slightly, his voice a low, gravelly murmur that carried an edge of both command and intrigue.
"Mind if I join you?" he asked, his tone betraying a hint of vulnerability that was rare for him. There was no pretense, no forced charm—just the raw, unfiltered curiosity of a man who was used to getting what he wanted.
You looked up at him, meeting his gaze with a blend of surprise and curiosity. "Ah, Mr. Mays, isn't it? I’ve heard quite a bit about you." you smirked as you took a sip on your exquisite rose wine.
A half-smile tugged at the corner of his mouth. "Oh, have you? I do hope it was nothing too unflattering."
You laughed softly, the sound like a melody he found strangely captivating. "Depends on your perspective. But I’m sure there’s more to you than the stories suggest."
Freddie’s eyes locked onto yours, a flicker of something he didn’t quite recognize in his own expression. "And what would you say if I told you there’s a lot more? That there’s something I can’t quite put into words, something that goes beyond the usual game of power and control?"
There was an intensity in his gaze, a raw honesty that belied his hardened exterior. For a moment, the formidable gangster seemed almost vulnerable, and it was as if he was laying bare a part of himself he rarely showed.
"You’ve got my attention," you said, placing your wine down, your voice steady and inviting. "What is it that you’re trying to say?"
Freddie took a breath, the weight of his next words hanging heavily in the air. "I’m not one for grand gestures or flowery words. But you’ve managed to do something no one else has. You’ve got me thinking about things I’ve long buried—things like... wanting something real."
His confession was raw and unadorned, a rare glimpse into the man behind the ruthless façade. The moment stretched between you, charged with a tension that was both electrifying and palpable.
You reached out, your fingers brushing against his hand, the touch a silent acknowledgment of the connection that had sparked between you. "Well, Mr. Mays, if you’re offering something real, I’m willing to see where it leads."
A genuine smile broke across Freddie’s face, a rare and almost boyish expression that transformed his entire demeanor. "Please, call me Freddie." he said with a warm but cautious smile. "Then let’s see where it goes. After all, I’m always up for a bit of unpredictability."
As you both shared a look that promised new beginnings and uncharted territory, the world outside seemed to fade into the background. In that private club, amidst the shadows and whispers, Freddie Mays found himself on the cusp of something he had never truly expected—something that just might be worth more than all the power and control he had ever sought.
Currently writing another Freddie Mays :3 (David Thewlis)

London Alleyway: Midnight
The alley was a shadowy maze, filled with the echoing clatter of gunfire and the acrid stench of gunpowder. Freddie Mays, his tailored suit now smeared with grime, ducked behind a rusted dumpster, heart racing. The conflict was fierce, a brutal gang war between his faction and Lennie Taylor’s crew. The sound of bullets whizzing past him was punctuated by the sharp yells and curses of men fighting for dominance.
Freddie’s mind raced as he tried to plot their escape. The odds were stacked against them. He had underestimated Taylor’s resolve and was now paying the price. A sudden burst of fire from a nearby rooftop drew his attention, and for a moment, he saw a new faction swoop in—a third party with unknown allegiance, their leader shrouded in darkness and mystery.
The alley erupted into chaos as this new group made their presence known. Freddie barely had time to react when he felt a sudden rush of adrenaline and the sharp pain of a bullet graze his side. He stumbled, the world around him becoming a blur. He caught a glimpse of a figure emerging from the chaos—an assertive woman commanding her men with precision and authority.
In the midst of the gunfire, the anonymous leader’s sharp eyes locked onto Freddie. With a commanding gesture, she ordered her men to secure the area. Her voice cut through the din like a knife. "Get him out of here! To the hospital, now!"
Her men moved with practiced efficiency, lifting Freddie and transporting him out of the alley, his vision fading in and out as he caught fragmented images of the leader’s intense gaze. She had y/c eyes, gorgeous even at this clouded night. Through the haze, he could see the hospital's stark lights and the brief, fleeting comfort of anonymity.
In the hospital, as Freddie was tended to and kept hidden from the prying eyes of law enforcement, he remained semi-conscious, the enigmatic leader’s actions etched into his memory. He couldn’t shake the feeling of fascination with the person who had saved him.
-----
Several Weeks Later: Business Transaction
Freddie Mays had fully recovered and was back to his usual self, though his thoughts were often consumed by the mysterious woman who had intervened in his moment of need. He knew little about her, but he was determined to find out more.
He found himself in a sleek, upscale office—the headquarters of a powerful business venture. He was here for a transaction, one that could potentially expand his operations. As he negotiated with the right-hand man of the organization, he felt a simmering curiosity about the true identity of the leader.
The right-hand man, impeccably dressed, conducted the meeting with an air of professionalism. “The terms are as we discussed. Our leader trusts that you’ll uphold your end.”
Freddie nodded, his eyes scanning the room for any sign of the elusive leader, but only a frame of her portrait was there. Impeccably immaculate portrait. “And when might I have the pleasure of meeting her?”
The right-hand man gave a curt nod, his eyes peircing Freddie's in a manner of protecting the gangs identity. “She’s a busy woman." he grunts. "You’ll have to be patient. Although her decisions are final.”
Freddie’s gaze lingered on the right-hand man, feeling a pang of frustration mixed with intrigue. His mind kept drifting back to that night—the leader’s eyes, her commanding presence. He wondered when she'll ever meet her again. To thank her, atleast.
-----
A Week Later: Finding HER
Freddie, who was still on a quest to uncover the mysterious leader’s identity, had finally managed to track down leads to a lavish charity event—the sort of high-profile gathering where someone like her might make an appearance. The venue was filled with influential figures, and as he mingled, he felt a growing sense of anticipation.
As he navigated through the crowd, he finally saw her—elegant and poised, standing in the spotlight. The leader, now revealed, was the same woman who had saved him months ago. Same confident y/eyes, y/body, and poise. His heart skipped a beat as he took in her confident stride and commanding presence. The realization hit him with a mix of shock and admiration.
He approached her with a purposeful gait, trying to mask the rush of emotions that accompanied the discovery. “You must be Miss l/n" with enough research and his factions findings, he knew her name atleast.
She turned to face him, her eyes reflecting a mixture of surprise and recognition. “Mr. Mays. I'm suprised to find you in such a gathering like this.”
He gave a half-smile, one of genuine admiration and curiosity. True, he wasn't the type of person to be in such events. “Well, looking for you is quite hard, I have to admit. But alas, I thought a woman like you would be here." he paused as he looked around to see that your men were glaring knives at him.
You give your men a signal of the hand and they immediately turn away. He lifts his brow amused by this power you held on them and looked at you again. "How can I ever repay you for your kindness Miss l/n?" as he slowly reached for your hand and placed a delicate kiss on your knuckle, without breaking eye contact.
You met his gaze steadily, a hint of amusement playing at your lips. "You can call me y/n. Let’s not make this a transaction, Mr. Mays. It’s less complicated than that. But we’ll talk. There’s much to discuss between us.”
He gives her a curt nod. "Please, if you plan for me to call you 'y/n', I think it's just right you call me Freddie."
You smiled "Very well then, Freddie." speaking with a volume of elegance, which sent Freddie’s spine shivering with pleasure. It felt right, you calling his name like that.
As the evening continued, Freddie realized that the enigmatic leader was someone he would never easily forget. Their paths had crossed in a way that neither of them could have anticipated, and he knew that the connection they shared was far from over.
"I must leave, I'll have that talk with you soon, Freddie." as you turned around, assisted by your right-hand.
"Where can I see you again?" he retorts almost too desperate to his liking, but it doesn't matter, he had to know.
You look at him with a slight smile, a smile enough to satisfy that certain tingle in your brain. "Faith will arrange us a day." as you strides away from his view.

A Quiet Café, The Day After the Charity Event
The extravagant charity event had come and gone, and Freddie Mays found himself in a quaint, unassuming café tucked away from the usual hustle and bustle of London. The contrast between the opulent affair and this cozy spot was striking. The café was filled with soft, ambient light and the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee.
Freddie, still deep in thought about the enigmatic leader, had come here for a bit of solitude. He sipped his coffee, staring absently out the window, when the door swung open and a familiar face walked in. His heart skipped a beat as he recognized her.
The woman who entered was dressed casually, her elegant evening attire replaced by simple jeans and a cozy sweater. She moved with the same grace and poise as before, but now she looked like someone entirely different—someone more approachable, more real.
Freddie’s eyes widened as realization dawned. She was the same girl who had worked for him years ago at his old club, the one who had caught his attention with her charm and wit. The memory of her, then a bright-eyed waitress, contrasted sharply with the powerful figure he had seen at the event. She had saved him back then too, he remembered. The explosion of his old club, where she carried out all his men out the building to safety and was never seen again.
It was her, he remembered clearly now. Without hesitation, he stood and approached her, his curiosity getting the better of him. “y/n,” he said, his voice filled with a mix of surprise and recognition. “I.. know you.”
You looked up from the counter, a hint of recognition flashing in your eyes. “Freddie Mays. I didn’t expect to see you here.”
He couldn’t hide his intrigue. “I didn’t expect to see you at all. You’ve changed quite a bit since the days.. I... " he was speechless. In oblivion. She just dissappeared one day and shows up as one of the most powerful gang leaders in London. It didn't make sense.
You smiled faintly, a mixture of nostalgia and subtle pride in your expression. “Life has a way of taking us down unexpected paths. And it seems we’ve crossed paths time and time again.”
Freddie studied her, noting the calm confidence she exuded even in casual attire. “You saved me. But I also remember you from the club. You were always different from others. Smart and witty, a woman with pride."
You nodded, acknowledging the truth in his words. “I was just a waitress back then, trying to make ends meet. Now, things have changed, but some things remain the same. I still believe in protecting those who are worth saving.”
He tilted his head, a smirk playing at his lips. “You’ve certainly become someone formidable. And it seems you’ve saved me not once, but twice now.”
He had lots of questions in mind, but this was enough for now. If this is faith, then he'll let faith explain her sudden disappearance.
Your eyes met his with a mixture of warmth and sincerity. “You have a knack for getting into trouble, Freddie. But I suppose it’s all part of the charm.”
Freddie chuckled, feeling a sense of ease in her presence that he hadn’t expected. “And you’ve managed to keep me intrigued. I owe you more than just my gratitude.”
You shrugged lightly, your expression softening. “You don’t owe me anything. I did what I felt was right. But if you’re interested, perhaps buying me a cup of cold choco milk would be nice”
He chuckles at her choice of drink, but nods anyways. "One cold choco milk for the lady please," he orders on the counter looking at y/n as she settles in his table.
He couldn’t help but take in a sense of relief seeing her, but who is she really? Curiosity trickles his nerves as she looks out the window, casually without care in the world.
She looked so normal in her attire, exclude the fact she still has that confidence sketched on her. As he settles down across her and places the drink to her side of the table, he looks at her with great deprivation. He was curious and wanted to ask alot, but he was afraid she would run away like she did last time.
You thanked Freddie for the drink and take a sip. Your lips softly touching the edge of the cup. Indeed he had lots of thoughts, Although one thing was sure, that you will never be leaving his mind any time soon.

Ah hello~ :3 I heard you were looking for requests and uh I got an idea but its Remus x reader :"3 if that's alright?
So the idea is... Remus has this chocolate thing right? And he knows everyone's favorite chocolates... But no one knows his. Reader (who is a Ravenclaw) observes him and realizes what his favorite flavor is :3. So she first tries it by leaving a stash of it on his book in the library one day to which Remus LOVES. Then... Idk you do the rest 😅 I want them to interact in the end tho 🤧 like he discovers or like she gets caught dunno aha
Pomegranate chocolate | Remus Lupin x reader
LOVED this idea had to start writing as soon as I could, hope you enjoy this’
fluff
You had always had a crush on Remus. While everyone seemed to be lusting over Sirius’s bad boy vibe, or falling for James’s outgoing behaviour, you had always found Remus’s calmness endeavouring and kind of intimidating at the same time.
You never were the one to initiate things, could barely speak to people you didn’t know, but this time, you wished you could. You wished you could just tap Remus’s shoulder and introduce yourself like every other girl in Hogwarts did. You wished you could have his attention, even for just a few seconds, even if it meant being made fun of. But you couldn’t.
So, you kept on watching him like a stalker. You knew that it was creepy, and kind of out of character for you, but having a crush on the same person for three years straight makes you do crazy things. You knew his favourite book because he always seemed to read it in the library, at least once a month. You knew his favourite classes and his least favourite ones by noticing if he was there or if he was skipping them to go smoking in the astronomy tower. You knew his favourite chocolate, of course, and you noticed that it had been a while since he last bought it. Every time he went to Honeydukes, he came back with his friends’ favourite chocolates, never his, and it seemed quite sad.
That explained why you were now standing in front of the cashier, three stashes of pomegranate dark chocolate piled in your hands, sheepishly handing them over, your face the one of a thief who had just been caught.
You didn’t even know what to do with them, you didn’t know Remus, you couldn’t just come up to him with his favourite type of chocolate like a desperate schoolgirl, begging for attention. You just knew you wanted him to be happy, you wanted to see the scars above his lip crinkle, his eyes light up, and that cute little dimple showing, knowing it was you who made him that happy.
You walked back to the library, bag secured, and looked inside from shelving unit. It was then that you spotted Remus leaving, probably going to smoke, as he always did. You looked around: no one was there, it was Saturday night, after all. Slowly, you got up from your hiding spot, positioning the chocolate on his book; you didn’t stop at that, though: you picked up one of his pens and draw a little heart on a piece of paper, positioning it right above the sweet treat.
You weren’t stupid, you knew he couldn’t know it was you who draw that heart, still you wanted to accompany the gift with some type of card. You decided to go back to your dorm, staying in your hiding spot would have been to risky.
What you didn’t see was Remus reaction to your little surprise. As soon as he saw the little heart, immediately knew it was you, his little obsession. He smiled down at the gift, finally you were showing him some interest. He had been making everything in his power to get you to like him back: looking at you in class just to see your cheeks becoming the sweetest shade of red, spotting you on the bleachers during practice only to use the hem of his jersey to wipe his face, showing his six pack. His heart swelled: he was going to make you his sooner than he expected. A plan slowly started to take form in his head.
After a week, you still had two other boxes to give to Remus. You decided to leave one of them in front of his locker during Quidditch practice, and the other one on his desk right before potions. Every time you gave him the sweet treat, you always draw an heart on the box, just so he knew that it was the same person who decided to gift him his favourite candy.
When he came back from his smoking break, you watched as he looked down at his desk, his face lighting up as he saw the chocolates, making your lips curl into a little grin. What you didn’t expect, though, was for him to be looking around, spotting you. In mere seconds you had become redder than the sweetest cherry, you looked down, praying he didn’t see your reddened cheeks from across the room, sprinting once the bell rang.
You decided to spend your day in your dorm room, too afraid of running into him. Sure, he couldn’t be knowing that you had a massive crush on him, right? You had been so careful, he couldn’t have seen you. You heard a knock on the door, and as you went to open it, right under your eyes were five boxes of white raspberry chocolate, your favourite.
No one had ever gifted you anything before, and no one knew your taste in chocolate, so that left you kind of surprised.
You gasped loudly, and then you saw Remus coming out from a corner, making you nearly faint.
“I know what you did” He was smirking down at you, the height difference making you feel even more powerless. You decided to play it off.
“And what did I do now, Lupin?” He chuckled, one of his hands coming to cup your cheek, making your false bravado fall as fast as it came.
“You gifted me chocolate. Three boxes, to be more specific. Always with those little cute hearts. My favourite type of chocolate, no one knows what my favourite type of chocolate is, but you do. My smart girl” He was staring into your eyes, his hand preventing you from looking away, even if you wanted to. “My question is, why?”
“Could ask you the same question, Lupin. No one knows my favourite type of chocolate, either.” He chuckled.
“I know why I did it. I really like you, Y/N, have been sporting a massive crush on you for a while. Are you insinuating that you feel the same about me?”
Your mouth opened, you widened your eyes. He was kidding you, this must have been a joke. “I- Is this some type of marauder prank? Because I’m not falling for it, Lupin, take your spiked chocolate away from me”
“You’re so cute when you get mad” He caressed your cheek with his thumb, his face now dangerously close to yours. “I mean what I said, you know that?” He whispered, right above your lips.
“How did you know it was me, though?”
He smiled. “You always draw those little hearts on your books while you read them. Been observing you for a while now, I could swear there isn’t one of your books who has blank margins.”
Your heart swelled. The idea that he had been as obsessed with you as you were with him making you dizzy. You reached up for his collar, pulling him close to you, pecking his lips. He groaned loudly, his hands gripping your hips as he devoured your mouth, while you reciprocated the kiss with as much fervour.
After a while, you took a big breath, pulling away from the kiss. He licked his lips, making you blush once again. “So, Friday night at Hogsmade? How does that sound?”
“Good” You pulled him once again close to you, afraid he would vanish in thin air if you didn’t.
