Hello Tumblr! I finally did my own Inktober Prompts List for this year!
Inspired by the METsona trend launched earlier this year by @kevinwada, I decided to revisit some themes of the MET Gala! For those who don't know, the gala marks the grand opening of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute annual fashion exhibit, and guests are expected to choose their fashion to match the theme of the exhibit.
If you want to use this list please tag me and use the hashtag #inktobermetgala so i can see your art!
I just chose the ones that inspired me the most, and the sub-themes (that i chose in the exhibition galleries) are optional, they are mostly a guideline for myself so feel free to use it this way or change the list a bit. I was afraid it may seems a bit too technical but since I like to over-explain fashion stuff rather than not, i will post my early researches of each themes and sub-themes, before october starts!

Pour ceux qui ne le savent pas, le gala marque l'ouverture officielle de l'exposition annuelle de mode de l’Institut du Costume du Metropolitan Museum of Art, et l’on attend des invités qu’ils accordent leur tenue au thème de l'exposition.

J’ai juste choisi les thèmes qui m'ont le plus inspiré, et les sous-thèmes (que je j’ai choisi dans les galeries des expositions) sont optionnels, ils me servent avant tout de guide, alors n'hésitez pas à utiliser telle quelle la liste ou à la changer. J'avais peur que cela puisse paraître un peu trop technique mais comme j'aime bien trop expliquer les choses plutôt que pas du tout, je posterai mes premières recherches sur chaque thème et sous-thème, avant le début du mois d’octobre !

This is just a fun outfit I was working on but I’m actually thinking of doing more, I was rewatching “Attack of the Clones” & got inspiration from Padme’s various outfits!
So I’m thinking of doing a series for this, as in like a cool Star Wars princess line 😅 (we need more royalty in SW!) But idk, what do y’all think?

I took a lot of inspiration from the Italian Renaissance but changed up the sleeves a bit to two instead of one puff, mostly because it was originally supposed to be another Star Wars dress 😅

I finally got one dress done! The holidays have been keeping me busy but here is my first Christmas dress! I might just stick with this one or make one more dress before Christmas Eve gets here, but:

I am planning to redo my AU soon, but I figured it’d make more sense to start with the outfits first. Although, while this is a basic sketch, I just feel like it’s missing something again?? I honestly don’t like the boots very much but idk what to do with them? 🤷♀️
