❥ Hello everyone! 👋🏽 I know it’s been a long while since I wrote anything, but I am trying my best! I recently got back from vacation too so that was super fun! Anywho this post might be short but it seemed like such an interesting idea. Have fun & enjoy! Thank you!

Okay! So for anyone that doesn’t know, swan maidens are a lesser known mythical creature from European origins. ‘Though I think they come from French origin? But I could also be wrong lol but anyway, swan maidens are women who can turn into swans & back again via a cloak of magical feathers.

I wanted to create a few headcanons of what they might be like, but also what other birds would be like too!

Swan maidens are considered the most elegant and charming due to their snow white feathers. However, they can be quite vain creatures if you’re not careful. Much similar to fairies of older tales, these maidens are vain and will take any opportunity to be noticed. Even if they’re undercover.

Flaunting their feathers and fair features as they swim back and forth. Hoping to catch the eyes of other bird maidens or even humans. Or taking the opportunity to gaze at their own reflections. But, if you decide to ignore them or turn down their pretentious antics, be prepared for a mean trick or two. Expect a fair amount of shoes to go missing, your garden gets trampled or eaten, or they might just try to chase you off.

Owl maidens, unlike swans, are far less sensitive about their appearance and even towards humans. They are more curious than any, but you do not want to mess with them. Residing among tall treetops and mountainsides, they guard their domains from vicious predators or anything else that decides to make trouble. They are usually much larger than other bird maidens.

Those big intelligent eyes of theirs are always on the lookout, however, you might be able to catch them during the daytime if you’re careful enough. Considering they’re nocturnal like their feathery counterparts. However, they’re more like gentle giants and wouldn’t hurt a fly. They actually like to people watch at times, preferring to sit back and enjoy themselves than start something.

Raven maidens are not necessarily elusive creatures, but they are definitely the hardest to find due to their timidity. Plus, their dark feathers usually help them blend in with any shadows or other darker places. They usually fly solo or can be seen in pairs, but it’s best not to get near them. Else they’ll run or fly away!

However, if you get too close or prove to be a scoundrel, they’ll might to trick you! Mimicking voices and other sounds is one of their many talents, and will often use this ability to hide their presence. Mimicking the sound of a running stream, rustling leaves, even other animals. But if you’re up to no good, you might end up at the wrong place. As they can mimic human voices too.

Parrot maidens are probably the most flamboyant creatures other than swan maidens, if not more so. Painting the sky with their vibrant colors makes for a wonderful display, and they can often be seen in a big cluster together showing off their looks. However, they are incredibly loud! That’s usually what gives their identity away in the first place….

They sound more like clucking hens than parrots, chattering away from sun up to sun down about who knows what. However, due to that they are quite knowledgeable! Exchanging talks of various things is in their nature, as they are quite social, and you could gain something useful if you tried. Just trade them a story or something really pretty and they’ll tell you whatever you want!

Hello there! 👋🏽 I just need a hand!

So this is just a small random post, but I was just wondering which art platform to use? I’ve been using Ibis Paint X for only a year, but I’ve heard there are other good ones out there!

Clip Studio Paint & Procreate are the big ones, and while I’m not super concrete about switching yet, I would like to know which might be a better one to use! It doesn’t have to be a super big comparison though, I’m only asking for fun 😅🙏 Although one little problem I have with Ibis Paint X is the quality of the canvas sizes? Sometimes you get a glitchy workspace if the canvas is too big? It throws me off sometimes.

THAT’S SO COOL I WANNA SEE MORE INTERNATIONAL HEROES!!!

I was thinking...

For My Hero Academia, having an international Pro-Hero license is probably super common in Europe, Africa, South America, basically continents that have a lot of countries grouped together.

It's understandable why this issue wouldn't really be explored in canon because Japan is an island nation that doesn't share a land border with anyone else.

But I find it hard to believe that there'd be a situation unfolding just over the border in, say Portugal, and the Spanish Pro-Heroes aren't going to rush over and help out their Portuguese counterparts because: "Sorry, there's an imaginary political line we can't cross without a lot of red tape." Like, are they just going to stand by while a villain rampages? And what happens when some French villain flees a pursuing hero into Germany? Are they just gonna "Neener, neener," two feet over the border, flip them the bird, and book it before the German Pros arrive on scene? No, somebody with Deku levels of 'I gotta help these people!' probably crossed a border they weren't supposed to cross, got in trouble for it, there was a controversy over them getting in trouble over it, politicians argued about it for five+ years, and then an international system was put in place.

So yeah, a European Pro applying for multiple licenses to practice in at least neighboring countries would make a lot of sense. There's probably a few closed off countries that are sticklers about their rules, but otherwise crossover would have to be inevitable.

The Bad Batch as Benders 🏔️

Hunter is either a firebender or an earthbender, I really can’t decide but I just feel like he’d be both. He’s strong, determined, & coolheaded. But he’s also very caring & tight knit with his squad.

Wrecker is an earthbender all the way!! You can’t look at this guy & tell me he isn’t an earthbender! He’s probably the strongest anyone’s ever seen, but he’s really a big old softie under all that rock-hard muscle.

Echo I had a tough time with as well, but I feel he’d be either a water bender or a nonbender! I feel he’d be good as a nonbender considering his experience with combat, as well as his prosthetics helping him out a bit. I also think it would be cool if Fives has Echo’s polar opposite for bending.

Tech would be a water bender for sure! I feel he’d also be a plant bender too considering it’s very helpful. But also because I feel he’d want to learn more about waterbending!

Omega is definitely an airbender! Or better yet, I feel she’d be a great Avatar! She’s like the cutest & most fun loving person ever, but I’m not sure he’d be as skilled as Aang, since he was a prodigy. But she is very smart! Plus, the Bad Batch can be both her teachers & her version of the Gaang!

I’m sorry this was so short but this was really fun! Consider it in honor of the Live Action ATLA, which was awesome!! 🪨🔥🌊🍃

Soulmate AU Ideas ✨

❥ Hello! 👋🏽 I came up with a few more OTP ideas, this time for the soulmate AU! I know this one is super duper popular & there are a lot of these prompts that I love so much, so I wanted to give it a try! Hopefully it comes off as unique enough? I didn’t want to repeat anything but I think it’s okay! 👍🏽 Thank you & enjoy!

A person has a special watercolor tattoo on their arm that resembles a flower. The flowers start as buds & grow as time goes on, but there can be a pair with the same flower as others! Because once you meet your soulmate, the flowers bloom into your soulmates favorite flower!

Everyone is gifted a special animal companion when they become of age, who will lead you to your soulmate when the time comes. To make it easier, each person is given a special charm with their partner’s animal friend on it. Think of it like a spirit animal!

Each person is born with a constellation on their body & their soulmate has the same one. The stars in the constellation glow when you’ve met them.

Similar to the “first words prompt” except the words look a bit scribbly & are hard to read. When soulmates meet, their words straighten out & turn a pretty gold color.

A tattoo of the place you’ll meet your soulmate: when you two meet the tattoo disappears. However, there aren’t any words or texts that say what or where the place is. Sometimes it can even be someplace simple, like a park or a library!

Different animals or insects can symbolize love: every person has a tattoo of one of these specific creatures. Who will appear right before meeting your soulmate. Once you meet them, the mark disappears.

A person is born with a special mark on their body, in the shape of a heart, which changes color depending on their soulmates mood! The heart becomes white once soulmates meet!

Clone Wars/Bad Batch Swordfighter AU

Random AU 1

Okay so this is another really random headcanon I came up with 😅 But this one I feel leads more towards the Bad Batch?

It’s just I was reading The Three Musketeers recently by Alexandre Dumas, & I thought it would be cool if Omega was like D’Artagnan where she wants to be this noble & talented sword-fighter! But ends up teaming with the Batch instead lol

It does fit the cool mentor-family theme the Batch have with her, although she won’t be a jerk face like how D’Artagnan is at the beginning of the book 😅

Although since the Bad Batch are definitely more rugged than posh cavaliers, I feel they’d be more like El Zorro: goofy swashbuckling outlaws who are perceived as bad guys when it’s the opposite.

Edit: Maybe Omega is from an orphanage & that’s another reason she wants to travel with them? 💭

Unexpected OTP Pairings ✨

❥ Okay I know Valentine’s Day was last week! Almost two weeks ago! But recently I’ve been wanting to branch out a bit with my blog writing, & writing prompts are something I love a lot! So, I’m trying something new & came up with a few OTP ideas! I hope you enjoy, thank you & have fun!

Former! Villain x Superhero

Not even a real villain, just some dumb person who steals things or who makes evil schemes that always fail. Kind of like Dr. Doofenshmirtz, & they’re actually really nice in real life! But when a superhero comes to stop them, they instantly fall in love! Seriously has heart eyes & doesn't pay any attention to the hero’s grand pre-fight speech.

Or doesn’t put up a fight at all, just hands them the stolen goods & escapes. Leaving Hero completely confused as the Villain they were supposed to stop didn’t even bother fighting, which is still good but they’re still confused.

After this, the Villain now decides to become a Superhero!! To not only impress their new crush but also because they've always really wanted to be one anyways! It was just the push they needed.

Cue them now running the streets in a completely different outfit trying their best to stop the bad guys! Usually, it doesn’t end well though: they’ll trip over the air & let them escape, or maybe just show up late to the fight & it’s already over.

It’s even worse when their Hero crush joins the fray, and then they’re really clumsy or just start sputtering like an old car. Their former henchmen, now turned sidekicks, try to console them as they lay on the couch completely embarrassed by their feats.

Oooooor, they are super confident & much better at being a superhero than they ever were being a Villain. Maybe this confidence goes to their head a bit & will literally try flirting with Hero on the battlefield! Hero gets a bit embarrassed sometimes & their other super-friends tease them about it. If this does happen, Hero might end up trying to run away from the former Villain in an effort to focus on their job. But it just ends up being really funny to watch.

Bonus: They have opposite powers or maybe one has no powers at all.

Dashing Thief x Friendly! Detective

I'm sorry this one is a bit short!

A notorious thief with a heart of gold who only ever steals from bad guys & acts more as a Robin Hood character than any. Hardly ever keeps anything for themselves; just struts around after dark on the lookout for anything suspicious. Not one person has been able to catch them & their identity remains a mystery. Would be cool if they were a nobleman/woman or had some kind of big fancy hideout. 

The detective is actually their friend/partner (maybe)! The good egg who actually sees the thief’s true intentions instead of just mucking around in a Halloween costume. Although they're pretty ticked at the way Thief does things, they usually keep their coworkers & the boss off Thief's trail. Maybe a newbie or an intern at the detective agency, determined to prove themselves on the field. 

Maybe they met as civilians & the thief switched to a disguise to hide from authorities, but bumped into the detective who was out on a coffee break. It was love at first sight for both of them, so cute! 😆 They do a lot of coffee dates now, but sometimes Detective overdoes it.....

One is the brains, and the other is the brawn. Together they can get any job done! The Detective’s coworkers find it strange how the Thief shows up more often when they're specifically on the job. The Boss is suspicious but sometimes finds them cute.

Often swing by each other’s places to not only hangout but help each other with cases or special kinds of info. If the Thief has any sidekicks, no doubt they’ll spill funny stories of missions gone wrong or close calls. 

Stealing each other's hats and impersonating the other one for fun, then cue a playful chase scene around the room! So cute!

Dragon x Wizard

I know some people like fantasy stuff!

A dragon is resting in their cave until they hears footsteps at the entrance. But instead of finding a grumpy old knight, they find a wizard! Maybe the Wizard was exploring the caves nearby or on a journey to the next town, but instead of feeling scared or angry, they started fangirling/fanboying over the dragon instead! 😆

Likes to ask them all sorts of questions & sometimes can’t stop talking. Now Wizard can come whenever they like & the two become friends!

The Wizard visits whenever they can, showing off all sorts of new spells or potions they've created. Even though it might not be as impressive as their fire, the Dragon still finds it cool & applauds.

The Dragon will always try to impress their wizard friend with tall tales of each piece of treasure. How they got it, where they found it, if they fought anyone over it, etc. But sometimes those stories are exaggerated…

The Wizard will be in absolute awe at the Dragon’s stories & can’t help but be a complete chatterbox about it. Asking more questions about different things like how their magic works, how they can fly with all that extra weight, or if they can learn a fire-breathing spell from them instead—

If the Wizard lives in a tower then the Dragon will visit just as frequently! Usually it’s in the early morning or during sundown when there are fewer people around. But if the Wizard lives in a town or city, it might take some time for the Dragon to come around. It’s not that they don’t care, but dragons are more solitary creatures. Either way, they enjoy each other's company & the dragon likes to ask questions about different thingamabobs on the Wizard's shelves.

They can both be pretty clingy but that’s sometimes a bit tough to handle because the poor wizard has to be extra careful, especially with pouring bottles or waving their wand around if they’re not even two feet apart. Doesn’t mind but sometimes will complain a bit if their partner won’t stay cooperate.

Extra Duo!

Since I loved the superhero one a lot I thought of another one: what if a Hero’s Sidekick & a Villain’s Henchman fall in love!

The Henchman does end up giving Sidekick any tips about their next plan. Cue the Villain throwing a tantrum in their lair wondering why the Hero is always one step ahead of them. 😅

They like to hangout in civilian settings together! Bonus if they found out their secret identities on accident lol

Extra Bonus if the Henchman or both villains become heroes at the end!

OMG I’m too scared to watch Season 3 I’m not ready yet!! 😭😭😭 Plus I’m busy again so I’ll have to wait but I’d rather than start it now!! I just hope Tech comes back & the others all get a happy ending! 😭😭
