Boone didn't really want to go in the first place and he's especially pissed off because all the bomb collars remind him of what the Legion did to his wife. He kills the others the second you all make it to the casino, except maybe Christine, and snipes Elijah the first chance he gets. He couldn't care less about the gold bars, he just wants to get back to the Mojave as soon as you possibly can.

Rex gets really confused when he can’t touch the holograms and is really scared when they start attacking him. He's helpful against the ghosts but he has a habit of running straight into areas that set off the collars. Not much changes with him beside him being a little more frightened and jumpy than usual.

Arcade starts to panic a bit at the beginning, the whole situation makes him nervous. He gets along surprisingly well with the other companions, he helps Dog/God out with his condition, matches Dean's snarkiness, and can even decipher Christine’s movements relatively well. Besides a few minor clashes with Dean, you could probably save all three of them, Arcade makes it pretty simple and his skills in medicine make him incredibly useful to have along.

Lily isn’t too excited about it. Leo is especially strong here and she can feel his urge to go maul Elijah. Although, she and Dog/God get along well enough due to their similarities. If she has any to spare, she’ll offer some of her medication to help him out a bit. She’ll end up adopting him, but having two mutants back you up was extremely helpful as you wandered the Villa and, eventually, the casino.

Cass hates Dean the second she meets him. She’s met people like him before and gets super defensive over you because of it. She’ll constantly be arguing with him and he’ll 100% try to kill you guys once you make it to the casino. She’s honestly just so annoyed the entire time, she hates being controlled and will kill Elijah the first chance she gets. (She’d also help you grab all those gold bars, ain’t no way she’s leaving empty-handed after everything you’ve had to deal with).

You can’t bring ED-E here, his radio frequencies cause the collars to go off.

The entire place reminds Raul about what happened in Mexico. He's scared and angry and just wants to ensure you both make it out of there. He's really good at picking up on the multitude of traps that have been laid around the Villa and is especially good at scavenging for supplies. He'll honestly help so much with keeping the both of you alive. He just wants to leave after it all, anything in the Mojave is better than this.

When you wake up, Veronica won’t even be there. Elijah would’ve had Dog take her to wherever he is so that she wouldn’t have to experience any of it. She’d ask a bunch of questions about where you went and why she's there, enough so that he ends up releasing you. She’s gonna feel so betrayed, especially when she discovers Christine is being held here as well. She’d reluctantly kill Elijah at the end, not wanting any of the gold or tech you both came here to collect in the first place, she just wouldn’t be in the mood for it anymore.

Yes Man’s positivity is a drastic difference compared to your harsh surroundings. He tries to get along with the others but his passive aggression makes it hard. He’s not all too worried since he can’t die, so he takes it upon himself to defend you at any cost. If you decide to kill Elijah, Yes Man will take control of the hologram monitor thing and you’ll both end up taking ownership of the Sierra Madre by the end.

At first, Benny sees it as an economic opportunity then gets really pissed when they take his suit. He and Dean would get along in the beginning, but over time they start to clash. Once you make it to the casinos, he'll just want to sit and gamble. The two of you end up sitting there way longer than you should have and Dog ends up being about one step away from nuking the place. You both also spend way too much time in the vault, and once you have everything you want, y’all sprint out of there, not even worried about killing Elijah anymore, you’re both too caught up on the fact that you successfully pulled off the greatest heist in America.

Boone doesn't clean anything ever. Sometimes he doesn't even shower. He’s usually up all night because he's so used to when he had the night shift in Novac, so he mostly finds it hard to sleep. On nights like these, he'll go take Rex out on walks. It's good for both of them because they are both so ready to defend the house from absolutely anybody and being out and about like this makes them both feel like they're guarding the place—like he's back in Novac. He and Cass also usually end up getting into a few altercations, but they work great when it comes to sniping legionaries from the upstairs window.

Arcade is usually studying something, so the only time he ever really leaves his room is to eat. Sometimes it'll be he and Veronica locked in one of the rooms studying something. Their shared experiences of growing up surrounded by armed militias help them bond and make it easier for the two to go out on excursions without bickering. He and Lily end up being the resident caretakers when anyone gets sick. Arcade also tries to avoid ED-E a lot, but for whatever reason, ED-E's attached to him and is, most of the time, following him around.

Raul mostly just sits on the couch with Boone during the day. He's also the one everyone goes to when something's broken. He'll be sarcastic and say something like, "Oh, sure, I can fix anything", but every time he does end up fixing everything. Whenever anyone leaves the house, he'll ask what time they'll be back so he knows when he's supposed to be worried.

Lily's the one who cooks for everyone. Some of the others are especially helpless when it comes to making food, so she’s a godsend in the household. She's also the reason the place looks so nice, she and Veronica are the only ones who have any idea how to decorate. She dotes on everyone and is honestly the main reason that the house is functional. In the mornings when she's making breakfast, ED-E will float around her and play the New Vegas Radio so she can listen to the news.

Rex ends up using Cass' bed because she's usually passed out drunk on the couch. She also ends up 'borrowing' a lot of things from people, specifically from Arcade, but he puts an end to that fairly quickly. Whenever she doesn't want to drink alone she goes and gets Raul and they go down to the bar together, he usually only drinks a little, though, because he wants to make sure that they both make it home safely.

Veronica wakes up way too early and just ends up talking to Boone until everyone else wakes up. One of her favorite things to do is play card games with everyone else, although Raul usually ends up winning. She's also one of the only ones who pick up around the house, her and Lily end up making everyone's bed to keep the place looking nice. She's a lot more strict when it comes to everyone's role in the house and will get onto any of the others if they slack off on their chores.

ED-E loves playing music around the house, Arcade thinks it's annoying, but Raul managed to pick up on a Mexican station and ED-E never turns it off. He likes to follow the others around, the only problem with this is that sometimes he'll just be hovering over them as they sleep, it freaks a lot of them out. He's not too much of a bother besides that, although, he has a habit of hanging any poster he finds out in the waste randomly up on the walls, and everyone's confused about why there's a communist propaganda poster in the living room.

Whenever Rex is annoyed or upset he'll go bark at any of the others who happen to be wearing a hat. Cass locked him outside once because he wouldn’t stop barking at her while she was hung over, so he mostly targets her. He and Arcade will occasionally take trips down to Freeside to visit with the Followers and The Kings, he gets super happy whenever it happens and will run around the house for hours after.

Love that in New Vegas you can like personally and permanently fuck over your human companions:

You can destroy the Brotherhood of Steel which Veronica still considers her family despite their differences. On top of that you can kill Elijah and Christine, the latter not being necessary or beneficial to you at all.

You can set up Cass and take her to the Silver Rush to be killed by Jean-Baptiste. Which is extra cruel cause you can literally only do it by first getting her to sell out to the people who tried to kill her in the first place.

You can put more innocent blood on Boone’s hands and fuck with his head more by having him kill his former best friend who is the last person he is implied to have any sort of relationship with outside the Courier.

You can literally sell Arcade into slavery to the Legion in where his hatred for every single one of them is so strong he literally disembowels himself as a final fuck you and so he doesn’t have to spend one more second there.

Not to mention how you can just ignore ED-E, Lily, Rex and Raul’s issues leading them to live their relatively immortal lives full of hardships, unhappiness or inevitable slow deaths. Like it’s not cool but it’s really cool that the game lets you be really awful along with really good.

I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t been drawing fallout ponies over the course of the month so why not post now while my blog is getting some traction. I love autism. Also shhhhhh I ended up changing Josh pony’s colors and patterns in between first and second drawing (burnt came first). I hope all the designs come off recognizable enough.
