I drew this I think roughly a year ago.
This depicts 3 of my favorite Pokémon from every region at the time.
Obviously, my drawing style and opinions have changed so I'm thinking about remaking it soon.

The dust is slowly settling in our new apartment (lol), & we’ve been having a lot of cozy September rain since we moved in. So, time for more rainy Pokémon fun, of course! 🌧️
Rain (Vaporeon) always sits with her mate, Sasha (the mister’s Glaceon). Skye & Sora (Altaria & Castform) are on my desk next to my “Rain Dance” mug, & meet our newest addition, Cirrus (Cinccino)! Cirrus clouds are those wispy, upper atmosphere clouds resembling hair, the word “cirrus” meaning “hair”.
Our new area has a lot of open skies, so I have a better view for cloud spotting (lots of cumulus & nimbostratus lately) - that’s been nice ☁️
Also been listening to a lot of cozy, rainy, video game music, so here’s a couple of my rainy rec’s if that’s also your vibe 🎧
insaneintherainmusic - amazing video game jazz arrangements as well as a few of his own compositions (some for indie games!). He has a LOT of Pokémon arrangements - I’ve been listening to his “Year of Sinnoh” playlist a lot while making DxP REWRITE ⛈️🎷
Rainy Day Video Games Music - extended versions of cozy video music with a gentle rain track over it - very anti-anxiety. I especially like these tracks from Undertale: “Quiet Water”, “It’s Raining Somewhere Else”, & “Good Night”
shadowatnoon - like the previous channel, but with playlists of tracks instead of one extended track (some with a rain track, some not). Unfortunately, she’s been struck with copyright for some of her best ones (not to mention theft, Smile Together), but someone made an archive for her. My favorites are “rain dance” (a Pokémon mix), “drifting away” (a Kirby mix), & “dreamland” (a general Nintendo music mix).

Made some more of these trainer encounters for my commission sheet I’m working on! I had the fun idea to offer “Single Battle” & “Double Battle” drawings either line-art or full-color, with 1-6 Pokémon per drawing (1-3 each for Doubles, just like in the game!)
For the “Single Battle” example, I drew more “me-Ansy” than “comic-Ansy” (lol) with the plush team you’ve been seeing in those slice of life posts I’d do (still waiting on the last 2 members, hopefully for Christmas!). Really looking forward to it getting cool enough for me to wear my cozy cloudy sweater more~ ☁️
For the “Double Battle” I drew Ansy & Ikrit as a “Kimono Couple”! Kimono / Furisode Girl is a trainer class who wear traditional Japanese clothes & use Eeveelutions, perfect for our Eevee family lol. Reminds me of the Sakura Matsuri (Cherry Blossom Festival)! 🌸 I need that kimono
I’m hoping to have the completed sheet done soon. Again, I won’t be able to do too many at a time (the Double Battle definitely ate up a lot of my time / energy lollllll), but yeah! Should be fun!
PKMN & a latte
Morning ⛅️ Cirrus is keeping me company as I work on these Hurricane Helpers. I like the idea that he likes making coffee with me (I always thought Minccino / Cinccino sounds like a coffee drink lol)
I was talking with a friend about making lattes at home without any barista equipment, so I thought I’d share what I do here: all you’ll need is your microwave & a tea whisk (I have a metal one, so I can’t say how a bamboo one would be different)
Make your coffee (stir in any sugar or sweeteners here so it can dissolve).
Warm up your milk for 1 min or until steaming (1 cup of milk takes about 1 min)
Whisk the milk until you get smooth foam (you want to keep going until the bubbles smooth out, about 1 min)
Slowly pour the milk over your coffee.
& there you go - easy latte! Probably won’t make any fancy latte art with this method (I mostly just make clouds lol ☁️), but it works! If you want to take it a step up, you can add things like cinnamon, cocoa powder, or my favorite, lavender (just steep the lavender at step 1 for 4 min & strain). Have fun! ☕️
PS: be sure to pick a milk or plant milk that has some fat content in it - you don’t need to get cream or whole milk, but if you try with something non-fat, it may not foam (I heard oatmilk & soy milk make pretty good foam for plant milks 🌱)
Next was Nidoran Male’s turn for a fusion and it paired me with Cinccino.
The oil that costs Nidocinno’s fur is very toxic. If a group of them gather in a single area,it can pollute the area around them.
