On Saturday, the Marin Humane Society took in a dog surrendered by its owner. They soon discovered the scared, shivering dog had recently had puppies — puppies who were much too young to be separated from mom.
After some convincing, the owner surrendered the puppies too. When mom and puppies were reunited, the adorable interaction was captured on video.

For context, Nancy is the 60-something year old woman my mom and a couple other business owners helped get out of a homeless shelter and into a retirement home. I helped her move in a few weeks back. You have no idea how much this makes me smile

This kind of behavior reminds me that the world has a lot of good people in it.
I’m Australian so the figures would be different down here but that doesn’t stop me from feeling joy that I’m a part of something that helps so many people. My local church alone has a community garden that I work in where most of the produce is donated to the food bank or given to parishioners for free, a recycling program, a shared soup kitchen with the uniting church, a free morning tea after mass twice a week and (plus more) is just charitable to the community, and this is a very small church with only around <30-50 regular attendees, so imagine just how much good the large churches can do!
This lady paid for an entire Subway's food
She walked in, gathered up everybody's orders, and paid for them. She paid for mine, and I'm just still sitting here in shock.
And she was completely calm, too! She wasn't running around all high and mighty; she was chill and quiet.
