It's really sad to see these things on the internet. I mean, if you can't speak good about someone then at least don't go around saying awful things to someone like that. I understand the joke and criticism but there's a nicer way to talk about that. You don't have any idea what a person might be going through and how your words would affect them.
Speak only if your words are better than silence.
I don't think you would like it if somebody talked about/to you like that. Social media is a place to chill. Let's keep it simple and light.
Making fun of others is not a coping mechanism, if you are going through something in your life, you can talk about it. It won't make you a weak person, instead it would show that you're brave enough to face your problems and choose to fix them.

In my head I wouldn’t read it as 100 dollars
I’d read it as “dollars 100”
