Rhaenyra reminds me of those white moms who have kids with a different race father and then refuses to acknowledge that they don’t have the same privileges as her. like she’s had so much privilege and power her whole life she can’t even see the corner she’s just backed her child, her heir into. She’s so dense that it hurts. Jace is right. ALICENT was right. Having three fucking kids with a man whose genes had proved to curb stomp yours IS an insult! Not bc bastards are evil or anything, but it’s a fucking insult to Jace, to Luke, to Joffery to drag them in a situation where they’re constantly demonized for YOUR actions and then REFUSE to own up to it even when your child is begging you with literal tears in their eyes to not take the one thing that saves him from the bullying and harassment YOU brought onto them. At this point, I’m extremely grateful the story ends with the targs in disarray bc none of those white haired fuckers deserve the throne (except for Baela and Jace, with brown hair
And to make it even worse, Jace is RIGHT. When the war is over and your brown haired, pug nosed child who looks exactly like someone NOT his legal father is named heir and you’ve taken his ONLY symbol of legitimacy away what will you do then?? Hmm?? I swear…
Right because, then this fact actually makes what Jace and Alicent said make even more sense.

um... did y'all see how the guards were instructed to keep the bastards from fleeing when vermithor attacked... rhaenyra really brought in a man eating dragon, walked away, and locked the doors behind her knowing full well that at best all but one of them would die.

Syrax
Her eating habits and lack of hunting instincts have earned her a reputation of being spoiled
She is friendly with humans and is very perceptive of their feelings/ emotions
Alicent once referred to her as "the prettiest dragon" when she was younger
She , aside from Dreamfyre, lays the most eggs
Unlike other dragons, she seems to not have a preferred flight partner and tolerates them but does not have a bond with any dragon
Vermithor
Very vocal and roars during flights (for no apparent reason)
He only likes to fly next to Silverwing, who is the only creature he shows affection to
Has mismatched eyes one brown, one white steeming either from his time fighting in war or his time in the dark Dragonpit
He has a short temper which is displayed when he attacks ruthlessly
Given his many years in the Dragonpit, he hates dark and small spaces
Silverwing
Usually friendly with humans
Doesn't like the cold despite having experience flying in cold climates
She likes to sleep curled up next to Vermithor
The favorite of the dragonkeepers due to her gentle demeanor
She refuses to fly toward the North and even less so to the Wall (the reason why is unknown)
The HOTD characters in my fic if they were in a horror movie:
Rhaenyra: dies after being killed by the twist villain
Alicent: survives by proxy of not being at the spooky house/cabin
Lenora: dies after sacrificing herself to slow down the bad guy
Dyanna: dies but not before managing to get at least a stab in on the bad guy
Aegon: dies because he was busy getting high or drunk
Helaena: survives because she hates social outings and never went to the spooky house/cabin
Aemond: dies after being revealed to be the twist villain
Jace: survives and goes on to be in the squeals as a legacy character
Daeron: dies after being jump-scared
Luke: dies in the first act making him the first victim
Joffrey: survives because he had a curfew and left early
Baela: survives because she was gone half the movie and only showed up in the final act with a gun
Rhaena: survives and becomes the final girl after having drastic character development making her a more ruthless person by the end
Addam: dies after trying to save his brother
Alyn: dies trying to get revenge for Addam’s death
Hugh: dies because he was a frat boy
Ulf: dies because he was the main bad guy
Gaemon: survives because he left the spooky house/cabin as soon as things started getting weird
Viserys: died before the movie even takes place
