The image is from the 1995 film Richard III. Jim plays Lord William Hastings and Maggie Smith plays Richard’s mother, the Duchess of York.
Fun fact: Ian McKellen (born 1939) plays Richard III and was also writing and producing the movie, when he asked Maggie Smith (born 1934) to play his mother. So there is actually less than a 5 year age gap between them in real life, despite them playing mother and son.

This was not Maggie Smith’s first foray into playing a character far older than herself though - for example she played 92 year old “Granny Wendy” in Hook (1991) when she was only 56.
