You met the second time in an arcade a few days after the first meeting. After five years of dating, he'll take all his courage and ask you to marry him (in reality, Kuroo will have threatened him he would take away all his video games if he wouldn't propose to you for about a year)

His proposal will be made in a very special way: he'll ask you to play Minecraft with him and, when you open the game, you'll find a text in water on land which reads: "Will you marry me?"

Your wedding will be celebrated in the Western style, without the typical Shinto wedding ceremony, and totally confidential (in fact, only your parents and closest relatives, his former team, Hinata and your closest friends will be invited); in addition, there will be a small party after the ceremony, but nothing too exaggerated

His followers won't know about your marriage, because he's always preferred to maintain a certain secrecy regarding his engagement with you: indeed, he'll never mention you in his live and wear your wedding ring on his finger, but he'll keep it as a pendant on a chain he'll keep hidden under his shirt (one day, during one of his live, a follower will notice something sparkling under his shirt and ask what it's; Kenma will be silent for a few seconds, and then reply it's probably the light from his computer reflecting on him in a strange way and his followers won't believe it)

FEELING A SET OF eyes on you, you glance up from your Nintendo. Connecting your eyes with cat like golden eyes, blinking at the sudden unexpected action. You just stare back, what feels like hours, but couldn’t have been more then a couple seconds, he glances away as soon as he realises you’re looking back at him.

Shifting his glaze back to his game council, a Nintendo just like the one in your hands. Taking one more glance, you turn back to your own game. Choosing Amy as your character for the new triathlon your setting up.

Taking the same seat the next day, you see the boy sitting across from you again, taking a moment to debate you sigh. Going to your messages, you open it up for connection, just waiting, and waiting, to see if he had the same idea.

K3NMA: Hi

Smiling at the messages, you glance up, having your eyes connect, you look down and twiddle your thumbs to think of a good reply. Finally ending with the most obvious reply;

Nodding to your self, you don’t notice a set of eyes on you. It’s hard to think of anything to say that won’t sound stupid or boring.

Chuckling softly at his sudden witty reply, you see the notification of your game asking if you’re still playing.

A/N → i know it’s not valentines anymore but I still wanted to write something so it is now white day... in the head canons it still says valentines <3 

i. ITADORI YUJI

→ he is the personification of chaotic good. in all honestly he hadn’t thought of anything to do for valentines day in particular. whenever he thought of a cute date he took you on it as fast as possible. live is short, he does not know how long he has and he definitely wasn’t going to waste what time he had with you.

→ so he went to the only guy he knew that could help him wheat out all the bad apples.

→ spitting out idea after idea as he went he waited for fushiguro reaction; “I like it, go with that one.” he hums.

nodding, itadori casually strikes that idea. leaving him with only one perfect date idea; “thanks, man.”

→ he brought you to his home town; now, it might have not sounded like the grand romantic acts you see in movies. but as a city girl you had never left the kanto prefecture more less gone to visit a random small town... if anything, you barely left tokyo ( if it was not for for a valid reason, sorcerer work, or to go to kyoto )

→ so, coming here made it special. walking around the town; he shows you all his favorite spots, his old school, the place where he fell as kid that left that scar on his elbow. it made a smile come up to your face, that never left.

at the end of the night, you ended up at a swing set. one eerily similar to the one where you had met ( not that not all swings were bascially the same thing... not at all ) “hi.” you whisper softly. making him smile at the cute gesture, “hi.”

ii. KOZUME KENMA

→ valentines is a scam. a scam where he would never invest in… that was until the two of you got together and now here he is. trying to make a list of what could be your perfect day, all your likes and loves.

→ you always say you just like spending time with him and that’s all you need, but that seemed a little too easy and cheesy for his taste. he couldn’t just be with you and act like it wasn’t a holiday.

→ no, you needed to do something special. an activity you wanted to do and would make this day unforgettable for the both of you.

→ the two of you went to a cat cafe. you had been bugging him for weeks to go with you saying how cute he would look surrounded by small kittens.

→ also, that his eyes remind you of a cat and that’s why you like them even more then you did before. he said it made no sense as he was not covered with fur nor did he particularly think his eyes resembled one of a cat, but with that smile of yours he could never tell you differently.

iii. SHIRAKUMO OBORO

→ this boy had it all planned out in his head, he would take you on a cloud date. get your favourite snacks and sushi that you enjoy while his cloud takes you over important milestones of your relationship ( the big moments mostly took place at school and your houses, but mr. loud cloud had some special places )

→ it would be perfect. well…. it would have been if it didn’t decide to start storming with no sign of stopping. all was lost, he had counted on the weather to be on his side!

→ taking the L he decides to move the date inside. telling you to meet him at his house as soon as you wake up. no changing, no formal wear, just your pyjamas. 

→ it’s a cloud ford!

→ smiling at the boy, you can’t help but feel a sense of euphoria go through you as you hold him close to you. enjoying your day in the clouds.

iv. SUGAWARA KŌSHI

→ this boy knows everything there is to know about you. favourite food? check. colour, drink, place, series, film? who are you kidding, he knew it all. if there was every a quiz on you he would get a 101%

→ so why is he now blanking? nothing seemed good enough. he even asked daichi and he was just as clueless.

→ they had cancelled training for this particular day and he couldn’t think of anything… and then it hit him; cinnamon rolls. you loved that deliciously sweet dough more then anything else.

→ it took him days of practices but he finally was able to make the perfectly balanced bun. all so he could show you how to make your own. that way you never had the disappointment of going to the bakery and them being sold out.

→ and so he did; you had a lovely kitchen date with your cute boyfriend teaching you how to bake your favourite thing in the world.

v. TANAKA RYŪNOSUKE

→ with all the times he saw something that reminded him of you and bought it with no hesitation; all he had left to his name now was ten bucks. to be fair there was enough to do with that amount of money, but none of the things he had initially planned in his head. 

→ a trip to the tokyo tower? no. bunchy-jumping on a budget? no. the movies? no. also, since when did cinema get so pricey?

→ what he could do with the little money he had; was get you some snacks and bring you to the most important place of your relationship. 

→ which is no where at all. the plan went as followed; he would pretend he had no clue and surprise you at the end of the day with his reveal, but trying to keep up the entire day was so hard. he had to worship you and treat you as the goddess you are, but he got this.

→ waiting ‘till night, he made his way to just outside your window. letting the song, you guys song, blast loudly. looking out of your window you say your boyfriend dance that stupid dance the two of you would always dance; ‘because of you—’ the song continued on the background.

I can see ko ordering for his gf at restaurants and holding her hand at all times to keep close and also bc psychical touch <33 Also imagining Kou with his s/o and feeling her tug on his sleeve would just make his heart melt, focusing all his attention on her.

Frowning you got up drowsily, walking towards the kitchen to see him leaning against your kitchen island with an apple pie in his hand while he scrolled away on his phone. Hearing your footsteps he looked up, smiling when he saw your sleepy expression. “Whyd ya leave me all alone in bed pretty boyy?” You whined.

SEMI :: semi was reading a book you had recommended him, he was pretty engrossed into it which was something that made you happy. semi had never turned down any books you recommended him, unless its a book he wanted to gift you. You had been taking a nap besides him waking up from the roar of thunder.

When your eyes fluttered open you couldve swore you saw an angel, well if that angel was Eita. You had told the blonde numerous times how he looked as good as a prince but he never seemed to believe you. So when you mumbled a slurred ‘pretty.’ Eita instinctively looked down at you. “Hm?”

you and kenma have been dating since the end of his highschool days, so walking into his room to make sure he ate something during breaks almost every stream caused for suspicion from fans and viewers. Kenma’s slight soft smile every time you were in the room with him and bringing him food didn’t help either.

“She’s so sweet, always making sure you’re eating wish i had a gf like that”

“Wait are you guys dating??”

“No guys we aren’t dating, she’s just a good friend of mine.” Kenma stated, biting his tongue after to mot say more. As much as you didn’t mind remaining anonymous he could tell it bugged you seeing others thirst after him, not being able to finally say that he was yours from the start. Ken had felt the same way and deicded to ask if you were finally ready to reveal yourself.

So before the beginning of a stream, while kenma was getting everything ready you sat out of sight from the camera playing a game of your own. “Hey baby?” Humming in response you look up from your switch to find the blonde turned around in his chair. “How would you feel about us going public?” A soft smile tugged at your lips, “I would love to, you sure thats okay though ken?” He nodded signaling you to come and take a seat on his lap.

“Yeah, i mean after 3 years of keeping you secert i think its time. Just get ready for some ridiculous qna’s they’re kinda intrusive.” You giggled at the thought, “Well I’ll be looking forward to that, though expect me to expose you just a bit ken.” You teased, only to receive a soft kiss to the shoulder. “I’m fine with any teasing from you if it means i dont have to act like your not a big part of my life anymore.”

During that stream everyone went crazy over you both, “I knew it! You guys are so cute, best youtube couple ever <33” “Idk if i wanna be kenma or y/n omg.” “THATS HER? OMG she’s so pretty!” Most fans were supportive of your relationship, some even wishing you stayed together forever. Of course there were fans who were disapproving of your coupling, saying kenma could do better. But you both payed no mind to those comments, after all in the end they were jealous that he had an s/o for so long.

The morning after you woke up to see what your friends were going on about so early, finally listening to them you opened twitter to find ‘kenmaxy/n’ trending. And not just on one platform either, instagram, tiktok, youtube. Not one platform wasnt talking about you both. Turning over in bed, kenma cuddled himself into your side. Eyes adjusting to the light of your phone. “Whats going on baby?”

“Apparently we’re trending, on everything.” You heard a chuckle from the blonde before saying, “It’d be weird if we weren’t honestly.” He admits, his voice laced with grogginess and sleep. You rolled your eyes with a smile, putting your phone down back on the nightstand you settled back into bed. “Oh yeah and why is that?”

“It was going to happen eventually, your too pretty to be overlooked and since people see me as ‘famous’ for whatever reason it causes for a stir in the media.” He says nonchalantly, earning a soft smile from you. “Too pretty to be overlooked? Thats a new one.” You teased, earning a kiss to the neck from the blonde. “Mhm, if people weren’t going crazy over you I’d be mad. Who wouldn’t?”

Pressing a kiss to his forehead then his lips you settled back into his arms, “Your so cute ken.” You teased once more resting your chin ontop of his head, running your fingers through his soft locs.

The ball echoed off the gym floors. It was a little after school had ended and the gym was already active. Some of its patrons had started working long before the school day officially ended and were already in a groove. Today the male volleyball team had the gym so it was free balls left and right. Ball after ball, the smack reverberating through the gym. Sneakers squeaking as they moved across the court.

“One more!” the spikey headed blocker called as he waited for yet another spiker to attack him. Apart from anything else in the match, he loved the thrill of shutting out the opponent with his blocks. Just the sheer look on their faces was enough to make him grin. Smack. Another ball’s path was obstructed by Kuroo’s aggressively stable block.

“Keep going!” coach Nekomata encouraged. “Force it through.”

Water droplets trickled down his chin as he sprayed the water down his throat. Kenma couldn’t possibly fathom why it was still so hot. It was after school. The gym was on the opposite side of the setting sun, so why in the hell was it still burning like hell it there? He sighed as he glanced over at his friend who was playfully arguing with their resident libero. He rolled his eyes at the very sight. Typical

Then his eyes trailed over to the bench near the coach. He spotted you. A smile threatened to creep unto his face before he thought back to how hot it was. No one randomly smiles when it’s hot like ass. He simply shook his head before deciding to approach you. The real task was actually getting his legs to follow the command his brain as trying to send to them yet they just couldn’t seem to move.

That was fine, I guess. At least he could look at you a bit. Your facial features, the way your lips moved as you chatted with the coach, the way you moved your hands about to express yourself, the way your eyes were glued to his friend. Wait, what? He didn't like...this. The way you were eyeing his friend like he was some type of trophy to be won. He hated it honestly. Regardless, he walked onto the court and continued their practice.

When practice was finally over he wanted to die. Who the heck pissed the coach off to make him decide on physical training instead or ball training for the second half of practice? He felt like a bowl of jelly. His abs were considering ab-andoning (sorry) him. But then, just as he was, probably, about to pass on, you waved him over.

“Hey Kenma!” You greeted warmly, somehow this heat not bothering him nearly as much as the Sun was earlier on for practice. “Hi (y/n).” he mumbled. “Seemed like you had fun with practice today.” You teased with a smirk. “The only one having fun was the coach since he got to sit and yell at us like we’re his grandkids.” He rolled his eyes as they both started walking.

After about a twenty minute walk from the school, you were finally in your neighborhood. The conversation was pretty cool and calm for most of the walk home, that was until you started yapping about Kuroo. “-and his precision is amazing.” You continued. “It’s okay, I guess.” Kenma sassed lowly.

“Don’t get me started on his stamina, it’s literally so freaking-”

“What are you talking about?” you asked as you approached your house. “It’s just that you talk about every little thing he does like he’s some kind of deity. You clearly like him.” He spoke, now finding the sidewalk extra entertaining. You, on the other hand, stared at Kenma like he had two heads. That was before you leaned in and quickly pecked his cheek before turning and running up to your front door. “See ya tomorrow!” You waved with a grin before entering the house.

You were the manager of Nekoma’s volleyball club. For a while the team had remained well and fit without one but Kuroo convinced you entering your second year to become the manager and you finally agreed to do so. You hadn't entered the department with absolutely no knowledge, you knew a lot since your brother was a former player himself.

“Kenma, your water.” You said, handing the boy his water as you sat next to him, going off the fact that it was the last water you had to deliver.

“Thank you.” Kenma responded, taking the water from your hand and drinking it. Cold and fresh felt so nice on such a warm and sunny day, even though the gym was nice and cold, by all the exercise he had just done, the cold felt almost unapparent.

Kenma was one of your best friends, he was the type of person who you just couldn't help but have a crush on, you both weren't dating but many people said you were on that stage of your relationship. It wasn't very obvious to you but many of your friends claimed that Kenma definitely liked you as more than a friend, and you couldn't really do anything about it except take their word for it.

“What made you decide to become the manager..?” Kenma asked in a low and soft pitch, which seemed like his normal voice but you could tell that he was purposefully lowering his volume.

You sighed, “Kuroo told me you'd be lonely entering your third year. You also continue telling me about this ‘Shoyo’ guy and I'm curious about his volleyball skills since you seem very intrigued by him, and that's not very common for you.” You responded, Kenma visibly became embarrassed as he understood where you were coming from.

After thinking for a moment and suddenly grew curious, “What made you continue volleyball thinking about it..?” you realized that you never knew the exact reason why he continued the activity instead of just dropping it, you knew that he joined because of Kuroo but the more you thought about it the more you realized that it was unlike him to keep going with the sport.

He frowned and thought for a moment, “I continue for Kuroo, if it weren't for him I would've already dropped it.”

Mimicking his expression, you once again entered a deep phase of thought and looked over at him, “So did you plan on continuing next year?” You asked, trying to get a response out of him because you knew that his team technically needed him, he was called the brain of Nekoma for a reason.

He sighed and nodded, “After meeting someone like Shoyo, I have no choice but to continue. I can't just leave without ever getting answers.” He rested his back against the stage wall and closed his eyes, the exhaustion overwhelming him.

“So you're gonna continue after your graduation?”

Kenma shook his head as you both heard coach Nekomata’s voice echo through the gym, making you both stand up and start walking back to your own individual places.

“I will only keep this up until school ends, this is just. a. game after all.”

💬 kuroppiii ─ “ i ' m gonna cry this is so soft wtf ”

waning sunlight bore through the row of square windows perched high up on the nekoma gymnasium's walls. the gym lights were already off, and in the dimness of the space, the windows gave glimpses to the pink and purple sky as the sun was starting to set outside. they casted shapes on the shiny and sneaker-streaked wooden floor, the patches of light continuously getting sliced and diced by the shadow of the spinning ceiling fans the third years were yet to turn off.

the only noises that met your ears were the distant whirr of those metal blades, the minuscule clicking of buttons and flicking of joycons, and the faint sound of breathing coming from kenma–who was snug up against you as you sat on the floor against one of the gym walls, showing you the gameplay of the new game he just bought.

volleyball practice had just ended. you could hear through the open entrance doors the rest of the boys on the team conversing loudly, as they put equipment away or were gathering their things to go home–it was a school night after all.

but between you and kenma, no words needed to be spoken. you both were completely content there, feeling the warmth of one another close by and watching the bright screen of kenma's portable gaming console flash colorful pictures of a hero overcoming their evil adversaries.

kenma was very grateful for this fact, for this little ritual he started to share with you when you started to stop in at the end of volleyball practice. originally, you did it with the intention to chat and ask him how practice went, then to walk home with him and kuroo and talk some more.

but sometimes practice was tiring, and some days kenma just couldn't find the energy to keep up the conversation. it's not that he didn't want to talk to you. he loved hearing your voice when you two conversed, actually.

all it was is that he needed to recharge. he needed to play with his games, even if just for ten to twenty minutes.

so you let him. because you care. and kenma loves appreciated that about you. from then on, you two started to end the days off (before being met with kuroo to make the trek home, that is) finding a little corner, a bush, a not-so-dusty spot under the bleachers... to just sit. and he'd play another level or two of one of his games, and you'd calmly watch.

your shoulders brushed every time kenma had to quickly maneuver some ability in the game–and even if it slipped far enough for a rush of coldness to attack your arm, it would always without fail return to its rightful place, bringing with it warmth as an apology. at times, you swear you feel like your breathing was in sync. every time you blinked, your eyelids almost seemed to move in slow motion.

together, time gradually slowed to a stop. you two were in a little bubble of your own creation, where nothing else mattered except the both of you. both of you being, and being together...

"kenma! kenma? y/n!" kuroo's voice suddenly rings through the door of the gym and bounces off the walls of the big room. kenma quietly groans and a giggle escapes you at his reaction–as if you two haven't been in this scenario for a dozen times before, and as if kenma's reaction has ever changed, at that.

"yaku! i told you to turn the fans off. don't forget tomorrow!" you then hear the captain yell out. overhead, the fans spin to a stop, and now everything is still for a moment.

"time to go kenma," you softly nudge at his side.

the blonde reaches over to shove his console in his bag with a sigh, "fine, let's go."

as you stand up, you body feels a shock of cold. it's already yearning for kenma's warmth again, the one that makes hiding from the world feel so nice. so your body seeks it out, following close behind him as you make your way across the gym to the exit.

kenma relishes in this newfound hiding spot, letting his eyes close and his head lean against your shoulder for even just a moment. the bustling of the convention-goers outside gets tuned out.

there's no game console in his hands this time. so you resort to watching how instead of pressing at buttons and joycons, he plays with your warm hands under his fingertips.

and you let him, for as long as he wants, and he appreciates loves that about you, the person–his solace–who gets him so well. he loves you.

- when it comes to liquor, i think it would be when you guys invite kuroo (and his girlfriend if he has one) over and maybe a few other friends. choice of drink would most likely be soju (apple flavored soju!!) and sake

- if you don't like wine, he would definitely drink whatever you fancy more but he will make sure that the alcohol is top quality

- i feel like kenma would have develop a strong tolerance for alcohol for business meetings (drinking with clients) and i feel like he would casually drink a cup or two of red wine/alcohol while streaming. so i think it would take quite abit of alcohol for him to be drunk

- when drinking with you, he would usually drink quite alot as he doesn't need to worry about entertaining a friend or client

- when he's drunk, he talks A LOT!!! he would talk about absolutely everything and anything

- he would compliment you and would say how good looking you are every 5 minutes and he would blush alot and giggle alot when he does that

kenma is someone that falls in love very gradually over time.

you became friends bc you were introduced to kenma by either kuroo or hinata.

he’ll probably know about his feelings when he catches them, but is super denial about it to others, like kuroo.

kuroo obviously thinks that’s bs and tries to be the best wingman even tho you guys got together without his help 💀

ENOUGH BACKSTORY ON TO RELATIONSHIPS

you have to make sure he’s taking care of himself. staying hydrated, taking breaks, eating meals, etc.

he likes when you sit in his lap while he plays games.

perceptive towards your actions and feelings and gives HELLA GOOD advice.

doesn’t show pda. HE DOES LOVE YOU but he gets uncomfortable about it and is awkward. he’ll hold your hand once in a while tho.
