PERCY JACKSON FANS HEAR ME OUT!

It’s season 3 of the PJO show AKA The Titans Curse. Percy (Walker) is sitting in front of Aphordite Goddess of Love and Beauty who just so happens to look like an older version of his best friend Annabeth (Leah) totally unrelated we’re sure.

Then he blinks and the beautiful woman in front of him changes….now she has brown hair and blue eyes she smiles, its Alexandria Daddario movie Annabeth. Just a split second cameo and then she’s gone.

Now a different woman is sitting in front of Percy, a woman with blonde hair and hazel eyes Kristen Stokes Lightning Thief Musical Annabeth. She shifts and changes again.

The final and last woman we see before Percy has curly blonde hair, tanned skin, and stormy grey eyes it’s book Annabeth.

Percy doesn’t realise it but we do. The Goddess of love shows him every version of the girl he loves from every universe he loves her in. It’s beautiful, it’s cinema, it needs to happen.

years ago, someone told me that i couldn't dress up as annabeth chase for world book day because i wasn’t “the right skintone”. 

today, a black girl has been cast to play her in the official disney+ PJO adaptation. 

i don’t even have the words to describe how much this means to me. i don’t have the words. this is monumental.

i am so so happy for all the little black girls who will feel like they can dress up as annabeth on world book day, and i am overjoyed for Leah Jeffries.

i love how chiron had such a good opportunity to be a mentor like dumbledore - always hiding stuff for the ‘greater good’ and all. but he chose to be loving to his campers, and not just wish percy well but actually see to it. i love chiron

Luke was evil but what happened to him was heartbreaking. He was destined to be evil, he lived with a mother that couldn’t really do for him because she went insane because of the power she so desired, and his father just left him. He was dealt a bad hand even before birth. No one could or even want to help him besides Annabeth but by that point it was too late. He already started his journey and sealed his fate. So yeah Luke was evil but he was also a kid. A kid that was scared and abandoned. He didn’t even want to be used by Kronos but he was already in too deep and he was fighting for a cause. I don’t commend Luke in anyway but I understand Luke and feel empathetic for him.

but i dont like that they cast Lin Manuel Miranda as Hermes.

Like he's a good singer and actor in stuff, but at some point people are just casting him to cast him. Like okay, having a cameo, or even just a different part sure, whatever, i don't really care. But Hermes????? Hermes?????

I don't know if it's just me that feels this way, but i just hate the whole feeling of it

tbf i haven't seen the newest episode, so i haven't seen him as Hermes, BUT IT IRKS MY BONES

Why? Because the first time I read the books that’s how I saw her. To the point that when Percy had described her at the end of sea of monsters I was like “wait, who are you”

things I noticed rewatching the pjo premiere episodes:

-percy and grover swap sandwitch ingredients

-rick riordan cameo

-eddie!! gabe's buddy from the books

-sally wiping tears away while percy wakes up in the car (she know he's leaving her)

-percy tricking his mom by tapping her on the far shoulder to make her look the opposite way

-luke saying "see you on the other side" to annabeth - foreshadowing??? (It was foreshadowing in Hamilton!!)

-annabeth must've been so exasperated watching percy floss on that rock

-clarisse's scream as her spear is taken contrasted with the victory cries

annabeth: this seems impertinent
