Crafted of warm flesh and bones, wrapping around the gift of miniature life so fondly in the sway, both scarred, but both beautiful.

“Why… thank you,” the soft voice high above the smaller person boomed and cracked like distant thunder, she spoke briefly, but honestly. “Your cold hands on my skin are like the soft rain, if you’re so fond of metaphor.”
