I wrote this in the span of like, less than two hours between one and three am and I didn’t re read it much afterwards, hoping you guys will like it still !

So I convinced myself that was going to be short ?? Erm anyways, I don’t really do that style usually but I like it, I think it lets me write stuff that don’t require a lot of proof reading and the best wording hehe, I hope you’ll like it <3

So basically we have our twelve moon girls who have been especially busy lately, and a scared reader who doesn’t want to lose them but is too focused on their studies to try to forget what is making them afraid and their girlfriends find them in the middle of a breakdown before they pass out due to exhaustion, but hey don’t worry ! Lots of care is coming :))

This comes in the form of a bulleted scenario !

You had been working all day, no one really noticed what you were doing nor recognized all the efforts you were putting in your studies, you were tired of always being repeated the same thing, that you shouldn’t stress over it, you knew your own worth yet you were convinced you weren’t doing enough, as if there was always more assignments added on the pile of work you were already climbing

Living alone did have some advantages, it helped you concentrate better, you had all the time in the world for yourself and your own priorities, even if that meant reading your notes from classes a thousand time until you knew them by heart, there wasn’t anything to bother you, it was always pretty quiet, maybe a bit too much actually

Secretly, you did wish to have people around, maybe it’d actually be helpful to be reminded to eat or take a break, to be told you were doing great when you thought of yourself as the worst student possible, you seriously just wanted to feel loved and supported through this, when nights would get too quiet, the only thing we could hear were your quiet sobs from the loneliness you felt through your situation

Yes you had people you were supposed to count on, yet you felt like a burden on their shoulders, you were scared, no, terrified, terrified of losing them, terrified of making them leave, terrified to disappoint, terrified to not be as good as they thought of you, making you want to isolate yourself, in case you could get hurt by someone

Weirdly, you were in a relationship with multiple people, but you still felt somewhat alone, not that they weren't loving of course, you blamed it all on yourself, for never being able to let yourself cool down, or struggling to answer their calls, that’s if they actually talked to you

Because having twelve girlfriends was amazing yet saddening, why didn’t you feel more included ?? Well of course they had to all work together, often creating an image of you not being related to them in any way, shape or form, just like an unknown person, as if you didn’t exist

You tried your hardest to not think too hard about it, after all, they were idols and were busy, it’s understandable they couldn’t always be there, you could attempt at convincing yourself it didn’t affect you however the tear in the corner of your eye whenever seeing them all together online without you made your heart ache 

They were usually very present, sometimes knocking at random hours in the night at your apartment’s door, wanting to barge in and cuddle you to sleep, or other days bringing you breakfast, or taking you on a surprise date

and if not there, there was always loads of messages sent, if it wasn’t from the group chat with all of you, it was from some of them individually, enough to warm your heart before heading to class, these girls were the reason you could still stand to this day

Though lately, they had been pretty,, absent, so much that people wondered if you guys had fallen apart since classmates noticed you walking home by yourself instead of being taken somewhere by your lovers, wondering what could had happen to cause this

And truly, you had no idea yourself, barely any news lately, you were starting to think maybe they were purposely avoiding you, or maybe the company had chosen to cut you off, were you bothersome ? Somewhat, you felt as if your presence didn’t matter to them anymore, some would call this assuming things but you’d rather imagining the worst case scenarios than comforting yourself through lies and fake promises

So today, already feeling extra tired, even for a mere Sunday, you didn't even want to check your phone, only for your eyes to meet an empty lock screen, no new messages, just like it had happened the day before, and the day before that, and during the past week, you felt weirdly, empty ?

The strength of getting out of bed was found in the comforting thought that maybe they’d show up to your place at some point throughout the day, you didn’t really believe it would happen but it was better than crying over school like you were about to do

You got out your notes and started working, losing track of time, and your thoughts, who were flying all over the place, you weren’t even able to take a proper break, scared to check your phone to be met by loneliness again, so you chose to work harder, being harsher towards yourself

You were starting to get lost in a spiral of questions, one algebra problem and you were wondering if you were still loved by them, a biology question and you were thinking about dropping everything just then, an english text to read and the sudden urge to give up

You were terribly exhausted, but even greater than that, you could feel a terrible anxious sensation take over your body every time you weren’t focusing completely, as if that little minute of rest would affect your next grades

All of this work and studying was sickening, no one should have to suffer through that, yet you did, maybe it was to prove yourself you were worth something, maybe it was to forget about what was bothering you, maybe it was to convince others you weren’t a failure, maybe it was for someone to say they were proud of you, maybe it was for teachers to not call you stupid, maybe it was to be what you wished to be, you just wanted to be special, at least a little bit

You were scared, shaking slightly, what if you were meant to fail over this, what would you if you were to fuck this up, would anyone even comfort you, did your feelings matter ?

You missed the warmth of their arms, you missed the feeling of them hugging you tightly, you missed hearing them fighting over you as if you meant something, you missed forgetting about what was sad because you could only think of their smile when they were around, you missed them so bad

And what made you even sadder what was had happened a while ago, a few days back then, where you had been trying to get their attention and explain how stressed you felt, and yet the only few responses you had gotten back were so,, detached, so much that you hadn’t been able to open your phone since, scared that you had done something wrong, you just wanted to be understood, no, you needed to feel loved again

While your hand written notes were getting dirtied by tears rolling down your cheeks, you were confused on what was happening, losing the sense of thinking properly, as if the environment around you was starting to disappear

You tried closing your eyes to rest for a split second yet the image of them rejecting you popped in your head and your state immediately worsen, not knowing what to do with your hands, or your head

Anxiously fidgeting with your pen, you tried writing the answer on your homework sheet, scared to not pass that subject for the exam awaiting for you, you did understand everything well, yet felt as if your efforts were worthless, always needing to do more

Without even noticing, your hand started writing down your feelings, you were confused but you couldn’t go against it, you needed a break, something was restraining you though, you thought of yourself of not worthy of getting rest, you thought that working harder would make your girlfriends possibly come back, so you followed your thoughts, letting your hand write down what crossed your mind, from the anxiety you had been feeling to the tears drenching the sheet and the cold feeling of being alone in the dark while the ones you loved were out there probably having a normal day, embracing each other, and of course, without you, who didn’t deserve to be there

A sudden hand on your shoulder brought you back to reality, there stood Yerim, one of your lovely girlfriends, grinning at you before looking at you in disbelief as you watched the others do the same, concerned by the drenched look on your face

You were worried of them finding out what you had written, or that they came here to break up with you, yet you couldn’t form a single sentence even with all the words you wanted to say, when chuu took your face in her hands and asked you if you were okay, you could feel your body lose up a little

A clear sentence was what you wanted to form, but only a sigh came out of your mouth, as tears filled your eyes and suddenly, everything went blank, not a single memory of what had been happening

Time went by

Was it over ?

Was that what they called, the after life ?

Maybe it was your place to be

Still alone

In another life surely

In an all white space with nothing but emptiness was where you found yourself to be

A voice then called your name, going somewhat like this “Y/n.. please don’t leave us princess, we love you so much, stay, do it for us, do it for you, you deserve so much better, we love you”, sounding like an angel mixed with a crying soulmate who had just lost someone, you felt sorry for whoever was that, hearing how heartbroken they seemed to be, “must be talking to someone with the same time as me, even if the voice is low-key familiar”

And weirdly, the white space started to feel warmer, if it was comforting before then now it was a literal paradise, you didn’t wanna get out of it for anything in the world

You closed your eyes for a split second, not knowing why, you just did, as if that would help you remember the sensation you never wanted to forget about

Your eyes opened again but this time, it was in a foggy environment, familiar to your gaze who was trying to figure out what was going on, the warm sensation was still there, even stronger actually, as a sweet scent warmed up your poor heart

That’s when you felt a kiss on your cheek, and it hit you

You looked around and saw you were laying down Hyeju, who had her arms wrapped tightly around you and her face in your neck, a hand holding yours and a protective smile on her face when she met your eyes

You didn’t really understand what happened as she leaned in to kiss you before Jiwoo interrupted the both of you, coming up to you to cuddle your side 

“Y/n !!! baby !! You’re finally awake ! You had us so scared, are you feeling okay ???? I love you !” she then said meanwhile Yerim arrived jumping around before kissing your nose and asking you about your state as well, rubbing little circles on your hand

Hyeju pouted a little bit, not wanting the two girls to take your attention away from her, she made her grip a little stronger, not enough to make you uncomfortable but perfect for you to stay in her embrace for a while, before the others came in

Haseul made you sit up and fed you something she had been cooking with Vivi and Jinsoul just before, wanting you to take your vitamins and stay healthy

“My poor love, what got you so worked up lately ? You know you can always count on us, don’t ever let yourself so down okay ? We love you very much sweetheart, please never forget it” you could almost feel yourself crying at Haseul’s words as Vivi rubbed your back in such a comforting manner

Jungeun then walked in followed by Yves and Yeojin who nearly jumped on you before Yves stopped her, not wanting you to get too shaken up just after such a draining afternoon, and of course, she wanted your attention first

Jungeun took your hand in hers as the others were sort of bickering with each other, Haseul still feeding you, Vivi kissing your forehead from time to time and Jinsoul patting your head repeatedly

“Baby, don’t worry okay ? You’re at our dorm and you’re staying here for a while, we contacted your school and they were fine with you taking as long as you needed to rest” Jungeun said seriously, making you remember what you had been working so hard for

“B-but my exams ??! And my grades, I can’t afford failing and-”

“Baby, it’s a no, you’re resting with us now” Hyeju cut you short, before actually kissing you, making the others whine from her getting your attention more than others

Heejin, Hyunjin and Chaewon then walked in, they were now all complete, and ready to shower you with love, they admitted reading what you had written and promised you to never let you feel that way again, that if they needed to skip practice to take care of you, they 100% would, you still remained their first priority and your health was their main concern at all times

You were a bit shocked at first, wondering if it was even real, but when you saw Yeojin and Yerim fighting for who would get to steal a kiss from you first meanwhile Hyeju stuck out her tongue at them as she held you close to her, your head laying down her chest, you knew you it was true, you realized just how safe you felt around them, maybe you weren’t perfect at all times but they were the right home you needed

You went taking a bubble bath with the kind and caring Chaewon afterwards, to clean the body you hadn’t been taking care of and to get the occasion to cuddle warmly with you in the middle of bubbles, giggling from Chaewon’s lovingness 

“princess, I love you so so much, thank you for staying by our side, please don’t do that to yourself again, I’m so proud of you for who you are, I love you way too much to lose you” she had said, not even making fun of you one bit or commenting on how pathetic you thought you looked, she only wanted the best for her little love

Right after you got out, wrapped in towels, heejin and Hyunjin walked in, offering you a cute pyjama they had bought for you, wanting you to be comfortable, and of course right after changing, you hugged them as hard as you could

You were still tired but you wanted to spend time with everyone for a bit, you understood quickly that you had fainted from exhaustion, and Jinsoul proceeded to explain how they took you to the hospital in concern and that there, they told them to take care of you properly, that it could be dangerous if it were to happen often but that they couldn’t really anything except from giving you better health tips, being interrupted by Hyeju and Yeojin who thought they weren’t helpful at all

Luckily, Vivi and Yves actually had quite a lot of medical knowledge, and even Jiwoo had studied to become a nurse at some point, so they had tried making it the healthiest environment for you to wake up to

They were all around you and you could feel a smile being drawn on your face as you cheeks were heating up from the love you were getting, you finally felt at ease, you were so glad this was behind you, you slowly drifted asleep as they promised to cherish you with all they had, these girls, maybe if sometimes failing some stuff, were the best thing that had ever happened to you, you couldn’t imagine a life without them by your side, and you were glad to be by their side again at the end of the day

The love you got there, what was people called a home

Nothing in the world could separate you guys by now, your relationship stronger than ever, your insecurities and fears being known, they swore to not let you feel bad about yourself again

- kind of has the personality of a trouble maker so she messes a lot with you, always finding new ways to tease you, no matter what the time of the year it is, it's hard to catch a break, and it's harder to hide your flustered expressions from her

"Doll, can you come here a sec, I need something ?" Heejin shouts from the kitchen

"I'm comingggg, so what's up ?" You say while running downstairs

"Can you give me some ingredients that I need, I'm busy cooking and it'd definitely come in handy, I'd need sugar first btw" she asks, not even looking at you yet, barely able to hold in a laugh

"Yes sure give me a sec" you tell her before looking around, trying to find the sugar that is currently sitting on tope of a counter, impossible for you to reach, and of course you catch on her plan pretty quickly

"Oh come on Jin that's not fair !" you pout

"Well I think it's fair enough for me to see cute all cute" Heejin says, her lips almost touching yours, making you stop whining

- Pretty possessive of you, wouldn't it be a shame if other people looked at what she pulled for too long ? Heejin isn't a confrontational person, but everything is different when it comes to you, she knows how cute you are and she's aware people could come a bit too far with you, she'll insist on being with you a lot too, blaming it on the fact that she wants to protect you (which is still true), when she really is just feeling more clingy and jealous just now

- loves to hold you in her arms, you're like the most precious thing ever ?? Cuddles onto you or put her head in your neck, always. Wherever and whenever, she will have you with her, her presence is very reassuring in general so it's really not something you'd tend to complain about, clingy Heejin following you around for a hug, losing patience and back hugging you in public, losing it over how cute you really are

- makes you sit in her lap whenever she's working, it's a must, she just cannot get over how short you are, she loves the sensation of you fitting perfectly in her arms

- loves to bring you on shows or stages and show off how cute you are to her fans, and how you're all hers, wouldn't force you to act cute on purpose whatsoever though, she thinks you're naturally the most adorable person she has ever encountered

- lots of piggy back rides, everything can be an excuse for one ! Too tired ? Heejin will carry you on her back until you're home and safe with her ! Hurt ? Heejin will not hesitate to take you with her and bring you in her bedroom before giving you medicine ! You're whining at her ? Heejin will pick you up and won't let you get down just to make fun of you a lil

- In conclusion, yes we do have such a troublemaker that can get you so pissed yet so flustered in the matter of a few seconds, Heejin can be quite the tease and your height is definitely at her advantage though she knows she would never be able to love someone like she loves you, the most precious being in the world, your relationship is filled with laughs, pouts and most importantly, all the love you could ever wish for :)

Kim Hyunjin

- You lowkey thought she hated you at first ? She can come up as quite cold in your first encounter, especially because you accidentally bumped into her in some random place, the way she looked at you made you shiver, thinking something was about to go down, and you know that from that height of yours, fighting with someone, especially miss Kim Hyunjin, is pretty much impossible

- in reality, Hyunjin is so sweet towards you, you make her smile so hard that she doesn't know how to express it, every little gesture seems like she would be ready to kiss you on the spot, your height only makes her want to be even more affectionate towards you, somewhat turning her softer than she can already be

- lots of hand holding to keep you close to her without having to express herself too much on that matter, she'd rather keep her mouth shut and be subtle about it, making sure you're sticking around her, and that she's the only one who can enjoy your cuteness entirely

- gives you some of her clothes, she literally melts whenever she sees you in them, wear one of her hoodies and she'll come to hug you so tight out of love, too much cuteness of yours making her heart flutter

- expect a lot of teasing, always finding a way to bring up your height no matter what the situation is, and of course she loves acting like she can save you from all height problems, Hyunjin has an ego, we all do, but she's very proud of being taller than you and there's nothing that could make her forget that fact

"That's because you're so short, basketball just isn't made for you angel, unless you had me with you of course !" Hyunjin said, not without winking at you who quickly changed the subject to not give her, once again, the satisfaction of getting angry over her words

- I think she'd love carrying you on her shoulders, as in like, you literally sitting like a little kid being carried by their parent, especially in concerts or crowded places and she'd honestly never let go, everything is an excuse for her to play the hero and make fun of you a bit afterwards

- This girl is pure happiness, from her teasing smile to all the love she offers you, despite coming off as cold sometimes, her presence definitely warm up your cheeks more than you'd want it to do so, Hyunjin is honest and loving, she loves you more than words could express and she'd never be willing to let you go

Park Chaewon

- surprisingly can be very clingy when it comes to you, you're just too cute for her heart to handle that she'll tend to randomly throw you a lot of affection just to see your reaction

- matching clothes is a must !! Her from the adult section, yours from the kid's, taking a bunch of selfies together where she brings you close to her so you can compare heights and she gets to tease you a little bit, you both look like those cute couples everyone is jealous of, her being the "tall" and protective one meanwhile you're the angry and short looking one

- tries to keep an eye on you as much as she can, lowkey jealous but would never openly admit it, she does think that you being so adorable means anyone could steal you from her, and she most definitely doesn't like the thought of that

- not the one that teases the most but definitely laughs at you struggling before giving you a hand, it's not that she wants to make you feel bad but she can have a hard time expressing how your cuteness makes her feel and so she'll resort to a cute laugh and a big grin plastered on her face when seeing you angrily trying to do something with that tiny body of yours

(trying to reach for something that's too high)

"Pfft princess come on try harder" she'd say while looking at you with so much love in her eyes, but of course you'd be too concentrated to notice

"But wonieee :((( just help meeee" you'd whine at her, practically begging for her to do something

"mhh fine, you're just the cutest aren't you ?" she'd say while subtly kissing your cheek before getting whatever you needed from her

- I think your height compared to hers would awake some sort of new confidence inside of her, so much that she would find it way easier to flirt with you, she wouldn't necessarily come up with pickup lines, actually that fresh feeling of being somewhat "superior" would make her say things straight up, and of course you'd stay stunned by her words, Chaewon may not always be the most vocal about her love yet she manages to surprise you whenever you don't expect it one bit

- I think she'd like to treat you like a kid sometimes ? Well only if you were comfortable about it obviously, she just thinks you're the cutest person ever and from her caring persona, it makes her want to baby you

- So here's a literal angel, this girl can drive you insane just by her laughing at you for not being able to do stuff by yourself yet she wouldn't let you take shit from other people, loving you too much to see you get made fun of, she loves taking care of you and will protect you as if you're the only thing that matters in the world, because truly, to that dear Chaewon, you are her whole universe, and even if sometimes she doesn't know how to express it, your relationship is healthy enough to make you feel safe and loved whenever she's around you

Choi Yerim

- the softest girl ever, there's no way you could really express the love that Yerim gives you, it's just incredibly beautiful and so sweet you can feel yourself crying whenever she rambles just about how much she's in love with you

- You being short only makes her grow even kinder towards you, always making sure you're not hurt and that you're feeling okay, protecting you from any potential dangers out there, putting herself in front of you if you're scared, placing her hands on your shoulders and staying right by your side for when you need it, carrying you around if you're tired, Yerim cannot get enough of treating you like a helpless baby sometimes

- Compares you to Yeojin a lot, not in a way to make you feel bad or not good enough, of course not, Yerim wouldn't want to ever make you uncomfortable in the slightest, it's more her way of teasing the both of you, she wouldn't want to make fun of you as in to be mean but she can't help laughing when she sees you all cute, especially when you need something, it gets her all giggly and the smile on her face is so huge you'd swear she could explode at any moment soon

- Cuddles with big spoon Yerim are always super warm, wrapped in a big blanket she has just for you, she'll never set you free from her arms, feeling at best whenever she can have you close to her, always planting kisses all over you before bringing you even closer to her if it's humanly possible, not wanting to lose any kind of contact and touch she can have with you

- matching pyjamas with Yerim, in general I think she'd love to spoil you, but like I can imagine her buying a kid's size for you and bringing it to you for you guys to have a cute sleepover together and for her to take loads of selfies and ramble about how cute you are with her

(opening your front door after hearing a knock)

"Yerim !! I missed you !! What are you doing here oml !" you would squeal out of excitement when seeing her

"Baby you're so cute ! Look I bough you this ! Can you try it on pleaseeee ?" she'd ask, strangely a bit flirty

"Of course ! Come in :D thank you so much for the gift !!" you'd tell her, right before running to your bedroom to get dress and come out finally fully clothed with what she gave you before joining her on the comfy couch

- does treat you like a kid and does it with absolutely no shame, of course she would immediately stop if you told her you were uncomfortable or if she'd notice something off, but other than that, she loves booping your nose and feeding you food, your cuteness just brings out an even softer side of her, making her want to baby you so bad

- The girlfriend we all need, so protective but not in an overwhelming way at all, in a way that makes you feel warm whenever her arms are around you, after she adjusted to your height, and she whispers how much she loves you, lots of kisses and loads of love, your relationship is like a dream come true, and you'd certainly hate to wake up from it

Son Hyeju

- You seriously thought she despised you the first time you met, especially because you bumped straight into her, not expecting some tall person to walk around at night, her eyes piercing yours, you were really wondering if you had done such wrong to her for you to apologize a couple of times, never could you have imagined going out with this oh so attractive yet scary girl

- However, that's exactly what happened, she started hanging around you more often, blaming it on the fact that she was bored and wanting to look after you (which is half true) when truly, she just wanted to stare at your figure in silence, completely dumbfounded by how short you are, and how much you make her heart flutter

- Definitely still does that, getting lost in your beauty while still not being over your cuteness, Hyeju can be such a dork from time to time, often day dreaming about you being with her, you make her feel too much love and that dumbass doesn't know how to express it

- Sometimes has literally no shame, will kiss you in front of people, yes even if she had to make you wrap your legs around her waist in order to reach you, she loves showing off to other people just how cute you can be and how lucky she is, she can tend to be pretty jealous and will not hesitate to show everyone what's hers, lowkey scared someone better could steal you and your cuteness away from her

- Actually clingy when it comes to you, she doesn't really know how to show her love but it just seems to be natural when it's you, whenever she comes across you she feels the urge to take your tiny face in her hands and pepper kisses all over it

- Oh seriously she's the biggest tease out of everyone, there's not a single moment for you to catch a break, there'll always be something for her to laugh about, and the worst thing is that, you do kind of enjoy it, seeing her enjoy herself, even if you have to embarrass yourself in order to see that happen, Hyejoo is such an incredible person that you're kind of let her do whatever makes her happy

"What the hell are you doing Hyejoo hello??" you say, while trying to remove her elbow from the top of your head but with no success

"Mhh oh that ? well you're just a really good place to rest on yknow?" she answers, while giving you that signature smirk of hers

"seriously, not this again" you sigh, but deep down, as much as it annoys you, you know there's no way to win against her, so you kind of let her be and she lets out a satisfied sound before continuing her way, of course not without having her arm around your waist to keep you close

- To conclude for this magnificent girl, as annoying as she can be with her sarcasm and her way of being mean yet one of the most charming people on earth, Hyejoo is actually pretty caring, noticing small things when others don't, small just like your height actually (she would most definitely say something along those lines), she could make fun of you for hours and still be the best girlfriend in the entire world, and someone you'd be willing to spend your whole life with because of how priceless and protective she is, and quite honestly, she would do the same

Im Yeojin

- Never ending arguments about your height, she doesn't want to let you win, if you happen to be slightly taller than her than she would be so grumpy and pissed about it, if you were about the same height then she would act as if she was a bit taller and so was right in any given situations, and if you were to be smaller than her (I acc am help) then she would never let that go

- First meeting you was sort of a shock for Yeojin, finally someone who corresponded to her height spectrum somewhat, not too til and just perfect for her, of course she loves you way more than your physical appearance but you could surely say that your height not only played a role in her confidence but it also did in her feelings

- Yeojin tends to be sarcastic a lot, even a bit mean sometimes, though you're too precious for her to let slip too much out of her mouth when she's with you, helping her control her thoughts before spitting them out loud, everyone says you're the good, or more great (yall are great, I love you all <3) influence that she needs

- Being close in height by being short together often leads to do things that matches together, you love it when she teaches you some of her dances so that you can do it in sync in mathing outfits as well, a powerful cute duo

- Sometimes tries to make little contests with you, to see if she can beat you with her height, playing with someone else would make her blame her loosing on her height, but playing against you seems like a new challenge, and Yeojin is ready to fight it

"Ayo Y/n ? Angel ?" she'd ask you while you were on a date

"Last one reaching the fountain over there has to pay the other ice cream" she'd tell you, expecting you to already accept to participate

"Hmm"

"awe come on say yes" she would whine

"fine fine dumbass" and you'd bother start running

If you were to arrive first, Yeojin would try to find any imaginable things to blame it on, and if she were to win, oh god you would hear about this for weeks

"see how short people cannot do shit, look at you I swear🤨"

"Yeojin you're literally 4"10 ??"

"Hmm what are you saying ? I can't hear you😍"

- You can never catch a break with her though, not only because of her clinginess which never fails to make you smile, but more because of how much she loves teasing you, any occasion given is a perfect occasion for Yeojin, doesn't matter if it's embarrassing, she just can't help but make fun of you a little for making her blush over you being too cute for her poor heart

- Finally, we here have a girl that can be pretty similar to you, such a tease but the cutest on earth (with you ofc), and for that, you can't stay mad at her for a long time, just like she can't resist how adorable you look, you share a strong relationship that relies on such a soft love and filled with loads of dissing each other but knowing well that you cannot live without one another, a power duo you would say

Whining a little as you got out of your father’s car, you asked him for the hundredth time just why was he taking you here. He had stubbornly signed you up for a singing class, something you refused to admit being interested in. It’s not that you hated singing itself, but just the thought of having to speak in front of others was terrifying you, so singing in front of a crowd was definitely not what you wanted to do in the future

You were your parents’ only child, and they cherished you like you were the most precious being on earth. They had always made sure you could explore the many possibilities of life, as well as develop your capacities. Since you were a little kid, they had pushed you to try different sports, as well as play diverse instruments until you would find what you actually liked

You never really disliked that, it was actually a pretty good way to figure out things about yourself, to grasp what you were capable of and where your limits were. Although your parents hated giving up, they had always been pretty understanding of you

When it came to singing though, it was different. Your father had sung in an opera before, and had, countless times, described it to you as the best experience of his entire existence. Meanwhile, your mother had taught you the many lullabies her family had been transmitting, generation after generation. In your parents’ mind, it was clear you were to become a great singer

You never wanted to disappoint them, however, you had never taken any lesson. Being someone who showed great potential in art, your father and mother struggled to understand what was stopping you from exercising your lovely voice. And the truth is, you couldn’t get past that embarrassment you felt at the thought of having to sing in front of individuals

Sure, you could be pretty confident when it came to playing a game of football, or doing perfectly a melody on the piano; though you felt as if singing wasn’t going to work for you. You didn’t quite understand why your parents wanted you to sing so bad, for you, your voice had nothing that stood out from others and you never saw yourself singing that well

So when your mother announced that she had found someone that was offering private singing lessons, she thought it would be an awesome opportunity for you. You wouldn’t have to sing in front of many, just in front of your future professor. Your father was immediately enthusiastic about it, saying it was the ultimate occasion to try and embrace your talent

As for you, you were near horrified. Private singing lessons?? You were already imagining an old man, strict and severe, never letting you rest and putting an obscene amount of pressure on you. You could already feel yourself exhausted, stuck between saving yourself and pleasing your parents

Despite your clear opposition, your parents were stubborn: you were going to try at least one lesson. They declared that judging without trying it first was foolish

And so, you were forced to be here

Entering the building, your father looked for the class where your future teacher was to wait for you. Walking for a little while, you felt your stress going up as you were expecting the worst

Finally arriving at the right door, your father wished you to have a great lesson and left, reminding you to stay polite and to give it a chance

You knocked and waited a few seconds before you were met with what seemed like a dream

The prettiest girl you had ever seen stood there, she seemed to be around your age. You could only assume she was your teacher’s daughter or something like that. Greeting you warmly, she introduced herself as Haseul as she invited you to come in. You couldn’t help but notice how she seemed to be staring at you a little too long, though you couldn’t feel bothered by it, too focused on your anxiety

She asked you for your name and announced that she would be the one coaching you. A little bit taken aback; you smiled awkwardly as you gave her your name. You were going to have to focus while such a lovely individual was going to teach you? God, what were you supposed to do!

“What’s that look for darling?” she asked you, clearly amused by your reaction

“I was just surprised you’re the one who’d give me the lessons, I thought it would be some old hag” you responded, laughing to hide the light blush you could feel on your cheeks

She raised a brow and let out a soft laugh, declaring her lessons would be much more interesting than that. You agreed, knowing well you didn’t have the exact same definition of interesting

The lesson begun as she explained to you the basics, stuff you were already aware of, but you didn’t want to stop her, wanting to let her speak as much as possible so you wouldn’t have to show her your singing anytime soon. She was so beautiful, and her talking about singing so passionately had you smiling without even realizing it

However, she quickly began vocal exercises, so you could warm up before starting the real deal. As you were doing what she was telling you to do, you could feel her eyes not leaving you for even a split second. You tried to not think much of it, maybe she was just a really attentive teacher, even if you hoped it was for another reason

Your nightmare came faster than expected when she asked you to pick a song in the many papers she was showing you. She was quick to reassure you, saying they were songs for beginners and that you surely would have no problem with them. You nodded and picked up a random one, hoping the lesson finish soon

The music began playing as you opened your mouth to mutter the words on your sheet. Your heart was pounding in your chest, sweat on your forehead was forming as you struggled to get the words out. You were most definitely embarrassing yourself, like there was something stopping you from properly singing

When the song ended, you looked away, pretending to stare at the clock even though you didn’t really care about what time it was, you just wanted to disappear

Haseul came behind you.  You didn’t turn around, far too shy to say anything. You felt ridiculous, and ridiculously nervous as well. Why was she so close to you all of a sudden? And why did she smell so good?

There was something weird in the air, the tension between you two was almost solid. You had tried to not let yourself be attracted but what were you supposed to do when she was so close to you, nearly kissing your neck as you could feel her breath caress your face

“You seem so tense darling, what’s the matter?” she asked in that sweet voice of hers

And that name, was she doing all of this on purpose? 

You didn’t know better than to not respond, so she spoke again

“Are you nervous?”

You turned around and admitted that yes, you were, and hated the thought of embarrassing yourself in front of someone

A spark in her eyes, she smiled at you. Taking your hands in hers, her face a few inches away from your face, she told you

“You know, someone like you shouldn’t worry. You have a natural talent when it comes to singing, that’s for sure, we just need to work on it together”

You nodded again, still unable to forget the stress you were feeling and the sweat in your hands

“Still nervous hm? I think I might have a way to make you feel better” she said, clearly staring at your lips. You hoped you were thinking the same thing as her as you closed your eyes.

You responded

“Go ahead then, I’m waiting” You didn’t know where that newfound confidence came from, but while it was there, you sure weren’t going to complain

Pecking your lips a few times before actually kissing you, she let her hands wander around you, bringing you closer to her. She made you feel so good, you were probably even more nervous than before, but that didn’t matter in the moment, all you could focus on was Haseul’s touch

Looking at your flushed face while pulling away, she admitted “You’re so beautiful darling, I know I shouldn’t be saying that, but I hope you’ll get to feel nervous again”

You laughed at her cheesy comment, even though your face was red, and your hair, a little messy, you must had to admit you felt way more comfortable than you did earlier

A few seconds passed before she took your face in her hands, declaring that you were a good singer, and that you were to do great

The music began, and this time, you let your voice out. For a moment, you forgot that embarrassment ever existed, as Haseul was smiling at you cheerfully, clearly proud of herself 

When the song ended, Haseul came close to you again, pressing her forehead against yours

“I told you you could do it” she pecked your lips again, “I’m proud of you” she told you, before asking you if she could kiss you once more, which you agreed to

Your father came to pick you up after your little session with Haseul. He asked you if you had enjoyed your lesson, or if you wangted to cancel the next ones. And you told him that you were going to consider what to do, even if, deep down, you knew very well what you were going to choose

You needed at least a few more kissing lessons

Another one of my favorites muhaha !!

Since you were a little kid, you had always valued the importance of family, especially when it came to spending some quality time with them. For as long as you could remember, you were always out there, bringing your parents on dates and accompanying them to different events they had for work

Which is why exactly you were here at that moment, sat down next to your father, attending an important business conference. You were used to doing that, sometimes catching yourself get interested in the boring monologue of the people that were presenting. You usually spent your time laughing with your dad’s colleagues, who knew you very well as they had been seeing you frequently for years. They were almost like a second family, and considered you like one of them, like you were too, a worker by your father’s side

Time passed by and finally, people were allowed to leave the room. “Thank god” you told yourself, it wasn’t even that uninteresting, you were just too excited for what was coming next: you and your father were invited to a dinner in a fancy restaurant, as well as a few other business partners and their respective relatives

You didn’t know exactly where you were heading as you entered the taxi that had been ordered for you and your dad, but you had heard many compliments about the place you were going to spend the evening at. It was known for its great service, as well as its space. Furthermore, you knew in advance that there was a room reserved for you and the few people that were coming, meaning that you wouldn’t be bothered by others or disturbed by loud noises

You got yourself quickly there. Thanking the driver, you walked towards the inside of the building, your dad following your steps as he had just given the man the money he owned. It was a vast place, cozy but as it was described to you, very wide in terms of space

It didn’t take long before a waiter came to you guys, asking you what could be done for you. As the reservation was being checked, you looked around you, seeing who would be eating at the same table as yours

Leading the way, the server headed upstairs, followed by a dozen of people which included you and your father

The room you had been assigned was beautiful, you didn’t even have the words to describe it. You felt extremely lucky to get to eat in such a place, forever grateful for the close relationship you shared with your family

Seating next to your dad, you watched other people taking their seats. One of the colleagues you knew best, almost like he was your father’s brother, sat in front of you as the others took place around the table. After everyone was sat down, you noticed that there were two empty seats

Of course, as curious as you had always been, you asked the people around if they knew who was going to sit there, or if it was just a mistake

“Ahh yes! It’s one of our new men, him and his child are supposed to join us later. He told me he had a deal to conclude before coming, but I think he just doesn’t want to be around us” your almost uncle winked meanwhile the others laughed

You didn’t even have the time to question it as the main door of the room opened. A tall man and a beautiful girl walked in, greeting each one of you as they sat down; the father next to one of the workers, and who seemed like the daughter, next to you

You couldn’t help but feel a little nervous as she gave you a warm smile. She was significantly pretty, and god, you were praying that this new business partner would stay along for a long while, at least, if it meant meeting his daughter more often

“I’d like for you all to welcome my daughter, Kahei, who will be joining us for today” the new man said

“She’s the only other young one with L/N” one of the colleagues replied, as you and Kahei looked at each other, grinning

“It’s an honour to meet you all” she then said, looking at the others

As the men started to talk about politics, she turned to you. You couldn’t explain why exactly, but there was something suspicious about the way she was eying you, almost like there was something forbidden going on in her mind

Leaning in towards you, she came close to your ear

“You’re quite beautiful miss L/n”

You blushed at her words, which made her smile widen a little

You thanked her as you returned the compliment, trying to keep your composure. Just why was this girl having such an effect on you? 

The waiter then came to take your orders. As you knew your dad was the one paying for you, you chose something that wasn’t too overly expensive. Although your were perfectly fine with the dish you had picked, Kahei spoke

“Add this for L/n, I’ll pay myself” she pointed at that delicious looking meal she had seen you look at earlier. It costed way more than you’d ever let someone pay for

“Oh no it’s fine! You don’t have to” you replied, but she was quick to interrupt you with a finger on your lips

“Oh it’s my pleasure darling, just let me do” she declared, and well, you weren’t going to refuse such an offer!

Time passed by as little talk was made between you and Kahei, as well as the other people present around the table. The conversation just then, was about politics and upcoming elections that were right around the corner. As you were speaking your mind, getting the men to agree with you, you felt something on your thigh 

Trying to ignore it, you finished your point, and your father began speaking, as you looked down on your legs. Kahei had her hand wander there, looking at you to get your approval. As you nodded discreetly, she let her warm hand rest there. Sometimes, she’d remove it, only to put it back later. And quite honestly, you weren’t going to complain as you felt a little more comfortable than you did earlier

Food came in no time and you were amazed with the amount of plates you had in front of you. Forever grateful to miss Kahei, you decided to thank her once more, which she responded to by that shy grin that made her so, desirable 

As the conversation changed to a topic you didn’t bother remembering, you started feeling a little bored. The plates were empty and so was your mind. Your eyes wandered around, looking at Kahei who seemed to be sharing the same feeling as you. You were quickly caught staring by her, which resulted in her looking at you back, deeply in the eyes

Maybe it was what you had drank or maybe it was because of her intoxicating perfume, but when she asked you in a low voice if you wanted to get out, you immediately accepted. Excusing yourselves saying you had to deal with a little problem, you got out of the room

You had always loved these meetings, but there was something much more exciting than sitting at a table waiting for you

Kahei lead you to a smaller room, that seemed to have much more intimacy than the previous one you guys stayed in. Your heartbeat increased as you sat down next to her, waiting for her to say something

“You’re so pretty” she suddenly said, kissing your forehead

“You’re the prettiest” you replied, kissing her hands

“You’re so adorable, makes me want to treat you so good, just to see that smile of yours” she kissed your cheeks as you grinned

“And you’re making me nervous” you admitted, kissing her cheeks back, ghosting over her lips

“And you’re making me want to kiss you” she declared, a glimpse of timidity in her voice

“I’m not going to stop you. Kiss me Kahei, please”

And like it was the most natural thing in the world, like you had been born and went through the entirety of your lives just for this moment, like the world was ending, like nothing else mattered, she grabbed your face and pressed her lips onto yours, kissing you softly. There was something sweet about her movements, gentle and clearly restraining herself, you couldn’t lie and say you disliked it, how come was she so perfect? 

In that very moment, you thanked the world for making you meet the best future “business partner” you could ever wish for ;)
