You and Hyejoo's relationship was nothing out of ordinary, just simple friends reunited by that same passionate way to dance. You both had always assumed the other would always see you as a member of the same group, nothing more than that. That's how things had been going for a while, of course you were somewhat close to each other because of the context, living with someone without interacting with them would be nearly impossible, however your relationship was pretty much limited to those few conversations and rare late-night talks when the others were asleep

It's not that you hated each other or didn't get along well, it was quite the contrary actually, your own members often mistaken you for a couple by the way you looked at each other sometimes without realizing, as if you subconsciously felt attracted to the other’s presence.

You would get lost in her eyes, not even on purpose but naturally your attention was drawn at her. Often lost in thoughts but thoughts you found hard to describe. Pretty warm thoughts, stubborn thoughts refusing to get out of your head, thoughts that would follow you at night, thoughts you found yourself dreaming about, probably more often than they should, they were constantly on your mind

She was constantly on your mind

Her, known world wild as Olivia Hye, familiarly known as Hyejoo and to you she was..,

You didn't even know actually

She was pretty reserved, mostly staying around Chaewon and other members of yyxy. Even if you were part of the same unit as her, you always felt like she had little to no interest in a deeper friendship between the two of you which led to a lot of inner questioning about how she felt about you. Did you ever cross her mind? What kind of thoughts would follow afterwards inside of her head then? Were you a nuisance to her? After all you were a younger member and so the older members tend to give you more attention, as if you needed to be protected. Well, all of them except Hyejoo of course, she didn't seem to dislike you but then again, you weren’t sure of that at all. You both felt like strangers yet close at the same time, simple members but your chemistry went it came to dance was indescribable

Then what made the other members seeing you like that, like both of you were in a relationship. Was it because of the glances she would take at you during practice? You couldn't count all the times it happened but to you it had always appeared almost as a threat in case you would make mistakes. Hyejoo was extremely talented, it's not that you weren't, most people complimented your skills more than once actually, however that didn't stop you from thinking you weren't good enough as a member from time to time

Still, that alone wouldn't be enough to justify all the teasing you lived through daily. You wondered if it wasn't because of that one time, a long while ago, back then you were even shyer but had accepted to play that stupid game of truth or dare. It was known this game could easily have bad tendencies if you weren’t protecting yourself beforehand, and so you had promised yourself to not do anything that would result in you getting hurt.

Thing is, that day, events took a different from what you were expecting, something you had never imagined happening

That something was the beginning of a strange period, where you could feel your cheeks heat up randomly when she was passing by, sometimes finding yourself unable to sleep because you knew she was around, countless time spent scolding yourself for not being careful enough and most importantly, your feelings were becoming clearer as time went by, those events had only pushed yourself further in a helpless love story

Originally, you had accepted to play just to make your friends happy, after all, what could be so bad about a few rounds of a little game. Maybe it could get a bit embarrassing, but nothing here would really matter right? And after all, it wasn’t real, it was just a game, nothing more

A real game, but with real effects which you had sort of forgotten the possibility of

So, when Jinsoul dared Olivia Hye to kiss you, you firstly thought nothing of it, she was a friend and that could’ve been the end of the story, just a kiss and no one would bother talking about it again, an unmeaningful detail in one’s life

However, things didn’t go as planed

Maybe it was just you who wasn’t experienced enough and mistook her behavior for unsaid feeling but for a short while, as she came closer to you, put her hands on your cheeks and pressed her lips against yours, you could not only feel your heart melt, but an overwhelming sensation took over you. You felt as if you had accomplished what was needed to be done, it felt so right

You had actual hope

And when she pulled away, sitting down in front of you just like previously, the game continued like it was supposed to, but your mind didn’t follow. You were shocked, you had barely moved, still trying to process what had just happened. The night went on and you pretended to be having fun with the others when in reality, you only had one thing in mind,,

Sadly, time went by, and you remained with no answers

Since that day, you felt even more scared to talk to Hyejoo, she wasn’t mean nor that intimidating usually, but approaching her felt like an already failed mission. You often wondered how would things have gone if you had been courageous enough to ask her out, simply, you felt yourself giving up

If only you knew

Everyone knew, from the members to some close managers and even other employees from the company because of how obvious it was

Hyejoo cared about you

She didn’t tend to show much affection to people, no matter how close they could possibly be to her, no one seemed to know how to break the barrier she set around herself, no one knew yet you managed to do it without even realizing. She was surprised at first too, how did she let her guard down? Hye didn’t like talking about such cheesy things, but since you seemed like you weren’t going to leave her mind anytime soon, she saw herself asking for her members’ help. She couldn’t help but to feel embarrassed, and yet she couldn’t get enough of that new sensation, you made her feel warm, the simple sight of you made her melt, her heart unbelievably beating fast when you passed by, little things that could seem meaningless alone, however when you put them all together, it was becoming obvious

Adding to that those sudden urges to pull you closer to her when you were both alone, or when she found herself being even quieter than usual around you, which you mistook as something negative when in reality, she just loved hearing you ramble, she could get lost in your eyes and the world seemed to disappear, leaving the both of you together, eyes locked with each other and yet not a word was able to come out of her mouth. As much as she didn’t want to admit it, wanting to keep that independent and confident image, she was scared for things to go wrong

And so, she was forced to tell someone, hiding her love becoming heavier as each day passed, the members weren’t so surprised, as much as she did well at playing the detached role in front of you, they surprised the glances she took at you as well as her hand sneaking up around you without even realizing, as if it was pure instinct. The eleven girls were happy to see their member willing to open up more to them, they kept encouraging her to get closer to you, but with that came a lot of teasing which you were pretty much oblivious to, thinking it was just a stupid joke to get on Hye’s nerves. When it was truly deeper than that, she was in total adoration when it came to you

Everyone knew, except yourself

Hyejoo had fallen for you

And little did everyone else know, you had fallen for her as well

So, what could possibly be stopping the both of you?

The unknown

After all, it was hard for you to tell how she felt towards you, and you couldn’t even think about the possibility of her being stuck in the same position as you. Opposites by personality yet similar in behavior, you were both unsure what to do next, what if things would be ruined from now? Not knowing what’s ahead of you is an indescribable feeling, exciting yet frighting, and still without knowing, you shared a bound that even yourselves couldn’t explain

You were both scared of the unknown, of changing things, it’s not easy to change your little habits, life is so much easier when hiding from your worries instead of facing what’s bothering you. Love was so new to both of you, with that came so much more questions and trouble, were you actually ready for that? Moving forward blindly, having no idea to what will come next, completely clueless

However, Hyejoo started to feel impatient, she wasn’t used to the sensation of losing, she was a fighter, and a winner, she had to win over you somehow, no matter how big the challenge in front of her would be, she would put the effort required to successfully achieve what she needed to. Was it really different this time? It couldn’t be that complicated right?

Still, she did feel nervous, and once again she had to turn towards her members who suggested to start with small steps, just showing herself as kind and caring towards you would be perfect, enough to show a side of hers that didn’t come off as cold or mean. The last thing she wanted was for you to feel hated by her, promising herself to put as much efforts as it would take to win over you

Loona’s next comeback was near, all of you had been practicing like crazy, no matter how sweaty you would end up being, everything had to go as planned and as the youngest, you were terribly frightened by the idea of making a mistake and ruining a stage. And so, you practiced even harder than usually, so much that stress was becoming unbearable

Today was another day like the others, or so you thought. You and the girls had been practicing since early morning and after long hours, waiting for that specific moment, you were finally allowed to come back to the dorm. Yet you felt like you were slacking off too much, you were incredibly stressed, and you had no idea how to deal with it today. While you were busy picking up your thoughts, not paying attention to your surroundings, she was observing you, sensing something was off

She came right behind you, pulling you in a hug as a cozy feeling embraced your body. A little surprised, you felt your cheeks burn up a little, for some reasons, the one and only, Hyejoo, had become much clingier in the past few days, especially towards you. It went from gently holding your hand from time to time to hugging you whenever she had the chance. She wouldn’t say much though, not very expressive yet her gestures meant the world to you. However, you didn’t want to get your hopes up just to feel disappointed again and so you just brushed it off, blaming it on the potential stress she could be going through because of the near comeback. You didn’t want to think about her being potentially interested in you, not wanting to live through a heartbreak especially as such an important time in your career. Though today you felt so tired that you just gave in, letting her sweet yet very discreet scent bring you to heaven, your worries flying away, replaced by a little smile drawn on your face and the desire to stay like this forever

With still her arms wrapped around your body, she picked up your stuff while she already had hers and dragged you towards the dorm. Once outside, she let go of you just to hold your hand, a barely visible blush on her cheeks as you admired her face, quietly enjoying your walk with her as if it was your last. It felt great to not be completely stressing over the comeback for once, this moment was perfect, just the two of you walking in silence with a ton of thoughts in head but no words to express them, the warmth of the sun fondling your face and that cute grin of yours drawn on it. Your heart was surprisingly not beating so fast, you did still feel nervous around her of course, it was natural, especially your hands were touching, a sensation you had been craving from the start, yet you felt comfortable around her. The contact of her hand with yours made you feel reassured, it was her way of cheering you up, without a word coming from her mouth, her eyes seemed to say, “it’ll be fine”. Hyejoo wanted to make you feel safe and little did she know, it was working,

You didn’t even realize time passing, too busy losing yourself in her eyes and when you came at the front door of the dorm, you felt a little bit of disappointment, not wanting to let go of her. You both walked inside and to your surprise, she still held your hand, dragging you to your shared dorm with the other yyxy members that were nowhere to be found, probably off somewhere eating all together or shopping as they loved to do. Not that you didn’t love them, but you were grateful for feeling tired this time, without that, Hyejoo probably wouldn’t have brought you with her and that moment you shared just a few minutes ago that seemed to come right from your dreams would never have happened

As you entered the room, she let go of your hand to put your stuff in a corner of the room as you climbed up on your bed, feeling the accumulated fatigue in your body taking over. Yet you hadn’t said a word, so right before driving off to sleep, you wanted to thank her properly for accompanying you

-Hyejoo unnie? You said her name, barely audible from how exhausted you were

- Hm? You good? she turned around as she was about to leave

- Thank you for today, and yeah, I’m okay, I think I’ll just sleep

And with that she nodded, slightly smiling at you before heading outside of the room, while you laid down, burying yourself under the covers, wanting to recreate the warmth you felt when she was there with no success. Glimpses of what happened today kept replaying in your mind until you doze off, now sleeping soundly

Time went by and you found yourself being pulled out of your nap by a hand resting on your back and a quiet voice calling your name

-Y/n-ah?

You then recognized whose voice it was, it was her, once again

You slowly opened your eyes, expecting the room to be filled with light but strangely you were surrounded by darkness, barely able to see her face. As your eyes adjusted themselves, you realized you must’ve been sleeping for a while since you could hear the others downstairs meaning they were finally back

-mmh unnie what time is it? what’s up? You asked before yawning

-it’s around 9:30pm, we wanted to let you sleep. She said, chuckling at your cute expression

-ah.. and is there something you want? You questioned, still confused from being suddenly woken up

She cleared her throat, as if there was something wrong

-I wanted to know if you were down to come practice with me

At first you felt a bit worried, had you done a mistake? After all it’s true that you were particularly slow today due to the lack of sleep. You obviously couldn’t decline, no matter your state, you wanted her to see you at your best, so you accepted, and with that she pulled you out of bed, dragging you downstairs after picking up 2 bottles of water for you to share

As you walked downstairs, she had an arm around your waist and you couldn’t help but think about how touchy she had become in the past few days, the mere possibility that your feelings weren’t only one-way made you slightly shiver. She, however, seemed perfectly calm as on the inside was ecstatic since you had accepted to accompany her

While you were about to leave, you heard your members whisper as they looked at the both of you in awe, you could barely hear what they were saying but since some were a little bit more excited, they accidentally raised their voice and you could distinguish between the inaudible words; “Y/n”, “couple”, “Hyejoo”, “whipped”. The sudden realization that they were teasing you once again made your face flushed and you rushed outside, saving yourself from embarrassment

Hyejoo chose to ignore them and express her annoyance by a loud sigh before joining you and dragging you in the studio’s direction. Once more you were both silent, not knowing what to tell each other yet it wasn’t awkward, it was far from it, it felt a bit nervous and clumsy from the unknown that awaited in front of you, not knowing who should make a move first, but it was warm, just like a home

Once you were back to the practice room, she put on the music after insisting on watching you dance which made you sweat a little. You were determined to make her impressed despite being completely exhausted from all the previous practices. As the music started, you felt yourself becoming a little confident and you nailed the dance while avoiding looking at the side from where she was admiring you

As soon as you were finished, she went towards you, impressed by your skills

-Not bad kid, she said, making your heart explode with joy from being the first time she genuinely complimented you

And you don’t know why but you suddenly felt a rush of adrenaline, probably due to the excitement you felt by her presence, and you happily jumped in her arms. You then immediately regretted but it was too late already, and to your astonishment, as surprised as she was, she didn’t want to miss her chance. She hugged you tighter, your head pressed against her chest. You had never been that close to her; you could feel your whole face flushing a bit

You had finally done it, you had stepped in the complete unknown of her persona, it could’ve gone wrong, but you still did it and everything was fine, maybe there was no reasons to worry after all

-Y/n-ah, can I be honest with you? She spoke after a few minutes of silence

-Yes of course! Is there something wrong? You asked, feeling a bit tensed

-No, actually, I… really like those moments between us… I wish you would be my girlfriend; she mumbled the last part, yet you managed to hear

You felt your heart pounding loudly in your chest as you looked up to her, a spark in your eyes

-w-wait really? You mentally cursed yourself for stuttering, you felt so nervous

-I mean... yeah, she answered, unsure of what would happen next

Yes, she had technically already stepped out of her comfort zone and had been walking towards an unknown future but this time she had done the bigger step, she had finally admitted her feelings,

-well then, I will! you bluntly said

-w-wait what? it was her turn to be shocked

-I like you Hyejoo, I’ve loved you for so long

You both stared at each other before she asked

-can I kiss you then…?

To which you nodded, and she didn’t hesitate to initiate the kiss, one of her hands resting on your cheek as she pulled your face closer to hers, connecting your lips. To the contact of her mouth on yours, you felt as if a ton of butterflies were in your stomach, it was like a dream come true, what you had wished for during months was finally happening

She finally pulled away, leaving you breathless as she leaned it to press her lips against yours again, she just couldn’t get enough, and you were more than happy to fulfill what the girl you had loved for so long desired

It’s during that night that everything became clear, the fears and worried concerning her and a potential loss of your friendship were now gone. There was no more unknown, completely enlighten by anything but negative stuff. You stayed like that for a while before confessing how you had been feeling and everything you had been through for a while before that day. Finally, you understood Hyejoo’s behavior, she was simply too shy to ask you out but since today you had made a move towards her, she couldn’t help but completely melt and accidentally confess to you, even admitting that this practice was just an excuse. All those nights spent unable to sleep and those overwhelming worries were now in the past, they had all happened for a reason, making you prepared enough to form a couple with her

You both finally returned to the dorm as all the others stared at you two in awe, cheering when Hyejoo kissed your cheek just to get you to react in front of them. While they asked a bunch of questions, you both sat down, your head resting on her shoulder. She started answering them, not wanting to give many details, after all she was still a bit shy about it, not very open on the subject for now. She was glad that after all that time, she could claim you as hers. The 11 other girls congratulated the both of you after a lot of teasing which was expected from them, they were proud to see you grow up happier, promising themselves to protect your newborn relationship at all costs

And you slowly doze off again while Hyejoo held you close, planting soft kisses on the crown of your head.  Though for the first time in who knows who long, you felt satisfied, accomplished even,

it was your turn to have a happy ending now

I wrote this in the span of like, less than two hours between one and three am and I didn’t re read it much afterwards, hoping you guys will like it still !

So I convinced myself that was going to be short ?? Erm anyways, I don’t really do that style usually but I like it, I think it lets me write stuff that don’t require a lot of proof reading and the best wording hehe, I hope you’ll like it <3

So basically we have our twelve moon girls who have been especially busy lately, and a scared reader who doesn’t want to lose them but is too focused on their studies to try to forget what is making them afraid and their girlfriends find them in the middle of a breakdown before they pass out due to exhaustion, but hey don’t worry ! Lots of care is coming :))

This comes in the form of a bulleted scenario !

You had been working all day, no one really noticed what you were doing nor recognized all the efforts you were putting in your studies, you were tired of always being repeated the same thing, that you shouldn’t stress over it, you knew your own worth yet you were convinced you weren’t doing enough, as if there was always more assignments added on the pile of work you were already climbing

Living alone did have some advantages, it helped you concentrate better, you had all the time in the world for yourself and your own priorities, even if that meant reading your notes from classes a thousand time until you knew them by heart, there wasn’t anything to bother you, it was always pretty quiet, maybe a bit too much actually

Secretly, you did wish to have people around, maybe it’d actually be helpful to be reminded to eat or take a break, to be told you were doing great when you thought of yourself as the worst student possible, you seriously just wanted to feel loved and supported through this, when nights would get too quiet, the only thing we could hear were your quiet sobs from the loneliness you felt through your situation

Yes you had people you were supposed to count on, yet you felt like a burden on their shoulders, you were scared, no, terrified, terrified of losing them, terrified of making them leave, terrified to disappoint, terrified to not be as good as they thought of you, making you want to isolate yourself, in case you could get hurt by someone

Weirdly, you were in a relationship with multiple people, but you still felt somewhat alone, not that they weren't loving of course, you blamed it all on yourself, for never being able to let yourself cool down, or struggling to answer their calls, that’s if they actually talked to you

Because having twelve girlfriends was amazing yet saddening, why didn’t you feel more included ?? Well of course they had to all work together, often creating an image of you not being related to them in any way, shape or form, just like an unknown person, as if you didn’t exist

You tried your hardest to not think too hard about it, after all, they were idols and were busy, it’s understandable they couldn’t always be there, you could attempt at convincing yourself it didn’t affect you however the tear in the corner of your eye whenever seeing them all together online without you made your heart ache 

They were usually very present, sometimes knocking at random hours in the night at your apartment’s door, wanting to barge in and cuddle you to sleep, or other days bringing you breakfast, or taking you on a surprise date

and if not there, there was always loads of messages sent, if it wasn’t from the group chat with all of you, it was from some of them individually, enough to warm your heart before heading to class, these girls were the reason you could still stand to this day

Though lately, they had been pretty,, absent, so much that people wondered if you guys had fallen apart since classmates noticed you walking home by yourself instead of being taken somewhere by your lovers, wondering what could had happen to cause this

And truly, you had no idea yourself, barely any news lately, you were starting to think maybe they were purposely avoiding you, or maybe the company had chosen to cut you off, were you bothersome ? Somewhat, you felt as if your presence didn’t matter to them anymore, some would call this assuming things but you’d rather imagining the worst case scenarios than comforting yourself through lies and fake promises

So today, already feeling extra tired, even for a mere Sunday, you didn't even want to check your phone, only for your eyes to meet an empty lock screen, no new messages, just like it had happened the day before, and the day before that, and during the past week, you felt weirdly, empty ?

The strength of getting out of bed was found in the comforting thought that maybe they’d show up to your place at some point throughout the day, you didn’t really believe it would happen but it was better than crying over school like you were about to do

You got out your notes and started working, losing track of time, and your thoughts, who were flying all over the place, you weren’t even able to take a proper break, scared to check your phone to be met by loneliness again, so you chose to work harder, being harsher towards yourself

You were starting to get lost in a spiral of questions, one algebra problem and you were wondering if you were still loved by them, a biology question and you were thinking about dropping everything just then, an english text to read and the sudden urge to give up

You were terribly exhausted, but even greater than that, you could feel a terrible anxious sensation take over your body every time you weren’t focusing completely, as if that little minute of rest would affect your next grades

All of this work and studying was sickening, no one should have to suffer through that, yet you did, maybe it was to prove yourself you were worth something, maybe it was to forget about what was bothering you, maybe it was to convince others you weren’t a failure, maybe it was for someone to say they were proud of you, maybe it was for teachers to not call you stupid, maybe it was to be what you wished to be, you just wanted to be special, at least a little bit

You were scared, shaking slightly, what if you were meant to fail over this, what would you if you were to fuck this up, would anyone even comfort you, did your feelings matter ?

You missed the warmth of their arms, you missed the feeling of them hugging you tightly, you missed hearing them fighting over you as if you meant something, you missed forgetting about what was sad because you could only think of their smile when they were around, you missed them so bad

And what made you even sadder what was had happened a while ago, a few days back then, where you had been trying to get their attention and explain how stressed you felt, and yet the only few responses you had gotten back were so,, detached, so much that you hadn’t been able to open your phone since, scared that you had done something wrong, you just wanted to be understood, no, you needed to feel loved again

While your hand written notes were getting dirtied by tears rolling down your cheeks, you were confused on what was happening, losing the sense of thinking properly, as if the environment around you was starting to disappear

You tried closing your eyes to rest for a split second yet the image of them rejecting you popped in your head and your state immediately worsen, not knowing what to do with your hands, or your head

Anxiously fidgeting with your pen, you tried writing the answer on your homework sheet, scared to not pass that subject for the exam awaiting for you, you did understand everything well, yet felt as if your efforts were worthless, always needing to do more

Without even noticing, your hand started writing down your feelings, you were confused but you couldn’t go against it, you needed a break, something was restraining you though, you thought of yourself of not worthy of getting rest, you thought that working harder would make your girlfriends possibly come back, so you followed your thoughts, letting your hand write down what crossed your mind, from the anxiety you had been feeling to the tears drenching the sheet and the cold feeling of being alone in the dark while the ones you loved were out there probably having a normal day, embracing each other, and of course, without you, who didn’t deserve to be there

A sudden hand on your shoulder brought you back to reality, there stood Yerim, one of your lovely girlfriends, grinning at you before looking at you in disbelief as you watched the others do the same, concerned by the drenched look on your face

You were worried of them finding out what you had written, or that they came here to break up with you, yet you couldn’t form a single sentence even with all the words you wanted to say, when chuu took your face in her hands and asked you if you were okay, you could feel your body lose up a little

A clear sentence was what you wanted to form, but only a sigh came out of your mouth, as tears filled your eyes and suddenly, everything went blank, not a single memory of what had been happening

Time went by

Was it over ?

Was that what they called, the after life ?

Maybe it was your place to be

In an all white space with nothing but emptiness was where you found yourself to be

A voice then called your name, going somewhat like this “Y/n.. please don’t leave us princess, we love you so much, stay, do it for us, do it for you, you deserve so much better, we love you”, sounding like an angel mixed with a crying soulmate who had just lost someone, you felt sorry for whoever was that, hearing how heartbroken they seemed to be, “must be talking to someone with the same time as me, even if the voice is low-key familiar”

And weirdly, the white space started to feel warmer, if it was comforting before then now it was a literal paradise, you didn’t wanna get out of it for anything in the world

You closed your eyes for a split second, not knowing why, you just did, as if that would help you remember the sensation you never wanted to forget about

Your eyes opened again but this time, it was in a foggy environment, familiar to your gaze who was trying to figure out what was going on, the warm sensation was still there, even stronger actually, as a sweet scent warmed up your poor heart

That’s when you felt a kiss on your cheek, and it hit you

You looked around and saw you were laying down Hyeju, who had her arms wrapped tightly around you and her face in your neck, a hand holding yours and a protective smile on her face when she met your eyes

You didn’t really understand what happened as she leaned in to kiss you before Jiwoo interrupted the both of you, coming up to you to cuddle your side 

“Y/n !!! baby !! You’re finally awake ! You had us so scared, are you feeling okay ???? I love you !” she then said meanwhile Yerim arrived jumping around before kissing your nose and asking you about your state as well, rubbing little circles on your hand

Hyeju pouted a little bit, not wanting the two girls to take your attention away from her, she made her grip a little stronger, not enough to make you uncomfortable but perfect for you to stay in her embrace for a while, before the others came in

Haseul made you sit up and fed you something she had been cooking with Vivi and Jinsoul just before, wanting you to take your vitamins and stay healthy

“My poor love, what got you so worked up lately ? You know you can always count on us, don’t ever let yourself so down okay ? We love you very much sweetheart, please never forget it” you could almost feel yourself crying at Haseul’s words as Vivi rubbed your back in such a comforting manner

Jungeun then walked in followed by Yves and Yeojin who nearly jumped on you before Yves stopped her, not wanting you to get too shaken up just after such a draining afternoon, and of course, she wanted your attention first

Jungeun took your hand in hers as the others were sort of bickering with each other, Haseul still feeding you, Vivi kissing your forehead from time to time and Jinsoul patting your head repeatedly

“Baby, don’t worry okay ? You’re at our dorm and you’re staying here for a while, we contacted your school and they were fine with you taking as long as you needed to rest” Jungeun said seriously, making you remember what you had been working so hard for

“B-but my exams ??! And my grades, I can’t afford failing and-”

“Baby, it’s a no, you’re resting with us now” Hyeju cut you short, before actually kissing you, making the others whine from her getting your attention more than others

Heejin, Hyunjin and Chaewon then walked in, they were now all complete, and ready to shower you with love, they admitted reading what you had written and promised you to never let you feel that way again, that if they needed to skip practice to take care of you, they 100% would, you still remained their first priority and your health was their main concern at all times

You were a bit shocked at first, wondering if it was even real, but when you saw Yeojin and Yerim fighting for who would get to steal a kiss from you first meanwhile Hyeju stuck out her tongue at them as she held you close to her, your head laying down her chest, you knew you it was true, you realized just how safe you felt around them, maybe you weren’t perfect at all times but they were the right home you needed

You went taking a bubble bath with the kind and caring Chaewon afterwards, to clean the body you hadn’t been taking care of and to get the occasion to cuddle warmly with you in the middle of bubbles, giggling from Chaewon’s lovingness 

“princess, I love you so so much, thank you for staying by our side, please don’t do that to yourself again, I’m so proud of you for who you are, I love you way too much to lose you” she had said, not even making fun of you one bit or commenting on how pathetic you thought you looked, she only wanted the best for her little love

Right after you got out, wrapped in towels, heejin and Hyunjin walked in, offering you a cute pyjama they had bought for you, wanting you to be comfortable, and of course right after changing, you hugged them as hard as you could

You were still tired but you wanted to spend time with everyone for a bit, you understood quickly that you had fainted from exhaustion, and Jinsoul proceeded to explain how they took you to the hospital in concern and that there, they told them to take care of you properly, that it could be dangerous if it were to happen often but that they couldn’t really anything except from giving you better health tips, being interrupted by Hyeju and Yeojin who thought they weren’t helpful at all

Luckily, Vivi and Yves actually had quite a lot of medical knowledge, and even Jiwoo had studied to become a nurse at some point, so they had tried making it the healthiest environment for you to wake up to

They were all around you and you could feel a smile being drawn on your face as you cheeks were heating up from the love you were getting, you finally felt at ease, you were so glad this was behind you, you slowly drifted asleep as they promised to cherish you with all they had, these girls, maybe if sometimes failing some stuff, were the best thing that had ever happened to you, you couldn’t imagine a life without them by your side, and you were glad to be by their side again at the end of the day

The love you got there, what was people called a home

Nothing in the world could separate you guys by now, your relationship stronger than ever, your insecurities and fears being known, they swore to not let you feel bad about yourself again

I absolutely wanted to write for Yeojin’s birthday and I tried to do as fast as I could hehe ! For our birthday girl (slightly late but technically, her birthday wasn’t over at all when i started this so), I hope you’ll appreciate this work !

Also know that it’s my first soulmate Au soo😭

Im Yeojin, well known idol, cherished by many and recognized for her natural talent, she's a born rising star, and since her debut along with her members, it seemed as if nothing was impossible for her. Between dance practices finished late at night with barely any energy left in her body, voice recording in an angelic tone, lives where she would let herself be a little bit, and overall moments shared between the people forming the group she's apart of, as tiring as it could be, one thing never left her mind through all those moments

It was a blurry thought, sometimes she couldn't even remember it fully, yet it drover her insane how stubborn those words were to stay in her mind for such a long period of time. She couldn't recall when she had first heard them or even when she started to understand the meaning behind it, it felt as if it was just something to be known. Weirdly enough, she didn't know, she didn't grasp the concept of it, people would talk about it as a daily matter, common knowledge for one in this universe, but she was quite confused

The mere explanations went like

"The universe will send you your soulmate when they well be needed, and it will only let them reveal themselves when the time has come that the ones bound together are ready. Those very signs will manifest on both of the people on the day of their birthday, meaning that they will come across on one of the person's special day, presenting themselves as the greatest gift one could ever wish for"

Or something along those lines

"Soulmates huh ?" She often asked herself, losing her mind while looking outside, wondering where that person could be as she was thinking just now, thinking of the odds of even meeting. Yeojin wasn't a particularly patient person, she kept it to herself most of the time though, too embarrassed to even consider mentioning it to her dear friends who only wanted the best for the youngest among them

She was happy already, of course she was, surrounded by the sweetest people the world had to offer as well as mostly kindhearted fans that supported the young one through her hardships and accompanied her for her victories. Though, that alone wasn't enough to stop the growing thoughts of finding the one meant for her, it was appreciated well, she couldn't be more grateful, but the loneliness she felt when she saw everyone accomplishing their lives, all their needs fulfilled by their other half, the feeling made her heart ache, leading to countless sleepless nights, where she wished she had the comfort of one's arms to be at ease

It might be considered foolish to some people, but she had already accepted the truth of being a fool when it came to love, all over heels of a person she hadn't even met yet. Seeing her friends, already engaged or at least, not alone anymore, she felt herself lost in all of this, why couldn't she be like others ? Of course, she wasn't that old, she had plenty of time to dream about her soulmate before they would reveal themselves

However, she wanted to meet her destiny as soon as she could, a kiss what all she wanted. But here, she wasn't thinking of an ordinary kiss, she wanted something meaningful, where a thousand words were waiting to be said while nothing could be pronounced due to to the nervousness she would share with her new found soulmate the day of their meeting. This would be the fresh start of a bound meant to be broken apart by death only, between cute dates, late night talks, hand holding while looking awkwardly at each other, putting trust in one another, inoperable lovers, that's what she was desperately aiming for

Knowing she was supposed to meet fate on a certain birthday of her life, she would always wait for those with such excitement that even her members, who knew her as an energetic and bright person already, would frown, confused about that sudden rush of adrenaline she had when considering the possibility of her first kiss happening that very day. As soon as the date was around the corner, she would jump around, more than usual, getting excited every year and that feeling growing through the years, waiting for the signs to manifest themselves

Talking about those signs, it was different from a person to another, except for meant lovers, who would share the same fate together so the same marks or events were to happen to the both of them. Signs were to show when you had met your soulmate, just like love indicators sort of. In Yeojin's case, she had a heart shaped mark on her wrist. She had no idea what it really meant or where it was from, only remembering that promise she had made to herself when little, she would never give up on finding the one meant for her

The heart was actually a bit particular, it was only half shaped, as if there was a missing piece, that piece would only appear when the soulmate in question would cross the path of the other person, in any way, shape or form. Meaning Yeojin would have to be pretty aware of her surroundings the day of her birthday, not wanting to miss a single chance with her destined half

Im Yeojin had the luck to have another sign possible to announce her soulmate's presence. She had been told that if she were to lock eyes with the other person's eyes, they would both change colours, going from a lifeless grey to their natural colour, the colour that was only meant to be when your future was certain

And by now, the only thing Yeojin could do was wait, days would go by, the day she would usually celebrate with such enthusiasm coming right around the corner. Only, this year, she seemed out of it, as if the thought of that very celebration for herself was too much of a weight on her shoulders. Or maybe was it the fear of being alone forever, she wasn't sure, but the little hope she had left was slowly starting to fade away as she tried her best to keep her cheerful smile on

Today was finally her 19th birthday, the day of the year she would've woke up so cheerfully if it wasn't for the fact that she had given up already. A barely visible grin on her face, she didn't want to ruin the fun of her own celebration, so she tried her hardest to light up the atmosphere around her, even if the negative aura came from herself and not anyone else

She wasn't a typically angry person, well not like, actually feeling anger or disappointment through her body. She was human, of course it was normal to feel that kind of stuff on a daily basis, but that was nothing compared to the loneliness she was feeling, and the killing sensation of not being able to tell others about it, silenced by her own embarassment

The day went by normally, she even studied a bit, trying to keep herself busy to avoid thinking about what was bothering her most, almost like an obsession, which made her feel weirder. The celebration was meant to be later anyways, in the evening to be specific, a live would be done along with the members, she would get gifts, sweets and probably the order of making a proper wish for something she wanted to happen. And like every year, it would be the same words thought in her head, no need to repeat them, we all knew what she desired most

It was in the afternoon, she had played along with her friends, letting them sing her happy birthday as she laughed and had good time around her loved ones before her family wished her the best for her nineteen years as well, which warmed her poor heart that only wanted the affection of the awaited one

However, now she was all alone, the eleven other girls gone to go shop, probably related to the event of tonight, which she wondered how it would feel to spend all together yet alone at the same time, at least in her head. She was bored of it already, no, sick of it, literally, when was her happy ending suppose to happen

"I really wish I could meet you love", she had thought while standing up from the chair she had been sitting on for the past thirty minutes, trying to process everything that was running through her mind, frustrating her even more than before. Grabbing a jacket and her phone, she headed outside of the dorm, wanting to get some fresh air, a sigh falling from her lips

She wasn't sad or anything, seriously, she was simply impatient, she hated the thought of being too attached to a foolish ideas probably made up by older people, but she had to face the truth, she wanted to meet love so bad. She forced herself to try to not care about it too much, only causing it to haunt her mind, following her wherever she would go, either between the walls of her dorm, or when on tour in another country

Walking her way to the nearest park, hands in the pockets of what kept her warm, even if her heart remained tepid, not enough to keep her body under good conditions without clothes, not beating fast enough to keep her focused on something, her mind getting lost as she didn't even know where she was heading to

And that's when she saw you, sitting down an isolated bench in the empty park, only in a hoodie, your head looking at the ground, a barely visible face as your hair covered the side of it, making it hard to observe your tender figure from where she was standing

Weirdly, she felt a rush through her heart, a shiver sent down her spine, something indescribable that the elders had tried to explain to her countless times as she couldn't stop questioning it when she was only a kid. She started to understand what they were talking about when mentioning butterflies, not talking about her dear member, Park Chaewon, represented by a beautiful butterfly, no here we were describing the sensation that kicked the poor Yeojin in the stomach, making it impossible for her to continue her walk

She wasn't sure how to approach you, maybe you were better left alone ? But then again, she didn't want to take the risk of losing what would be considered the most precious person to her eyes soon enough if she would at least attempt to communicate. Hesitating, she didn't know what to do, instinctively looking at her wrist, the sign that she once hated because of how it reminded her of her loneliness, was now glowing a bit. She saw it with her own eyes, the little mark starting to complete itself, a now full heart was freshly marking up her arm, meaning that her dear soulmate was near, and considering how little people was around, it had to be you, she wanted it to be you

So she walked, slowly, trying to process what was happening, wondering if she would even be able to pronounce any kind of words in front of an angel like you, but as nervous as she felt, her heart was beating out of excitement, she was happy, finally her hope came back, she wasn't ready to let go that occasion

"Hi.. um.. hey are you okay ?"

A unfamiliar voice was heard, close enough to you, you understood quickly it was addressed to you. You were wondering just who could ask such a question in the middle of a park, who was willing to worry about someone they didn't even know, so you looked up

And it hit you

A jolt through your heart, your hands trembling, the loneliness you had been feeling till now completely fading away as her eyes met yours, you could even swear her eyes changed when meeting yours, but you couldn't confirm anything because of how strange you felt at that vert moment

You invited her to sit beside you, and the conversation went by smoothly. You immediately recognized her as the idol she was, but didn't make much comments about it, the fact that she was coming to talk to you all alone, you thought she'd like it if you'd see her as her own person and not just the image she would project on stage

She was pretty sweet, distracting you from the earlier worries that were actually the fear of living alone for the rest of your dear life, a destiny you weren't ready to accept. Just like Yeojin, without even knowing, you were in a similar situation concerning your feelings, wishing to find your other half without too much trouble

And what if it was her ?

Through the words shared, you were both too shy to point out the obvious, from the marks on your wrist that completed each other, to the colour of each other's eyes, you were too busy losing yourselves in the gaze of one another

When suddenly, she caressed your cheek with her soft hand, looking at you tenderly

"You know Y/n... I know this might sound crazy but you know what, fuck it, I'm tired of waiting, so Y/n, I think we were meant to meet today, look at our arms, as well as your eyes, they've changed !" She said, completely out of the blue, shy Yeojin was gone, now replaced by a much more confident person, ready to make her other half as flushed as she could make them be

"I don't think you're wrong Yeojin, but... what do we do then ?" You asked, slightly confused, truthfully speaking, you had never thought that this situation would even happen, you had to pinch yourself to prove you were awake, but even with that, you still felt as if it wasn't convincing enough

And with no words coming from her mouth, she took both of your hands in hers, placing them around her own neck before she put her arms around your waist, pulling you closer for the very first kiss you would share

All of this had gone so fast, not far from a 20mins conversation and you were already whipped for one another, not wanting to pull away as your lips were connected together, time seemed to be frozen just like people had described it to you

Sadly, your passionate session had to be interrupted by the arrival of our eleven other moon girls, who cheered for their youngest one, so happy that she had found herself on such a day, a day where she was considering giving up on the idea of meeting the right person

Introductions done, you headed together to Yeojin's dorm, holding hands and not pulling away, intensely looking at one another, not wanting this moment to end. You had been invited to spend the night over at their place, meaning you were also meant to participate in the live they would do, and if you were to be honest, you didn't even feel like complaining, you were happy enough like this, ready to do anything for things to stay that way

The evening had went so well, obviously, as expected, a lot of teasing from the members, but you didn't mind, seriously, you couldn't detach your attention from Yeojin anyways. She looked so beautiful when smiling and giggling like she had been doing so much during the night, sometimes due to how flustered she felt, or other times because she was having a great time. Pecks on your cheeks, on your forehead, on your hands and even on your lips, anything to make the fans react really, it was awesome if you were asked to be honest

Because yes, it had been a while people were asking about her other half, and now that she had met you, you who completed her symbol, and changed the poor colour of her past pale eyes, she wished to show you off to the entire world, so proud of having you as a significant other, the best wish she could've ever asked for

And when she ate the cake, not without making a wish of staying with you for eternity, not hesitating one bit, she insisted on feeding you some, as well as putting icing all over your face, as an excuse to kiss it clean later on. Yeojin could be a little tease but as far as you knew her, you didn't want her to change, she was perfect like that, it had only been a few hours but you felt so comfortable already, remembering what others had said about soulmates

"It's like a spell that you cannot undo, and in the circumstances, it's a spell you wouldn't want to undo, the thought of doing so probably wouldn't even cross your mind if it wasn't for the words I am saying just now, when meeting a soulmate, a minute feels like a thousand years, you understand them the second you look at each other, and it's when you realize that, no matter the length of time between that realization and the first thing you said to one another, it means you're officially meant to be together"

Words you used to find stupid yet you had fallen exactly like described

And now we were later

It was night, you were both curled up in Yeojin's bed, exhausted from the day you had gone through together but oh so glad to have found each other, refusing to pull away, you had struggled putting your pyjamas on before jumping to bed, you didn't feel like letting go of one another

Today was a great day, just as people had described it to her, Yeojin felt as if this was the best day in her entire life, nothing could beat the connection you shared by now, it hadn't been long but it felt like years together

All these birthday wishes had worked actually, those sleepless nights as well as those overwhelming thoughts were meant to be gone now too, only leaving space for love and a brighter future for the both of you

You were both normal people, you being a lonely type of person, who had always felt as something was missing, as if there was a piece of you that was completely out of reach out there. You couldn't express how happy you were feeling just now, so glad that the own wishes you had made yourself once didn't work in the past, just for you to have the best thing ever happen to you now

Before drifting to sleep for once, you looked at Yeojin and whispered

"Hey jin, look outside, the sky is so beautiful right ?" Pointing the window on the wall in front of you

"Nearly not as beautiful as you though" she answered

"You're way too sweet ! But woah look at all the stars !" you said excitedly

"You're seriously adorable, you're like my own star now, ready to shine through a sky we'll build together"

Yeojin wouldn't consider herself much of a flirt necessarily, usually more sarcastic and spending her time getting purposely on the nerves of her oldest friends, yet it came out naturally when it came to you, you truly were special, the brightest person out there

"Then that means you're my star too ! The prettiest one out there too hehe" it was your turn to see her cheeks turn pinkish at your compliment

Looking at her lovingly, something moving caught your attention in the window again

"Oh a shooting star !! Quick ! Make a wish jin"

"Make one too then !" she said

And without needing to say it out loud, you both knew you had wished for the same thing, for you two to build a new universe together as you were the brightest stars out there. With all the little wishes you had done in life, going from "I want to meet the one I'm meant to love" to "I want to fall in love" to "I want to kiss them" or then again to "I want to have a family with them" but also "I want my happy ending to happen one day" and of course "I never want to be apart from my soulmate", you were slowly entering your own little world, with the two of you as creators

Sure thing is that, when your eyes were closing, your head buried in her neck, it was far different from the day before, her heart was warmed up as you couldn't stop smiling, you could only look forward to what would happen next, so grateful that you had found each other, finally ready to build a relationship together

- You lowkey thought she hated you at first ? She can come up as quite cold in your first encounter, especially because you accidentally bumped into her in some random place, the way she looked at you made you shiver, thinking something was about to go down, and you know that from that height of yours, fighting with someone, especially miss Kim Hyunjin, is pretty much impossible

- in reality, Hyunjin is so sweet towards you, you make her smile so hard that she doesn't know how to express it, every little gesture seems like she would be ready to kiss you on the spot, your height only makes her want to be even more affectionate towards you, somewhat turning her softer than she can already be

- To conclude for this magnificent girl, as annoying as she can be with her sarcasm and her way of being mean yet one of the most charming people on earth, Hyejoo is actually pretty caring, noticing small things when others don't, small just like your height actually (she would most definitely say something along those lines), she could make fun of you for hours and still be the best girlfriend in the entire world, and someone you'd be willing to spend your whole life with because of how priceless and protective she is, and quite honestly, she would do the same

Im Yeojin

- Never ending arguments about your height, she doesn't want to let you win, if you happen to be slightly taller than her than she would be so grumpy and pissed about it, if you were about the same height then she would act as if she was a bit taller and so was right in any given situations, and if you were to be smaller than her (I acc am help) then she would never let that go

- First meeting you was sort of a shock for Yeojin, finally someone who corresponded to her height spectrum somewhat, not too til and just perfect for her, of course she loves you way more than your physical appearance but you could surely say that your height not only played a role in her confidence but it also did in her feelings

The couch

First place you went to after arriving in your quiet apartment, not even bothering to check your phone for any new messages or your surroundings, you had one thought in mind, and that was to lay down, close your eyes and forget about this exhausting day

Inherently, it wasn’t that bad, from an outside point of view, people could call this a normal work shift, yet you felt especially drained, strangely it felt like something was off, things weren’t going the way they should be, something was missing, however, you weren’t able to put your finger right on it 

You could’ve sat there and spend time questioning yourself but the urge of falling asleep and finally get the rest you deserved since the very second you stepped into your work place, your thoughts were empty, the environment getting a bit foggy, you walked in your living room and fell right there, on the couch, no idea when you would wake up, it didn’t even bother you if you were to be honest, “later would come later” was your last thought before drifting to sleep

Sooyoung knew you were forgetful, that was what she first thought when she stepped inside your shared place and found you all curled up, not even changed nor in bed, she would’ve loved to stay there and stare at your cute little expressions in adoration yet as much as she hated to disturb your peaceful sleep, she knew she had to wake you up, something important was waiting for you

She would’ve loved to spend the day in bed with you, but she knew, as soon as she woke up, that you were gone already, in a way yes she did feel sad, but on the other hand, as much as she missed the warm sensation of you in her arms, she was glad she had time to prepare everything for when you would come back

She had texted you a few cute little notes throughout the day, you hadn’t answered as you were too concerned with your boss and clients making tons of complains about your company, but she was simply happy to give you the love she thought you deserved. She cherished you so much, she was sad to see you exhausted on a day you were supposed to celebrate, however, she had thought of this before anything else, to avoid dragging out somewhere you wouldn’t like to be at on your special day

You both didn’t like going out much, she would’ve taken you out on a romantic date but seeing your state, she judged it was better to make you food for you to wake up to, and that’s what she did, as quick as she could so that you could both spend as much time as there was left together

It was a quiet evening, just the both of you, one sleeping and the other hesitating to wake her lover up for you to be met by all the presents and love she had to offer

So she chose to get you out of your sleep as softly as she could, patting your head and rubbing your back lovingly, awaiting the moment your eyes would open, which eventually happened

You sat up firstly confused, barely remembering this day, the few memories you had were you sitting in your car, drained from the efforts after work and wanting to get inside your place as soon as you could

And suddenly, you were met by her eyes, a barely noticeable sparkle in them but enough for you to feel reassured, you were glad she was there, you weren’t sure how to explain it, but you just felt like it was necessary for her to be there, and finally, she was !

“Happy birthday love” was the first thing she said to you as you stared at her in disbelief. “Birthday ??” you asked confused as she grinned at you, bringing you closer her to her, “of course ! It’s your birthday babe, don’t you remember ?” You shook your head to her words, today had been so much on your shoulders that you had forgotten about your own birthday 

“Mhh, love are you feeling okay ? Is everything alright ?” You once again shook your head and proceeded to explain to her what had got you so worked up, and apologized for not answering your messages, which she immediately answered that it was fine and that she understood how you feel

If you were feeling exhausted a while ago, now you definitely felt better, so warm just by the way she was smiling at you, it was cliché but you were so in love with her, there was nothing more that you wanted for your birthday than her being by your side

But of course, she had other stuff prepared, wanting to make sure you would spend a comfortable birthday with her. She wasn’t always the most affectionate person nor the type of people to voice her feelings much, so her thoughts were often expressed in the form of little gifts she had found just for you

“Sweetheart ? Please close your eyes, I’ll bring you something I hope will make you smile” She then said, standing up to take a present placed on the nearby table before putting it in your hands, wanting you to guess what it was, you could feel something soft and fluffy, yet you couldn’t manage to guess, which made her giggle

“Open your eyes then” and you then saw two little teddy bears, one white and the other one brown, they both held a heart with your initial and Sooyoung’s written in the middle of it, you were trying hard to not jump out of the couch out of excitation, the fact that she had thought of this just for you made you smile in a way you didn’t even know was possible, you felt at ease finally

“I thought that you know since sometimes, we can’t always be together because of work, I thought we could keep one for each other and hold it when we’re not next to each other to cuddle, what do you think ?” she asked, a bit nervous, she wasn’t used to do that kind of stuff, hell it wasn’t just nervousness, she was so shy at the thought that you would make fun of her for her sudden clinginess 

“Sooyoung.. I don’t even know what to say ! You’re just the best girlfriend ever” you said while wrapping your arms around her neck, attempting to get a hug from her, you two stayed cuddled up for a while until she remembered she had a few other gifts to offer you

By the same process, she made you guess them, overall you had gotten jewelry, chocolate and even matching bow ties, that had similar colours to your teddy bears ! You were melting on the spot, your cheeks warming up from how hard you were smiling at her who was a bit awkward, not used to deal with all this love

Time went by, you ate together while hold each other close, strangely not being able to get enough of each other’s presence. She even insisted on singing happy birthday to you, an angelic voice you’d recognize in thousands, she felt so sweet to be around, without needing to say much, she had made your whole day so much better, that work shift now way behind you

And now in the middle of the evening, you were playing video games together while the cake she had bought for you was already half eaten, laughs filled the room as she lost yet another game to you. To make it up to her and for everything she had done, you chose to go easy on her, not wanting to see her pout, as adorable as it was

You had been playing Mario kart together for a while now, but she insisted to play more, wanting to prove to you how good she was, and even if it was your birthday, you found it somewhat sweet to see her this determined to win for you, words coming from her own mouth, surprising you by her loving manners, one arm pulling you closer as she was holding the controller, desperately trying to win. Sooyoung was like that sometimes, full of surprises, who would’ve thought such an intimidating girl from when you first saw her could be so childish and excited about winning against you, and who thought she would shower you with so many gifts for your special day !

After another game lost (purposely of course) by you, you were distracted by a little sound, a small squeak, you didn’t know where it was coming from but you were sure it wasn’t just out of your pure imagination. You then looked at your girlfriend wondering what was going on, being met by a grin on her face, telling you she had been planning yet another thing

“Can you please close your eyes again love ?” you did as asked before feeling something even softer than the teddy bears in your hands, it was warm, and smelled just like Sooyoung’s perfume, making you want to find out what it was

What was your surprise when you looked only to see a kitten in your arms, and a proud Sooyoung smiling at you, all blushy from seeing you so happy as you squirmed seeing the cute little cat

You remembered mentioning the wish of having a cat once or twice, and Sooyoung had never forgotten that information, she had been looking for that little guy forever, wanting to make sure she had everything right to take care of it as well as the right amount of money to do so, and most importantly, she was a bit impatient to see your reaction, an exciting feeling she only got to feel around you

You were so happy you were at loss for words, you wanted to thank her but no words could come out of your mouth by how excited you felt, she proceeded to pat both you and its head, watching the both of you already so close to each other

“So what will you name it ?” She said, referring to the little animal all black covered except for its tummy, its paws and the tip of its nose, reminding you of the mere snow that was falling outside, remembering when you first met about a year ago, in the middle of snow, pure strangers who weren’t able to look away from each other, and since then, you never left the other’s side

With all that reflexion in mind, you sort of spaced out, well until she caught your attention by asking you the same question again, which you answered simply “How about, snowy ??” 

Sooyoung couldn’t help but grin at your answer, you seemed so proud of yourself, “it’s a cute name, I love it Y/n” she said, before pulling you both closer, the cat resting between the two of you, sitting on your lap as your girlfriend stared at the both of you in adoration, wondering how did she get so lucky

The rest of the evening went by when you both fell asleep watching a movie, her head laying down on your lap, next to snowy’s paws as little snores came out of both of their mouths. You woke up from the tv making a sound, an action scene from the movie came up and now, you surely wouldn’t be able to fall back asleep, especially seeing your girlfriend in that position on you

You thought she would feel surely uncomfortable, so you quickly brought her upstairs, wanting to prevent her from waking up in an awkward position. You placed her on your shared bed and joined in, happy to finally relax after this long day, grateful enough for everything Sooyoung had done for you, as well your snowy, your little cat now sleeping on your pillow, nothing could make you happier

Hi hi hi !! I've been so busy lately sobs </3 but here is a (short) post that I hope can make it up to you all :)) Thank you for being so patient with me ! I have bigger works that I need to finalize ehe ! I hope I can get to write more often ! But that's besides the point ! I hope you enjoy the following story :D

The ceiling above you was getting boring

You have been looking at it for a long time now. It's been, minutes ? Hours ? You don't have a single clue of even what time it is now, the only thing you can clearly understand as of right now, is that no matter how much you wish to fall asleep, you just can't seem to find the strength to close your eyes and drift away to dreamland

Ironic isn't it ? It shouldn't take much to just lay down and let yourself rest, yet, you can't bring yourself to do it, it's like there's something restraining you, and it's getting tighter by each second that passes, so much that you can feel yourself running out of breath, even if you're barely moving in your empty bed. The stress of fighting against the part of you that isn't willing to let your mind rest is tiring you, so much that you can feel a tear caressing your poor cheek

It's cold, a cold breeze that causes you to not be able to stop that shivering manner of yours, a cold breath coming from the thoughts that have been worrying you lately. Why couldn't today be a normal night ? Why did you have to cry today ? That was only draining you more, and yet again, you just couldn't fall asleep

"what to do" is what you kept asking yourself on and on, not knowing how to handle things, how to handle your poor figure sitting down, your hands covering your face from the embarrassment that someone could ever find you in that state

When it comes to scientific manners, the cold is described as in an absence of warmth, and for once, you can say you agree with the boring lessons you have to go through everyday at school. There is something missing, something that would help you get warmer, a whole bunch of blankets wouldn't be enough to compare to the comfort that something gives you, you miss a certain someone

You miss them, you miss their presence, you would do anything just to have them talk to you, you know you shouldn't feel like this, you should be grateful to even have them in your life, but you do feel lonely, you feel like you may not be as important as you've always been to them, you feel as if you're failing, you are scared

Scared of waking up and knowing they're not there anymore, scared of breathing without sharing the same air as them, scared of eating at a restaurant alone, without them to accompany you, scared of loosing yourself through their absence, scared of falling asleep alone, you just cannot do it

It's rather difficult to explain your own feelings sometimes, we're all mysteries after all, even for ourselves, even if we'd like for everything to make sense, it sometimes just doesn't, and it's something we have to learn to accept, or else, we'll always be stuck in a spiral of infernal questions, lost in a crowd of thoughts that can stab right in the heart you at any given moment with no warnings

Life isn't made to always be fair

You miss them so much, but you feel so scared to even look at your phone, and realize that they're once again not texting you, that they're once again busy together, without you, without even thinking of you, you just want them to be there

The people who you keep thinking of are your lovely girlfriends

They are awesome people, truly, though they haven't been very present lately, you are conscious of their tight schedule, yet, you are terrified they don't want to put in efforts in your relationship anymore, you would do anything for them, but would they do everything for you ?

Sooyoung is such a kind girl, she always assures you are feeling safe and the thought of being away from her is genuinely terrifying, because her being there means you being alright, she has a way to make you calm, even if she makes you incredibly nervous. She always looks out for you and defends you no matter what may happen, she loves to bicker with Hyeju about who gets to protect you the most, and you can't help but grin whenever you witness their "fights". Sooyoung feels warm, warm because you know there's always a spot available in her arms, for you to slip in and for you two to stay that way for hours

Jiwoo is your happy place, a sunshine really, she colours the days that are too bland, she brings such a bright energy around her, that just the thought of seeing her makes you smile more than anything else. She clings onto you endlessly, and you would never complain about it, since it makes you feel so loved, making you feel like you matter. When she takes your face in her soft hands and kisses you, you feel at home, you feel like nothing else matters in the world. You feel at ease with Jiwoo, at ease when she brings you close to her and swears that she will never leave your side, her words staying in your mind for days after you and her talk

Chaewon is like an angel, she doesn't need to say much for you to feel at ease, her beautiful self makes you question regularly how lucky you got to be to meet someone as amazing as her. Chaewon is such a loving girlfriend, even when her mouth stays closed for a long while, her lovely glances are comparable to thousands of love letters, she brings you peace when you need it. Life might be a mess sometimes but when Chaewon is around, it feels like paradise is being brought to you, her way of holding your hands, by gently grabbing them and rubbing her thumbs inside of your palms to remind you that she's here, or when she kisses your forehead to help you forget about what's troubling you. Chaewon is peaceful, you find an indescribable source of comfort in her, so much that if things are going wrong, your first reflex is to think of her, and suddenly, things seem to be stable again

Hyeju is not always expressive about her soft feelings, but sure thing is, she is trying to be the best for you, reminding you that she loves you whenever she thinks about it, so that you never forget just how much she cares about you. Even when you get scared to lose her, she'll kiss you on the spot to make you accept the truth that she simply cannot leave your side, she cares about you much more than you could ever imagine. Her protective gaze over you as well as her way to always have you in her arms and the few words she says to express her love for you is enough to make you feel like you matter. With Hyeju, you feel like you belong, because you do, and you will for as long as you desire, because Hyeju promised to never leave you

Thinking about them made you feel a bit of hope again

Suddenly the empty feeling faded a little bit, of course, not at all erased, it's still there, smudging your heart, but at least you get to feel a little better

Missing them so much, you just give up on worrying that you might bother them and you roll over the bed to text them. They obviously won't answer tonight, but at least it'll make you something to wake up to. Wearing Hyeju's hoodie and Sooyoung's sweatpants, you feel a bit warmer remembering it's theirs, giving you just the courage you need to open your phone

Opening your messages, you click on the conversation you share with the four of them, curious of what the new messages they sent are about

"nono, today you're resting baby, stay here okay ?"

And yet you feel so right already, you just, feel, like everything is back to normal, the loves you just cannot get enough of are back, and that dear night that loves to keep you company through the dark is finally gone, letting you enjoy some kinder words from the ones you love, murmurs that remind you of your worth, and of how perfect you are :)

Hands intertwined with hers; you walked in your favorite restaurant, which had always held a special place in your heart, especially as a little kid. Jiwoo had been quick to notice your frowns and yawns earlier today, work had been getting to you a lot, you needed rest

Which is why she took you here, a place that had grown up with the both of you. Living in your hometown had that advantage, you could be reminded of so many memories just by going somewhere ten minutes away from your shared home. The smell, the music, the bowl of candy at the entrance, everything was exactly like you remembered it, it felt so familiar, so warm

Warm just like Jiwoo, a confident hand taking yours, leading the way while following the waitress to your assigned table. She had always been this sweet, even when you were both younger, in your very first dates

She was shyer back then, blushing at your every movement, attempts at flirting were made more often than you could even realize, she always made you feel good. Despite her many acquaintances and her tendencies to befriend any living creature, she had always made sure you know just how much you meant to her, you were the center of each other’s life, like a cozy bed when you most need a nap, you were the person each other wanted, at any given time

Jiwoo has known all along how to please you, how to make you smile, she would never fail to bring you somewhere that would leave your mouth wide open, she needed to make you the happiest, no matter the cost

So, when you came home yesterday, tiredly making your way to the couch where she was sitting, eyes barely open and whining silently, she knew she had to do something about it. Who was she to not take care of you when you were this exhausted ? Immediately carrying you to your bed, she took you in her arms until you doze off

And when you woke up this morning, Jiwoo had already called your workplace, saying that you could not make it today due to feeling ill. Proud of her half-lie, she promised to make today such a good day that you would never want anything other than that,

And god she was right !

The joyful music in the restaurant instantly put you in a cheerful mood, that and your girlfriend’s cheek kisses. Briefly after, you had already ordered your food and had Jiwoo recall many memories you two had made together when younger,

Truly a perfect night

Love was clearly in the air as you got the fuming plate of food in front of you, if you hadn’t felt hungry throughout the day, you definitely were now, and Jiwoo was more than happy about it !

Was it because the place was full of people that you felt so warm or was it because of how close Jiwoo was to you ? You weren’t really sure, and really, it didn’t quite matter as you felt her eyes admiring you, making your heart jolt even though she had always done that, and you had been together for who knows how many months

Nostalgia combined with her gentleness made you nearly tear up, tonight seemed unreal, like it was some sort of fever dream. You felt so out of this world, but for good reasons, feeling like you were floating among the stars, you hadn’t been feeling this relaxed in a long while

Walking out of the place, not without thanking the chef, Jiwoo took both of your hands in hers before leaning in to kiss you, making every minute of today worthy

A beautiful Sunday, in the middle of the afternoon, you were heading for the mall with in mind the new clothes you wanted to buy for yourself. You hadn’t had much time to shop lately, so you were more than happy to take today’s day off as a shopping one, time to spend your well-earned money on the cutest outfits you could find

Once there, you immediately turned to a shop you had always liked a lot, wanting to make sure there would be enough clothes left for you. Entering it, you went to the sweater section, it was already so cold outside, so why not wear one?

Done with that purchase, you attempted to find one of your favorite places, it had many clothing pieces you were tempted to get in the past, today was a good day, a great day even, so there was nothing stopping you from getting those desired clothes!

Another purchase done and you were now heading to another shop that held a special place in your heart. Time passed quickly as you went to check a few more brands and your arms began to feel sore since you were carrying so much ! You decided it was a good time for a little break

Heading to the dining hall, you felt someone eying you, but couldn’t tell from who it was coming from. There were so many people around you, it was nearly impossible to tell if strangers were looking at you or if you were simply paranoid

Lowering the volume of your music, you kept walking until you reached a free table, where you put the bags of clothes you had bought previously today. You sat down for a while, scrolling on social media and answering your friend’s texts. A bit of time passed until you felt like you were being observed again, leading to you looking away from your phone to try and find who seemingly couldn’t take their eyes off you

Your heartbeat increased when you found out who was staring at you, a beautiful girl stood there, blonde hair and a shy smile. A slight blush made its way to her cheeks when she realized you were looking right back at her, turning away to who seemed her friends, she disappeared in the crowd of people around you both

As if she was an angel sent to you, you thought for a second you must had dreamed, there was no way such a mesmerizing girl was (what seemed like it) flushed at the sight of you ?!

Amused and surprised at the same time, you did feel a little disappointed thinking that you would probably never see her again. Though quickly enough, your mind was no longer preoccupied by the pretty girl, as you were too hungry to think properly

Getting yourself sweets at one of the many options you had around you, you came back to your seat only to find a little paper note laying on your table. Picking it up you could read “You are so pretty, I literally cannot stop looking at you, I’m so sorry for seeming embarrassing but I hope the compliment made you smile” in such a lovely handwriting !

She was right clearly, her message had you smiling instantly as you were looking around, trying to find where she could be hiding. Quickly you caught a glimpse of her face, looking at you lovingly, waving at you when she saw you watching her again, right before disappearing through the mass of people that stood over where she was

Determined to find her, you got up once more and started to walk around the dining hall, desperately wanting to at least ask for her number. You could feel your cheeks heat up, clearly, you hadn’t felt like this before, and you didn’t know what to do !!

After long minutes of research, you had to give up, your legs tired from walking all day long. Heading to your seat defeated, your eyes lit up as you saw another paper placed near your food. On this one was written “if you didn’t understand it yet, I’m quite shy, though I would like for us to get to know each other, so here’s my phone number :)” and she signed with what you assumed was her name : “Chaewon”

Looking up to see where she might be this time, you quickly recognized her blowing you a kiss, but this time, heading towards you instead of hiding as you gave her your warmest smile

Maybe you weren’t too tired after all, at least not tired enough to head home yet

Snowday

Enjoy !!

Admiring the snow falling down, you walked around the neighborhood as excited as a puppy. It was the first snow of the year, the official beginning of winter ! As the city was painted in white, your school had decided to close for the day, wanting to keep people from going on the road as it wasn’t very safe to do so since everywhere was covered in slippery powder

Since you had already woken up early, you had decided to go out by yourself, wanting to ease your mind and look at how pretty the world around you looked at that time of the year. You had always loved snow, you can still remember those many hours spent outside as a little kid, building snowmans and making snow angels before rushing inside and wrapping yourself in a warm blanket 

Truly a paradise that was !

And now you had been out for a while, not even recalling how long you had been out, you just felt happier here. In the middle of nature you enjoyed the calm and peace it brought you. You knew you would have to head home sooner or later, having a school project waiting for you, but at least for a few more minutes, you’d stay around

Popping your bubble, you felt your moment get interrupted by a sudden something. Cold and seemingly had hit your head, you wondered what that was about. You weren’t so surprised when seeing your dear best friend, Yerim, grinning at you as she laughed

“Of course she would do that”, you thought. There was no day that would pass without Yerim playing a trick on you, or trying to embarrass you. She had been like that since you were little kids, always insisting on staying by your side, getting a bit jealous whenever your other friends were around. She had that habit of making pranks to people, especially to people she “absolutely adore” (her words, not yours). And not only did she love tricking you, there was one thing she liked even better than that, and that was having you flustered

You had never really understood why, it was just part of your routine after all, and you had pretty much gotten used to it ! Sometimes, you’d let yourself wonder about her more than as friends, but your mind had always stopped you before you could think too far. There was nothing worst than ever loosing Yerim, especially over that kind of stuff..

Greeting her, you hugged her tightly as she had come closer to you. Strangely enough, you always felt warm near her, and the cold was starting to get to you, so why wouldn’t you want to rest in her arms ?

“My loveee !! Hi hi hi !! How are you ?? How long have you been outside alone for ? Y’know you could’ve just knocked at my door and I would’ve came straight away ! I’d never miss an occasion to play with you !!”

She always called you that, her love, it was cute you thought

“I did !! But you didn’t answer the door, your mother told me you were busy, so I went on a walk instead !”

She laughed as you said those words, beginning a story about how crazy her morning had been. As much as you were trying to listen to her, you couldn’t help but focus on her pretty lips. Catching you only after a few seconds, Yerim leaned in, kissing your cheek and giggling as you tried to deny the red look on your face

“Did you really think I wouldn’t see that my love ? You must love me so much to stare at me for that long !”

You nodded in response, unsure of what to say. You did feel nervous around her and god was she so pretty and lovely, but she was also such a great friend, and you weren’t even sure of your feelings. Plus, she was just teasing you, as usual, nothing was ever serious with Yerim

Dragging you by the hand, Yerim brought you to a spot with accumulated snow, “enough to make the prettiest snow angels !” she said with a proud smile.

What you didn’t expect was tripping on the way there, it was so icy that you could barely keep yourself steady. On the ground, you reached out for Yerim’s hand, though instead, she let herself fall on top of you

Closing your eyes in embarrassment, you felt her breath down your neck. Softly opening your eyes, you were met with a slightly different Yerim. She still had that beautiful smile and that positive energy radiating out of her, but the glimpse of mischief in her eyes was gone, replaced by a spark

Inhaling the cold air before speaking, Yerim seemed nervous, for the first time in your life you were seeing your best friend being shy… !

Looking at you in the eyes, she spoke 

“I really want to kiss you right now Y/n”

Making you freeze in place, you felt your face heat up despite how cold it was outside. Seemingly impatient, she asked “Is that wrong to think of ?” 

And maybe it was because you were too tired to think, almost frozen to death, barely breathing, nervous, sweating, scared, excited, unaware of your own feelings, maybe it wasn’t a good idea

Or maybe it was because you loved her

But you leaned in, kissing her like you would never kiss anyone, hoping it would mean something to her

And it did,

It surely did when she pulled away, catching her breath, and pulled you back in, holding you close, apparently enjoying the position she found herself in

Your homework was long forgotten by now, and you couldn’t bring yourself to care about anything other than her lips on yours

What a day !
