Overwatch Recalled: D.Va
Ok, so, I think I’m going to be making a series out of character who are joining the Recalled Overwatch in Overwatch 2 based off of information from Blizzconline. I would have done this as the first one, but after talking about Zarya in my Rein/Brig/Bastion animated short post, I wanted to do her post first. Anyways, D.Va!!!
Hana Song a.k.a. D.Va is a member of MEKA, the Mobile Exo-force of the Korean Army, which is a specifically created military group for fighting the Gwishin Colossus Omnics that will emerge from the East China Sea and attack South Korea. I think that this is really important because D.Va has an important role in protecting South Korea, being the only member of MEKA who has single-handedly taken down Gwishin Omnics, so I found it surprising that she would have joined the Recalled Overwatch so quickly.
I knew that it was going to happen eventually, but I thought it would be a situation like I think Symmetra will be in. I thought that Korea would be attacked by either the Gwishin or maybe Talon, MEKA is called in to fight them, Overwatch shows up and asks them to join, Lucio would probably be key in inviting them since I think that they would already have an established relationship due to celebrity status, but Korea needs the MEKA pilots, so they decide that D.Va joins Overwatch and the rest of the pilots stay in Korea.
But, since D.Va is already confirmed to be a part of the Recalled Overwatch I think that she asked to join when seeing what Overwatch was doing. I would assume that she would contact Lucio to ask if she could join, he would say yes, then she would meet up with them in Toronto, Canada which is going to be a place where I’, pretty sure one of the animated shorts is going to be, or a cutscene.
Anyways, eventually I am going to make a post talking about the rest of the MEKA squad and Dae-hyun Park, but the next post will probably be about either Pharah and Baptiste joining the Recalled Overwatch.
TLDR: I think D.Va will be either invited to join Overwatch or will ask to join Overwatch. If she is invited, it will probably be after fighting by their side during an attack in South Korea. If she does ask to join, she will probably contact Lucio about it and then meet up with them in Toronto.
ALSO: The current Experimental Card is for April Fools Day and it is hilarious! Like Hanzo has scatter arrow again, Mei has like 400 HP, and Zenyatta can fly.
Overwatch Events: April Fools
It’s April Fools and that means that the googly eyes are back. I’m not sure how far back the Overwatch team has done this for, since I started playing Overwatch in December 2019, but on April Fools day all of the Overwatch character get googly eyes. This year, though, the Overwatch team also added googly eyes on the payloads. It’s awesome! I got photos of my favorite characters with googly eyes. Sorry for the quality of the photos.
Also, if you haven’t gotten the Midas Roadhog skin or the Good vs. Evil Echo skin, you have until April 6th to get them. Finally, I’m going to work on my post about an ex-Blackwatch tank and it should hopefully be out soon. Hope you all have a good April Fools! ~ Nova
Overwatch Events: 2021 Halloween
Alright, just a reminder - the 2021 Halloween Event ends tomorrow, November 2nd! You will not be able to get any Halloween Event items until the Anniversary Event in 2022 if you don't get them now.
Overwatch Events: Anniversary Remix Volume 2 - Week 3
Alright, sorry for not posting about the second week of this event, I have a lot going on right now, so I kind of just forgot.
Tomorrow will be the beggining of Week 3 of the Anniversary Remix Volume 2. You will be able to win the Maestro Sigma item set including the icon, emote, and skin. Remember the event will be ending on June 7th, 2022.
Throughout this final week, you can win the following legendary skins(they will be listed in order of my most to least favorite): Hydra Symmetra, Night Owl Ana, Neon Cat Sombra, Noxious Roadhog, Dark Wolf Hanzo, and Poison Dart Lucio.

Analysis of Overwatch 2 Release Date Reveal Video
Alright, I said I was going to make a post analysing the official Release Date Reveal video of Overwatch 2 and here it is! The thing is... I've written so much that I chose to put all of my notes on the video in one document for you all to look at.

Since the document is three pages long, here's a list of what I think the most important things to know are!
Junkerqueen is going to be added as the newest tank. Her weapons are a shotgun and ax. She has a slash ability with her ax and an ability that seems to be like a mix of Reinhardt's charge and Orisa's Javelin Spear.
Charms are going to be added to OW2 based on stills of Cassidy and Lucio who have different charms on their guns, Cassidy's being Hanzo's Sake bottle and Lucio's being a dog.
Characters will be able to inspect their guns/weapons during games based on actions by Cassidy, Doomfist, Lucio, and Symmetra. There also might be taunts based on Orisa doing a thumbs down after killing an enemy Hanzo.
There is probably going to be pack skins added to OW2 based on a still of Tracer, Sojourn, Reinhardt, Baptiste, and Mercy who all have skins that have a very similar white, gray, and orange color scheme.
We get confirmation of the Kanazaka Fox character when we see a blue fox run through Kanazaka, creating a path for Zarya, Hanzo, Genji, and Ana who were following it.
We get to see clearer images of D.Va, Wrecking Ball, Symmetra, and Moira's new base skins.

Overwatch Dating Headcanons!!
Characters: Junkrat, Roadhog, Reaper, and Lucio
Junkrat 💣💥
Junkrat would be a very interesting partner.
He may not know how to show it without being more than his usual self.
When he first asks you out, he’s honestly very nervous. “You know, being a criminal and all!” He would say.
If you say yes, he will be overjoyed.
Literally more hyper than an sugar induced D.Va.
He will give you tiny explosives as a form of showing his love.
Once he gets to know you more, he’ll be even more cuddly than he already would be.
Laying in bed reading? He’ll drape himself over you and try to get you to stop reading. Sitting on the couch? He’s using your legs as a pillow.
PDA will be a 50/50 with him. It depends on the area really.
If he spots at least one person flirting with you, he’s planning on embarrassing them to the extreme. Only to have it backfire and embarrasses himself.
He doesn’t mind much since you comfort him back home about it.
Never will you wake in the same position you fell asleep in.
Roadhog 🥓🪝
Roadhog will be very gentle with you in the long run but at the beginning, he makes it very hard to communicate.
At first he would intimidate you but slowly warms up to you and you to him.
When he asks you out, he’s blunt. No corners, no second guessing. He’ll just ask if you want to see a movie or something.
Once you two are fully dating, he’s more gentle and communicative towards you.
If you’re tired, he’ll pick you up and carry you around. No questions, no nothing.
When you’re cuddling with him, he has one arm wrapped around you comfortably.
If he’s in a teasing mood, he’ll hold you close before tickling you. That’s the most he does to you.
When sleeping, he will have you tucked to his side or on top of him.
Reaper ☠️🦉
This man will honestly try to push you away.
Especially if he knew you liked him before he liked you.
Starting off, he would punish himself by purposefully making you upset.
If that doesn’t work, he’ll simply watch your back for now on. Even though he already was but will deny it if someone asks him about it.
He would be somewhat romantic as his affection for you grows.
Roses on your nightstand, random compliments that seem passive aggressive in a way,
If you agree to date him, he would take you to random places he thinks you’d like based on what he’s observed about you.
At night, whenever you go to bed, he will hold you close and not let go whatsoever. Almost like he’s afraid to loose you.
He definitely would be one to smack your ass as you walk around your shared room and show affection but once you’re outside, he rarely shows it.
His way of protecting you.
He will keep you on top of him as you sleep, listening to you breathe. It soothes him.

This dude will definitely be wholesome in everything he does.
Once he starts to like you, he’ll be head over hills over you.
Always flirting no matter the situation.
Getting shot at? Comes up with some pickup line after saving you with that smirk. Got hurt? He’ll make a joke that Winston would very much approve of.
Once the two of you are dating, he is not afraid to declare it.
He even made a song about the two of you and it’s gotten millions of views.
In public, the most he’ll do is wrap an arm around your waist and kiss your cheek.
In your shared room, he will lay with you on his chest or do the same as Junkrat and use you as a pillow.
Will often fall asleep curled around you somehow.

i already have some silly ideas for this AU !! like, each one of the support heroes would be a different type of medical professional:
Mercy would be the head of surgery and maybe the CEO of the hospital (instead of field medic, and she would still be a nanobiologist)
Lúcio would be a otolaryngologist or a music therapist (duh)
Zenyatta would be a psychiatrist (a funny option for him would be ambulance driver, i took inspo from this silly interaction of him and Rein)
Lifeweaver is a nurse (i don't know what type of doctor suits him, plus he would still be studying biolight :3)
Kiriko would be a paramedic (i based this choice on her ability to teleport to her allies in game)
Ana would be a pediatrician (basically cuz she is the only mom that has experience with kids in the sup role )
Brigitte would be a nurse too or she could do the maintenance of the hospital
Moira would be an Oncologist or a Geneticist (like in canon, plus she would almost be banned from working on the hospital lmfao)
Baptiste would be a general practitioner
since Illari and Juno are the youngest (18 and 19) they would still be in a medical university
and last but not least, I'm adding Symettra as an ophthalmologist since she was a support back in OW 1
(if anyone have suggestions u can tell me and i have no knowledge of how an hospital actually works (sorry for any mistakes), this is just a very silly and funny AU idea after all)
