Bojack Horseman: Media review of the day
Bojack Horseman is a very interesting show originally the show may entice you into believing its a comedy however around the penultimate episode of season 3 you begin to see the story the show is trying to tell. The show is semi-episodic however there are some episodes a completely new viewer would not find enjoyable.
Without giving away any spoilers the shows comedy aspects are top notch and and have high levels of replayability. The show has a very active community who still regularly posts content. The deeper aspects of the show are very realistic and easily make you feel emotions.
I would not recommend this show for someone looking for a comedy or sitcom experience however.
First season: 7/10

Best episodes:
6x 15 or the view from halfway down

3. 5x 6 or the free churro episode.
Overall rating 95/100
5x10 Bojack (horseman, obviously)
When most people look back on season 5 they think of the penultimate episode.(5x11). But Episode 11 acts a part 2 two for episode 10. As Schaffrillas retrospective shows us the penultimates are always a severing of a relationship for Bojack. And some keen viewers might notice Diane is pretty fed up with Bojacks shit, and does dump him.
The episode doesn't have the titular F-bomb however The relationship that is being severed is arguably more important than Gina. Diane has been there from the beginning while Gina feels like a "Wanda 2" of sorts.
As the episode begins, were greeted by Bojack dying on the floor. We are prompted to prepare from a dark episode but the show, but the episode seems fairly light lots of comedy and cute-ish gina moments. sure Bojacks drug habits sneak through the comedic aspects but don't they always.
around 8 minutes in to the episode Diane and Bojack bump into each other in the first time in months. But nothing extreme comes out of it. Until Bojack gives a speech about how being a shitty person is okay because were all shitty. Which Is a direct call out to the viewers, but also really shows how this is still the same Bojack who killed Sarah lynn.
After this speech Diane is rightfully upset with Bojack and fighting peruses. And Bojack is a fucking asshole but I assumed they would mend after Bojack came clean about the "escape from L.A" incident. At least on my first watch through , but than Bojack says he suffered more than Sarah lynn and I want to strangle him. I want Diane to Use the seasons F-bomb I want this to be penultimate of season 5.
Diane says she's done with the relationship But Bojack Doesn't seem to care he has severed his last relationship with someone who would actually help him, He is a lost cause.
The scene is followed by Bojack forcing Bogina into the public eye by making out with her live on camera unconsentually. But Gina responds happily and for a moment you forget about the last scene and you forget about all the shitty things bojack has done and you have hope for Bogina.
And than you remember.
Im going to talk about about the introduction of Mr Jelly's storyline next time because him fucking Diane was not something I expected. (on my first watch through I'm on my like 39th/hj)
Alien Romulus

one very shitty, offensive level stupid movie. it's essentially follows the basic, overdid formula of a team of young dumb kids trying to appear smarter/more bad ass than they aren't. the aliens in this also weren't true to nature. only in a rare occurrence does an entire hive gang up on you like these guys did. thats overkill. just send 2 they can wipe them out by themselves.
here I thought the new Crow movie was the crappiest film of 2024 until this retarded piece of cinematic dog poop was unleashed. avoid it. just pretend it never happened.
just got out of the movie theater - i went to see White Bird and YāALL. it was sososo good. i cried actual tears in the theater. everyone go watch it once it comes out (read the graphic novel first tho)
Wow , i honestly didāt expect to like One Piece movie Red with Uta . I just thought ā fantastic, Japan obsession with idols are actually bleeding into One Piece ā šš I mostly bought it for Sanjiās cute hairstyle .
But the UTA song where banging hard and i loved the credits rolling showing all of Luffyās friends. Lola apparently got married into Bege family and even the guy stuck in the treasure box got himself a girlfriend lol .
Good movie, highly recommended
Avatar 2: Way Of Water
ā ļøNo spoilers ā ļø

Tristan and Isolde

mads mikkelsen as ātristanā in āking arthurā, 2004
Tristan is a prince whose mother is the sister of the King, Mark. Both of his parents died when he was young, and he was raised by Gorvenal to be a gifted swordsman and musician (Tristan became an accomplished harp-player). Isolde, meanwhile, is a princess, the King of Irelandās daughter. She is beautiful and fair-haired and admired far and wide.
Cornwall is bound by fealty to Ireland, which demands that Cornwall send 300 youths and 300 maidens to Ireland as tribute.
However, if a Cornish champion could beat the Irish giant Morholt (the Kingās brother-in-law) in single combat, the King of Ireland agreed that the tribute would not need to be paid.
Tristan defeats Morholt, but is badly wounded with a poisoned spear. He is left on a ship to die. But the ship finds its way to the shores of Ireland, where Tristan is taken into the royal palace. The sorceress queen cures him with an incantation, and Tristan falls in love with Isolde, to whom he reveals his true identity. When she learns that he has killed Morholt, her uncle, she declares her hatred for him, and Tristan returns to Cornwall.
Mark wants to marry Isolde, so he sends Tristan as his ambassador, to bring Isolde back to Cornwall so they can be wed. In Ireland, the wedding agreed, the sorceress queen bids Isolde farewell, but gives a love potion to the maid-servant named Brangien, with instructions to give it to the married couple on their wedding night.
On the voyage to Cornwall, Tristan and Isolde need a drink and both drink the love potion, not realising that it isnāt wine. They promptly fall in love. After the wedding of Mark and Isolde, Brangien ā realising that the error with the love potion is all her fault ā takes the place of Isolde in King Markās bed on the wedding night, to trick the King into thinking she is Isolde. Meanwhile, the real Isolde is in Tristanās arms.
Mark doesnāt realise the deception for a while, although the rumours are all around the court. Eventually, his most loyal barons tell him that Isolde is unfaithful. Although Mark banishes Tristan from the palace, Tristan and Isolde continue to meet in secret. When they are discovered together, they are sentenced to death by burning. However, the lovers escape, and go on the run together.

They go and live as a poor couple in the woods, until one day, King Mark discovers them, walking in on them while theyāre both fast asleep. But when he sees the sword between them and realises the lengths they have gone to in order to guard their love, he feels sorry for them, and replaces the ring on Isoldeās finger as a sign that he forgives her. He also places his sword between them, in place of Tristanās, as a token or gift for his former knight.
When the two lovers wake, they are so moved by the Kingās mercy and kindness that they return to court. Mark welcomes Isolde back, but he tells Tristan he cannot remain at court. He is exiled from Cornwall and goes to live in Brittany, where he marries another woman named Isolde, oddly enough: Isolde of the White Hands, as she is known.
Tristan remains loyal to Isolde and cannot make love to his new wife (Isolde of the White Hands). He is wounded in battle (as before, with a poisoned lance), but this time there is no cure. As he lies dying, he asks one of his companions, Kaherdin, to go and tell Isolde (as in King Markās wife, Tristanās first love) that he is dying and he wants to see her one last time.
Tristan tells Kaherdin to hoist a white sail to his ship if he is successful in locating Isolde, but a black sail if he fails. (Compare this plot detail with the ancient Greek legend of Theseus, too.) Unfortunately, Tristanās wife hears of this plan.
Kaherdin finds Isolde and she agrees to come and see her true lover. However, Isolde of the White Hands, Tristanās wife, lies and tells her husband that she has seen Kaherdinās ship bearing a black sail. Heartbroken, Tristan dies. Isolde arrives with Kaherdin and learns she has missed Tristan, who has already departed this life. She dies of a broken heart shortly afterwards, her lips locked with Tristanās in one last kiss.

just finished watching jenniferās body with my bf. why is megan fox so hot and why canāt my bf admit sheās drop dead gorgeous!!!! i love the first line āhell is a teenage girlā. itās funny because itās true. also wtf is dave from gilmore girls doing here?? so this is why he left stars hollow? to sell a virgins soul for fame?? maybe itās a good thing him and lane werenāt end game or she wouldāve been that soul šš needy and jennifer kissing didnāt feel like it was supposed to be canon. like obviously they have chemistry but i didnāt think whatever happened between them would become canon. anyways i ship them š also fuck chip heās such a little shit. āis it too bigā GET A FUCKING GRIP WE ALL KNOW YOU HAVE A MICRO PENIS. I've seen a lot of people critiquing Lisa and the Creature because their murders are unjustified and petty therefore THEY'RE TERRIBLE CHARACTERS
1) It's a slasher comedy. You're supposed to suspend your disbelief... they're the villains, the story is just told from their perspective
2)"How could the audience ever root for these people?" Lisa is a traumatized girl who had to deal with an axe murderer killing her mother. The real horror of that event isn't even the trauma she experienced. It's how she was treated afterwards that's mind-boggling. Nobody bothered to help her out and she was systemtically punished for not fitting in- which is the reality of many mentally unstable/disabled/traumatized people.
Lisa's struggle is very relatable, she just acts the ultimate fantasy out: she actively kills/is complicit in the murder of those who failed her (and, very symbolically, she often kills them with an axe, the weapon used to kill her mother)
She emotionally relies on the only person who actually cared for her and took time to understand her: the creature.
Are her actions justified? Of course not. None of those people deserved death. It's a revenge fantasy movie. The real victim is Taffy, who inherits Lisa's trauma and grief after her own mother gets murdered. Lisa perpetuates this horrible cycle of abuse, BECAUSE NO ONE CARED TO HELP HER. The world's apathy is the ultimate villain.
I still root and empathize with Lisa because I get it. Bro, I've been abused. When your trauma gets brushed off as an inconvenience by the people who are supposed to cherish you and protect you, you start to understand Lisa's actions.
But as always, the reading comprehension on this site is piss poor. (I DONT PISS ON THE POOR!!!)
Also big W for the diy bottom surgery and death is temporary love is forever. ā”
Watched the Barbie movie recently and finally came to a conclusion on it.
8/10 the Kens didn't even have gay sex.
