Okey, this might be really out there but you know how there's only one actual Sunset Curve song, like og sunset curve, so far? Well, I've found that one of my favourite bands (and my 3rd most listened to artist of this year, whoops) really reminds me of sunset curve. They're called With Confidence. If anyone else, like me, just really wish there were more sunset curve songs, you should check them out. Their songs are a bit more on the deep and dark side though as their main theme seems to be mental health but their music is so incredible, it's really worth a listen.

You know what I want for season 2? An Alex lead singer song. Honestly, Owen's voice is great and if he got the chance I'm convinced he'd blow everyone's minds.

Also, Luke got the whole Unsaid Emily cryfest (I'm still crying... it's been 3 months... I'm almost on Alex's level at this point) and Reggie had his jam so now we're just missing a song for Alex to shine.

I also wouldn't say no to a Alex x Willie duet...

I don't know if I mentioned it in the other post, but the reason I think Sunset Curve and With Confidence are so similar, except for the fact that they're both in pop punk rock kinda genre, is that they're both built on pain. Their songs are about pain but the difference there is that Sunset Curve is coming from a place of hurt and expressing their feelings and hopes for a better future and to fight for their dreams while With Confidence is coming from a place of hurt but they're expressing their feelings as they are; raw and deep.

As someone who has been struggling with mental health issues in the form of anxiety and depression their whole life, this makes me relate to their music and it makes me feel like I have something to keep fighting for.

This post turned kinda sad but I just wanted to say that in case it might help someone else.

I'm thinking too much these days, but if you listen to the lyrics of "You got nothing to lose", there's a line like "Listen to the words a wise man said; he said "Covington, I got an offer that you can't refuse""

This could be a reference to when Caleb first became a ghost and how he got into the whole ghost club scene. How he got the same offer that he's giving the boys from another ghost.

As a firm believer that no one is born evil (some exceptions absolutely do occur), I think there's a lot more to Caleb's character than let's on.

I have two theories as of now.

1. He could be out for revenge. 

This could be his “modified” unfinished business. He could have gotten into the deal himself centuries ago and he’s been looking for someone to pass the deal onto so that he himself can pass on. It might seem selfish but really it’s only human. Self-preservation is the only way to survive, right? Not that Caleb has that problem anymore but you get the point. So really, I don’t think he’s evil in the way he’s perceived.

2. He genuinely thinks what he’s doing is right.

This theory comes from the “no one is born evil” belief. If you think about it, what he’s doing could absolutely, in the right context not seem as terrible. He’s offering the boys a secure way to keep doing music together forever, and be seen by actual people. His motivation methods are extremely wrong but you know, we don’t know how long he’s been dead and his perception of society might be so incredibly ancient that the only way of negotiation he knows of is through violence. But like I said, I don’t think he’s necessarily a bad or evil person. 

So, in conclusion, I don’t think Caleb is the villain we’re all seeing him as. He’s desparate. He’s lonely. He’s probably bored out of his witts to be honest. Imagine playing the same song over and over again. As a musician myself, and performer to some extent (eh, mostly school related concerts), I can absolutely see the joy in performing like that. Hell, I would do anything to get to perform like that. But for all eternity? Come on!

Personally, I think Caleb is just a bit old school and he needs someone to guide him through the improved ways of the world

Just realised something else...

I might be kinda stupid for not realising this sooner but you know the Finally Free performance in the show, right?

In the last chorus when Julie's doing the adlibs, it's ducking Reggie who's singing the melody. I'm crying, Jeremy's voice is so good😭

And that's a high ass freaking melody too, it ain't easy doin, I'll tell you that

I'm a female and I have the vocal chords of a female and holy crap that melody is high for me, so the fact that Jeremy can sing it is really impressive to me

I may be a broken record, but OWEN'S VOICE! I swear to God, Ortega, if you dont give us an Alex solo like Mal's solo If Only in the first Descendants, I'm gonna be VERY disappointed! (don't at me on this cause it's been a while since I watched Descendants and I dont remember the exact story or circumstances behind the song but I just remember liking it a lot so hehe)

I wake up and look at my watch it's already 7.30 Am and I habe to be at work at 8.00 Am. I jump up, run to the bathroom brush my hair and teeth. I quickly throw over my work clothes, grab my purse and Keys and run to my Car. I arive 20 minutes late to work. I begin to work fast. Finally after after 4 hours and 40 minutes I habe a little 10 Minute break, but I forgot my Lunch at home, just great, so I get up get a bag of cookie chips from the vending machine and a cup of coffe, my fourth one this day, then all of sudden I hear Tonys voice, he's a coworker of mine.

T: Hey Stephanie !

I turn to him.

S: Yes ?

He stands by the water with some other male coworkers of mine.

T: You wanna go some were with me ?

I raise my eyebrows.

S: N-no, I actually I don't !

He steps infrot of me.

T: You Bitch don't know what your missing !

He walks past me and bumos into my shoulder and my coffee spills all over my white shirt, I look down pissed , get back to my desk and try to get the coffee of of my shirt but it's not working so I just eat my Cookie Chips and then start working again. At 18 Pm I'm finally free to go so I get my stuff and Walk out of the office. I start walking to the Parkinglot as I want to cross the street a car speed past me and almost Hits me shooked I look after it, it was Tony. I start walking to my Car and sit down and drives home. Finally hone I kick my shoes of an call my boyfriend.

Phone Call

O: Hey babe.

S: Hey can you come over, I had a really bad day and just need cuddles right now.

O: I'm on my way, love you.

S: Love you too.

I hang up, go take a shower and get in my Pyjamas wich include Joggers and one of Owens Hoddies and then the door opens.

O: Hey babe.

It's owen with a bag of Chick-fill-A ( which I actually never had because we don't have one in germany) he gives me a kiss.

O: I got you some Chick-fill-A, a Sprite an all three High school Musical movies.

He puts the stuff on the couch table and hugs me again.

O: Wanna tell me about that bad day ?

We get on the couch and start eating.

J: So first I over slept, then I only had a 10 minute break all day and I forgot my lunch, then I got Cat called by my Coworker, then I spilled my Coffee all over my self and the I was almost hit by a Car

At the end of my Rant we had finished eating. Owen Pulls me into his arms.

O: Ok, that is a really bad day, but I'm here to make it better so ...

We cuddle and watch the first two Movies out of nowhere Owen starts to kiss my neck, I start blushing.

S: What are you doing ?

O: Cheering you Up.

He pulls me onto his Lap.

O: No need to be shy.

I look at him and smile.

S: I love you.

O: I love you mire Stephanie, all of you, your beautyfull blue eyes and your pretty brown hair and just all of you.

I start to blush and look down but he puts his hand under my chin and pushes my head up and kisses me with mire passion I let my hands wander through his blonde locks.

O: Oh I just love you too much to ever loose you.

I know it's not very long. I hope that this is Ok, It is the first request that I ever worked on.

JULIE AND THE PHANTOMS | 1.01 - Wake Up

Can we talk about how much strength Charlie Gillespie has to have to do the part in perfect harmony where he's kneeling, and stands while simultaneously lifting Madi. Like standing gracefully is a thing in its own right, and then lifting someone without the help of momentum while your also lifting yourself up, that requires A LOT of strength and I just...he does it so easily.

Ok so you know how there are a lot of shirts that have the three little ghosts on them, for Alex, Reggie, and Luke. I really want that but like on a beanie, but I can't find anything like that. So if anyone knows where I can find something like that please let me know.

Why is Charlie/Luke wearing red socks in perfect harmony??? I dont get it, was it a mistake!?!? If it was done intentionally can someone explain to me why they had him in red socks.

(Also this is in no way meant to be seen as me bashing the show, or Charlie Gillespie, I am very much obsessed with both of them)

I mean honestly how can you not love her, she's so amazing and talented, and she's only 16!! She deserves more love

Can we talk about the fandom divide on Bobby, like half the fandom is convinced he killed his band mates, and the other half loves him, and he's their favorite character. They really gave us a blank slate and the fandom just wrote in their own version of him, and I love it.

Ok so I dont know if this has been talked about already or is already considered cannon, but I have a theory for why Julie being able to touch them got rid of Caleb's stamp. So we already "know" that the reason Julie can touch the Phantoms is because she's part of their souls, but that still doesn't really explain how it got rid of the stamp. So the stamp allows Caleb to own the phantoms souls, but when Julie becomes part of their souls this is no longer possible. Caleb can not own Julie or her soul, therefore a part of the boys' souls are off limit to him, causing his hold on them to be relinquished. This would also explain why he's now trying to get to Julie(through Nick), Caleb can't control the boys until he controls Julie
