I may be a broken record, but OWEN'S VOICE! I swear to God, Ortega, if you dont give us an Alex solo like Mal's solo If Only in the first Descendants, I'm gonna be VERY disappointed! (don't at me on this cause it's been a while since I watched Descendants and I dont remember the exact story or circumstances behind the song but I just remember liking it a lot so hehe)

on one hand i love malvie but not malvie with their cannon selves, malvie after the movies and mal matures and realizes she was a rlly toxic person and changes and improves herself, making her into the amazing girlfriend evie deserves yknow what i mean?

Yesterday I read the book "Isle of the Lost" for the first time, and I had some questions.
The friendship of the VK in the first film and the book doesn't seem the same. The moment with the journey to Maleficent's castle is, of course, interesting, but I'm not ready to believe that they became friends so quickly. When I watched the first film, it seemed to me that they had been good friends for at least a few years.
They so easily forgot about their pets left on the Isle.
So do the villains live in different houses or in the same one?
What kind of dreams did Ben and Mal have? Some kind of "True Lovers" connection? Do all "True Lovers" have dreams like this? OH NO I THOUGHT ABOUT JANE AND CARLOS' TOO CUTE SCENE I FEEL SAD.
Now, a little bit off the book. Are "True Lovers" like soulmates in this universe?
Why didn't any of the characters listen to Ben? Are they so unimpressed with him as part of the royal family?
I feel so bad for VK's childhood... They should go to a psychologist there, or something. Why aren't there psychologists in this universe?..
I really want more brotherly/sisterly moments between Carlos & Evie and Jay & Mal. But what were those jokes about the Jay and Evie pairing?
For some reason, it seems to me that the characters here aren't sixteen, but two years younger.
not only do i condone Mal’s actions, i actually think she should have been messier. kissed Audrey under the bleachers after the big game, not because she likes her but just for fun and triggered Audrey’s sexuality crisis. went shopping with Lonnie and got her a hardcore punk wardrobe and matching piercings even though it’s their first time hanging out. told Chad she was gonna sleep with his mom and then came up to her during parents’ day while he was stuck playing cricket and winked at him when he caught her eye. faked a very public argument with Evie where they simultaneously imply that they are not romantically involved at all and that they’ve been together for years. proposed a law that they add more days where they change the time so it is four days in increments of 30 minutes now.
Don’t know if anyone else has picked up on this one, but I found another instance of doing things in 3s from the Descendants movies.
In the final song of all 3 films, Ben lifts Mal.
He does it in Set It Off, You And Me, and Break This Down.

On here is the only place I’ll admit it, cause I’ve said weirder on here, but the Descendants movies soundtracks are honestly a vibe to listen to sometimes.
It is a bit of a cringy movie series sometimes.. but some of the music IS pretty good imo
