❧ warnings:gun violence, violence, blood, minor deaths, one sided love

❧pairing: agent!jimin x agent!y/n ft jungkook

❧genre: strangers to lovers

❧au: national intelligence service/agents/bodyguards

summary: Protecting Jungkook as you work for the secret service was a walk in the park, until things change for the worse and a new recruit is assigned as your partner, Agent Dorem.

Agent Emerald

Jeon Jungkook, someone you were all too familiar with.

The name that echoes throughout the room, turns heads from those who are interested in what he’s wearing lately, and gossiping about his dangerously good looks. The country knows Jeon Jungkook as the president’s son and his only child.

Every woman wants him and every man wants to be him, you’re no stranger to Korea’s boyfriend, who is currently standing in front of you in his 2.4 million penthouse with one shirt in each hand. One black, one white, pouting like a lost puppy.

“I have no fucking clue what to wear.”

You scoff at his words as you cross your arms looking at him standing in his grand master bedroom connected to his closet. “Really Jeon? It’s the same shirt but different colors, shades at that. Just pick one before you’re late to class.”

He rolls his big brown doe eyes and sulks back into his walk-in closet like a kid who recently dropped his favorite candy on the floor.

“You would think my own best friend would know the differences between my favorite shirts. One shirt can change a whole outfit. Y/N” He starts to rummage through the rest of his wardrobe.

“Jeon, I am working, and you know better to address me as Agent Emerald, not my legal name.”

Jungkook lets out a loud groan and darts his eyes at you. “Y/N. I’ve known you since you had a disgusting teenage crush on Justin Bieber, you’re always going to be Y/N to me, not Agent Emerald” Quotations are thrown in the air using his hands and his broad nose scrunches up cringing saying your code name.

A hand rest on your nose pinching the bridge as you try your best to keep things professional following protocol, but your oldest friend keeps testing your patience.

Jungkook notices the frustration on your face and his softens.

“Okay, I’m sorry. I know you’re working and my dad made strict rules even though he knows how close we are, but c’mon Y/N. I know this is torture for you too.” His eyebrows wiggle when he speaks his mind, a bunny smile appearing as he walks towards you. “And what’s the big deal we’re the only people in my house right now, loosen up a little.”

A comforting sigh leaves your mouth and you let your shoulders relax. “I know Jungkook. I just have a lot of pressure on me. It has only been a few months since I’ve been assigned to you, and you’re my first job. I’m still a rookie and I don’t want to jeopardize anything.” You look at him with sad eyes.

Truthfully when you first decided at the age of 9 to become an agent and be a part of the national intelligence service or NIS, you were aware that your first job would be small and be an introduction to your work and that a big mission wouldn't be assigned until you at least have 5 years worth of experience. But the shock that traveled through your body as your boss informed you that the president himself requested you as Jungkook’s personal agent was unimaginable.

Of course, it was because you had known Jungkook since you both were pre-teens, being friends for a decade his parents gained an abundance amount of trust in you, but the fact you received one of the most important jobs in the country one year into you being on the workforce gave you unimaginable anxiety.

“I would hardly call it a few months. It has been 11 months since you’ve been assigned to me and 2 years since you’ve been an agent Miss Emerald.” A muscular arm wraps around you and his head rests on your shoulder.

You comply and lay your head softly onto his. Inhaling his shampoo evidence that he’d showered earlier. “I think you’re pretty amazing Y/N, relax a little. Nothing has even happened over these 11 months. If anything you’re getting paid to spend more time with me.” He spins carefully and then strikes a pose. You let out a small chuckle at your childhood friend’s actions.

“Okay okay, you’re right and I hate it when you’re right.” A smile creeps on both of you.

“Exactly, Jeon Jungkook is always right!” Rolling your eyes then quickly gaze over his well-organized closet.

“Oh shut the fuck up and get dressed. Put on that flannel, black Balenciaga shirt, baggy jeans, and your favorite black boots, and let’s go! You’re already late.” Simultaneously you look at your watch. Five minutes before Jungkook's class starts. Then you turn your back and start heading to the front door leaving Jungkook behind. He stands there in disbelief with his tattooed hand covering his mouth dramatically.

“Y/N! You’re a fucking fashion genius!”

Agent Emerald

An obnoxious yawn appears on your side.

Jungkook has his eyes glued to his phone scrolling through yet another fashion website to add more to his already tight-packed closet. His free hand reaches to fix his hair, a cute habit you adored about Jungkook.

His eyebrows furrow as he speaks to let you know what's on his mind. “Sometimes I just want to drop out and live my life as a freeloader.” You smile softly at your best friend’s words. “College is cool and all but the boring days are dreadful and instead of you following me around the campus, you could be following me around Bora Bora or something.”

While telling you his thoughts he raises his phone to your view and shows you a pair of shoes on the website from earlier. You analyze his pick carefully scrunching your nose and shaking your head.

Jungkook nods in response to your answer. “Jeon, You could choose to live in hell and I still would follow you around. Wherever you go I go.” Your face remains expressionless. Jungkook grins cheerfully then raises both of his arms to wrap around your neck giving you a genuine hug.

You both stop walking and you wrap one arm around his waist to return his hug.

Jungkook pulls away with fake sniffles wiping his crocodile tears.

“Y/N you’re so sweet.” He continues his act but gets increasingly louder causing other students on campus to turn their heads at the two of you.

“Am I interrupting something here?”

A towering man approaches the both of you with a warming smile holding two plastic bags in both hands.

Jungkook returns a smile and waves to his first friend he’d made attending college “Taehyung! You just missed one of Y/N’s rare moments of her being sweet to me!”

Taehyung lets out a dramatic gasp and hands you one of the plastic bags. “No way. Y/N being nice? That’s unheard of.” You scoff and roll your eyes at the two boys on each side of you. You look into the bag Taehyung handed and see bakery goods occupying the space.

“Alright alright. I’m not mean guys. I only act stern when I’m working and I basically work 24/7.”

You take a chocolate croissant out and take a big bite. The flavor immediately disperses through your tastebuds and you groan at how good it tastes. You wish that you didn’t skip breakfast this morning.

“On-shift Y/N and Off shift, Y/N are two different people.” Taehyung follows your actions and grabs a slice of pound cake. Jungkook’s shoulders slump hearing his friend's words and glares at you lightly. “Either way she’s still mean to me” Now crossing his arms mimicking an upset child. You chuckle.

A small vibration comes from the left pocket of your sweatpants and you reach for your phone lifting it to your view and tilting your head with a confused face as you see who is calling your phone. Jungkook who took some of Taehyung's pound cake notices your movements “Who is it?” You look over at him and silently debate whether you should tell him. A small sigh comes out of your mouth.

“It’s your father.”

Jungkook’s eyes widen. Stress rushes across his face. “My dad? Why is he calling you?”

You begin to walk away to pick up your phone which seems to be ringing for an eternity gesturing an apology for not responding to Jungkook's questions.

President Jeon has not once ever called you personally in your 12 years of knowing the Jeon family. President Jeon has always been busy ever since you met him. Before his presidency, he was the CEO of his company. Retiring and passing it on to his most trusted worker, which is the sole reason why Jungkook is attending college studying his bachelor's degree in Business Administration to prepare himself as the next heir to the company after the current CEO, who is awaiting Jungkook to be ready so she can retire.

You were yet to be introduced to him until the age of 16, seven years after befriending Jungkook finally meeting him at a family Christmas party which Jungkook’s dad missed years prior. President Jeon was an extremely professional man to the outside world and you, but the more time you spent with the Jeon family you’d notice how even more cold-hearted he is when it would come to his wife and son.

You quickly place your phone onto your ear curiosity spreading through your thoughts on why the President is calling you. “Hello, President Jeon. May I ask-“ Before you could even finish the rest of your sentence the President speaks in a loud but serious tone over the phone nearly piercing your ears. “Agent Emerald. Get my son out of there immediately. He is not safe.” Your eyebrows furrow deeply. “Take Jungkook home now! Keep him safe until you get confirmation from Agent H and only Agent H.”

You spent no time asking questions and your feet rapidly move running towards your best friend with the phone still against your ear. “Yes sir, Jeon is on his way home now.” You hear a sigh from the other line with a lot of commotion in the background. “Agent protect my son, please. Everything will be explained later.” The call ends after and you grab Jungkook’s arm leading him to your car.

Jungkook doesn’t protest waving his friend goodbye and Taehyung goes to class returning a wave with a smile not questioning what had happened as he knows the protocols. “Y/N? What’s going on. Is my dad okay?” Worry fills his brown eyes as they stare at the back of your head aimlessly following and going wherever you go. As you enter your car you swiftly turn your head scanning for any dangers. “I haven’t gotten any information. All I know is that something major happened and that I need to take you home now.” 'You drive off the engine roaring as you press the accelerator.

Jungkook reaches for his phone to check the news.

“What the fuck.”

His jaw visibly drops and freezes with his phone almost slipping through his hands making contact with the car floor.

“What? What happened?” Your eyes focus on the road speeding trying to get to Jungkook’s penthouse.

“The Vice President has been shot. About 20 minutes ago.”

Jungkook places his phone down to hold himself in his arms, tears threatening to spill. “He…He has a family Y/N. What the fuck is happening.” Hands grip tightly on your car wheel knuckles turning ghostly white. You continuously scan the rearview mirror for anyone attempting to harm Jungkook.

Your eyes squint slightly eyeing a suspicious black car that had been following yours closely. “Fuck. Hold on Jungkook.” Jungkook responds quickly holding onto the car bracing himself from your actions. The car roars as you press your pedal to the car floor as you make a sharp right lifting the car onto its two wheels as it tilts and you reach another street trying to avoid the following car. At the same time, you look into your rear view again to see the same car mirroring your movements now increasing its speed towards you.

Jungkook follows your eyes and notices the same car. “Shit shit shit! Are they following us?” Panic overcomes him and his hold becomes more secure. “Yes. Whoever they are, it must be related to the shooting of the Vice President.” You pick up your earpiece and apply it to your ear. The earpiece automatically connects and you speak with volume.

“This is Agent Emerald. I have Golden Jeon with me. A Black BMW 430i is following us. Requesting for backup immediately!”

Jungkook flinches at your raised voice. A female voice appears through your earpiece. “Agent Emerald we already have your location. Backup is on its way.”

Before you could realize it, the black sports car speeds up and appears on your driver’s side. A masked man dressed in black head to toe points a gun toward Jungkook with half of his body outside the car window.

Jungkook ducks immediately and covers his ears out of fear as the unknown man opens fire but the bullets end up ricocheting against your bulletproof windows. Frustrated with the men targeting Jungkook. You turn your wheel harshly towards the small car colliding with the man shooting towards the two of you causing him to get hit and drop his weapon. The masked man goes back in his car showing pain from your action as the driver tries to keep the car stable from your actions. You look back once more to find familiar cars from the national intelligence service and then speed off in your car heading straight not minding the multiple red lights you ran.

Jungkook looks up uncovering his ears. Tears were ridden all over his face. “Wait where are we going? You missed the way to my house.” He lowers his head again holding his head in disbelief. “I just want to go home Y/N. Please take me home.” You try to not react to your friend but as your heart sinks you can’t help but express pity. A hand comes off the wheel as you place your hand on Jungkook’s head. Caressing his locks to comfort him. He relaxes slightly but keeps his position still admitting fear. You don’t turn to look at his eyes focusing on the road as you speak to him softly. “We’re taking a different way. Your home is the safest place to be right now. I promise I’m taking you home and I promise I will keep you safe Jungkook. Trust me.” Jungkook takes your soft hand from the top of his head placing it in between his hands squeezing tightly.

“Ok. I trust you.” He whispered quietly.

You look behind your car once more to see the car long gone and that you’d lost them. Sighing quietly in relief as you drive to Jungkook’s Penthouse. You’ve been Jungkook’s agent for almost a year now and two years since you became an agent. Never had something happened like this to the President, let alone Jungkook. You know this was the sole purpose of your job but thoughts helplessly ran through your mind.

Why is this happening? Why were they trying to assassinate Jungkook? Who were those men?

The rest of the car ride was silent as you didn’t want to spark up a conversation knowing Jungkook was in shock and still in fear of the events happening prior. You drive to Jungkook’s neighborhood approaching the gate slowly littered with police and agents like you. Which had seemed to triple from the news earlier today. You roll down your window showing your badge and Jungkook to gain access and enter the neighborhood.

You park your car in your designated parking spot, quickly exiting your car to go over to Jungkook’s aid. The passenger door opens and Jungkook comes off with heavy footsteps as his legs go weak almost collapsing. You react and catch him before he could make contact with the parking lot floor.

"Jungkook hold onto me."

His muscular arm wraps around your shoulders applying his weight and propping himself onto you. The weight is heavy but thanks to your hard work at the gym you effortlessly support him.

Arriving at his penthouse.

You open the door with a keypad greeted by Bam Jungkook’s large brown Doberman. Jungkook softens and kneels to embrace his guard dog. “Bam I’m so happy to see you, buddy.”

Tears fall again. You walk over to the sobbing boy and rest your hand on his head. “I’m so sorry this is happening to you Jungkook.” Jungkook stands up straight and turns towards you.

This time you wrap your arms around his neck giving him a comforting hug. Jungkook returns your hug and continues to let his tears flow onto your shirt.

“I was so fucking scared Y/N. I didn’t know what to do. When I saw the gunpoint towards me I…I…”

His sentence stops with more sobs and he breathes rapidly trying to control his breathing. You know the start of this action too well. Rubbing his broad back you try to calm him down. “Breathe slowly Jungkook. You’re having a panic attack. Inhale and Exhale slowly.”

Jungkook listens to you and follows your words carefully. Heavy breaths come in and out of his body and slowly Jungkook starts to calm down. You guide him to his couch for him to sit and your phone rings once more.

Reminding you of the earlier events as if it was deja vu. You reach for your phone and look at displaying the contact name Kim Seokjin remembering the President’s words of only getting confirmation from Jin.

Quickly you answer the phone and place it to your ear. “Hello Agent H.”

Agent H is the head of the National Intelligence Service and your boss, being the youngest in NIS history to acquire the head chair at the age of 26 after serving the president as his main agent for 5 years. Seokjin was like the older brother you never had before. He'd had taken you in after you fled you home and raised you to the person you are to day. Jin had grew up protecting the president and naturally became close with Jungkook seeing Jungkook as his own brother, naturally he'd introduce the two to you. His firm voice reaches your ears. “Agent Emerald put your call on speaker, I want Golden Jeon to hear this too.”

As you put the call on speaker you gesture to Jungkook to listen to Jin. Jungkook looks down at your phone and sees Jin’s name on the call. Immediately bombarding him with questions.

“Hyung! What’s going on? Are my parents okay?”

A quiet sigh comes from your phone. “Golden Jeon your father is safe at our headquarters and we are currently sorting things out after the assassination of Vice President Choi.”

Both you and Jungkook freeze. A tense atmosphere clouds Jungkook’s living room. You look over to your right to see your best friend’s red eyes from all the crying threatening to spill more tears and his shaking hands.

“Assassination? Did the Vice President not make it?” You ask carefully not being able to process the news from your boss.

You can imagine vividly Jin rubbing his temples in the stress of not being able to protect the vice president. “Unfortunately no. Vice President Choi died in action 15 minutes after he was shot.”

A heavy feeling overcomes you as Jin continues.

“There is a secret organization targeting the president and anyone in his family. Including Golden Jeon.”

Anger has now filled you. Who are these people? How dare they try to harm the president and your best friend.

Jungkook remains quiet, eyes still wide. “I need you Agent Emerald to prepare to head to HQ and bring Golden Jeon. We will have a meeting and explain everything in great detail. Until then do not and I repeat do not trust anyone you do not know personally. I don’t know who or how, but we have a rat. Be careful.” The call ends finally as it felt like a lifetime.

Jungkook sits in silence to process all his thoughts.

Your eyes graze over Jungkook’s figure. Feeling pity for him you wrap your arms around his body. Rubbing his shoulder softly to let him know you’re there. “Jungkook, I promise you nothing will ever happen to you. Okay?”

Jungkook leans closer to you finding your warmth and scent comforting. “I know, just promise me that you won’t leave me Y/N” He looks into your eyes with sadness. You soften yours and hug him even tighter. “I would never dare to do that to you. I’m always going to be here for you no matter how far we are from each other.” Jungkook lets more tears flow and you both sit holding each other cherishing the small moment of peace you both won’t have in a long time.

Agent Emerald

Arriving at HQ was a nostalgic feeling. Since being assigned to Jungkook, you have hardly ever visited. As the two of you moved through the building, he was near your side. His eyes were compelled to briskly scan his surroundings like those of a lost child, but every so often, he would stop his wandering eyes and remember why he was there.

“Y/N!” You turn your head to the familiar voice calling you from behind to see an old friend. Immediately smiling, you see him walking towards you.

“Yoongi! I haven’t seen you in so long!” You stop your pace for Yoongi to catch up, and Yoongi offers you a firm squeeze to make up for the many months you've been away.

Yoongi is a junior agent working in the same department as you. You two quickly bonded over your many similarities while on the same missions. Other agents liked to joke about how you two were once one person and one day split into two.

Jungkook stands patiently waiting for your small reunion, giving Yoongi a welcoming smile.

Yoongi realizes this which causes a halt in his actions and bows towards Jungkook. “Ah, I’m so sorry. My name is Min Yoongi or Agent Suga. You must be Jean Jungkook.” Yoongi straightens his back and offers a hand to the boy in front of him.

Jungkook takes his hand and shakes it. “No need to bow. I’m not the president so no need for um formalities.” You eye the two, slightly chuckling from your good friends having an awkward encounter. Jungkook glares at you feeling embarrassed and Yoongi giggles at the younger one’s actions. “It’s my job to, don't worry about it and I’m sorry for the current events. I wish we could’ve met with different circumstances.”

As Yoongi finishes his sentence your best friend’s face drops. Quickly noticing Jungkook’s mood change, you nudge Yoongi, who clutches his ribs as he gets the wind knocked out of him. A cough comes from you to change the subject. “How about heading to the meeting. Seokjin doesn’t like people showing up late” Jungkook nods lightly and you spin on your heels to pick back up the path you were following, Jungkook repeats your movements and trails behind you. Yoongi pauses in confusion about why his coworker elbowed him. “Hey! Wait for me!” Seeing the figures of you and Jungkook grow farther and farther he speed walks.

Yoongi catches up to you and comes close to whisper. “Did I say something wrong?” he speaks softly, carefully looking back to Jungkook seeing him keeping his head low while playing with his fingers. You gaze over Jungkook for a moment and your face softens at Jungkook’s obvious nervousness. You turn back to focus on Yoongi. Noticing his eyes showing pity to the younger one. “He’s still shaken up over what happened earlier. It’s better not to remind him about it.” Yoongi nods his head and opens his mouth slightly letting out a quiet oh, showing that he’d now understood Jungkook’s actions.

The three of you slowly come to a stop as you reach the room that held the meeting. You hear a loud sigh from behind you. Before you could turn and console your friend, Yoongi had beaten you and was already patting Jungkook’s back to console him. “It’s okay to be nervous. We’re just having a meeting to discuss things. You don’t have to worry about anything. Y/N and I will protect you.” Yoongi gives Jungkook a reassuring smile as the younger one relaxes a bit. Your heart softens at the sight.

While opening the door you see many familiar faces. Including President Jeon. You and Yoongi quickly bow towards him and Jungkook immediately runs over to his parents. “Son! Thank the lord you’re okay!” Jungkook falls into his mother’s arms. His mother starts sobbing clutching her son never letting him go. “My only son! I don’t know what I would’ve done if you were to get hurt!” Jungkook's mom pulls back to examine her son to see if he'd been injured in any way. Jungkook finally smiles genuinely after what felt like a lifetime. "I'm okay, I'm okay. I was so scared Mom." He let his tears flow once more, feeling relieved to be with his family again. The President sits back and watches the two before a serious man with broad shoulders enters the room.

"So sorry to interrupt your reunion, but we must start the meeting." Everyone listens to Jin's words and sits down around the large table in the center of the room.

Jungkook sits by his mom who now had his hand in hers. You sit in between Jin and Yoongi waiting for Jin to speak once more. "As we're all aware. An assassination occurred earlier this morning regarding the Vice President." You listen attentively, carefully processing your boss' words and waiting for him to continue.

Jin inhales deeply before resuming. "The investigation department has researched as much as they could and found out that they weren't aiming for the vice president. We believe that the proprietor was targeting you, President Jeon."

The President's teeth visibly grit and Jungkook shifts uncomfortably in his seat hearing that his dad was originally the one to be killed.

"Not only you but your family, but specifically Jeon Jungkook."

President Jeon slams his fist on the table. Jungkook stares at you hopelessly while anger overcomes your body.

"My Son?!" Jin sighs at the President's response. "Yes sir, we don't know the motive of this, but we know who is behind it." The President's nose flares out of rage. He sits back down as his wife tries to calm him.

Jin reaches for a folder containing multiple papers and opens it carefully to grab the first page inside and faces it towards the meeting revealing a vivid picture of a built man leaving the crime scene from earlier today. As you lay your eyes on the picture of the man behind the assassination your blood runs cold. Your brain processing his features you know all too well. The features you have yourself. You look away out of disbelief to meet the wide eyes of Jungkook. Jin clears his throat and continues.

"This is Choo Sunghoon. He is well known as a mafia leader feared by many, one of the most violent criminal organizations in operation. Leading the Choo Mafia recognized as the most powerful Mafia consists of about 570 made members. We believe he is the one conspiring against the President." You look at Jin with furrowed eyebrows and see his stern expression unfazed. It can't be. Why him out of all people. Choo Sunghoon. Your own father.

Growing up your dad never hid his antics from you. Your earliest memory is of him brutally beating one of his members to death. He had no shame showing you the crimes he'd done, he raised you to be a killer telling you it was to protect your sister Sejeong. He had high expectations for you to be his right-hand man and to be his main assassin. All until the incident with your sister.

You feel a hand grasp yours bringing your attention to the present. You look at the owner of the hand to see Yoongi giving you reassurance.

The only people who knew your secret in the room were Jungkook, Jin, and Yoongi. It was labeled confidential by Jin. You looked over to the head agent to see him with sadness in his eyes. He opens his mouth to say something to you but the President cuts him off.

"That damn monster."

President Jeon's fist clenched tightly as he thought of the mafia leader. Jin shifts his attention toward the president. "We understand that Sunghoon is extremely dangerous. Which is why we have assigned another agent to Golden Jeon."

You look over to Jungkook to see him stiffen from the news.

A knock echoes through the room. Jin smiles as he expected this person. The door opens and reveals a man with dark black hair, so dark it almost comes off as blue, his chubby face doesn't match the rest of him as his body is strong lean, and muscular. He walks in with a smile that reaches his eyes making them half crescent moons and his pearly whites show a tooth that's slightly protruding.

He walks to an open seat and bows slightly to everyone but deeply bows to the President and his family before sitting down

"Everyone, please welcome Agent Dorem also known as Park Jimin."

MY KITTY >_<

MY KITTY >_<

Chapter one

'Are you kidding me?!'

I groaned in frustration when a rain drop falt on my forehead, feeling its coldness. I had a rough day today at work and I honestly though it can’t get worse. I arrived late and I was almost kicked out of my boss. Working as an assistant in a company is really stressful. The past weeks got me so tired since our company started a new project with another one so all my time, I spent it there. The only satisfaction I get is the fact my boyfriend is working there as well so we had more time to spend together.

I smile remembering our kisses between the meetings we have to attend, his little notes left on my desk every time I come back from the conference room, rest room or my boss’s office. He knows she doesn’t like me, she is the reason I am having a rough time at work so he tries comforting me. My boss is a perfectionist, the type of the rich and heartless woman who only cares about her. I honestly don’t know why she doesn’t like me at all, I never created problems at work place and I am a responsible person. Today was the first time I was running late for work.

I shake my head of my thoughts when another drop falls on my skin wetting it. It was followed by another two then three, four… until it started to rain harder. I wrap my arms around myself, pulling the hoodie I am wearing as close as possible of my -now- wet body, running to the complex I am living in. As if the Universe decided I wasn’t punished enough it started to rain even more, a thunder making me jump in place.

‘Shit…’ I exclaimed. I am four streets distance of my apartment and the thunders coming from the sky make me wanna hide somewhere. Maybe I should have taken an umbrella this morning, even though I don’t think it would help. Suddenly I stop in the middle of the road. I feel like I am not alone. I look around to make sure but it’s 1 AM so nobody is that crazy to be outside, at this hour, in the middle of a storm. Thunder. I am snapped back to reality. I start running again, my heart pounding fast against my ribs cage. I hear a sound on my left but I keep running, I am really scared now. What if there is a stalker, or a thief…

Boof! I trip over a stone, falling on the wet ground with a thud that can’t be heard because of the sounds the rain fall make. Thunder. I flinch in my place again, my eyes scanning the surroundings. Great place, a dark alley… My head snaps up fast when I hear another sound -now- in front of me… I am trying to adjust my eyes in the limited light of the dark alley, gotten from an old, no more powerful street lamp.

That’s when my breath stops. And I see them. Green eyes shinning in the dark… eyes who send shivers down my spine… ‘S-stay back!’ I mumble under my breathe when the creature starts moving in the dark. Crawling back with my eyes still on it, my hand protectively in front of me, I don’t realise my cheeks are now wetted not only with rain drops but my tears as well…

The creature sniffs closer, with very calculated moves, like a predathor…and I am afraid I am the pray. It gets closer until I can feel the warmth radiating from its body… I close my eyes, a gasp leaving my parted lips when I feel its hot breathe hitting my face, but I don’t dare opening my eyes. I would beg for it to not harm me, if I wasn’t that scared. I close my eyes tighter ready to scream when something cold and wet touches my face.

‘Meow…’

Wait what?l  I slowly open my right eye. ‘Meow.’ I blink, confusion and relief washing over my body. It’s just a kitty…a really skinny, wet and scared one. It stares at me, titling its head with these lost green  eyes, and surprisingly they are not that scary from here… ‘Hey kitty kitty…’ I say, slowly moving from my place, from beside a wall, to reach for it. It hisses at first, probably more scared of me than I was of it.. I let my hand slowly travel in front of it, leaving it on ground, trying to not scare it more.

As it sniffed it, I slowly rises it up and softly touched its wet fur with the tips of my digits. It slightly flinched under my touch, but stayed still, sniffing my hand more. I started to smile, forgetting how scared I was moments ago, petting its head gently. ‘I am sorry I scared you, little one..’ I said softly scratching under its chin. It opens its eyes, who were closed for a moment-enjoying my touch, and my heart breaks at the way they are staring at me- the kitty seems so lost- a touch of sadness playing in them, as if they are trying to say something.

I sigh, picking it up and hiding it under my hoodie, keeping the little and fragile animal as close as I can, in a try to make it feel warm, even though I can’t imagine how warm I can be after I’ve stayed in rain for this much-…right, the rain. I start walking through my apartment again, this time more relaxed like before. ‘Don’t worry, kitty kitty, I will take you home with me.’ I said looking at my little new room-mate.

‘Meow…’

Letters...(teaser)

Dear person I love,

I am writing you another letter...

Because I keep thinking about you over and over again, even if...I am giving my hardest not to, even since you left. But who am I to actually be able to. I can't forget the way you used to hold me so close to your chest, your smooth skin under my cheek still relatable, heart beats which I learnt like a mantra, slowling down under my ear, while you had your face burried in my hair, softly breathing praises on my skin. I still smell like flowers, if you are ever wondering. I bet you don't; and it is devastating since... you used to burry your nose on my neck, mumbling how my flowery scent relaxes you. I was your little forbidden garden, where... as you said, you were protected of the cruelty and the ugliness of the entire world. I can't forget your warm touch on my cold skin, the gentleness of those -chocolate like- eyes, staring down into my doe ones, eyes which were holding back so many feelings and words that were never spoken and still... the only ones I was able to see were three meaningfull ones.

I love you.

I am laying in my bed right now, cuddled up into a ball, trying to not think about what hurt me. You. I am trying to forget you, but I am so hopeless... with every step I make in this painful, long and worthless trying to forget about you, my heart refuses it and makes me back off in a fast motion.

Memories of you are graved all over the walls of my house. Every corner is signed up by your crystalline laugh, which I close my eyes when I remember it, thinking it will stop ringing effortlessly in my ears. But not even covering my ears helps, you are here. Even thought you are not. You are right behind my closed eyelids, your image clearer than ever, betraying my tears who are slowly escaping, between my dark eyelashes and dare to roll over my cold cheeks, for the hundred time tonight.

Your cheeky smile who used to brighten up my day... is now, the knife piercing my chest, down to my heart and right into my soul. The way your amazing lips used to break into a contagious smile, puffy cheeks rising up, action which used to make your small eyes disappear behind them, is the most beautiful view I ever had the pleasure to admire. Oh... and how many times did I stop every action when you were smiling, just to stare at your beautiful face and memorise every well defined feature of yours. To me... you were perfection.

And now I am paying for my actions. I have done it... I memorised every inch of you, every little beauty spot you have, every place of it, your cute crooked tooth has never been more attractive. And now... I can't get rid of your perfect face, from my poor, tortured mind.

Where are you, person who's name is written all over my fate?

`

Author's note: so hello, hi there, people who read my shitty and not so many fanfictions. Took a pause and I am really sorry, because I have a lot to write about. Anyway... this was just a little idea of a Jimin ff , inspired by a request I got, @jisoonight

Let me know if you like it,so I can make it an oneshot or series.

Hey lovely! I have a thing for Jimin's finger too, so yeah.. Jimin drowling over the fact that you much smaller than him and that even his finger are big for you, stretching you out and he's not shy at pointing that out for you... oooph.. Bye 🥰💜

Hey Lovely! I Have A Thing For Jimin's Finger Too, So Yeah.. Jimin Drowling Over The Fact That You Much

You were on the couch, between Jimin's thighs, his arms wrapped protectively around your waist, keeping you close to chest. You two were watching a movie, when you started playing with his full of rings fingers. Jimin was not paying attention to you, too amazed by the movie.

You frowned, staring at his thick figers, pressing your palm on his, fingers on his fingers. You were staring at your hands, moving them to examinate them, you didn't realise when Jimin put pause on the movie, to stare at you. He kissesed your shoulder "What happened, babygirl?"

"Your fingers are so cute" you whispered and kissed the tip of each one, staring at him. He scoffed and played the movie again, he already knew he has short fingers and he didn't like it, even you had your fingers almost as long as his.

"These short fingers were too thick to fit your hole last night."

You heard him, out of suddent.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 2 - Chapter 3 - Chapter 4 - Chapter 5 - Chapter 6 - Chapter 7 - Chapter 8 - Chapter 9 - Chapter 10 [Complete]

The year 1021:

“When will it take place?” Namjoon asked his friend who came to visit him on his cell.

“Tomorrow, during the sunset.” His angel friend replied.

Namjoon slowly nodded. He couldn’t see her face properly due to the lack of light inside the cell. After all, there were no windows. It’s just the fire outside which casted a little light through the door.

“There is still time.” The angel came near him, “You only have to make an official apology. They will let it slide this time.”

“Did the Guardian angel ordered you to say that?” Namjoon asked rather boldly.

The angel cleared her throat, “Yes, she did. But I would have asked you to do the same.”

Namjoon let out a chuckle, “Really? You, of all people?”

“Namjoon,” she came to sit beside him and held his hands, which felt surprisingly cold against her warm skin, “Please, do this for my sake. I can’t bear to lose you.”

Namjoon caressed the back of her hands, “Don’t worry, it will be less hard for you all. They are going to erase all of me from your memories. You will not even remember who I was.”

“Do you think I want that?”

“It wouldn’t matter anyway.”

“But you will remember everything, won’t you? How will you live without us, without all of this?”

Namjoon kept silent. He tried to swallow down the growing lump in his throat. There was nothing he could do about the punishment. It was inevitable, unless he decided to step away from what he strongly believed. It was something impossible for him to do. He was a man, slave of his conscience.

The angel stood up and walked slowly towards the door. She stopped there and glanced back. At that moment, Namjoon desperately wanted to confess his love to her. He thought, “she wouldn’t remember me anyway.”

“Do you have anything left to tell me?” she asked.

Namjoon said, “I love you.”

The angel gave a painful laughter and nodded her head, “I know. I always did.”

Present day:

The sound of the heavy rain seemed to have muted the surrounding. A man in a rather large cloak was walking along the side of the street. The hood was covering most of his face. He kept glancing back every now and then as if he was afraid someone might follow him.

He bumped into someone as he took a turn. “Sorry!” he mumbled.

“Have you gone blind?” the person said, his voice irritated, “Look, what you have done?”

It was only that some parts of his shirt got wet with the rain as his umbrella fell down. It would have been no big deal to an ordinary man. But he was no ordinary man. He was Kim Seokjin, son of the most beautiful being to ever exist, the goddess of love, Aphrodite.

“Sorry,” the man in the cloak said once again and hurried towards his destination. But Seokjin grabbed him by his hand.

“Where do you think you are going, young man? I’m not finished with you yet.”

“Sir,” the cloak man called, “Don’t block my path. I can’t deal with you now. I have an urgent work at hand.”

“What if I do block your path?”

“You might regret it.”

“Make me!” Seokjin scoffed.

Then the cloak man did something unexpected. He took out a small bottle filled with some purple liquid from under his cloak and threw its content at Seokjin’s face.

“What the…” before he could finish his sentence the cloak man jerked away from him and started to walk.

“Hey!” he called as his vision started to get blurry, “What did you do to me?” He was completely in the dark by the time he finished his question.

“Don’t worry, sir!” the cloak man yelled back at him, “It’ll only last for a day.”

The year 1021:

Namjoon appeared before the anticipated crowd. His punishment was finally going to be announced and executed. He felt relieved. After days of being tormented and forced to step back from the decision he had made, it felt like a peaceful moment to be finally discharged, even if that meant he was to be banished to the earth.

All the heavenly figures looked at him, some with curiosity in their eyes, some with hatred and despise, while some with grief, even some with pride and admiration. It occurred to him then, why the devil was the first to be casted away from the heaven. There were more fallen angels after him that nobody knew of or simply didn’t care about.

Namjoon stood straight in front of the Guardian angel. His posture showed that he wasn’t afraid. He was ready to accept the punishment for declining the Gods’ order. The only thing that bothered him was losing his wings. The wings, which he was born with. The pain was equivalent to someone losing their arms or legs, perhaps even more

“Kim Namjoon,” The Guardian called, “You were one of the best angels we had. How did it come to this?”

Namjoon remained silent. He kept pondering over the word, ‘were’.

“We will ask you once again.” The Guardian further said, “Do you accept your mistake and apologize to the whole angel community and the Gods and the Goddesses above?”

“I do apologize to the whole community for not being able to be a better leader. For if I was, I’m sure they would have followed me to the path I chose for myself. But alas! Not a single angel accepted my proposal.”

Hearing this, the crowd broke into a loud protest. The Guardian angel gestured them to remain quiet. Then, she added, with a loud and clear voice, “If it is so, we are afraid you will be banished from the heaven and send to the earth down below."

“I accept my punishment gladly.” Namjoon said, his voice sharp.

The Guardian sighed. There was a hint of pain visible on her face. “Do you have any last wish to make?” she finally asked.

“I wish to keep my wings. This is the only request I make to the majesty. And if your majesty refuses, I would make no protest neither any more requests.”

Another shout broke out from the crowd. Someone yelled, “Wings are the sign of angels. How can you wish to keep it, you devil?”

“Silence.” The guardian rose from her seat. The crowd grew silent once again.

She turned to Namjoon and declared, “Kim Namjoon, I officially give you the permission to keep your wings. But there is a condition. Once on earth, your wings will bear the color pitch black as a mark of disgrace.”

Namjoon bowed his head with his white wings opened wide. He had accepted the condition.

Present day:

The man in the cloak proceeded to his basement. He had found everything he needed, every answer to his questions. What was left to be done was building up his courage to finally do the task.

“Well, well,” someone spoke up from behind him, “if it isn’t the wizard in disguise.”

Before the man could move, he was pulled back by a rope. He sat down on a chair with a thump and the intruder immediately tied him up in a flash. He recognized the stranger at once. It was no other than Kim Seokjin.

“Who are you?” he asked, “How did you find me?”

“Wait!” Seokjin held up a hand in front of him, “I think it’s my turn to ask you questions.”

“You’re underestimating my power, whoever you are.” The man said it like a threat.

Seokjin started to laugh, “You sound a lot more confident than in the state you are in.”

When he was about to say something more Seokjin held up his hand once again and said, “First, hear me out. This is not just an ordinary rope. It’s called the rope of Hestia. I believe you’ve heard about it.”

The man nodded and said as a matter of fact, “I see.” he seemed to think for a while. Then, he added, “Since you’ve recovered from my spell sooner than any ordinary man and carrying one of the most important items of a Goddess, you are definitely no mortal. Now tell me what you are? A God? Perhaps a Demigod?”

“You’re quick, I see.” Seokjin said, impressed.

The man scoffed at this remark, “How did you get hold of that rope?”

Seokjin thought for a moment, “Let’s say, Hestia was really impressed by me.”

“Let’s say, you actually stole it.”

“Whatever, it doesn’t matter now. Since you’re unable to tell any lie, I ask you to reveal your true identity at once.”

The man sighed and answered, “My name’s Min Yoongi. I am 24 years of age. I am a wizard by profession…”

“Wait, what?” Seokjin interrupted him, “You’re a year younger than me? No way, you look like a father of two already.” He started to laugh again.

Yoongi was getting really annoyed by his jokes, “Can we please get to the point? What do you want from me?”

“The truth.” Seokjin replied flatly, “I know you’re up to something. Tell me what it is.”

Yoongi replied, “I’m trying to summon up an angel.”

Both of them gasped at once; Seokjin, for the shocking revelation and Yoongi, to have found out that the rope of Hestia actually worked on him.

Present day:

Namjoon sat by the corner in a bench. It was his usual place. He loved it here because it was peaceful and somewhat relaxing. The children could be seen playing at a distance, their chattering could be heard.

Someone came to sit beside him, “If you don’t mind, may I sit in here?”

Namjoon nodded his head in affirmation. The lady tried to make a small conversation. But since Namjoon didn’t sound very enthusiastic in his replies, she didn’t continue any further.

Namjoon had no other option but to follow this rule he had made for his safety in this dangerous world. If anyone found out about his true identity, he would get caught. Then, Gods knew what would be his final fate.

A Frisbee was thrown at his direction. A kid was gesturing him to throw it back to them. Namjoon stood up and walked towards it to pick it up.

Suddenly, his head started to spin. First, it seemed like his surroundings were vibrating. As he looked towards the ground, he felt it to be shaking rather violently.

Namjoon panicked. “What’s happening to me?” he thought.

He started to lose his sight as everything started to get blurry. The lady asking him if he was okay sounded very distant to him. Then, something exploded in his head.

“Ugh,” he growled in pain. The back of his shirt was torn. The large black wings, which was by then invisible to the mortal eyes, appeared in his back.

The children started to cry and scream in fear. The lady started to take a few steps back, “What is this thing?” she yelled, “Oh my God! Someone call the emergency.”

Then, his knees gave up and he fell to the ground. But what was expected to be a grassland, turned out to be a hard floor beneath him. His head started to feel normal again and the visions slowly came back to him. He knew by his surrounding that he was at a very different place now. He could hear a conversation before him distinctively.

“Does it look like an angel to you?” someone asked.

“Well, I don’t know.” Another replied in annoyance, “You are the one who’s supposed to have seen angels in real life.”

“And I did.” The first one said, “But trust me, never in my life had I seen an angel with black wings, fully dressed in black from his head to toe.”

Chapter 1 - Chapter 2 - Chapter 3 - Chapter 4 - Chapter 5 - Chapter 6 - Chapter 7 - Chapter 8 - Chapter 9 - Chapter 10 [Complete]

Jungkook couldn’t recall when the last time he got out of his huge mansion was. It would get really lonely sometimes, living all alone. It wasn’t like this all the time. He was used to travelling around the world a lot. But now, even roaming around his neighboring woods seemed dangerous.

Today, Jungkook had built up his courage and stepped out in to the woods. He could sense that his body was growing weaker. He needed blood. So, he searched for a suitable prey.

He could smell blood ahead of him. “What is it again?” he thought. The smell wasn’t foreign but it was a distant memory to him. He stood there, puzzling over the smell.

“Humans!” as soon as the thought occurred to him a bullet went straight through his side.

“Not bullets!” someone shouted, “use those wooden arrows, idiots. He’s a vampire.”

Jungkook turned back and wanted to run. But someone had already shoot an arrow through one of his legs. He fell on his knees in pain.

“So, this is the end of me.” He thought, “They are going to lock me up in their lab and God knew whatever they are going to do to me.”

They started to come closer, pointing their weapons at him. There were too many of them for Jungkook to fight alone with his weak body. He started wondering whether he should lay still and let them take him or fight back and risk being killed on the process.

“Not today, fellas!” Someone shouted from behind them. All the humans’ attention went straight to the direction at once. In that brief moment of confusion, Jungkook hid himself behind a large tree nearby.

He could sense there was a fight; the bullets were fired and the arrows were thrown in every direction. The humans’ were panicking. Whatever their secret attacker was, it was really swift at its job.

Jungkook was trying to understand what it was. But with all the fuss, and too many humans around, he couldn’t make out the smell. The fight continued for some time. Some of the humans were killed. Jungkook could tell by the smell of their fresh blood in the air. The remaining accepted their defeat and fled.

It was quiet for some time. A sweet voice spoke, “You can come out, now. They are gone.”

Jungkook couldn’t trust the stranger immediately. He was still traumatized because of the sudden attack. Then, a face appeared in front of him. He was startled and moved back in fear.

The face smiled, “It’s okay, don’t be afraid.”

Jungkook was looking at the stranger with wide eyes, trying to make up his mind whether to trust him or not. The stranger gasped at the sight of his injury, “Oh dear, you’re hurt. Come out. Let me help you.”

He held up his hand. Jungkook hesitantly took it and came out in to the open. A huge black wolf suddenly jumped at him and started to lick his face.

“Taehyung!” The gentle stranger spoke, “Stop it. You’re scaring him.”

The wolf got down and whined at him. He laughed, “I know he’s cute. But let him get used to us first.” He turned to Jungkook and said, “He’s just very excited to meet you.”

The wolf nudged its head softly on Jungkook’s arm. For the first time in many years, a smile grew on his face.

“No, no, no!” Yoongi kept muttering for the millionth time as he went through his papers again and again, “This can’t go wrong.”

“Apparently, it has.” Said Seokjin while filing his nails.

“What went wrong?” Yoongi was too frustrated to hear him, “I did it all right. Everything’s to the point; the potions, the signs, the spells.”

“Maybe you somehow pronounced it wrong?” Seokjin further suggested, “With that forever pout on your mouth, it is not surprising.”

Namjoon was looking at those men in front of him. He was not scared even though he was locked up inside a cell. Instead, he was amused by the never ending bickering of the two.

“As I made it pretty clear,” Namjoon cleared his throat to gain their attentions, “I think you are wasting my time and yours, locking me up like this.”

“Then, what do you suggest?” Yoongi asked, his voice dead serious, “Let you go? Just like that? After months of spending sleepless nights to work for this, you think I will let you go that easily?”

Namjoon sighed, “I can’t come to your aid, either. You said it yourself, what you need specifically is an angel. And I’m not one. At least, not anymore.”

The last words he spoke was almost in a whisper. But it was loud enough for Seokjin to catch. “What do you mean by that?” He rose up from his seat and gasped, “Are you a fallen angel, then? Oh my Gods! He is the devil. The devil!”

Yoongi let out a frustrated cry, “Will you please shut up making a fuss about everything?"

“I’m sorry,” Seokjin continued, “but I think, you were the one making a fuss around all this time. Why can’t you just do all these weird rituals again and call up an angel. This time, it might actually show up. After all, there are more angels than devils.”

“Because,” Yoongi slammed his hand on the table, “It can only be done once.”

“Maybe,” Namjoon interrupted their silly arguments again, “if you tell me the true motive behind your doings, I can help you find a real angel.”

“Well, no thanks.” Yoongi dismissed his proposal, “I don’t think my motive is evil enough for a devil’s fancy.”

Namjoon’s voice turned really serious this time, “Why don’t you give it a try?”

image

The boy named Jimin, who had saved Jungkook earlier, had bound a handkerchief on his injured leg. He said, “The wound should not last long. But since you’re too weak and who knows when the last time you had taken blood, I think it might take some time to heal.”

“Umm… four months.” Jungkook mumbled.

“Pardon?” Jimin asked.

Jungkook said hesitantly, “It’s been four months since I last fed on blood.”

“No way!” he gasped, “How did you manage to survive all alone like that?”

Taehyung came back in his human form with a box smile on his face. Jungkook couldn’t help noticing how incredibly young and handsome he looked.

“I’ve hunted a stag.” He announced, “You can have the blood while we feast on its meat.”

“That’s settle then.” Jimin stood up and urged Jungkook to follow them.

After they were done with their dinner, Jimin and Taehyung introduced themselves. Jungkook found out that Jimin was a Gumiho, a nine tailed fox and Taehyung was a werewolf.

“My name is Jeon Jungkook. I’m a vampire.”

Jimin laughed out at his introduction, “Of course, we know that, silly. We also know a lot more about you.”

Jungkook looked puzzled, “How?”

“For instants, we know that you’ve been living in that mansion for quite a long time and there is a legend about you in town. Since the formation of OHA, when all the supernatural beings were forced into hiding, you had faked your death to the OHA people to escape being captured. But nobody from town dared to come to your mansion yet. So far, you had hidden well, my friend.”

“Yeah, you’re right.” Jungkook said, “But since you brought up this matter…” He didn’t finish his sentence.

“What about it?” Jimin asked.

“I don’t think I can go back to the mansion again. They might come back looking for me. The Humans!”

Jimin and Taehyung exchanged worried looks which made Jungkook very nervous. He was afraid they would refuse him to join their group.

Finally, Taehyung said with the same old box smile, “Don’t you worry about it, little friend. You, me, Jimin, we are a set now.”

image

Kim Joon-Hwi, the founder and CEO of the ‘Organization for Human Aids’, in short OHA, had been very upset lately. Because the progress on his works were getting slower by the day.

Once, there used to be a lot of super natural beings around. They could be easily caught and locked up. The research was blooming at the time. But slowly their numbers declined. Whatever left were now more careful than ever before.

The lab rats they had caught since the last 5 years were dying away fast. Some of them wouldn’t cooperate and even attempted suicide to escape being tested by the scientists and wizards. There were even a small numbers to have escaped the facility.

“We have found out that the ancient vampire called Jeon Jungkook is still alive and thriving in the woods, sir.” One of the guards came to inform him.

Kim Joon-Hwi turned to him, “So, what now? Have you been able to catch him?”

“Unfortunately not, sir!” the guard said, “But we have found out that there are other beings in that woods as well.”

“Other beings?” He was curious now, “What do you mean?”

“A werewolf and perhaps a Gumiho, sir, though we are not absolutely sure about it. He was in human form.”

“A Gumiho!” Kim Joon-Hwi exclaimed, “Come on, prepare all the guards immediately. Their location cannot be lost. Send the wizards too, if necessary.”

The guard bowed and left. Kim Joon-Hwi was really excited. The one and only Gumiho they had caught in 5 years died last year. It was the rarest of species to exist on earth that most people believed it had gone extinct.

“Finally some good news!” he thought.

image

“Alright,” Yoongi said, “I’ve decided to trust you with my secret.”

“Ah…” Seokjin interrupted, “So, you’re trusting a devil, now. Didn’t I ask you first about that motive of yours?”

“The thing is,” Yoongi continued as if no one had interrupted him, “I’m planning to take down OHA.”

Namjoon and Seokjin looked at each other. They stared intensely for quite a long time.

“They are definitely judging me right now.” Yoongi thought. The next moment, they both burst into laughter.

“I thought you were serious.” Namjoon said, “Which I still think you are. But your plan is an impossible dream. Can’t you tell that? I mean, what gave you the notion that it could actually be done?”

Seokjin was still laughing, “Oh God! Look at this kid. Who does he think he is?”

“Look!” Yoongi said, “I’m not in the mood to explain it all to you, guys. You’ve asked me to tell you my true motive and I did. Whether you believe it or not, that’s up to you.”

After hours of mocking and shouting at each other, Yoongi was finally able to make them see his true vision. Half-heartedly they all agreed upon to pursue the goal of Yoongi.

Namjoon took them with him to meet the angel he had promised. Before he went inside, he turned to them one last time and said, “I want you both to remember that, in my thousand and one years on earth, this is the very first angel I had met a few days ago. If I had any other options, I would have probably taken you to the other ones. So, keep it in mind. He is our only Hope.”

As soon as Namjoon opened the door to the Arcade zone, someone came running to hug him.

“Namjoon-ah…” he called in excitement, “You’ve finally come to meet me.” He was jumping like a five year old while still hugging Namjoon awkwardly.

He was covered with garments and fancy accessories from his head to toe. Colors of all kinds seemed to have been splashed all over him. Starting from bucket hats, chains, bracelets, sunglass, there was also a very weird looking pouch hanging by his pants. Overall he looked like a homeless picking up clothes from wherever he can to make up a messy outfit.

“Guys,” Namjoon gave them an apologetic look, “This is Hoseok, the brightest angel to ever exist.”

“What the actual fuck?” Yoongi said.

“Hmm…” Hoseok said thoughtfully, “So, you want me to help you bring the OHA down. Is that right?”

“Yes!” Yoongi said, wishing desperately that this angel was not as stupid and useless as it appeared to be.

“What’s in here for me?” he asked.

“Huh?” Yoongi was shocked. He had never gave it a thought that the angel might ask for a reward in return. “Well, why would you ask for anything anyway? You are literally bringing down a system that is hunting your kind and many others for 5 years.”

“Oh, I see…” Hoseok turned to Namjoon, “What do you think? Should I abandon my duty to do this guy’s job here?”

“I think, working with this guy will take you closer to your own mission.” Namjoon answered.

Yoongi interrupted, “Actually my name’s Min Yoongi. I would very much appreciate it if you call me by that name.”

“Seriously?” this time, Seokjin sounded annoyed with Yoongi, “Namjoon literally said Hoseok is here on earth for a mission and what you’re worried about is what they are calling you?”

“I accept.” Hoseok said.

“Really?” Yoongi asked hopefully, “You’re going to do this?”

“Yes!”

“Even if there’s too much danger involved?”

“Yes!” Hoseok nodded, looking quite happy for someone joining a suicide mission.

“I think,” Namjoon said, “my work here is done. Good luck to you guys, on your way to bring down the most influential and powerful organization on earth.”

“I don’t think I’m feeling very confident at his words of encouragement. Does anyone else feel like me?” Seokjin looked around.

Hoseok raised his hand while Yoongi said to Namjoon, “No, stay!”

Namjoon raised an eyebrow, “excuse me?”

“Please,” Yoongi pleaded, “Trust me, I have a plan. The more we are in number, the more it is likely to succeed.”

“Yeah, Namjoon-ah.” Hoseok stood up and suddenly started to talk with an authority. “I think friends should stand together at times like this.”

“I didn’t know an angel could be a friend with the devil.” Seokjin mocked.

“Well, it can happen, you see.” Hoseok replied, “Don’t you know, having mutual enemies make people friends? So, we’re all basically friends here.”

“We are?” Seokjin asked in a rather surprised tone.

Hoseok reassured, “We are!”

Jimin and Taehyung took Jungkook to the little hut they called their home. It was out of town, in the middle of the woods. Jungkook noticed that though the hut was not very big, it was very neat and clean, looking like a pleasant place for a family. He remembered how messy his mansion got after all of his servants were being caught by the OHA.

“So, this is a little home I had built for myself.” Jimin announced, looking very proud about it, “I’ve been living here all alone until Taehyung joined me.”

“Yeah,” Taehyung said, a smile never leaving his face, “There’s only two beds. The two of you can take one each. I am happy to squeeze in with any one of you.”

“Thanks.” Jungkook said, “But I don’t sleep.”

“Oh,” Taehyung was taken aback, “I almost forgot that you’re a vampire. Don’t be offended, little friend. I sometimes forget that I’m a werewolf too.”

“Don’t go around calling him ‘little’, Tae.” Jimin said, “He’s been alive for over a century, I believe.”

“Really?” Taehyung asked, “How old are you exactly?”

“Umm…” Jungkook thought for a while, “I don’t know for sure. I can remember being living, umm… being an undead since the 17th century.”

“Don’t you remember your life as a human?” Jimin asked.

Jungkook shook his head. He didn’t remember what his true identity was, who his parents were, how he was as a boy. He didn’t remember what it felt like to be a human with hunger and fatigue. All he remembered was his everlasting thirst for blood.

Jimin kept silent. He felt sorry for Jungkook, who didn’t have any friends or family and who had been surviving all alone for a long time. Jimin knew the feeling of loneliness all too well. That’s why, he had made a promise to himself to keep Taehyung safe. Now, he felt the same responsibility towards Jungkook as well.

“Whatever, it is.” Taehyung broke the silence, “Since, you’re the last one to join the pack, you’re our little one from now on.”

Jungkook tilted his head in affirmation. He didn’t mind being taken care of as a little one.

“Aww…” Taehyung pouted, “Isn’t he so cute?” which made Jimin laugh.

OHA had been keeping a watch at the hut of the new formed trio. It wouldn’t be very clever to attack them right away. The guards and the wizards were waiting for the right time.

Catching a nine tailed fox was not too easy. Because they were swift in their movements and can keep up with a long fight. They can manipulate the weather to go against their enemies. The only thing worse than fighting a Gumiho was fighting a Gumiho along with a vampire and a werewolf.

It was an order from Kim Joon-Hwi, himself. There was no option of losing the Gumiho. It had to be caught. Even if it caused them the lives of the other two species. Because, the Gumiho was the real target.

So, the enemies were patient. They were waiting…

image

Yoongi had bought all of them to his place to stay. He needed time to explain his plan. But that was not the real reason for this invitation. Yoongi couldn’t bring himself to trust them just yet. They had agreed to join him on a suicide mission so easily, which made Yoongi suspicious. But he didn’t know that each of them had a good reason to have done it.

“Your place is a so small,” Seokjin commented, “that it’s making me claustrophobic.”

“As if you’ve gotten a better place.” Yoongi muttered. It wasn’t easy for beings like them to stay at a nice place among nice people without being noticed. In fact, it was more dangerous than staying out in the street. Because nobody really cared about homeless people.

“You’re right!” Seokjin said, hearing his remark, “Earth has some really shitty places. I miss home.”

“Where is it?” Hoseok asked enthusiastically.

“At the mount Olympus, of course.” He said with pride, “Mother would keep me at the best place possible. After all, I’m her only child.”

“How are you so sure about that?” Yoongi muttered under his breath again.

“What was that?” Seokjin asked, with a frown clearly visible on his forehead.

“I asked, what are you doing here on earth then? Especially at this time?” Yoongi asked, “Doesn’t Aphrodite know how dangerous the earth was for her only son?”

“That’s none of your business.” Seokjin went straight to the only bedroom available. But Yoongi didn’t complain. He was really satisfied to have pissed Seokjin off.

Namjoon looked around the whole apartment, if it could be called one, to make sure there weren’t anyone spying them from outside a window or something. He also looked around at stuffs Yoongi used to practice wizardry. Judging by those and all the old books lying around, Namjoon believed Yoongi had been practicing them since he was very young.

“Don’t worry about me.” Hoseok said to Yoongi, “I’m used to sleeping on the floor since I came to the earth. At least, I’m glad I don’t have to hide my wings here. So that I can be curled up inside them while I sleep.”

Hoseok was smiling. Yoongi’s heart suddenly felt heavy. He thought how innocent the angel was that he could stay positive even at times like this. Hoseok reminded him of someone he used to know. Someone who had called him his friend. Someone who was now dead and for this, Yoongi was to blame.

image

Taehyung woke up from a sudden loud noise, “Jiminie!” he called out loud.

“It’s okay!” Jimin confirmed, “It’s just a plate.”

Jungkook immediately started to apologize, “I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to…”

Jimin cut him out, “You need to stop apologizing for every minor inconvenience.”

Taehyung stood up, rubbing his eyes. “What’s for breakfast?” he asked.

“I’m still trying to figure that out.” Jimin said, “We’re out of meat. We need to go to the supermarket.”

“Maybe the woods would be better.” Taehyung suggested, “We need to find something for Jungkook as well.”

“It’s alright!” Jungkook assured them, “I can go without blood for a week without any hassle.”

All of a sudden, there was a gunshot nearby. This time, they were all alert at once. “Did you hear that?” Taehyung asked.

“Boys,” Jimin commanded, “stay inside. I’ll go check.” Another gunshot.

“I’m coming with you.” Taehyung said while Jungkook nodded.

Before Jimin could say anything, the noises started to grow as if there was a battle going on outside. The trio waited inside, trying to figure out just what was going on.

“I can smell Humans.” Jungkook sat down on a chair, his voice shaking, “They had followed me here. They are going to take me away.”

Jimin went to stand beside him, carefully caressing his head, “Don’t worry, dear. They can’t harm you. Not on my watch!”

Eventually everything was quiet again. Still they didn’t dare to move just then. After what seemed like hours of waiting in fear of something might going wrong, their front door sprang open, causing them to jump in fright. The four strangers stood outside.

“So tell me,” The one wearing a cloak with a hood on stepped inside, “which one of you is the Gumiho?”

“Give me a good reason to trust you.” Jimin asked defensively.

Yoongi and his new partners had brought the trio in his place. At first, Jimin was reluctant to have come with them. But when he saw what the OHA had in their mind and if it weren’t for them, Jimin would have probably ended up in their laboratory, he finally agreed to go with them.

“Trust requires time.” Yoongi said, “And all I’m asking from you is to give me that time. I swear, everything will make sense at the end. It will all go well according to the plan.”

“Well, your first plan was to summon an angel.” Seokjin said, always ready to contradict Yoongi at any given time, “And look, whom you’ve brought instead.” He gave Namjoon a disgusted look.

“Yeah,” Yoongi said as a matter of fact, “someone who brought the said angel to me at least.”

“Yah, Jimin-ah!” Taehyung called, “Look at this angel, here. His wings are so soft. Oh my God! I want to wrap myself in them.”

Jimin gave a faint smile. Taehyung and Jungkook were busy playing with Hoseok as Jimin was having some serious discussion with the rest. They looked surprisingly happy to have joined the new team. They were trusting the new people so easily. It made Jimin worry a lot.

“Oh my God!” Hoseok imitated Taehyung, “And I want to wrap you in my wings as well. Haha…” They were laughing like kids at this point.

Namjoon shook his head, “Are you sure about the sanity of the members of this team?”

Yoongi sighed, unable to answer. He, himself was losing hope the more time he had been spending with these incompatible group of beings he had collected.

image

Whatever the reason might be for each of them, they collectively agreed to do whatever it took them to bring the demise of the organization that had been terrorizing their kinds for years. Apart from Seokjin, everyone seemed to have liked Yoongi too, despite of his cold nature. Little by little Yoongi started to explain the complicated, but not wholly impossible, plan to them all.

First, came the question of participations from the members. How and who would perform which tasks were brought into light. Yoongi would definitely serve as the mastermind of the team. Namjoon, Taehyung and Jungkook would be the strength while Hoseok and Jimin would give the team whatever supernatural skills they had to offer.

“What about Seokjin?” Namjoon asked sarcastically.

“What about me?” Seokjin asked, “Ya’ll definitely need a son of Aphrodite on the team. Someone, whose beauty can distract the enemies at dire times.”

“Who needs to be Aphrodite’s child to look beautiful?” said Taehyung, fixing the collar of his shirt.

Hoseok cracked up at this, “No offense, but that was so true.”

“It’s about number.” Yoongi came to his aid, “We need more people in the team.”

“But that doesn’t mean we can allow about anyone.” Jimin said, afraid that they might end up having a spy among them.

“Anyway,” Namjoon said, his voice suddenly serious now, “I think you are not giving us enough information.” The accusation was directed to Yoongi. “Answer this first, if it was about numbers, why were you so keen at finding specifically an angel and a Gumiho?”

All of their attentions were now at Yoongi. “I…” Yoongi stammered, “it’s because…Well, you see. We need some of the superpowers to fight such a horribly powerful Organization as OHA.” Yoongi’s voice rose as he asked the others, “Does any of you have them as good as these guys?” he pointed at Jimin and Hoseok.

Taehyung shook his head, “Even the OHA would agree to the fact that angels and Gumihos are their most desirable preys.”

Even though everyone seemed to be satisfied by the explanation, Namjoon was feeling a hunch. “This guy is definitely keeping some real secrets to himself.” He thought. But he didn’t let his suspicion be known to anyone else.

image

“You’ve failed again.” Kim Joon-Hwi raged at the guards and the wizards those who were able to have escaped the last fight with the supernatural beings.

“Sir,” one of the guards informed, “They were more in number than we had anticipated.”

Kim Joon-Hwi shook his head. He had been putting up with enough excuses. They were failing him again and again. He was getting impatient now. He wanted to take the matter at his own hands.

“Two years at best.” He screamed at the leader of the wizards, “That’s how much time you had asked from me. And now, 5 years had already passed and you’re progress is getting slower.”

The wizard lowered his head and said, “But we’ve found something more valuable this time, sir.”

“Tell me more about it.” Kim Joon-Hwi relaxed and sat down on his chair.

“There were four more members in their team, sir.” The wizard informed, “Among them was Yoongi.”

“The wizard Min Yoongi?” He asked.

“Yes, sir.” The wizard answered, “There was an angel too.”

“An angel?” Kim Joon-Hwi again rose from his chair in excitement.

“An angel and another being with black wings; which we couldn’t identify yet.”

Kim Joon-Hwi didn’t show any interest at the other creatures. He said, more to himself than anyone, “That means, Yoongi had finally found the angel.”

There was a moment of silent. Hesitantly, the wizard asked his boss, “Sir, what do we do next?”

“We don’t.” Kim Joon-Hwi replied. There was a faint smirk visible on his face, “They come to us.”

image

After hours of discussion on their upcoming mission, they all settled down to have a dinner on the floor, since there was no table available. Jungkook wasn’t eating anything. Instead he kept looking at Hoseok with his big doe eyes full of wonder.

“What are you looking at?” Hoseok asked while chewing on a buttered bun.

Jungkook hesitated, “I’ve always imagined angels wearing white clothes.”

“And we do.” Hoseok responded, “In heaven we wear nothing but white; which goes pretty well with our white wings. But since I came to earth, I’ve discovered all these colorful stuffs people wear. And I absolutely love them. So, I tried them on since my wings are invisible most of the times here.”

Jungkook nodded his head while Namjoon remarked, “Well, you should have been more careful in choosing what colors go well together. Splashing random colors aimlessly at a canvas doesn’t create art.”

“I think they do. People here call them ‘abstract arts’” Seokjin said, “Anyway, I like Hoseok’s style of clothing more than yours. Your aesthetic goes with Yoongi, I believe.” Both Namjoon and Yoongi ignored his attempt at insulting them.

Taehyung asked Hoseok, “So, what are you doing on earth? Mommy told me that angels live in heaven.”

“She’s right!” Hoseok answered. He’s more than happy to explain about his home, “Most of our lives, we live there in heaven. But every now and then, we are send down to earth for a purpose.”

“What’s that?” Taehyung asked, listening attentively.

“Well, one of my friends, an angel, came here before me.” His voice doesn’t sound very happy anymore, “But we’ve lost all contacts of him. So, I’ve volunteered to look at the matter. Hence, they allowed me to come on earth.”

“Did you find him?” Taehyung asked once again.

“Nope!” Hoseok said, “I’ve been searching for him for months. At this point, I believe, he had been taken away by OHA. But I didn’t dare fight them alone. I know how much power they hold over all the people here. That’s why, I agreed to join this team. So that I can finally go back home with my friend.”

“I think we should decide upon where to sleep at night.” Yoongi interrupted when Taehyung was about say something more.

image

Yoongi woke up early to make breakfast for them all. He was struggling as it was his first time preparing meals for seven very different species at once. He had managed to steal blood for Jungkook from a nearby clinic last night while everyone slept. It was now time to prepare some nutritious protein meals for the rest.

Seokjin came in the kitchen after sometime, “Why didn’t you wake me up? I told you, I’m a very good cook, didn’t I?”

“Please, just go back.” Yoongi said, “I can’t deal with you now.”

Seokjin understood how stressed Yoongi was. He secretly admired him for his attempt to care for the people he had collected for the mission, but barely knew them all. “He is not as cold as he wanted us to believe.” Seokjin thought.

Then, he joined quietly and started to help Yoongi. At first, Yoongi was sulking at his presence. But by the time, they both got comfortable enough to work together smoothly.

“Where’s Hoseok?” Seokjin asked, “I didn’t see him anywhere this morning.”

“Probably sleeping in the couch.” Yoongi said, stirring the soup he was making for Seokjin and himself.

“Namjoon’s in the couch.” Seokjin said.

“Maybe he’s in the bedroom.” Yoongi suggested.

“I slept in the bedroom last night.” Seokjin informed, his voice alarming at this point, “The newbies had joined me too. But not Hoseok. I thought he was sleeping on the floor next to your desk last night.”

Yoongi stopped stirring, his eyes wide, “Yes, he did. Oh my God! Why didn’t I see him when I woke up? Did he escape?”

“We’re not in a prison. Why would I escape?” Hoseok said as he entered the kitchen. He was holding a grocery bag.

“Did you go out?” Yoongi asked earnestly, “All alone? What if something wrong happened? Don’t you know, they had seen us? They know how we look like. They are out there hunting us.”

“Calm down!” Seokjin hold Yoongi by his shoulders as his voice started to raise in panic.

“I’m so sorry. I just thought there wasn’t enough food for everyone. So, I wanted to help.” Hoseok said.

“Is everything okay?” Jungkook came inside hearing all the fuss.

“Nobody has to help me, okay?” Yoongi suddenly burst out, “This is my house. I’ll do whatever is necessary. I don’t need anyone’s help.”

Jungkook got out of the kitchen immediately. Seokjin said, “Oh shut up! We all know that’s not true.”

We Are Only Seven - Chapter 5

Fandom: BTS Characters: OT7 (Devil!Namjoon, Demigod!Seokjin, Wizard!Yoongi, Angel!Hoseok, Werewolf!Taehyung, Gumiho!Jimin, Vampire!Jungkook) For a visual representation check these >>> VMinKook & NamJinSope Warning: Slight swearing, panic attack. Word Count: 1.3k Words

Summary: In a world ruled by humans, the other worldly, non-humans are in hiding. But how long will it last this way?

Chapter 1 - Chapter 2 - Chapter 3 - Chapter 4 - Chapter 5 - Chapter 6 - Chapter 7 - Chapter 8 - Chapter 9 - Chapter 10 [Complete]

image

At first, it started as a joke. Jungkook took pride in the fact that he was immune to the bullets. Being a vampire, his only weakness was wood. So, the OHA had to find an alternative for the vampires and they had trained themselves in archery; all these trouble just to hunt the vampires and no other creatures.

That’s why, Jungkook’s mates would go around calling him ‘Bulletproof’. It turned out to be a nickname eventually. But when the question of naming their team of seven members came, Namjoon suggested it should be called ‘Bulletproof’ instead as a symbol of their courage at adversaries.

It had been almost a month now. They were training themselves for the future battle they had to face. Even though Yoongi had presented some kind of draft of their plan before them, it was Namjoon who could give detailed direction about how to execute them. So, they all decided to put Namjoon as their leader. Even Yoongi was okay with that.

Meanwhile, their bond grew stronger. Some of them wouldn’t even hesitate to call the others their friends. They got used to be jam-packed at Yoongi’s small basement of an abandoned building too. They started to live as if it were their home. They became much closer to that of a family they never had.

image

The night before their first mission, Yoongi called Jimin to talk about some important issues. When Taehyung was about to follow them, Yoongi stopped him and said, “Perhaps, it would be better if you go to sleep early. We have some shits to be done by tomorrow.”

“It’s okay!” Taehyung pushed aside the proposal, “Let’s hear what you have to say first.”

Hesitantly Yoongi said, “Umm…Actually I want to talk with Jimin in private.”

“Oh!” Taehyung frowned at him but didn’t complain. He went back to the room.

Yoongi took Jimin outside to the unused garage. Jimin kept wondering what it could be that he was trying to conceal from the others.

“I know that the Gumihos can see through time into the future.” Yoongi said flatly.

“Yes!” Jimin said, with a doubt still lingering on his mind.

“I want you to do me a favor.” Yoongi’s voice was rather soft now, “Tell me what you can see about the OHA’s demise.”

“Yoongi,” Jimin called, “I don’t think you understand. It doesn’t work like that. I can’t see whatever I wish to.”

“But if you try hard…” Yoongi couldn’t finish the sentence in excitement.

Jimin sighed, “Even if I could, there is a huge possibility of messing it up. Trying to change an already bad future can turn it worse.”

“I know, I know.” Yoongi said desperately, “I promise I won’t try to change it. I won’t mess up.”

“Then, what is even the point of knowing it beforehand?” Jimin asked.

Yoongi didn’t answer.

Then, Jimin said, “It would be better if we leave this to the destiny.”

Yoongi shook his head, his eyes closed. Thinking for a while, he said carefully, “All the same, you would let me know if you see something, won’t you?”

Jimin nodded without knowing what to do otherwise, “I will.” Then, he was about to leave.

But Yoongi called him again, “Jimin-ah.” Jimin looked back. Yoongi said, “Please, don’t tell the others about our conversation here.”

image

Their first mission was to capture the leader of the wizards of the OHA called the ‘Master of Shadow”. He was the secretary of Kim Joon-Hwi and the mastermind behind all the evil the organization had been doing so far.

Their plan was to do the job as smoothly as they could without any bloody fight. All the ‘Bulletproof’ boys had planned to go. But then on the appointed day, Yoongi refused to join them.

“I’ve decided someone has to stay behind.” Yoongi said, “As I’m the only one who can use magic to prepare a room, so that he can’t escape from it, I think it should be me.” Nobody seemed to have any complain about that.

But Yoongi also added, “And Hoseok will stay with me as well.” This time, they started to protest.

“But we need as many as possible.” Seokjin argued, “And you said it yourself, that an angel is a must on the team.”

“I think you have enough people already…” Yoongi was about to say something more but Jimin interrupted him.

“Maybe our leader can decide upon the matter.” Jimin said. He was not going to leave the matter at Yoongi’s hand anymore.

Namjoon thought for a moment. It occurred to him that Yoongi was being overprotective toward Hoseok. Namjoon didn’t want Hoseok to get hurt as well. After all, he used to be a fellow angel, even though Hoseok didn’t remember anything about Namjoon now.

“I think Yoongi’s right.” He said finally, “Let them stay. The five of us are enough to fight a single wizard.”

image

They set off for the mission without the two and reached the OHA facility. They were to keep a watch at it secretly and wait till the wizard was seen alone. The more time started to pass the more anxious they were getting.

Taehyung suddenly said, “I can’t do this.”

“What are you talking about? You can’t back away now.” Seokjin groaned in annoyance.

“Are you okay?” Namjoon asked Taehyung, noticing that he was breathing heavily.

Taehyung shook his head violently and kept muttering, “I can’t go back there. I can’t go back.”

Jimin went to sit beside Taehyung and started to calm him down, “It’s okay, dear. We are all here with you. This time, you’re not alone.”

“I think he’s having a panic attack.” Seokjin said, now aware about the matter.

“What if they catch me and lock me up again?” Taehyung was close to tearing up.

‘Again?’ Everyone was surprised at the word.

Finally, Jimin had to explain what the matter was about Taehyung. Some years ago, Taehyung was caught and taken to the facility. He had some really bad experiences in there. But fortunately he was able to escape. Jimin had found him and taken care of him ever since.

Namjoon was really upset about it. He told Jimin that he should have told them about it earlier and it wasn’t a good idea to force Taehyung into something like this when he wasn’t ready to face it.

“I’m sorry!” Jimin apologized, “I didn’t realize that the old memories might come back and haunt him.”

Everyone remained quiet, allowing Taehyung to have some time to relax. Jungkook was patting him slowly on the back. After a while, Taehyung seemed to have come to his senses.

He, himself, said, “Alright, guys!” the same old box smile returned to his pretty face, “I’m ready. Let’s do this.”

image

Back at Yoongi’s basement, Hoseok kept asking Yoongi the same question again and again, “Maybe you’re trying to escape a fight. But why didn’t you allow me to go?”

“Why were you even waiting for my permission anyway?” Yoongi rolled his eyes.

“Well, it’s better to avoid a fight if you have the chance.” Hoseok said, “But I can’t think of a benefit of yours in letting me stay.”

“Please, do me a favor.” Yoongi said, getting more annoyed by the time, “Don’t even try to think about it.”

Hoseok started to laugh. But it sounded more like he had been repeating the letter ‘k’ over and over again.

“Please stay here until I come.” Yoongi requested, “I have to go fix a room to lock up the wizard before they arrive.”

“You mean, one of those abandoned rooms upstairs?” Hoseok asked.

“Yeah! Where else can I take him?”

“Oh my Gods!” Hoseok said, “Those are some really nasty places. C’mon, now. Let’s get moving.”

“What do you mean? Are you coming with me?”

“I ain’t letting you do those dirty works alone.” Hoseok was already picking up the broomstick.

“Will you ever let me be alone for a while?” Yoongi sighed.

“Yeah!” Hoseok said, “The day you actually smile.”

And Hoseok was already on the move. What he didn’t see was that Yoongi was actually smiling behind his back.

Finally, the moment they were waiting for had arrived. The ‘Master of Shadow’ had left the facility and went for his car.

Taehyung pointed at him, “It’s him! Did you see the mark?”

There was a clear mark of a flower being encircled on his forehead. Everybody knew what that mark meant. It was a mark seen on the body of every wizard who worked for OHA. Though most of them would get the mark in an area where it could be concealed by garments, this wizard had decided to get it on his forehead instead. It was clear that he was proud to be a part of this nasty organization.

“Remember, what we have to do?” Namjoon asked one last time. Everyone nodded in union. Then, they attacked.

Though the wizard was momentarily shocked at their sudden approach, he soon regained his senses and attacked them back with his years of knowledge in magic. Though he was old, it was evident in his moves that he was a really powerful being. No wonder, he was considered the ‘Master of Shadow’.

The boys had targeted to blind his eyes first with the potion Yoongi had given them. Then they would force him to go to sleep playing the kithara of Apollo; which was again a stolen item Seokjin had provided them with.

They could have handled it easily as they had already out numbered him by four. But a guard suddenly appeared on the scene. He was unarmed. So, he soon turned back to go back to the facility to inform others.

Seokjin ran after him. Their mission could get difficult if more people joined the opposition. They had only managed to blind the wizard. Making him lose his senses completely would take some more time. Jimin was still playing the kithara fervently.

“Don’t worry!” Seokjin shouted back at them, “I’ll buy you some time.” And he was already gone inside the facility.

Soon afterwards, the wizard’s huge body fell to the ground, announcing that he was out. They tied him up as quickly as possible.

“Why isn’t Seokjin coming back?” Jungkook asked anxiously.

“We don’t have much time.” Jimin announced, “He might wake up any time.”

“Alright!” Jungkook said, “I’ll go find Seokjin. You guys take him home.”

“No!” Jimin was about to argue.

“There’s no time.” Namjoon urged him, “Let’s go back.” Then, he looked at Jungkook and said, “We’ll come back for you.”

image

Master of Shadow; the most powerful wizard the earth had ever seen, now sat powerless in front of Yoongi. He couldn’t help but feel proud of himself. No wizard had ever dared to pick up a fight with the Master. He was the most ancient wizard alive.

“Welcome back!” Yoongi called as the huge wizard opened his eyes.

“I was hoping to meet you soon, Yoongi.” The wizard said. There wasn’t any sign of fear or hesitation in those old eyes, which made Yoongi nervous. “I don’t see your friends around. Are you afraid I might spill the tea?” The wizard started to laugh in a gigantic way.

“I am not afraid of your useless threats.” Yoongi said, sounding a lot more confident than he felt.

The wizard shook his head slowly, “I pity you, Min Yoongi. You had so much potential in you.” The wizard started to cough. Yoongi waited for him to finish whatever it was he was trying to say. “I remember how proud your grandfather was of you.”

“Don’t speak of him.” Yoongi scoffed.

There was a moment of silence. Then, the wizard said, “You didn’t hope that I would provide you any information about the company, did you?”

“I can’t even dream about it.” Yoongi said, rolling his eyes, “And for the record, I don’t wish for any kind of help from you. I know enough about the company myself.”

Yoongi cleared his throat and continued, “It is not unknown to anyone how powerful of a being you are. My true intention is to keep you away from everything to make our mission easier.”

Yoongi was about to leave when the wizard called him, “I only have one question to you.” As Yoongi turned back, he asked, “Why, Yoongi? Why would you choose those inferior creatures over us, humans?”

Yoongi let out a chuckle, “You’ll never change.”

“That doesn’t answer my question.” This time, he sounded as if he was curious and not mocking anyone.

So, Yoongi decided to be honest, “Because, they are more human than any human I’ve ever known.”

Jungkook kept going around the building, searching for Seokjin. He couldn’t go inside and risk getting caught. But it had been hours. All kinds of scary thoughts were surrounding his mind. “What if they had locked him up?” he thought.

Just when Jungkook was about to lose hope, Seokjin showed up. He was limping as he walked but looked completely fine otherwise.

“Hyung!” Jungkook went straight for a hug.

Seokjin looked surprised for a moment. “You’ve waited?” he asked.

“Of course, I did.” Jungkook said, still hugging him tightly. Seokjin nodded and hugged him back. Quite some time had already passed when they let go of each other.

“Let’s go back.” Jungkook said, “They must be worried about us.” Jungkook took one of his hands over his shoulder and helped support Seokjin while they walked.

“What was that you called me, earlier?” Seokjin asked suddenly.

“Huh?” Jungkook said.

Seokjin let out a chuckle, “You’re probably hundreds of years older than me. But I’ll allow it since you’re cute.”

The others were seen at a distance. As soon as they saw them, they came running.

“Thank Gods!” Hoseok exclaimed, “You’re both safe.”

“Wow!” Seokjin said sarcastically, “All of you came back for me?” He seemed to be counting heads. Then, he added, “I don’t see Yoongi.”

“Someone has to stay with the wizard.” Namjoon informed. Then, he took Seokjin’s arm from Jungkook and put it around his shoulder. “Now, tell me, did you get hurt?” Namjoon pointed at his limping leg.

Seokjin shook his head, “It’s nothing.”

“Let’s go back home.” Taehyung suggested, “It had been a long day. I’m starving.”

Seokjin nodded and muttered under his breath, “Yeah, let’s go back…home.”

Their first mission was a success. And surprisingly no one was badly hurt. Jimin suggested they should celebrate this victory. Nothing more was needed to be said.

They took out all the huge bottles of alcohol that Yoongi had brewed over the months. They drank and drank until they couldn’t anymore. Other than Jungkook, most of the supernaturals got drunk pretty fast, even before Yoongi, himself.

But there was a minor inconvenience. One of them had to go check on the wizard every now and then. Even though he was sleeping like a baby, nobody trusted him to be left alone for too long. Who knew, what he was up to?

“I can’t even remember when the last time was that I got drunk.” Taehyung said.

“Yeah, me too.” Jimin sat beside him. Then, Taehyung started to play with Jimin’s smooth hair like a puppy.

Jungkook sighed, “Wish I could know that feeling!” He gulped down the whole content of his glass in one go.

“Alright, guys!” Seokjin announced, “I’m going to sleep, now. Who will join me?”

“Wish I could!” another huge sigh left Jungkook’s mouth.

“Jungkook-ah!” Seokjin called, “Come lie with me. Hyung knows a way for Jungkook to get the closest feeling to that of sleeping.”

Jungkook climbed on to the bed beside Seokjin. Then, Seokjin started to hum a lullaby. Everybody grew quiet, taking in the beautiful music coming out of him. The low hum grew into a complete song.

Jungkook’s eyes started to get wet. He had a vague memory of his mother humming a lullaby to him when he was just a human child. But no matter how much he tried, he couldn’t recall her face. Jungkook buried his face in Seokjin’s chest, while he softly stroked his hair.

“He sings like an angel.” Hoseok whispered to Yoongi. Though Yoongi didn’t know how an angel sang, he still nodded in agreement.

image

Yoongi was looking at Hoseok fondly as he tucked in each of the sleeping member with blanket one by one. Apparently, Seokjin’s sweet lullaby was strong enough to put everyone to sleep.

“Are you going to stay like that?” Hoseok asked Jungkook, who was still burying his face on Seokjin’s chest while hugging him tightly. Jungkook nodded and mumbled something inaudible to indicate that he was alright that way.

Hoseok placed a soft goodnight kiss on Jungkook’s head and stood up to see Yoongi staring at him. Hoseok smiled, making a twist inside Yoongi’s stomach. Then, Hoseok signaled him to get out for some fresh air.

Both of them sat on the railing of the roof in their abandoned building with their feet hanging outside. There was a bottle of whiskey Yoongi had brought to share with Hoseok. Every now and then, lightning were striking in the sky suggesting that it might rain anytime.

“Thank you for doing all this.” Hoseok said, “Even if I can’t see how you benefit from OHA’s downfall, thank you all the same.” Yoongi nodded and took a sip from the whiskey bottle.

Then, Hoseok added, “I can’t believe I’m so close to finally meeting my friend. When I first came down to earth, among all the chaos, I had lost hopes of ever reuniting with him. Thanks to you, my hopes came back.”

Hoseok looked at Yoongi and smiled. Yoongi remained silent once again.

“Do you even smile?” Hoseok sighed heavily.

“Umm…Hoseok?” Yoongi called.

“Hmm?”

“It’s a hypothetical question, okay? I mean, it’s just a supposition.”

“What is it?” Hoseok asked, curious at Yoongi’s hesitation.

“Suppose we get to the OHA. But… But your friend isn’t there?”

Hoseok laughed, “What do you mean? Where will he be then?”

“What if he’s…he’s dead?”

“Oh!” Hoseok was taken aback. They both remained silent for a while. Finally, Hoseok said, “It’s funny how I’ve never thought about it.”

Starting from small drops, it started to rain wholly. Hoseok stood up to get back. But Yoongi hold his hand, “Please, stay.”

As Yoongi wasn’t the type to make requests often, Hoseok decided to stay a little more.

“Does it rain in heaven?” Yoongi asked

Hoseok shook his head, “It never does.”

Yoongi closed his eyes and faced the sky, thinking how far he had come. He kept pondering over future possibilities. “Will we really succeed?” he thought. He knew very well, what awaited them if they were to fail.

“No, it can’t be.” Suddenly Yoongi heard Hoseok whispering, “You…How?”

Yoongi looked at Hoseok in confusion. “What happened?” he asked.

“You’re one of them.” Hoseok said. He looked terrified of Yoongi.

At that very moment, it finally occurred to Yoongi what Hoseok was trying to say. He looked down on to his chest. The mark was visible through the white wet shirt on his skin. The mark of the OHA wizards, the encircled flower.

Hoseok stood up and pulled away as Yoongi tried to reach for his hand.

“You lied to us. You are going to sell us off to those monsters, aren’t you?” Hoseok almost screamed. Yoongi couldn’t bring himself to say anything. He only kept shaking his head.

“Oh Gods! I’m such a fool.” Then, Hoseok grabbed his own head as it started to get dizzy by all those drinking he had done earlier. Then, he turned away from Yoongi and let out his wings wide open.

“No, Hoseok!” Yoongi called as Hoseok took a flight out into the storming sky.

Yoongi stood in the rain, unable to move a muscle. He had been looking at the sky until Hoseok’s figure disappeared in the darkness of the night. He couldn’t believe he had been caught when he was so close to achieve his goal.

“How dare you dreamt of a bright future?” He felt his conscience asking him, “After everything you had done, did you really think you could turn back from your sins?”

“Why? Were my mistakes too ugly to be forgiven?” Yoongi asked back.

“You are a monster. You’re true place is to dwell in the darkness.”

Yoongi closed his eyes shut. He felt like he had stabbed his friends in their backs. But he was feeling all the pain instead. This pain in his heart was something worse than that of any physical one.

Yoongi looked at his wet white shirt. He laughed at the irony of it. The day he decided to wear white, was the day it revealed the blackest part of himself.

Slowly he walked back to his basement. The place that had been used just for experiments were turned into a home to Yoongi by the most unexpected people. But now, it suddenly felt just like a basement once again.

He looked around it. Things were just the way he had left them a few hours ago. But everything inside Yoongi seemed to have changed. He felt a sudden urge to change his clothes into his older ones. As if wearing something dark again would undone the damage and bring Hoseok back.

Even so, he got changed into one of his black outfits. Then, he went to sit at the very corner of the room where his desk was. The floor was freezing. But Yoongi didn’t seem to mind.

Yoongi buried his face in between his knees. Tears began to fall abruptly. He couldn’t stop them. For the first time since his grandfather died, Yoongi let himself cry.

image

Namjoon woke up in the middle of the night as he heard something. When he listened carefully, he found out that someone was sobbing. Namjoon walked towards it and saw Yoongi sitting at a corner with his head buried in his knees. His whole body was shaking.

Namjoon hesitated but decided to ask him instead, “Is everything… Is everything alright?”

Yoongi’s head slowly rose from his knees. He looked at Namjoon and shook his head. Namjoon noticed that Yoongi’s hair was wet and his eyes were puffy and red, suggesting that he was out in the rain and had been crying for quite a long time.

Namjoon sat beside him. But he didn’t ask Yoongi anything. After a few minutes, Yoongi, himself, broke the silence, “Can I ask you something very personal?”

“Yeah!”

“Why were you casted out of heaven?”

Namjoon was surprised by this sudden approach towards his deepest, darkest secret. But for some reason, he wanted to share it with Yoongi. Yoongi was the kind of person who would understand.

“Well, it’s because I had rebelled against the Gods and Goddesses’ order.”

“But why? What did they ask you to do?”

Namjoon exhaled out a heavy breath. Then, he began to tell it from the beginning, while Yoongi listened like an attentive student learning from his master.

“The world and everything within were practically created just for Humans. But you see, Gods and Goddesses aren’t always right. They make mistakes too. The difference is that they can erase them easily.

“One of those mistakes was creating the giants. The huge creatures with so much strength but a little to no brain at all. They had been a huge obstacle to the humanity since the beginning of time. So, Zeus decided to eliminate them all.

“That’s what the order was exactly. We, angels, were to kill them off from the surface of the earth. That time, I was made the leader to complete this task with my fellow angels. But I couldn’t bring myself to do it.

“How could I? They wanted me to kill the whole race of giants just for the convenience of the humans. But in my eyes, they were just as important as humans were to this earth.”

Namjoon stopped there. He couldn’t go any further.

Yoongi nodded, “So the Gods favor them too?” By ‘them’, he basically meant the OHA.

Then, Yoongi slowly unbuttoned two of his shirt buttons and showed Namjoon what he had been hiding there all this time. Namjoon couldn’t help but gasp at the sight of that cursed mark.

image

“I’m going to reveal something about me which you might find surprising.” Yoongi began in front of the boys.

“I used to…” Yoongi hesitated. He glanced at Namjoon for assurance. Namjoon nodded for him to continue.

Yoongi cleared his throat, “I used to work for the OHA once.” There were some shouts of disbelieve. But nobody complained. They seemed rather curious to know more of the story.

Yoongi got the confidence to continue. Everyone believed everything he told them. In short, what Yoongi said were these:

Yoongi was an orphan raised by his wizard grandfather, who had taught him how to control magic. But he, too, died early, leaving Yoongi all alone in this cruel world. The ‘Master of Shadow’ used to be a close friend to his grandfather. So, after his death, the Master took all of Yoongi’s responsibility.

Since then, all Yoongi knew was hard work. He was never allowed to rest, never allowed to fail and most importantly, never allowed to give up. Yoongi grew up to dislike the ‘Master’, but didn’t dared challenge him.

After the formation of the OHA, the ‘Master of Shadow’ willingly joined the company to work on the Supernatural beings and expand his power. Yoongi had to join with him as well.

At first, Yoongi willingly worked for them too, doing all the research works and even hunting some species occasionally. At a point, he was appointed to experiment on an angel. And this angel was Hoseok’s friend, for whom Hoseok had come down to earth.

After some days of regular meeting with the angel, Yoongi started to take a liking for him. They eventually got close and became friends. When Yoongi learned that the angel’s wings were the last ingredient the OHA needed to acquire whatever their evil target was, Yoongi decided to help the angel escape.

Meanwhile, there was a rumor circulating throughout the facility that the only Gumiho they had been experimenting on had died. And before death, that Gumiho had foreseen a future. It was such that the downfall of the OHA would come by an angel’s hand.

So, instead of running away, the angel decided to tear the company apart so that it could not hurt any more creatures. But the OHA was wicked. They found out about their plan.

Unfortunately, the angel had to take his own life to stop the OHA from using his wings. And Yoongi had no other option but to flee.

Yoongi finished the narration of his story and sat down on his chair. The mood of the room grew much more depressing. Namjoon walked up to Yoongi and patted his shoulders with both hands.

“Since then, I dedicated my life on this mission. That’s why, I was so desperate to find an angel and a Gumiho. That’s why, I asked Jimin to look into the future.” Yoongi said, his eyes ready to tear up any moment, “I’m sorry for keeping this away from you, guys. It was a mistake. And now, Hoseok has left.”

Yoongi buried his face on his hands and once again started to sob. Jimin quickly came to give him a hug, while Namjoon kept patting on his shoulders.

“Don’t worry!” Jimin said, “I’m sure Hoseok will come back to us again.”

image

Momentary silence, everyone was thinking; Yoongi was still questioning his past, Jimin was getting ready to protect the members, Jungkook was missing Hoseok and Namjoon was making a plan.

Suddenly, there was a howling of a wolf from above the building. Jimin’s heart skipped a bit, “Taehyung!” he called.

Not a moment was lost. All of them went to check on Taehyung, who had gone to check on the wizard a while ago. What they found there was surprising and horrifying at the same time.

The door to the prisoner’s room was wide opened. A big black wolf lied in the corner of the room being curled up and shivering. The ‘Master of Shadow’ was nowhere to be seen.

Jungkook and Jimin went straight to the wolf. Jimin tried to calm Taehyung down saying all the comforting words he could come up with while Jungkook ran his hand on his black fur. It took much time to finally bring Taehyung back to himself again. He, then, returned to his human form.

“I’m sorry.” Taehyung wiped a tear from his face, “I couldn’t stop the wizard.”

“Oh dear!” Jimin exclaimed, “Did he hurt you?”

Taehyung nodded like a little child and added, “The door was already opened when I came here. When I tried to stop the wizard, he did something crazy to my brain.”

“Mind control!” Yoongi informed, “He’s a master at that work.”

Taehyung nodded again, “Yes, you’re right. I was under some kind of mind control thing. I felt like I…I was back at the laboratory again. I was chained up to their walls. I…I was locked up.”

“Ssh, baby.” Jimin whispered as Taehyung grew agitated. “You’re not at the facility anymore. You’re here, with us.”

“I’m so sorry.” Taehyung said once again, “I wish I could… I could change my mind. I always feel trapped inside it. It’s suffocating.”

“Don’t apologize.” Namjoon said, “It’s not something you did on purpose.”

“But one thing doesn’t make sense.” Yoongi said, “How was the door opened? The spell I put in there, it couldn’t be broken by anyone from the inside.”

“Maybe the ‘Master’ bewitched Taehyung to do it?” Seokjin suggested.

“But…” Yoongi was about to say something when Namjoon called everyone, “There is a note.”

image

Namjoon read out the note left by the ‘Master’ aloud, “All thanks to you, Min Yoongi, for doing the hardest job of locating an angel and pushing it away into our trap on your own. I hope you don’t regret the decision that you had made two years ago of betraying and working against the company.”

“No!” Yoongi let out a cry of agony.

“They caught Hoseok, didn’t they?” Jungkook’s voice cracked.

Jimin asked, “What do we do now?” while Taehyung kept shaking his head in refusal.

“We need to make a solid plan to rescue Hoseok.” Namjoon said.

Everyone kept suggesting whatever they thought right that should be done. But none of the plan seemed reliable enough. They could never fight hundreds of guards and wizards of the OHA all alone. They needed more people and strength.

“We can’t lose time.” Yoongi said finally, “If the OHA has his wings they will grow more powerful and defeating them will be impossible.”

“Then, what do you suggest we do?” Namjoon asked.

“I’ll go alone.” Yoongi said.

“That’s stupid.” Jungkook said, “We can’t even imagine facing them all together and you’re talking about fighting them alone?”

“I’m the one who’s responsible for this. So, it has to be me.” Yoongi further argued.

“But we can’t let you go without a plan.” Namjoon said rather boldly.

Yoongi nodded at him, “I think, I have one.”

Dweller of the Dark

Fandom: BTS Pairing: Jimin x Female Reader Genre: Mystery/Horror/Angst Warning: Jimin and the reader are step siblings, gothic atmosphere, mention of car accident, death, slight swearing, scary mannequin figures, nightmares, questionable behaviors, mention of bullying, anxiety, insanity, murder, blood, heartbreak and a never ending sexual tension in the air. Word Count: 5k Words Note: This is a fictional piece based on Jimin’s ‘ID: Chaos’ photoshoot. Some contents of it are disturbing. Please, read it at your own risk.

Summary: You are adopted by one of the richest couples of your country at the last stage of your teen years. At your new home, you meet a silent and reserved boy of your age and become attracted to him instantly. But they introduce him as your step-brother.

*************************************************

I stood in front of the huge stairs I saw before me. It still felt like a dream when I was told that I had been adopted. I had spent my whole life at the orphanage. I saw all of my friends getting adopted one by one until I was the only one left of my age. But now, when all of my hope of being adopted was left far into the past and when I was counting my days till I was 18, I learned that I was finally being called to live with a family. Standing in the middle of their huge mansion, I realized they were much richer than I could ever comprehend.

The old couple came, after a few minutes, and started to introduce themselves to me. They were Mr. and Mrs. Park and I was to call them by that name; not ‘mommy’-daddy’. I was to learn about their etiquette and manners, their way of clothing, eating, walking, basically everything one needed to live.

I realized they were being very formal to me. So, I decided not to have my hopes up on their affection. I reminded myself that I was going to be 18 in a few months. Then, I would be able to leave the house to go live by myself, the way I wanted to.

While I was getting acquainted with my new adoptive parents, I noticed a boy, about my age, standing above the stairs. He was leaning on the railing and looking directly at me. When our eyes met, he didn’t bother to look away. Instead, it felt like he was looking at me more intensely than before, as if he was reading me like a book.

Mrs. Park observed us for a few seconds and cleared her throat. My attention instantly came back to them. Then, she called the boy to come downstairs.

“Lovely,” she called, but it wasn’t a loving tone at all, “Come down and introduce yourself. Don’t you know, it’s bad manners to eavesdrop?”

The boy walked down the stairs slowly while his gaze was still on me. I had looked away from him in fear of disappointing the elders. But still, I couldn’t help catching a glance of him staring back at me every now and then.

The boy stood in front of me but didn’t say anything. Instead, Mrs. Park said, “This is Park Jimin, our only son.”

Son? I was shocked at the revelation. He looked much younger to be their son. But why the fact that he would be my step brother was bothering me more, I couldn’t understand.

I noticed that the boy was wearing a peculiar all black outfit. He raised his hand in front of me to shake mine. He was also wearing peculiar black gloves in his hand.

His mother saw me hesitating and informed that it was for medical purposes. He was allergic to the sun and required to wear black at day time to block the sunlight. I nodded and took his hand. I didn’t know if it was my imagination but I felt like he squeezed my hand a bit before letting it go. The boy left without saying a word to me.

Then, Mrs. Park told me something I didn’t expect, “You see, Jimin is an only child and he gets very lonely at times. So, we decided to adopt a son last year. But he was killed in a car accident.”

“I’m so sorry.” Automatically came out of my mouth.

Mrs. Park nodded and said, “I hope Jimin likes you as much as he liked his brother.”

image

I was given a huge room decorated uniquely all for myself. I was relieved to be alone since I came into the mansion. I decided to sleep early being exhausted after the long journey from the orphanage.

As soon as I went to bed, the thought of Jimin squeezing my hand for a split second came to my mind. Then, I thought of how strange his features were. His jawline was sharp but with chubby cheeks above. His eyes looked tired but pleasant with dark brown iris. And his lips were so puffy and pink.

From the next day onward, I started to have busy days. I met my governess and she handed me a routine I was to follow for a week. I was appointed for many lessons such as sewing, table manners, history, speaking etc. I was told to eat separately until I learned my basic lessons on behaviors. I didn’t even meet my parents let alone Jimin for a whole week. My new home felt like hell to me already.

But fortunately, my governess was taken ill and I got some free days to spend without any lessons. One such day, I decided to explore some territories of the house.

I came to an empty room with some mannequins in it. They were all dressed in matching outfits. I got inside to get a closer look at those. As I was about to leave after finding nothing much to look at, I saw Jimin standing between me and the door.

I yelped immediately. Then, I tried to give some valid reason for my presence in that room. “I was lost.” I said.

Jimin nodded and said, “It’s not surprising to be lost in this huge mansion.” My eyes were opened wide. It was the first time I heard Jimin speak and his voice was definitely not what I had imagined. It was high pitched and I dare say, angelic.

Jimin went to one of the mannequins and fixed its mask. I noticed that other than those masks, Jimin was wearing the same clothes as the mannequins. I was curious to know its purpose but couldn’t muster up the courage to say so.

Jimin looked at me for a while as if reading my mind. Then, he said, “I, myself, dress them every day.”

“Why?” I tried to ask, but my voice sounded scratchy. So, I cleared my throat and asked again, “What are these?”

“These?” Jimin asked, raising his eyebrows, “These are the memories of my dead siblings.”

Dead siblings? But I thought he had lost only a step-brother. I didn’t want to interfere with their family issue. So, I didn’t inquire about the matter. Instead, I habitually said, “I’m sorry for your step-brother. I heard what happened.”

“But I’m not.” Jimin casually said while fixing the mannequins’ clothes.

Another mysterious answer. I decided to take my leave without diving into an unwanted conversation. So, I said, “I forgot that I had some homework left. If you’ll excuse me, I need to go.”

I got out of that suffocating room as soon as Jimin nodded.

image

That night, I had the weirdest dream. I saw myself in that mannequin room again, surrounded by more mannequins than there originally were. I tried looking for the exit, but there wasn’t any. Suddenly the figures started to move. They started to crowd around me. I kept screaming in fear but there was no sound coming from me.

Then, the scene changed. I was in a dark room with a window at the ceiling. The large moon was throwing its light, but not enough to illuminate the room. I tried to get up. But I was chained to the bed by both of my hands. I tried to get rid of it by force. Then, both of my hands got sliced up.

I woke up with cold sweat. My room was dark just like my dream. As I kept panting, my eyes got adjusted to the dark and I could make out my surroundings clearly. I looked at my door and saw that it was open. I couldn’t remember keeping it open before going to bed.

Without thinking much about it, I walked up to it and closed the door and afterwards came back to my bed. I lied on one side and forced my eyes shut to go back to sleep.

Then, I felt someone sitting beside me on the bed. I looked through the corner of my eyes and saw that it was Jimin. I sat up right away.

“Don’t be afraid.” He said softly, as if entering someone’s room while they sleep was no big deal, “It’s just me.”

I stammered, “How d-did you come…come to my room?” This time, I remembered clearly to have locked my door before I came to sleep.

Jimin smiled, “I have my ways around the house.” Then, he stood up and poured a glass of water from my bedside table. He sat down much closer to me again and handed me the glass.

I was questioning his sanity at that point. I didn’t dare shout out to call anyone for help. My room was on the furthest corner of the house. So, it was possible that no one would hear me anyway. Even if they did, they would definitely side with their son over me.

“Take it.” Jimin now took my hands and placed the glass in between them himself.

My hands were shivering. But I still managed to gulp down the water. Jimin carefully caressed my hair and whispered, “You can rest all you want. The governess won’t show up anytime soon.” Then, he smiled in a way that gave me Goosebumps.

He took the empty glass from me and put it back at the table. He looked at me and said, “Now, go straight to sleep like a good girl.” He patted my head a little more. But he was still sitting by my side.

I didn’t know what to say or do. I sat there dumbfounded for a long time. But I noticed something different in Jimin. He was not covered in garments from his head to toe. He was in his night clothes; a beautiful loose white satin shirt showing his bare chest.

With the change of clothes, his attitude seemed to have changed as well. He looked more free and mischievous now contrary to his bold and short spoken self of the day.

I also noticed tattoos on him; which I found surprising considering how much of a rule maniac these people were. There was one on his neck which said ‘Tailor of Chaos’ while another a little lower above his chest called ‘Artemis’.

Jimin finally got up and said in an offended way, “I’m sorry, I thought you might want a company.” Then, he abruptly left.

image

Next day I was asked to have breakfast with the family. When I arrived at the dining room, Mr. Park announced that I should join them in every meal from then on. The conversation at the breakfast sounded lifeless to me. Jimin was back in his all black outfit covering most of himself. With that, his serious attitude was back as well. Looking at him, I felt like the Jimin from last night was just my imagination.

Few more days had passed since my nightmare. I didn’t have any weird encounters with Jimin anymore. I saw him every now and then. But he never said a word to me. He passed me like I was invisible. If I had thought that nothing could go wrong till I became 18, then I had never been more wrong in my life.

One night I woke up from my disturbed sleep. I could clearly hear people singing downstairs. It was the kind of singing we hear at the church when people sing hymns together.

“What time is it?” I thought. I checked the clock on my bedside table and saw that it was 12:07 a.m. I was curious. So, I got out of my bed to check out what was going on.

At the last few steps of the stair I stopped promptly. There were almost a hundred people gathered in the living room, facing the window. The huge velvety curtains were drawn and the full moon of the night shone brightly at their faces. All of these faces bore the same expression, singing the same syllables at the same time.

Never in my life had I experienced anything such as this. I was too surprised to move. But I didn’t need to stand there for too long because someone already grabbed my waist and pulled me into a dark corridor.

A scream out of fright wanted to leave my mouth. But the person grabbed my mouth tightly, not letting a single sound escape. I was pinned to the wall and so I couldn’t move. As I calmed down, I saw it was Jimin again. His gaze was intense in my eyes. He put one of his fingers to his lips to show that I was not to make a noise. I nodded slowly to indicate that I understood. So, he let go of his hand grabbing onto my mouth.

He peeked at the living room to check if they had noticed us. He was relieved to see that the other party was unaware of our presence. He looked back at me again. His piercing look sent butterflies inside me. I was still pressed between Jimin and the wall, our chests going up and down as we breathe in union.

Then, Jimin’s hand slowly ran through my arm to hold me by the wrist. He pulled me slightly and led the way upstairs. I followed him without any hesitation. We finally reached the very top in front of the door to the attic.

image

The attic was filled with some old furniture and they were quite dusty. Jimin gestured to me to sit on a clean stool, still not saying anything aloud. I understood that we were still not safe to make noises. So, I sat down as quietly as I could.

Jimin had his attention outside, putting his ear closer to the door to hear what was going on. I sat there staring at his slim but seemingly strong figure without knowing what else to do. He was in his night white shirt again, showing his bare chest and looking extremely attractive for me to look away.

After what seemed like half an hour the singing stopped. There were faint sounds of footsteps, the front gate opening and vehicles starting. Silence again. Then came the clear sound of footsteps in the second floor corridor and the locking of the door. Everything suggested that Mr. and Mrs. Park had gone to bed after the guests had left.

Jimin stayed silent for a few more minutes. Then, he said, “Alright! They’ve gone to bed. As far as I know, this sleep will last until tomorrow evening.”

I still remained quiet because I didn’t know how to react just then. Jimin came closer and stood before me leaving only an inch of space between us. I looked up at his face. He smiled; which was very rare of him as I didn’t see him doing that these days after the night intrusion incident.

He bent a little forward and said, “Do you want to go out with me?”

I nodded almost immediately. It had been a month since I came into this house far away from the nearby town. And I wasn’t even allowed to leave, not even to take a walk outside. In my knowledge, I had never seen Jimin going out as well. How could he? He was allergic to the sun!

We sneaked out through a door I had never seen before into the tangerine garden at the backyard. It was larger than a regular backyard. In fact it was huge. We could be lost at this place if we weren’t careful enough as to where we were heading to.

We were walking side by side in the moonlit light. Our arms were touching for a split second every now and then. Finally, Jimin said out loud, “Can I hold your hand while we walk?”

Blood rushed to my face immediately. Hesitantly I nodded. I was glad about the fact that he was at least asking me before going for the hand directly. After how he had entered my bedroom while I was asleep, it was possible for him to grab my hand without my concern.

After some moments, Jimin asked, “Why are you so quiet?”

“I...I don’t know what to say.” I replied.

“But I know, you want to ask something. Why are you hesitating? You should know by now that you are free to talk to me about anything.”

So I decided to ask, “Who were they?”

“So straight forward! Alright! I’ll allow it.” Then, Jimin chuckled, “They were my parents’ family and friends.”

“What were they doing?” I asked directly once again. I didn’t have the patience to wait.

“Well, you see,” Jimin continued, “It is a kind of ritual, very traditional and ancient. They do it at full moon every month to show their devotion to the virgin goddess of the Moon, Artemis.”

“I don’t believe you.” I said as I found it hard to believe. But the mention of Artemis sent a shiver down my spine.

“Oh!” Jimin said, as if he was shocked, “Didn’t you know we are in a cult?”

I stopped walking and my eyes grew larger at his unusual reply. Jimin started to laugh. I shook my head. He was probably messing up with me.

But his face grew serious again. He looked at my eyes for a while. Then, his gaze travelled to my lips and stopped there. He whispered, “Can I kiss you?” while still staring at my lips.

My own attention went to his puffy red lips and I nodded. Jimin slowly came forward and kissed me softly. He pulled away a little but again pressed his puffy lips on mine, this time going harder than before. My hands were running through his soft fur like hair while he held me firmly by the waist.

I can’t tell how long our kiss lasted. But when he let go, I felt an urge to pull him back again. Then, Jimin said something which didn’t make sense to me. He said, “I'll give you a chance to run away right now.” His voice sounded dead serious which kind of scared me.

So, I said instead, “Please, let’s go back. You’re scarring me.”

A few more days passed. Jimin started to act distant in front of his parents again. And I didn’t make any move either. I was too embarrassed about the night’s incident in the tangerine field.

However, when his parents had gone out and not to be returned for the next two days, Jimin made the first move. He came to my reading room while I was reading a book. I noticed that today, he was wearing an all-white outfit contrary to his black one. Seeing him, I put the book aside.

“Hi, Jimin!” I tried to sound as normal as I could.

“I have something for you.” He handed me a bag.

I looked inside and saw that there was a lump of white clay that is used to make sculptures. I gasped in excitement, “How did you know I like to make sculptures?”

Jimin sat down on a chair beside me and shrugged, “Your Governess told me.” So, he had been inquiring about me all this time while ignoring me all the same.

“Can I try it now?” I asked, not wanting to waste a single minute.

Jimin smiled at me and said, “I don’t see why not.”

Jimin sat across the floor watching me attentively as I did what I liked to do best. Making big and small figures with clay was something I found comforting. It had been my escape in my earlier days at the orphanage.

I asked him how he got them and he informed me that his step brother liked to play with clay as well. I remembered about the accident Mrs. Park had mentioned and how close Jimin was to him. I asked him, “Do you miss him?”

“Who?” At first Jimin looked confused, then he seemed to understand whom I was directing the question to, “Oh, no! Not really. I barely remember him.”

“But I thought you liked him.”

“If I’m being honest, I despised him. That’s all.” Jimin said it so casually as if he wasn’t talking about someone who was dead. I was taken aback. I didn’t expect that answer at all.

Jimin seemed to understand it from my expression. So he further said, “He used to mock me a lot. He never called me by my name. Instead he liked to call me a ‘girl’. He seemed to enjoy calling me that.”

“I’m really sorry for that.” I said.

Jimin let out a chuckle, “Don’t be. Because all I heard was him calling me pretty and beautiful.”

“I don’t think you should despise him for that though.” I said, “You see, it’s only natural for him to be jealous of you. You were probably someone he had always dreamed to be.”

Jimin looked at me so earnestly that I wondered if I had said anything wrong. Then, he said, “Wow! I’m surprised by your take on the matter. How come I’ve never thought about it like that?” I shrugged and continued to do my work.

“So, tell me,” Jimin asked, “Are you jealous of me?”

I shook my head and said, “I’m not. But…” I stopped there. I thought of confessing the thing that had been nagging me for a while.

“But?” Jimin urged me to continue.

“I’m more uncomfortable about the fact that you are my step brother.” I finally let out the burden.

“Why?” Jimin asked, as if he didn’t get it.

I decided not to answer. Because by then, I had realized that it would be impossible to explain to Jimin why siblings shouldn’t be sexually attracted to each other.

I was preparing my bed to go to sleep early when I heard a knock on my door. I opened it immediately thinking it was Jimin and so it was. But there was an expression in his face which I had never seen before. It was fear. He barged into my room and closed the door behind.

“Are you alright?” I asked.

Jimin kept shaking his head and mumbling something under his breath. He was sweating and his movements suggested that he was worried. I tried to calm him down. I said, “Hey, Jimin, slow down. Would you like a glass of water?”

Jimin sat down on my bed promptly. Then, he looked at me and said, “You should have run away when I gave you the chance.”

“What is he talking about?” I thought.

Jimin continued, “Tonight is the night. There will be no exception. They will come. They will take you. They will…” He couldn’t finish and started to shake his head fervently.

I went to sit beside him, “Who are coming?”

“You remember the rituals, right?” He asked. “The real event is tonight. It’s a lunar eclipse. Artemis is waiting for a soul, a soul that belonged to a virgin.”

“That’s enough, Jimin!” I said. I was wondering if Jimin had actually lost his mind.

Jimin shook his head in desperation, “I’m not making this up. They had been doing it for a long time. They did the same to my previous siblings.”

“What did they do exactly?” I asked, trying to keep up with the nonsense conversation.

“They killed their earthly bodies. They called it a sacrifice for the Moon goddess.” Jimin stopped for a while and said it almost in a whisper, “Tonight, it’s you.” In the dim light of my room, Jimin looked like a lunatic.

I said, “Please, Jimin. I beg you to stop. You’re scaring me.”

“Don’t you understand, it is something you should be scared of.” Jimin screamed at me. I was too stunned to say anything anymore. This time, I was sure that Jimin was not in his right mind.

Jimin suddenly realized what he had done. He buried his head in his hands and started to cry. Seeing him in such a vulnerable state was painful. I desperately wanted to comfort him, to say something to make him feel safe.

There was a revelation in my heart at that precise moment. I realized for the first time that I was in love with him. Even if he was an insane or a dangerous man, I didn’t care about any of it. All I cared about was being there with him, through everything.

I sat there silently while Jimin cried. This continued for a while. Then, Jimin came back to his senses. He looked at me with so much sadness in his eyes and said, “Can I sleep with you tonight?” I nodded.

We climbed on to the bed together, wrapped in a blanket. I placed his head on my chest while Jimin held on to me tightly like a scared child. I kept caressing his soft hair slowly. At first, I could feel him shaking slightly. But it stopped after a while and his breathing was even. I was glad that he was asleep.

image

I woke up due to the sound of people singing downstairs. I looked around me. My room was empty and Jimin was nowhere to be found. As I tried to get up, I realized that I was being chained to my bed by one hand. Suddenly Jimin’s warning rang in my mind. Maybe it was all true. These people were going to sacrifice me in the name of Artemis.

I started to pull my hand as hard as I could. The sound of the people singing was surrounding my head. This time, the song sounded more melancholic than the one I heard before. I pulled and pulled until my small thin hand came out of the binding of the chain.

I moved straight to the door. It was locked. “Shit!” I swore. But I remembered about the extra key on my wardrobe and went to get it. I threw away everything out of it in search of my precious key. When I finally found it, I opened the door as noiselessly as I could.

I headed towards Jimin’s room without any delay. He was the only one who would help me in this situation. As I reached his room, I found that it was just as empty as mine. Suspicion started to grow on me. Maybe, Jimin was one of them. Intentionally or not, he would hurt me as well.

At that moment, the singing stopped. I heard the opening of the gate and footsteps of people going out just like the previous night. Only now it sounded clearer as I was not in the attic. I wondered if their so called ritual was over. I decided to go check on it myself.

At the foot of the stairs, I found that most of the people had already left and the others were on their way to leave. I sighed. So, it was just a prank Jimin was playing on me. There was nothing such as the sacrifice to the Moon goddess, even if the rituals were true.

But what I saw next, changed my mind immediately. The reddish light of the moon was glowing on a bed placed near the window. Someone was lying on the bed surrounded by blood. I was horrified to find that that someone was Jimin, himself.

“Jimin!” I screamed as I ran to his bed. Some of them were glancing at me as they went out. But they didn’t seem to care about me at all.

Jimin hadn’t died yet. He squeezed my hand with a little force as I grabbed his. He looked at me with the same sad eyes that I had seen a few hours ago. His lips were shaking. He was struggling to say something. But not a single sound escaped his mouth.

“Stay with me, Jimin.” I said, while sobbing, “Stay with me, please.”

Jimin’s body gave a violent shake for a second. Then, it was still, announcing that he had left and no matter how much I pleaded, he was not coming back to me again. As the realization kicked in, I couldn’t cry anymore.

Mrs. Park came behind me and bent down on her knees to say, “My lovely boy! How brave of him to take your place in the sacrifice willingly. You mustn’t cry, dear. He made the right decision. He is now with the goddess and a part of her hunters.”

I remained quiet. My mind couldn’t bear the fact that a mother was happy to sacrifice her only son for the pleasure of a goddess. Then, Mrs. Park left.

I sat there motionless, all alone with Jimin for quite a long time. I found that his body had grown cold. I slowly leaned down and placed a soft kiss on his cold lips. I tasted and swallowed a drop of his blood from there. Then, I looked up to the blood red moon. I whispered, “I love you.”

image

After months of diligent labor, my greatest creation was made. Looking at the finished face of the sculpture, for the first time in a while, a smile grew on my face. It was finally done. Now, I could rest.

“Lovely,” Mrs. Park called me, “Are you done with your work?”

“Yes, mother!” I replied, “It’s all done perfectly. Come, take a look.”

Mrs. Park walked towards the face I had created and looked at it intensely for a long time, as if she had forgotten where she was. Finally, she looked back at me. I could see tears forming in her eyes.

“It’s beautiful!” she said, “We should have her in the living room.” I nodded in agreement.

Like I had imagined, all she would see in my creation was the face of the moon goddess, Artemis. Only if she had taken a much closer look, a look from her heart and not just the eyes. She could have seen the distinct features; the sharp jaws with chubby cheeks, the tired looking pleasant eyes and puffy lips.

It was the face of my Jimin. The Jimin who was no less in beauty compared to that of any mortal or God. The Jimin whose bravery was far better than the hunters of Artemis. The Jimin who was the representation of love in a human form.

Why would I be devoted to a mere goddess when I had already seen something much more beautiful in a mortal?

Mrs. Park made her appearance once more as I was showing no sign to break my attention from the sculpture. “Your sister has arrived.” She announced, “You have to welcome her.”

“I’ll be there in a moment.”

“Don’t forget to put on your best dress.” She reminded me for the millionth time, “You are allergic to the sun, remember?”

Chapter 1 - Chapter 2 - Chapter 3 - Chapter 4 - Chapter 5 - Chapter 6 - Chapter 7 - Chapter 8 - Chapter 9 - Chapter 10  [Complete]

Yoongi knew the way to the cell where they kept their new prisoners. He disguised himself in the form of a guard and made his way to Hoseok. As he reached the dim lighted room, the first thing that caught his eyes were Hoseok’s huge white wings. He was curled up inside it and sleeping rather peacefully.

“Hoseok!” Yoongi whispered, not wanting to alarm the guards outside, “Hoseok, wake up!”

Hoseok opened his eyes and looked at Yoongi with confusion. Yoongi feared that he might start shouting at him again and give away their position. But instead, Hoseok jumped to his feet in excitement and came to hug him through the bars.

“Oh, Yoongi!” Hoseok said, “I’m so sorry to have flown away like that. I was being irrational. I should have listened to you.”

“Ssh!” Yoongi hushed him down, “We’ll talk later. I’m going to get you out of here.” Hoseok nodded.

Yoongi noticed that instead of regular lock in the bars, they had put a spell on it, which Yoongi knows pretty well how to undone. It would take some time but it could be done. Yoongi started to draw some letters in the air and they started to glow. The dark room was filled with colorful lights from them.

After almost half an hour, all the glowing letters merged into one and the door opened. Hoseok gasped at the sight of it. He was about to appreciate the skill when there was a clap in front of him behind Yoongi. Both of them yelped in fright.

Kim Joon-Hwi stood there along with his guards and wizards. “Welcome back, Min Yoongi.” He said.

They had been caught. There was only one way Yoongi could delay their inevitable fate. Delay, but not wholly diminish it. Yoongi got inside the cell with Hoseok and produced a purple aurora all around it by a wave of his hand.

Kim Joon-Hwi and his guards looked puzzled. One of the wizards came forward and whispered something on Kim Joon-Hwi’s ear. He let out a chuckle, “Are you trying to shield yourself inside that cell?”

Yoongi didn’t answer. Kim Joon-Hwi shook his head, “How long do you think you can continue this way? You are now my prisoners. And I will get to you soon.”

image

“If it weren’t for my stupidity, we wouldn’t have ended up in here.” Hoseok said.

“The fault is mine.” Yoongi said, “I shouldn’t have kept secrets from you.”

They sat on the floor of the cell that was currently glowing through the light of the aurora produced by Yoongi. Two guards and a wizard were keeping watch at them.

Hoseok sighed deeply, “I learned what had happened to my friend. But I don’t blame you. You did everything you could. It was his fate.”

Yoongi couldn’t bring himself to say anything. Hoseok continued, ‘’But I’m not as brave as he was. I can’t take my own life. They…They will take away my wings. And then…” Hoseok suddenly burst into tears.

Yoongi went to sit closer. He put his hand on Hoseok’s shoulder and said, “I promise, I won’t let that happen to you.”

“But how?” Hoseok asked while wiping a tear from his cheek.

Suddenly, a big black wolf jumped at the guarding wizard out of nowhere. Yoongi smirked at a shocked Hoseok, “They are here!” As planned, the ‘Bulletproof’ boys had come to their rescue and they had managed to knock out the guards and the wizard.

“Missed us?” Namjoon asked Hoseok sarcastically which made him laugh out in excitement.

They got out of the cell as quietly as possible without raising any alarm in the other OHA members outside. But it would be rather hard for seven people to sneak out of this huge place without being seen.

“I know a dark tunnel that can lead us outside.” Seokjin suggested, “I used that last time I was here to get out.”

So, Seokjin lead them through a door that said ‘Staff Only’ and once they got inside it, it was all dark. “Keep going straight.” Seokjin said and they followed.

They had been walking through it for some time, when Namjoon asked, “Are you sure, this is the right way?” But Seokjin didn’t reply.

They got hit by the wall in front of them announcing that it was a dead end. “What the…” Jimin was about to swear when the lights were turned on. As they looked back they found out that they were inside a huge cage, locked up. And Seokjin was standing outside of it.

One by one, the realization hit them; Seokjin had betrayed them. Now, they were all caught by the OHA. All of them at once.

Jungkook grabbed onto the bars of the cage, his eyes full of pain. He called, “Hyung!”

Seokjin looked away as tears started to prickle his eyes. He said before leaving, “I’m sorry, guys. I had to do it.”

image

The day they had come to abduct the ‘Master of Shadow’ and Seokjin had followed a guard inside the facility, something happened; which was beyond the other’s knowledge.

Seokjin ran after the guard and soon got hold of him. But he was an excellent fighter. When the guard injured one of Seokjin’s legs, Seokjin panicked and hit his head with a statue nearby. Immediately, the guard dropped dead.

It was the first time, Seokjin had killed. He kneeled down to inquire if the guard was really dead or not when he heard a voice from behind, “How did you get inside?”

Seokjin froze. The voice sounded familiar. It sent a shiver down his spine. What he saw before him as he looked back was something truly astonishing. Seokjin couldn’t believe his own eyes.

“Father?” he called, with uncertainty.

Kim Joon-Hwi looked at Seokjin for a moment. Then, recognition came to his eyes. He called back, “Seokjin!” He came forward and embraced him, “Oh, my son!” and patted his back.

“I’ve found you, father.” Seokjin said, fighting back tears.

“How are you?” Kim Joon-Hwi asked after releasing him from his arms, “What brings you to my lab?”

“Your lab?” Seokjin shook his head in disbelief, “So, you’re the one who’s been hunting those creatures?”

“Son!” Kim Joon-Hwi called. He looked like he was hurt by Seokjin’s question. He remained quiet for some time, thinking. Then he added, “Are you calling me a monster now? Did you even ask why I’ve been doing all these?”

“Why?” Seokjin asked flatly, “Tell me, father! Why are you doing this?”

“For you.”

“For me?”

“Yes, son!” Kim Joon-Hwi’s eyes started to get wet as he continued, “You remember how your mother had taken you away from me when you were just a child? I begged her not to. But she said that I was just a mere human and so that I wasn’t worthy of keeping you, a demigod, all to myself. So, I decided to prove to her that I am worthy of being your father. And this was the only way.”

“No!” Seokjin shook his head, “This is not the right way. You can’t kill the innocents to get your son back.”

Kim Joon-Hwi nodded his head and said, “I know, son, what you are thinking of me. But trust me, I did it all for you. For us.”

There was silence. Nobody said anything for a long time. Kim Joon-Hwi continued, “Don’t you want to have that happy family back again? You, me and your mother? All together with no inequity of power?”

“Family?” Seokjin whispered. He had wanted it more than anything in his life. “Yes!” He finally answered.

“Don’t worry, son,” Kim Joon-Hwi said, “We are closer than you think to finally achieve that. All we need now…” He paused for a moment. Then he wetted his lips with his tongue and said, “are your friends.”

“My friends?” Seokjin was bewildered, “Are you asking me to hurt them?”

“No, son.” He said, “Nobody needs to be hurt.”

But Seokjin shook his head in denial, “I can’t do this to them. They are my friends.”

Kim Joon-Hwi further said, “But if I promise not to hurt them, will you bring them here for me, son? For the sake of our broken family?”

Seokjin thought for a moment. His father had been hurting and killing other species all this time, for them. Then, he looked at the dead guard lying on the floor. Hadn’t he killed for his friends as well? Weren’t they going to kill many more to achieve their own goal?

“You promise you won’t hurt them?” Seokjin asked for confirmation.

Kim Joon-Hwi hugged him and said, “I promise.”

image

“I should have known it!” Yoongi was frustrated with himself, “It was one of us who helped the Master escape.”

“I can’t believe we had a spy among us.” Jimin sat down in disbelief.

At that time, Kim Joon-Hwi entered the room followed by his son. Seokjin kept his head down, avoiding eye contacts with his friends. Some guards and wizards entered the room after them.

“Min Yoongi,” Kim Joon-Hwi called, “Didn’t I say, you were my prisoner now? I hope you know very well how I punish the traitors.”

Seokjin reminded his father immediately, “Father, you’ve promised.” Him addressing the CEO of OHA as father momentarily shocked them all.

“My son!” He didn’t bother looking back at him, “I think there is a lot more you still need to learn. You won’t survive in this world with that naïve brain of yours.”

“I’m not sure I understand.” Seokjin said, his voice sharp.

Kim Joon-Hwi laughed. It sounded deafening to his ears. He said, “What you need to understand is that promises are made to broken. You can’t trust someone for his words only.”

“Father!” Seokjin called him in frustration.

But Kim Joon-HWi continued, “I need that angel’s wings and the blood of the Gumiho. Only then, I can be more powerful than the Gods and Goddesses above.”

“But it wasn’t about power, was it?” Seokjin asked, desperately wanting his father to say that he didn’t mean it, that his decision of betraying his friends wasn’t wrong.

“Huh!” Kim Joon-Hwi scoffed, “Everything’s about power. You think that I have no dignity in me? That I will want to get back with Aphrodite even after she had insulted me for being a mortal?” Then, he yelled, “No! I’ll make sure the last thing she’ll know before dying is that we, humans, are capable of anything.”

Kim Joon-Hwi ordered the guards and the wizards, “Bring the angel out and work on his wings. Be careful! Don’t make the same mistake again. I need the wings to be cut out while he’s still alive.”

“No!” Both Seokjin and Yoongi screamed at the same time. Two guards held Seokjin back as he came forward to attack his father causing him to fall on the ground.

“How dare you attack me, you little freak?” Kim Joon-Hwi yelled at his son. He told the guards holding onto Seokjin, “Lock him away. I will deal with him later.”

“Don’t you try hurting my friends!” Namjoon threatened Kim Joon-Hwi, “I will make you pay for every inch of it.”

“Think about saving yourself, you devil!” Kim Joon-Hwi said and turned back to go while the guards and wizards took away the struggling Seokjin and Hoseok.

image

There was nothing Yoongi could do to open up the lock from the inside. He kept muttering things and putting spells while everyone waited impatiently. Soon, it was clear that the spells were not working.

“The only way out will be us, fighting the guards once they come to take me.” Jimin finally said, “Didn’t you hear what the CEO said? He needed my blood along with Hoseok’s wings.”

Jimin was right. After some time, three guards came. One of them announced, “I’m going to bring the Gumiho out. Everyone step back or you’ll be shot to death.”

The gate to their cage was opened. Two guards entered while the other stood outside pointing his gun at them. Namjoon pointed at the guard outside. Taehyung nodded and turned himself into the huge wolf and attacked the guards those came inside. The one outside missed a shot at Taehyung as he was moving too fast.

Before they could figure out the situation properly, Jungkook and Yoongi were already on the move. Jungkook bit a guard down while Yoongi froze the one outside with his spell temporarily. But one of them managed to escape.

“Let’s get out of here before the...” Namjoon couldn’t finish the sentence when the emergency alarm went off.

“Oh shit!” Yoongi swore, “We’re fucked.”

The sirens went off, making it hard to hear one another properly. They had come out of the tunnel. But there were guards and wizards all around, coming at them with their weapons.

Namjoon turned to Yoongi and shouted through the deafening noise of the alarm, “We will fight them. You search for Hoseok.”

When Yoongi was about to leave, Namjoon grabbed his hand and added, “Look for Seokjin too.” Yoongi nodded and ran towards the stairs.

Namjoon looked at the remaining members by his side, the latest to join their team, ‘the golden trio’ as they liked to call them. He tried to put on a smile on his face as he said, “No matter what happens today, know this; if we go down, we go down fighting!”

“Fighting!” Jimin and Jungkook shouted in union while Taehyung, being in his wolf form, howled. Then they all jumped on their enemies.

Namjoon spread out his huge black wings and took a flight. From above, he could clearly see everyone’s position. Even though inside a building, it looked like a battle field. He thought to himself, “So, this is how it feels to be in a real battle.”

Jungkook aimed for the guards with the wooden arrows first and started to disarm them one by one. Because of his amazing speed, the guards failed to catch up with him. But, the number of guards were too many for a single vampire to handle.

Namjoon got down with a huge force and caused some guards to fall back. He used his wings to disarm a bunch of them all at once. Jungkook looked at him in awe for a moment before going back to fight again. Despite their situation, it brought a smile on Namjoon’s face.

The wizards and guards were mostly focusing on Jimin. But his swift movements helped him to escape their traps. He dodged almost every bullets being fired at him.

Taehyung, on the other hand, jumped at those Jimin had failed to notice. He attacked them suddenly, making them miss their targets.

They were handling it well until the ‘Master of Shadow’ appeared. They didn’t notice his approach. He made his way directly to Jimin through the messy fight. Then, he placed his thumb on Jimin’s forehead, making him still instantly.

image

Jimin looked around in panic as his surrounding changed abruptly. Wherever he looked, all he could see were large trees. It didn’t make any sense to him. How could he be teleported into a whole different place in a second?

“Jimin-ah!” a familiar voice spoke from behind him.

Jimin looked back at the owner of the voice. Even before he saw the face, he knew very well whom it belonged to. “Sarang?” he called, disbelief spread on his face as he looked at the person he once used to call the ‘love of his life’.

The girl raised her hand towards him. Jimin reached to touch her hand, doubting that his hand might go right through it. But it was solid as it could be. Jimin sighed in relief.

The girl slowly led him out of the forest into a path. “Where are you taking me?” as soon as the question left his mouth, he knew the answer immediately.

He knew exactly where she was leading him to. He knew exactly what was going to happen next. He had lived this precise moment. He had lived it more than a hundred years ago.

“No!” he wanted to scream. He wanted to stop walking. He wanted to take away his hand from her. But none of his actions seemed to belong to him anymore. He was, as if, a puppet made to do whatever the puppeteer wished to be done.

He was brought to the middle of the bazaar of a village. The girl let go of his hand and ran away to a nearby house. One by one, the villagers appeared in front of him, each holding a torch made out of fire. Jimin was surrounded by monsters. He was surrounded by humans.

The leader among them shouted, “Let’s free our forest of this monster’s control. Let’s burn the Gumiho down.” And they all raised their torches towards the sky before coming at him. He was going to be burned. There wasn’t enough time for him to make it rain to stop the fire.

Suddenly, Jimin remembered. These people belonged to the past. They were all dead now. Jimin, himself, had killed them. He had made his escape from them, burning the whole village down in the process.

Jimin forced his eyes shut and concentrated really hard. A memory suddenly peaked at his mind’s eyes. It was of him and the ‘Bulletproof’ boys on a cold snowy day. They were gathered before the fireplace, all wrapped up inside a single huge blanket.

He remembered that he was supposed to be at the OHA facility with his friends, fighting a new group of humans. He needed to come back to reality. He needed to save his friends and himself.

Jimin opened his eyes.

Yoongi kept searching aimlessly through the empty second floor corridor and the rooms within. It seemed like every member of the OHA had gone to fight his friends.

He was worried about them. But mostly, he was worried about Hoseok. He had promised to protect him at all cost. But those monsters had taken him away in front of Yoongi. And Yoongi couldn’t do anything about it.

He kept muttering the freezing spell under his breath in case any guard showed up. He stopped abruptly in front of a seemingly empty room. Hoseok was lying on the floor, eyes closed, in a pool of blood.

Yoongi immediately ran towards him and kneeled down. Blood stained his arms and clothes. As he took Hoseok’s head on his lap, Hoseok opened his eyes slowly. Tears were glistening on his eyes and cheeks.

“You came?” Hoseok said, his voice merely a whisper.

Yoongi stared at him silently. It was too late. They had cut off his wings. Yoongi had failed his friend once again. At that precise moment, nothing seemed to matter to Yoongi anymore. He would have gladly ceased to exist if given the chance.

“They had taken my wings away.” Hoseok said, as if he was informing about someone’s death. A moment of silence passed between them. Then, Hoseok continued, “Go get him before he uses my wings on himself. He would hurt you once he became too powerful.”

A tear fell from Yoongi’s eye. How could Hoseok think about them being hurt when he, himself, was surrounded by his own blood?

“It’s all my fault.” Yoongi said, “I shouldn’t have brought any of you to fight these monsters.”

Hoseok raised his head closer to Yoongi’s chest. He hugged Yoongi around the neck and said, “Thanks to you I realized that some things are worth fighting for. I fought for my friends. And I’m glad that I did. Even if it caused me to lose the most precious part of myself.”

Hearing Hoseok saying those words hurt Yoongi even more. He couldn’t control himself anymore. He hugged onto Hoseok and started to sob, whispering softly, “I’m sorry, my friend. Please, forgive me for I couldn’t keep my promise.”

“Don’t you worry, now. I’m not afraid anymore. I’m happy to die on my friend’s arms.” Hoseok whispered back.

Yoongi shook his head, wiping his tears with one hand and holding Hoseok tightly with the other, “No! You’re not going to die. Not today!”

image

Jimin opened his eyes only to find himself being chained up and sitting on the floor. The sound of the alarm and that of the fighting had stopped. The sudden silence scared him. He looked around for his friends.

Among some dead and unconscious guards and wizards lying all around, Jimin saw Jungkook. He was bleeding through his arms, where an arrow was still stuck inside. Namjoon was by his side, spreading his wings around in an attempt to shield him from the approaching guards.

Jimin’s eyes desperately searched for his best friend. How could he not notice the big black wolf in the crowd? Then, he saw him. Taehyung, in his human form, was lying on the far corner. His body showed no movements at all. It was hard to tell from Jimin’s place if he was still alive or not.

Jimin tried to get rid of the chains. But the more he struggled to free himself, the more the chains seemed to be tightening around his hands and legs. A faint glow of red light appeared from it every time he moved.

“It’s no use.” The ‘Master of Shadow’ announced, making Jimin yelped as he didn’t notice him in front of him all this time. “Only someone who’s not bound to those chains can free you.”

Then, the Master looked around. The place looked exactly like an aftermath of a huge battle. He shook his head, “What a pitiable state you’ve landed yourselves in!”

“Let them go.” Jimin stated, “You need me the most. I promise I won’t try to resist to anything you do to me. But in return you have to free them and never go after them again.”

“That’s right!” The Master sighed heavily, “We need you. But it’s only a matter of time before you’ll be killed. Can’t you see? You’re in no position to negotiate.”

“I beg you, then.” Jimin pleaded, almost tearing up at the thought of his friends being hurt, “Kill me if you have to. But let my friends go. You have no use of them anymore.”

The ‘Master of Shadow’ continued as if Jimin hadn’t spoken, “Your friends, on the other hand, will answer for all the damage they had caused us.”

image

“Bold of you to assume that we’re done already.” Someone shouted from behind the ‘Master’. Before, he could look back, a rope pulled him with an incredible speed, making him sit on a chair with a heavy thump. Then, he was tied up to the chair by the rope in a flash. “As far as I know, not even the strongest wizard can cut through the rope of Hestia.”

“Seokjin!” Jimin called in excitement. Seokjin smiled at his friend but couldn’t greet him back as the guards those were guarding Namjoon and Jungkook, noticed him. As soon as they did, they started to fire aimlessly at Seokjin.

But he moved away instantly from his friends. And the guards followed. When they had gone into a minimum safe distance from the injured creatures, Seokjin took out something from his pocket and threw it at the guards and wizards. Immediately there was a huge blast and the smoke took over their surrounding.

Seokjin made the best of the brief moment. He quickly unchained Jimin and they both ran towards Taehyung. “Can you carry him out?” Seokjin asked Jimin and he nodded.

Namjoon and Jungkook were already on the move. At that time, others came running through the stairs. They were afraid that more guards had come to stop them.

But to their surprise, they saw that those were the previous prisoners of the OHA. Seokjin had released them, one by one, all this time while his friends were busy fighting the OHA. They saw that with the prisoners, were their beloved friends. Yoongi was carrying an unconscious Hoseok in a bridal way.

“Make it quick.” Seokjin urged them to go out before the guards and the wizards gain their stabilities back.

They all run through the exit door and come out into the open. “C’mon! Through the forest!” Seokjin directed them forward, trailing behind them as they go.

He took a one last look at the OHA facility before pressing the button on the remote in his hand, making the whole building explode with an ear-splitting roar.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 2 - Chapter 3 - Chapter 4 - Chapter 5 - Chapter 6 - Chapter 7 - Chapter 8 - Chapter 9 - Chapter 10  [Complete]

image

They had escaped to the wood, made fire to keep themselves warm and hunted down animals to prepare for supper. Hoseok was lying on the ground, his head rested on Yoongi’s lap. Namjoon and Seokjin sat silently with them. The other ‘Bulletproof’ boys were spending time with the escaped prisoners. There were two vampires, a werewolf, three demigods, two elves and a satyr.

Taehyung was found to be alright and not badly hurt. He had recognized the werewolf from when he was a prisoner himself and they started a conversation. Jungkook talked with the vampires to learn about his servants; those who had been caught. He found out that they had been killed during the experiments. Jimin stayed quiet the whole time.

Meanwhile, Yoongi kept muttering a spell in an attempt to heal his unconscious friend of the wound that had been left on his back. But it didn’t seem to be working properly. Namjoon came closer and Yoongi noticed the tears on his cheeks.

Namjoon gently wiped them away with his hand and placed it on Hoseok’s back. Light sparkled through Hoseok’s wound for a moment. Then, it healed completely. Yoongi gasped in shock.

“I almost forgot,” Yoongi said, “You were an angel once.”

Namjoon nodded but remained silent. It was a common knowledge that an angel’s tears can heal any wound. Yoongi being an educated wizard, should have known that.

Seokjin stood up and announced, “I think, this is the time I part. I had caused enough trouble to you all. I know I’ve done something terrible and it’s beyond forgiveness. But if you can, please forget my mistakes and remember only the good parts of our journey together. Do this for the old time’s sake.”

“But you can’t just go away that easily.” Namjoon said boldly.

Seokjin was taken aback. Namjoon never sounded this serious before. Not even at the worst time possible.

Namjoon stood in front of him, arms crossed, and said, “Did you forget the iconic ‘Once you Jim-in, you can’t Jim-out’ line?”

Yoongi let out a small laugh. Seokjin couldn’t believe it. Namjoon was not mad at him. In fact, he was making jokes. He was even okay with him being on the team.

The golden trio had come towards them. Hearing Seokjin wanting to leave, Jungkook whined, "Hyung, you can’t leave us like that.”

“Especially, not after saving us like a hero.” Jimin said, while hanging a hand on Jungkook’s shoulder. “We are not gonna let you be the main character of the story.”

Yoongi pleaded, “Just let us know the truth. When did you go against us exactly? Don’t say it was since the beginning.”

Seokjin shook his head. Tears were threatening to come out of his eyes at the surprisingly kind reactions from the others. But he told them the truth anyway.

He told them, how he was once a normal boy living with his Goddess mother and mortal father. Until one day, Aphrodite decided to take him away to the Mount Olympus. Being a kid, he always wondered what the reason could be. He was sure of one thing; his mother was indifferent to him. She never showed love or affection towards him.

As he grew up, the longing for his father, who once used to love the boy so much, became stronger. Then, one day, Seokjin decided to escape Mount Olympus with the help of some other Gods. By his own wits, he was able to come down to the earth. He had been searching for his father since then.

“But then, I met Yoongi.” Seokjin said, “When I heard about his plan of bringing down the OHA, I decided to stay with the team in hope of finding my father. But I swear, I didn’t know he was the CEO of this fucked up institution. I don’t know what got into me when I agreed to help him. I believed him to be a good man. I never imagined he could be so cruel.”

“Everyone believes their father is a good man.” Taehyung sighed.

Suddenly, one of the elves came to interrupt them, “Don’t you think it would be wiser to leave the wood and go to a safe place?”

They exchanged some worried looks. Even though the OHA facility was being destroyed, all thanks to Seokjin’s explosion, they couldn’t be sure if their enemies were really gone or not. They couldn’t go back to their abandoned building and risk being attacked.

The elf continued, “I know a place. It’s the safest of places for beings like us. We should go to the ‘ARMY’.”

“ARMY?” The ‘Bulletproof’ boys asked in union.

image

Aid and Refuge for Mortals by Youths, in short ARMY, was a secret society formed by young people who believed in equality among humans and other intelligent beings. The members of this organization called themselves ARMY too. Being less in number and power, they ran their rescue missions of saving the non-humans from the OHA secretly. And these secret missions were the reason behind the OHA’s failures at the recent times.

The elf knew their hideout very well. He was on his way to seek help from them when he was caught by the wizards almost a year ago. Now, he led his rescuers and the fellow prisoners to the only safe place there was on earth.

There were minutes of confusion among the ARMY seeing a large number of non-humans gathering outside. Soon after Namjoon explained the situation clearly, the ARMY let themselves in.

They were then taken to the leader of the organization. Her name was Linha. Despite her tall figure and intimidating face, she was quite friendly and kind. She welcomed them with overwhelming joy and learned about each of them individually. Her eyes got teary as she learned how they had managed to escape the OHA and exploded their laboratories before coming to them.

“You did the impossible.” Linha exclaimed. It was her usual way of talking. “I can’t believe you did something in such a short time which we had been planning for so long.”

“All thanks to Seokjin.” Namjoon said, “He did almost everything.”

“Yeah,” Seokjin scoffed at himself, still not over the guilt he was feeling for betraying his friends, “after ruining our original plan completely.”

There were so many ARMY and other non-humans inside the pretty huge hideout. The ‘Bulletproof’ boys almost couldn’t believe the fact that so many humans were on their side and they were willing to fight for their freedom. They had spent most of their lives being afraid of the humans that accepting them as their friends was something they found difficult.

They learned that there were more humans out there on earth who believed in the equality too but couldn’t voice out their opinion in fear of the OHA. Some of them were even helping the ARMY with whatever they could offer, ranging from shelter for some beings to providing medical supports.

In order to celebrate the official downfall of the OHA, they arranged a huge feast for themselves along with the new comers. Everyone ate and drank to the fullest. The music was turned on and they danced and sang out their hearts.

Then, Linha made a great announcement, “From now on, we won’t hide anymore. We will declare our victory over the OHA. We will reveal it to the whole world that from today, we all live in unity. Humans, vampires, werewolves, elves, satyrs, centaurs, demigods,” she glanced at Hoseok for a while and added, “angels and many more. We all live in harmony and without fear.”

They all cried out with full of enthusiasm. But suddenly there was a blast. It made their whole ceiling crash. When they looked up, they could make out a figure with huge wings flying down towards them.

image

“What happened to the others?” Kim Joon-Hwi inquired about his guards and wizards.

“They’re all dead, sir.” The Master of shadow informed.

The Master was the only one to have escaped the OHA facility after the explosion. He, then, went straight to Kim Joon-Hwi, who had already made his escape after getting his most desired thing, an angel’s wings.

“Are you telling me that you have lost the Gumiho?” Kim Joon-Hwi asked, his tone deep and serious. When the Master looked down without replying, Kim Joon-Hwi let out a terrible laugh, “How will I survive after attaching the wings on myself if I failed to kill the Gumiho?”

The real reason for his desperation for the Gumiho was that, a Gumiho was the most powerful being to exist on earth. And if he had to attach the angel wings on himself in order to be as powerful as the Gods, he needed to kill someone powerful first.

“Sir,” The master spoke, “I think we should wait. I promise to find that Gumiho as soon as I can.”

“No!” Kim Joon-Hwi said rather calmly this time, “I have waited long enough.” The Master was about to interrupt but he held his hand up to silence him, “You have done enough all these years. In fact, it’s the result of your research that I am now going to be the most powerful.”

He went closer and rested his hand on the Master’s shoulder. The Master bowed in gratitude for the appreciation. But the next moment, he felt a sharp pain on his back. He fell to the ground with a loud groan when he realized that he had been stabbed.

“You think I didn’t know who killed the last Gumiho on our laboratory?” Kim Joon-Hwi stated to the dying man before him. “I know why you had joined the company in the first place. You wanted power.” Then, he laughed manically and added, “Killing a powerful wizard like you will serve my purpose.”

The Master of Shadow struggled to say his last words, “Yoongi. Was. Right.”

But Kim Joon-Hwi didn’t pay any heed to it. He kneeled down to whisper, “Goodbye to you! From now on, you can rest all you want.”

image

Kim Joon-Hwi looked deadly with the wings on his back. The veins on his body had popped up within his skin. His eyes were red and they glowed when he shouted or showed any excitement. The wind he created by flapping his wings can overthrow Jimin’s old hut in a second.

“Father?” Seokjin whispered in disbelief.

“Everyone, grab your weapons!” Linha shouted her instructions at others. Then, they all were busy getting hold onto a weapon they could find.

“Fools!” Kim Joon-Hwi screamed, “I am inevitable now. Accept me as your new God if you don’t wish to die.”

Seokjin tried to step forward to speak to him. But Yoongi held him back and said, “Not now! He’s more dangerous than ever before.”

“But…” Seokjin was interrupted by a sudden explosion. An Army had thrown a bomb at the monster. But he soon came out of the smoke, laughing gigantically, proving his statement earlier.

The ARMY knew that it was too late. There was no way they could win against this monster. But they were not going to give up. They would rather die fighting. And with that mindset, they jumped.

No explosion, bullets or arrows could penetrate his skin. On the other hand, the ARMYs and the supernaturals were badly hurt. Some of them were already dead. Seokjin looked around the miseries. His heart clenched inside when he noticed one of his friend taking a flight to fight his monstrous father face to face.

“Namjoon!” Seokjin called to stop him.

“Why don’t you fight someone your equal, instead?” Namjoon yelled at Kim Joon-Hwi, who was pointing at a satyr with a gun on his hand.

He looked back at Namjoon and snarled at him, “Did you just compared me with yourself, you pathetic devil?”

“Why?” Namjoon smirked, “Are you scared?”

Without a delay, Kim Joon-Hwi launched himself on him and they flew away from the sight of the rest.

“No!” Seokjin screamed, “Namjoon, please come back.”

But they were nowhere to be seen. All around, the only sounds were of the burning and wailing of the injured. Everyone got busy helping out the wounded. Some of them were even grateful that the monster had spared them some time. Some were mourning for the death of their closed ones.

Hoseok collected the ‘Bulletproof’ boys from the crowd one by one and made sure none of them were hurt. They reached Seokjin last. Taehyung called, “Thank God, you’re here.”

“Where’s Namjoon?” Jimin asked. But Seokjin didn’t answer. Jungkook and Taehyung gasped as they realized Namjoon was the one who had driven away that monster.

Suddenly, Jimin sat on the ground. All of their attentions shot to him. “I think… I see something.” He said. He shut his eyes closed tightly, his brows furrowed.

Yoongi went closer to sit beside him, “Is it a vision?”

Jimin nodded violently and said, “He’s dead. Kim Joon-Hwi’s dead. And…” He stopped for a while. He looked as if he were concentrating on a scene with his eyes closed.

“Who killed him?” Yoongi asked. Everyone paid more attention.

“I can see wings.”

“An angel?” Yoongi asked in disbelief, glancing at Hoseok for a while.

Jimin opened his eyes abruptly and gasped, “Namjoon.” He declared, “Namjoon’s the angel who was supposed to bring the demise of the OHA.”

image

Namjoon stood at the entrance door, Hoseok’s formal wings hanging on his hands. He looked exhausted, which was rarely visible on his face. Jungkook ran to hug him without a delay.

Namjoon spoke to the others after Jungkook released him, “Kim Joon-Hwi’s dead. We have nothing to fear anymore.”

Everyone cheered and shouted in excitement. Some of them patted Namjoon on his back and thanked him. After minutes of celebrating the good news, everyone went back to their business; fixing the aftermath of the short but terrible battle.

The dawn had broken. Seokjin sat at the edge of the lake and gazed at the rising sun. Namjoon came to sit beside him. Seokjin glanced at him and looked back at the sun again. He said, “You’re the true hero. You’ve saved everyone.”

“I’m sorry for your loss.” Namjoon said in a low voice.

Seokjin let out a fake laugh and said, “Don’t apologize. You did the right thing. If I had done it earlier, Hoseok still would have his wings. Not to mention how many people could have been saved.”

“Do you want to know what happened exactly?” Namjoon hesitantly asked.

“Surprisingly, yes!” Seokjin turned to face him, “I’m still stupid enough to care to know how my father died.”

Namjoon nodded understandingly and said, “I gave him a chance to save himself, you know, for your sake. But he said, he would rather die than live with the pity of a devil.” Namjoon let out a painful laughter.

A tear escaped Seokjin’s eyes as he spoke, “He would definitely choose his pride over me. And I’m not even surprised. After all, it wasn’t the first time.”

“I’m sorry you couldn’t have the happily ever after with your family.” Namjoon said.

The other ‘Bulletproof’ boys joined the couple. They sat down quietly and enjoyed the sun rise. At a point, Taehyung asked Seokjin, “Are you going back to your mother now?”

Seokjin didn’t reply. Instead, he asked Hoseok, “Why aren’t you going back to the heaven?”

Hoseok shrugged and said, “There’s nothing to go back to. I’ve already found my true family here on earth.” He rested his head on Yoongi’s shoulder.

Seokjin looked back at Taehyung and smiled. “Exactly.” He whispered, which brought out the best box smile on Taehyung’s face.

“I want to say something.” Jungkook mumbled, “I don’t know if I can ever say this if not today.”

Everyone looked up at him as he slowly rose up to stand. He continued with a heavy voice, “As far as I can remember, I was just a vampire with thirst for blood only. I didn’t have a family or even friends. The only thing I cared about was surviving. I never knew how much I was missing out on life until… Until I met Jimin and Taehyung. They took me in as their own. Then, you guys showed up. I learned what it is to actually live and not just survive. I am eternally grateful to you for that.” He paused for a moment before adding, “I… I love you, guys.”

They looked at him in admiration. They had never heard Jungkook opening up about his feelings to them at any time throughout their times together. Hearing him speaking such words melted their hearts.

Jimin went straight to hug him, “I’m glad I’ve found you that night.” Taehyung joined from behind. Hoseok stood up and said, “Guys, my eyes are sweating. Help!” before going for the hug too. Yoongi tailed him from behind as well. Namjoon gestured Seokjin to join the group hug. Seokjin smiled and did as he was asked to.

Finally, it was Namjoon to join them last. As he did, he slowly spread out his huge black wings to shelter the members on the inside.

Note: Thank you to everyone for sticking with me till the end. Thank you for taking your precious time to read my story. Thank you for all the little feedbacks you had left. It means a lot to me. By the way, it was my first proper series. I finished it in a hurry due to an upcoming exam. And I am a little disappointed coz it didn’t come out as I’ve expected. But I hope to improve my writings in the future.

Noona No More

➸ 18+

➸ Summary: You are a stylist for the biggest group in the world, which has some decided advantages, but it also has some definite distractions. The biggest of which being Park Jimin. After a performance goes slightly wrong, you get your chance to tell Jimin exactly what you think of him and turns out he has some things to say about you too.

➸ Word count: 6K

➸ Pairing: Park Jimin x stylist noona

➸ Genre: Slight Angst, Smut, Fluff if you squint

➸ Warnings: Jimin crying (it broke my heart to write it!), some foul language, dry humping, cunnilingus, fingering, unprotected sex, praise kink (because, of course!)

➸ A/N: I have been on tumblr for a while, but haven’t ever shared anything I’ve written. Being a mom in my 30s, it has been literally 15 years since I actually wrote anything, but I’ve been inspired by Jimin lately. My sweet ultimate bias. I just adore him. With the encouragement of some ARMY friends, I decided to share this. We will see what happens and if anyone reads this. Lol. I have never written warnings before, as this is my first time writing smut. I’m so sorry if I forget something. If you see anything I should add, please let me know!

Being a stylist for BigHit had some decided advantages; working for a company that cared for its employees and paid well not being the least of which. But BigHit was also full of idols who were not prima donnas, which from your 10+ years in the business had taught you was an incredibly rare feat. The worst thing you had to deal with was boys falling asleep in the styling chair or wanting to play in front of the cameras that followed them everywhere. No, you had it really good, you couldn’t deny.

That did not change the fact that being a stylist for Big Hit, and primarily being assigned to BTS had some decided disadvantages as well. Primary among these disadvantages was one – Park Jimin.

Jimin was the kind of person that would sit quietly making polite conversation with you making you feel seen and important and not like a prop in his everyday life. But he was also the kind of person that would brush just slightly too close to you as he stood from his chair and would cutely say “excuse me” with a knowing smirk as you blushed from ears to toes. In other words, he was dangerous. He was charming, sweet, sexy, funny: all the attributes to make any woman weak at the knees. Unfortunately for you, having a crush on your gorgeous idol subject was not an option if you wanted to keep your job. Not only were you required to be professional in order to carry out your duties, but it was also the road to heartbreak, and you knew it. Idols weren’t allowed to date openly, and for BTS it wasn’t only impossible with their superstar status, but was impossible due to their schedules. You knew well the hours they put into their work and had more than once blow dried and curled their hair as they fell asleep standing. They worked hard, but play was something foreign to them.

So when Jimin would flirt just before a show, you assumed it was only to get into the mindset of his stage persona, not to personally give you a heart attack. It was the only form of comfort and a wakeup call that you could offer yourself.

That was until one particular day when your whole world turned upside down.

You were backstage at an award show, curling Jimin’s hair as his sleepy chin dipped to his chest. His lips were puffy and adorable as usual and his makeup was flawless so you could barely see his cute freckles that you wished the makeup people wouldn’t hide. His complexion, too, was a bit too light, but you always attributed that to a broken sense of the beautiful in this country. Pale did not always equate to beautiful and tan could be gorgeous, like Jimin’s own natural honey skin tone that made him look like candy you could eat. Come to think of it, it was probably safer for your sanity that they did adjust his complexion, if that thought was any indication of your fragile state of mind around this man.

“You will be needing another dye job soon,” you said casually as you assumed his half asleep mind wouldn’t even register it.

Without even opening his eyes, he uttered, “will you do it, Noona?”

“If I’m the stylist on duty, of course.”

“You are the only one who is gentle. I always feel like my scalp is on fire when anyone else does it.”

“You exaggerate. And I don’t do it any different than anyone else.”

He looked up then as you were midway through a curl of the iron and grabbed your wrist, “promise you will be the one who does it, Noona.”

You were distracted by his eyes that were so much more than the colored contacts he wore. Even those couldn’t distract from how jaw dropping and gorgeous his eyes were, especially as he had some of the most honest and forthright eyes you had ever seen. This man didn’t do secrets.

“I will try,” you offered, though you knew you would do nothing of the sort. Dye days were the worst because you spent hours upon hours with one boy exclusively and you couldn’t handle that with Jimin. He was your Achilles’ Heel.

“Thanks, Noona,” he said as he closed his eyes again.

You hated him calling you Noona. It made you feel old. Sure you were both adults, but you had 7 years on him and such matches just didn’t happen in Korea. Not that it mattered, anyway, you reminded yourself as you turned to grab the hairspray, because Park Jimin would never look at you that way even if you were his age.

The boys rushed out of the room in a whirlwind shortly after with last minute checks of wardrobe, makeup and hair as they went to perform. It was always a mad house just before stage, and the boys were jumping around and singing to warm up their voices, and overall getting hyped up so they had the energy they needed to go full out. There were a lot of people there to see them, and they never disappointed.

The moment your life turned upside down though, started just as you were backstage, putting away most of your equipment and cleaning up any mess left backstage as you and your fellow stylists watched the boys performance on the monitors in the dressing room. The boys were performing Dionysus to perfection. Every move was as accurate as in rehearsal, even with the jet lag and exhaustion of the boys. They were used to it, they would say, but you always felt for them. Jimin was front and center doing his incredible solo spotlight as the boys made a V formation behind him to “Where the Party at” when it happened. Jimin’s voice squeaked and it came out rather profoundly on the monitors. The boys rarely made mistakes of any kind, or if they did it was largely overlooked by the audience, but there was no hiding this moment as he was the focal point.

You could tell by his face for that split second that he was shocked by his voice, but then he went right back to being the exceptional performer he was born to be. You forgot about it entirely until the moment the boys finished the performance and came back down the hallway to the dressing room. You were all crowded into one of the bigger rooms at the show, but even still it was hard to shove everyone in who accompanied the boys, but any crowd was quickly forgotten when you saw Jimin’s face.

He was puffy around the eyes and slightly red. His face was contorted with a grimace and there were definite tear tracks on his face. Tae had him under his arm, practically dragging him into the room. When he made it inside, he completely lost it. He started crying in earnest and fell to the floor against a wall as he shucked off his 3 million Won jacket and cast it in his makeup chair.

The makeup artist assigned to Jimin made no show of emotion as she took her kit and went to sit beside him on the floor to clean him up. She turned back toward you, who was still standing shell shocked in the middle of the room, and asked you to grab the dabbing paper from her station. You quickly went to her side and offered her the materials, which she quickly put to work. The boys would no doubt be called to stage at any time to accept one of their millions of awards they would win tonight, and there was no time for tears. You sat beside him as he attempted to get control of his emotions. RM was hovering as his stylists scurried around him and Tae was shouting praises to Jimin to cheer him up, but nothing seemed to help.

“Noona,” he said and your focus went back to his face and you saw he was looking at you as his makeup artist reapplied his eyeliner in a hurried fashion.

“Yes, Jimin?”

“I messed up. Did you see it?”

“See what?”

“Don’t joke,” he said as he adjusted his position and you tried not to make eye contact. You didn’t want him to know that, yes, you saw him, and yes, you noticed the mistake, because admitting it meant everyone saw it, everyone heard it. You wanted to distract from that, but you didn’t know how. You were quickly shuffling through a million statements you could make that would give comfort without making him feel worse, when you felt his hand slip into yours discreetly. You looked down and then straight into his eyes. What you found there had your heart beating wildly out of your chest. Such an open look of desire to be comforted, to be heard and understood, and it conveyed only a desire for honesty, and though you couldn’t ever verbalize how you knew that, you still KNEW.

You took a deep breath and looked around as all the boys and their stylists began to shuffle toward the door. Before long it would only be the three of you in here if you didn’t manage to get him up and out the door on time. His makeup artist was still going about her work with such wicked accuracy and precision that you marveled at her talent.

“You messed up?” you asked as your eyes were still on the makeup artist, “Who cares?”

As soon as the words were out of your mouth, you knew there was no going back. The makeup artist stopped her work and Jimin completely froze staring at you.

“You aren’t perfect, Jimin, and you aren’t made to be. Sometimes you are so insanely talented that I think the whole world forgets that you are just a guy. Just a man. And that’s ok.” At this you made eye contact with him and grabbed his hand more fiercely. Jimin was looking at you with a guarded expression, but his eyes were alight with tears or something else – you couldn’t tell.

“You know that, right? You know that you are perfect in your imperfections, even when you mess up?”

He blinked back at you but didn’t speak. The makeup artist looked at you and stood to leave the room to give you a moment. You couldn’t say why she did that, but some cosmic intervention must have made it happen, because as soon as she left you realized that you and Jimin were the only ones left in this room filled with half full garment racks, makeshift beauty stations and piles in every corner of the room filled with people’s belongings.

“Do you really think so?” He asked, bringing your attention back to his face.

“Think what?”

“That I’m perfect, even when I mess up.”

“Of course, I do! Life is messy, and it never goes according to plan, but that’s what makes it beautiful, people are the same.”

His eyes looked down in disappointment, but he wasn’t crying anymore so that was something, although that look made you confused as you felt like you were getting through to him, if not for that expression.

“You know, I failed my final exam in beauty school the first time.”

“You did?”

“I sure did. And if I hadn’t I wouldn’t be here.”

“What do you mean?”

You laughed at the open look of curiosity on his face, “My dream had always been to work for YG and I probably would have stayed there forever, but because I failed and my spot was taken I bounced around from job to job with company after company until no one would take me on except Bang PDnim. And now, all this time later, I’m stylist to the biggest group in the world. How is that for No More Dream?”

He smiled at you then and even chuckled lightly under his breath, but his eyes never left your face.

You looked into his open honest eyes for only a moment and yet it could have been days for how your heart began to beat out of your chest. It was one of those defining moments in life. As you looked into his perfect eyes, it was as though you were tied together in that moment, where two souls were speaking though your bodies were silent. It was not something you could verbalize and you didn’t want to. Time didn’t exist in that moment.

That is until you heard the bell alerting them of a commercial break, which would allow them the moment to go back to their seats on the stage. It woke you up and reminded you that you were still sitting on the floor with a pop star who needed to get to his seat before the gossip started. After his mistake on the stage, he didn’t need people speculating that he was backstage crying (even though it was true).

“Ok, let’s get you out there,” you said as you went to grab his bicep, which was surprisingly firm and strong for such a skinny man, but you had no time to think on it, as he interrupted you with your name. He never called you by your name.

“Wait,” he looked at you again in earnest and you felt the blush rise on your cheeks as you waited for him to say whatever he would say.

“I know you hate being the center of attention, and getting any kind of praise, but…thank you”

“You’re welcome, Ji-“

“And…I know you probably don’t feel the same way, but…” he looked behind your back at the door that now contained no one, “If this is my only opportunity, then…”

You had no idea what he was talking about and were about to turn around and head toward the door, no matter his requests for you to wait. He had to go.

But before you got fully turned toward the door, he grabbed you by your wrists and spun you to the wall behind the open door so you would be secluded, and then crashed his perfect plush lips on yours. You had often imagined what being kissed by Jimin would feel like. Soft, gentle, like pillows against your mouth, because his lips were so fluffy looking.

This was not that, though. He was rushed for time, so his lips were tight and brutal against your mouth. In a second, when you went to take a breath, his tongue was in your mouth stealing your hastily taken breath with the greed of his. His hands were in your hair, and his solid front was pressed firmly against yours. You were taken so off guard you forgot to respond to his kiss, to take advantage of running your hands through his hair that you had just styled a few hours previously and still looked gorgeously coifed. Instead you were practically paralyzed against the wall with hands at either side of your head, but as the heat of his body seeped into yours and the semi hardness in his pants connected with your softness, you gasped in pleasure suddenly.

The sound shocked him out of his trance and he stepped away apologizing profusely to you. Instead of listening to him wrongfully assume you weren’t into him, you decided to show him just how much he was wrong by grabbing him by his neck and merging your lips back together. Like two people starved of each other you grabbed and pulled and pushed with a fiery passion and one of your legs lifted off the floor to wrap around his waist as you rubbed your center against his front seeking friction from the only man you ever wanted between your legs for as long as you live. He growled and took your leg off his waist and set you back on your feet in a show of great restraint.

His head hit your chest as he tried to catch his breath and gain control back. The bell was ringing again to say the commercial break was over.

“Fuck,” he grunted out toward the floor as his face continued to be hidden from you. “I have to go back out there.”

“I wish you didn’t, but you are right and the others will be back soon,” you said referencing the other staff.

“Please know,” he said as he lifted his head and made eye contact with you, “this isn’t just physical for me.”

You took a shaky breath through your nose to gain control of your beating heart, “Same here.”

He smiled at that, wide and with his gorgeous eyes.

“I thought I was too old for you.”

He chuckled as he wiped his pants off from sitting on the floor, “I thought I was too young for you.”

He turned to leave as you heard familiar voices approaching.

“We aren’t done here,” he said as he pointed at you and then ran out of the room, just as the others returned to the room.

You stood at the door and watched him go. At the last minute, he turned and smiled at you and like the tease you always knew he was, he licked his bottom lip and bit it.

You knew you probably looked like a love sick puppy as you leaned on the doorway watching him go with a light blush on your cheeks, but you couldn’t help it.

Just before he went on stage, though, you ran out to him calling his name. As your cover you fluffed his hair that needed no fluffing, but to him you whispered, “Don’t call me noona anymore.”

He tried to hold in his laugh but leaned down as his eyes scanned the backstage to make sure no one was looking as he whispered back, “you got it baby. I’ll see you after.”

Then he winked and was gone.

_____________________________________________________________

You did your level best to focus on the performances and your cleanup of the back room until the end of the show that night, but you couldn’t help but relive that kiss over and over again in your mind. You had kissed Park Jimin! The most famous idol in Korea. The literal It Boy of the country, probably of all of Asia. He was beyond beautiful, talented, kind, funny, and did you mention gorgeous? You kept stealing views of his perfect flirtatious eyes in the monitors as you packed up your belongings and shuffled to load the Big Hit vehicles for the end of the show. Every time you caught his eye, you felt like he was looking straight back at you (which was silly since you knew he was just looking into the camera to make eyes at the fans).

After the show everyone was exhausted and piled into the black tinted windowed vehicles to lead them back to their hotels. BTS got a private floor of the fancy hotel designed for performers and the famous actors who presented the awards. You on the other hand were staff, and not just staff, but support staff, not managerial staff, like Sejin who stayed in the hotel with the boys so he was on hand in case of emergencies, and not like the body guards and personal assistants to the group. You were just a stylist. Suffice to say, you didn’t expect you would see him again tonight when you went back to your budget hotel down the block from the venue. Jimin had promised he wasn’t done with you (the thought of that statement made something in your lower stomach twist, even as your legs rubbed together), but surely the circumstances being what they were, that would be impossible.

You were winding down for the evening after washing your face and brushing out your hair and were about to put on a sleep mask and turn on some late night TV program to fall asleep to when your door rattled as a heavy hand hit the door. Like any self-respecting Millennial, you were immediately terrified at the prospect of an unexpected visitor, and ironically, your mind was so full of his kiss that you were beyond astonished and taken by surprise, when you opened the door to Park Jimin in the flesh. You would have pinched yourself to wake up from your obviously delusional dream, but then he started walking in through the door without invitation.

You backed into the room surprised as he threw the keys in his hand on the table and started shucking off his boots as he closed the door with his leg.

“You drove here?”

He nodded.

“How did you even find where I was staying?”

“I’m clever, and Sejin isn’t as protective of his planner as he thinks he is.”

In a moment, you were in his arms. If he had given you time to consider the state of the hotel room, with your belongings strung out across the bed, including your bra and underwear you planned to wear the next day, and your cosmetics strewn across the countertops and tables, you might have been embarrassed. Instead, he was like a man possessed as he took advantage of your surprise, like he had done that afternoon at the show, as well. In a rare moment of confidence, you wondered if he had imagined being with you like this as many times as you had imagined being with him.

His mouth encapsulated yours like he was afraid you would run away if he stopped. You were so incredibly consumed, you didn’t have one thought of stopping him. It was like a dream come true. And having him in this intimate environment that smelled like you and was filled with your things after the previous night’s stay, you felt your whole body come alive.

His hands were in your hair, but his arms were so tightly wrapped around you that every inch of your body felt sealed in his arms. As he walked with you in his arms toward the bed, you only had time to think about how good he smelled, like citrus and some kind of flower. In a word, he smelled delicious. And his body was so solid against yours, and hair and skin were so soft, which you knew because you couldn’t stop your hands from devouring him even as your mouth was completely drowned in his lips.

And GOD his lips. Were there two such lips anywhere else in the world that tasted, felt, and looked this beautiful? Not that you could see them right now as your eyes were rolled back in your head in ecstasy, especially as he drove his stiff shaft into your clothed center. You moaned wantonly and he pulled away to stare in your eyes. His face flushed and lips swollen, even more than usual, as he lay you down on the bed and leaned over you.

“Is this ok?” he asked and you sputtered out a yes in reply as his smiling face fell to devour you once again.

His hands began to loosen the ties on your robe and he slowly ground his heavy anatomy into your clit, which only furthered the fire in your belly.

“Please,” you started chanting as he ripped your robe open and quickly took up residence on your unclothed chest like a man starving. You whined wantonly, who could blame you? You had to remind yourself again that Park Jimin was the one currently running his perfectly pointed tongue over your pert nipple. As he did he moaned in a voice so deep you would have believed it was someone else if not for the evidence before you. His hands were soft as they ran across your sides and your ribs and gripped with his ring clad fingers on your waist. You found yourself growing wetter by the second as you imagined him bruising your hips with those ring clad fingers. It was a thought you often had when you watched his fingers wrap around his microphone when he performed.

“I can’t control myself,” he said, bringing you out of your trance. “If you don’t want this, tell me so now.”

“I want this!” you practically screamed as you lifted your hips to grind against his clothed member. He practically growled in response as he pulled away and stared at your unclothed body. He started to slowly remove his jacket and unbutton his white button up shirt. For your part, you lifted onto your elbows to drink him in, as you pulled your robe from underneath of you and threw it across the room. You were still wearing your underwear (thank god they were cute ones) but your upper body was bare and your hair was draped in what you hoped was a seductive way. He was biting his lip, meanwhile and slowly untucking his shirt from his pants as he, one arm at a time, removed his shirt. It was so hot and sultry, you felt another gush of liquid between your legs as you moaned. Jimin, for his part, seemed to grow more bold and flirtation the more you seemed to enjoy yourself. With the grace of a dancer, he stood to his full height as he finished shucking off his shirt and tossing it across the room. Until that moment you had been fully concentrated on his eyes, but you couldn’t deny that his perfectly sculpted stomach and chest were a very welcome distraction. You had never seen anything so perfect before in your life. From his honey skin, soft and smooth and free of blemish, to his dusky nipples that made your mouth water, you were ready to eat him alive right then and there. You lifted to do just that as you took in his muscular stomach and his sexy tattoo. Your hands followed the trail of your eyes and it took no time to dig in to the feast laid before you.

Your tongue was currently swirling around his perfect nipple, when a particularly high keening noise left Jimin’s mouth. His enjoyment encouraged you to be even more bold as your hand found the front of his trousers. He took a big inhale as your hand connected with his member. The softness of his balls as you brushed them made it even more extreme of a contrast as your hand connected with his engorged manhood. It made your mouth water as you imagined taking it into your throat.

With that thought you pulled away to make quick work of his pants. Jimin was vibrating, practically, with anticipation as his hands joined yours in removing his slacks. His belt flew across the room, and his pants and boxer briefs came off in one shot like lightning. Your eyes again devoured the man, and for the rest of forever you knew you would never see anything as beautiful as a naked Jimin. He blushed slightly as you took him in from head to toe. He knew what he looked like, but obviously was not used to being appraised so fully. His blush only increased his sexiness, so you decided to tell him.

“You are literally the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.”

His smile could have outshined the sun and in that moment you promised yourself that you would make an effort to be vocal with him to keep that smile on his face.

Now, with only your underwear as a barrier, you both finally realized the gravity of the situation as things got more serious. You began to crawl backward on the bed, as he went on hands and knees to chase you up the bed. You bit your lip and whined at the intensity in his eyes, and he growled at your wanton behavior.

In a second he was back on you and now his unclothed dick was the star as he rolled his hips into your center. You were already so close, it was embarrassing, but you didn’t even care. You wanted him: carnally, emotionally, in any way he would give you himself and you would thank him for any shred of it.

“More baby,” you heard yourself beg, “please, more! I want more, Jimin!”

His lips met yours as he gripped onto your lower lip and bit it, causing you to whine again.

“What do you want from me, Jagiya?”

Your eyes shot open at the use of that word, but it only brought a warmth in your heart as you answered his question.

“I want you to make love to me, Jimin. Please…”

He wasted no time as he descended down your body with open mouth kisses. His pillow lips making you so crazy you thought you could probably just come from his kisses, but he went too quickly down your body and before you knew it he was biting into your underwear to pull them down your legs.

You lifted up to watch and what you saw made your heart explode and your lower lips vibrate in anticipation. There before you were the eyes of a man possessed as he stared straight into your soul and his mouth wrapped around the lace of your underwear.

God he was sexy. He always had been, but nothing had prepared you for this. He hadn’t even brought you to orgasm yet and you were already certain that he was a sex God.

As your thoughts swirled with his perfection, his glorious lips took up the position of your underwear as he slowly but surely wrapped his perfect lips around your throbbing nub. Your panting intensified and you found your hands fisting in the sheets as he began to suck. In between sucks, he would moan about how wet you were for him and instead of being embarrassed you felt sexy and powerful. Jimin had the incredible ability to make you forget his status in a moment of passion and only feel how much he worshiped you. Or at least that was what he did to you.

His fingers meanwhile, found your entrance and as your lips quivered he plunged a ringed finger deep into your hole without warning. You whined loudly as you threw your head back in ecstasy against the pillows. You felt him moan into your nub as you did so, which only intensified your internal struggle. You began panting his name as he continued to assault your nub with licks and sucks as his curved tongue would periodically flick out and tease your lower lips, whilst his first finger took a completely different rhythm, driving into you with abandon. The contrast of feelings and intensity brought you to orgasm faster than you thought possible. With a gasp, and a sharp inhale, you felt your silent scream as it racked your body with shivers. As you came down, and the sensations began to settle into over sensitivity, Jimin’s tongue licked up your liquid heat like it was ice cream. He even sucked on his first finger from ring to tip as he sighed into it at the taste of your release.

You think you might be in love.

In no time he was climbing up your body and smiling at your ecstatic face. You were so fucked out, you had no thought to be embarrassed. Instead you hooked your legs on his perfect ass and pulled him into you.

“Put that perfect dick in me this instant,” you told him as you were out of breath.

“As you wish,” he giggled. With no hesitation he drove himself into you harshly, causing both of you to exhale a fluttered breath. His forehead made contact with your own in an intimate gesture as his perfect lips pouted out to connect with your lips in a feather light kiss. You could have cried at the intensity of his gaze as he slowly began to pump in and out of you.

His dick WAS perfect, as you had said. Just the right size, not too big, not too small, and thick to stretch you in all the right places. And more importantly, he knew how to use it. He lifted one of your legs to drape across his shoulder as he ground himself deep inside of you. You had always been completely convinced that the G spot was a mystical imaginary body part, made up by women who couldn’t tell the difference between an internal orgasm and a clit instigated orgasm, but you stood corrected. As his hips rolled in a movement you had often seen when he was on stage (though admittedly, had never seen quite like this!) you felt that foreign fire burning beneath his pressure. You were about to explode again as Jimin’s hips quickened. You watched his stomach muscles clench and pull taught over and over as his wave motions grew quicker by the second and his moans grew in intensity.

“Fuck, I forgot a condom!” He shouted even as his motions grew more rapid.

“I’m on the pill. Shut up and fuck me!” You panted as you met his movements with your hips.

“God, you feel so good, Jimin.” He moaned at your praise, so you continued practically in a whine, “you are so fucking sexy, I want all of you! I’m so close again. Your dick is perfect! You are amazing! Oh my God!”

And just like that you both grew silent as you crashed over the abyss together. Your high pitched squeal came out even as your lips quivered and squeezed him of every last drop. He meanwhile groaned into your neck as his cock spluttered out the last of his cum into your waiting heat.

It took a while before you regained your breath enough to speak and when you did, you instantly felt embarrassed at the openly affectionate look on his face.

“I couldn’t wait to have you. As soon as you said it wasn’t just physical for you either, I’ve thought of nothing else.”

“I guess I should have trusted you when you said you would find me after,” you laughed, as you brushed his hair away from his face as he fell down beside you. His member was slowly decreasing in size, but you made no effort to remove him from inside of you.

“You should always trust me when I make a promise,” he said with intensity in his eyes, but immediately turned shy, like the humble duality king you knew him to be. “I hope it is ok that I came here.”

“Obviously!” you said much too quickly and much too loudly, causing Jimin to giggle and whisper ‘cute’ under his breath.

“I didn’t plan to come here just to attack you, but then I saw you and I couldn’t resist.” His eyes were on fire and completely set on you.

“I’m glad you did,” you said with a blush as you looked at your hands as you covered your face, “I’m afraid I would have been a mess if you hadn’t broke the ice, so to speak.”

“Why?” He asked earnestly and you almost laughed at how clueless he seemed.

“You have to be kidding.” When he didn’t respond, you sat up and looked him straight into his eyes as he lay back against your pillows. “You are Park Jimin, Lead Vocalist and Main Dancer of the Biggest Band in the world. It Boy of Korea, and literally the sexiest man alive.”

He smiled cockily at that last comment and asked you if you really thought so, but when you quieted him, he turned more sober.

“I get it. But all those things mean is I’m completely unavailable. My life is my job. I don’t have a lot I can offer.”

You tried to contradict him, but he stopped you with a hand on your mouth.

“Despite this…I find myself wanting to risk it all to be near you. I’ve been trying to get your attention for months, ever since you took a more primary role on my styling. I won’t lie to you, you are beautiful, gorgeous even, but I try my best not to pay attention to beautiful faces when I know it isn’t a good idea to get involved, but then you say things to me that completely change my outlook on something, or heal me with just a word, and I can’t help it…”

You were frozen in a seated position on that bed. Your cheeks were on fire at hearing this confession, and you opened your mouth to return the praise, but he stopped you with a kiss.

“Will you let me call you Jagiya? Can I be with you despite all the challenges?”

You opened your mouth to speak, but he stopped you again.

“Before you answer, please think about it. We won’t be allowed to have a regular relationship. Not only will we have to be secretive with the outside world, but we will have to be secretive with the company as well. It’s never explicitly said, but I’m not publicly allowed a relationship, and in the eyes of the company this means – they don’t want to know about any exploits we have. As such, even at work, we will have to keep it a secret. Are you ok with that?”

Even with these challenges, you didn’t even hesitate when you accepted him, just as he is and promised to have him in whatever way he was able to give you.

With that he smiled like a man truly content, and his eyes swam with unshed tears, as he fell down beside you in bed. His chin upon your shoulder, as his lips coasted across your neck.

It didn’t take long for things to escalate again.

To say the least, you didn’t sleep much that night. Nor would you again for the foreseeable future.
