...He crashes into and fuses with GCat! It’d make a nice parallel with Jade and Bec sprite-fusing, plus be all kinds of hilarious and ironic.
Plus, Tavcat? Catros? could be super effective against Bec Noir and PM because cat distraction + animal communing powers + First Guardian powers. Although he’d probably be a perpetual sneezing mess.
Even if this doesn’t happen, I have a feeling Tavros’ cat allergies will result in him inadvertently double prototyping with something or someone. And, also, Tavros controlling GCat would make a great distraction for the Becs. (As would Jaspers.)
Thoughts and musings on the upcoming battle
Reflection on the 5/13/15 update with potential strategies, considerations, and predictions.
The best team to face the Becs would ironically be the "least important/effective" characters: Tavros, Jaspers, and the Mayor---plus Jade and GCat.
Jaspers could be a great distraction for them because cat. Actually, there’s probably even two of them around.
Tavros could use his communing abilities to control the Becs, plus potentially GCat to use as a distraction.
The Mayor would probably be safe because PM is his friend. He’s destined to face Bec Noir, anyway.
Jade, either asleep or awake, would occupy the Becs' attention, be safe from them (and protected by them!), and has the same First Guardian abilities.
As long as the Condesce is sufficiently distracted, they'd all be good.
Jack English vs. Dirk, Dave, and possibly surprise Davesprite would make a nice callback to when Bro and Davesprite fought against Jack on LOWAS. Remember how the final prototyping gave him First Guardian powers, which turned the tide of battle?
What if that happens with Jack English, such as obtaining the golden cuestaff and that very same ring? LOWAS (I assume it’s there now) is one of the closest planets to Jack English, too, so the battle could occur in the very same spot!
If Davesprite is around, he risks being influenced by the Condesce like Jade, since he’s part bird.
The idea of Karkat facing his old frienemy Spades Slick is delicious. If anyone can convince Slick to form an alliance, it's Karkat.
Any of the trolls facing the Condesce is probably dangerous because of her manipulation powers. That mostly just leaves the kids.
Nannasprite's probably around. She'd be great as part of the healing team, since she's alt!Jane and has healing abilities, too.
If there’s an extra Nannasprite who tagged along on LOWAS, even better.
Remember Casey's undead army on LOMAX? That has potential to show up again, too. If the Condesce uses her powers to control them, BAD NEWS. If not, allies ahoy! I imagine the golden battleship is still there, too, since Aranea wasn't around to move it; they could use that, as well.
During the fracas, Gamzee will probably escape. (Don't turn your back on the body!) Plus, he most certainly will travel back in time to at least give Lil Cal to CD to create Jack English in the first place. That has to happen somehow, since Vriska apparently didn’t do it. Gamzee might also prototype the final sprite. Who knows what else he'll do?
Vriska is leaving, yes. My guess is to raise the Cherubs, but we really don't know. (She's already hijacked Gamzee's role for practically everything else, plus she has other Gamzee parallels.) What if she returns in time to give the final blow to the Condesce, being the one to officially kill her? It'd mirror her dealing the final blow to the Black King of their session, plus... She'd likely inherit Lord English's curse. Lord English has already been manipulating her and using her to his advantage anyway; the curse would just make it official.
Upon first glance, this passage seems to describe the Beta Kids’ kernelsprites...
...The pre-entry prototypings that evolve the battlefield and affect enemy characteristics.
Now, the passage seems to be alluding to the components that created Bec Noir, who we all know has wreaked havoc across the kids’ and trolls’ sessions and universes.
But what if the passage is referring to something else?
“Maimed clown”...
“Undead cat”...
“Impaled crow”...
(Davepeta is kind of both the Undead Cat and Impaled Crow combined.)
“Omnipotent dog”...
(Notice how even though Bec Noir and PM have all four prototyping elements, they’re only ever referred to as dogs at this point.)
“These four shall be held in reverence for the eternity they serve to cut short.”
What if this passage has yet to come, and is related to the end of Paradox Space?
Gamzee is obvious in his role, and Bec Noir would be no surprise, either. But others, such as Jasprose, Davepeta, and the Mayor (recall his dream) would be really interesting and unexpected.
This is not the first time a Jack has lost an arm to a caliginous queen.
Does anyone else find this resemblance incredibly ominous?

John is the same height as WV in the car scene. Karkat is in his 6 sweeps is a little bit smaller than Jack Noir. Jack Noir is in his normal form the same height as WV (I took panels with WV and PM and then with Jack and PM and made a scale). Probably Karkat was a little bit smaller than John when they were in their 13? Also Rose in her 16 is a bit smaller than WV, we can see that when she was drunk and helped him with his Can Town. PM is taller than any human.
i love homestuck heights. its all so weird and inconsistent. the universal is that jack is kinda short tho

“So much for a relaxing weekend” you winced as another pain shot through your body. You were supposed to be spending the afternoon with Zion after he finished up at the studio but here you were, lying in bed curled into a ball wishing for even the slightest bit of relief from the pain. “I should probably call Z & tell him not to come over”. Almost as if on queue you heard keys at your front door followed by it opening & slamming shut. “Babe? Where you at?” Too late now. “In my room” you call back weakly. You hear him start to whistle as he walks up the hall to your room. “I texted you earlier asking what you wanna do today but you didn’t ans-” He stops mid sentence when he sees your curled up form lying in bed. “What’s wrong baby? He walks to the side of your bed & kneels in front of you, brows furrowed with concern. “Oh you know just my uterus try-” You wince as another stabbing pain floods your body. You take a deep breath “Its just my uterus trying to kill me, no big deal.” “No big deal my ass! Why didn’t you text me & let me know? I woulda come over sooner.” “I didn’t wanna bother you or interrupt you at the studio.” “Babygirl you are never a bother or an interruption. Have you eaten or taken any meds yet?” “No....I’ve been in bed all day.” He stands up & walks towards the door “bro what the fuck aight hang on ma give me like 5 minutes.” True to his word he was back in 5 minutes with his hands full of supplies for you. “Aight so we got medicine, heating pad, water, a sandwich annnnd...” he reaches into his back pocket & pulls out your favorite candy bar. “This, figured you might want it later. Now anything you wanna say?” “Thanks for taking care of me and you’re the best? He crosses his arms over his chest & raises his eyebrows giving you an expectant look. “Thats always good but anything else??” You roll your eyes “And sorry I was a dumbass and didn’t call you earlier.” He smiles & leans forward to kiss your forehead. “It’s alright just make sure you call me next time, You’re my dumbass & I wanna take care of you alright? I got you mamas, always.” You smile & nod at him “okay I promise.” He smiles again & presses a quick kiss to your cheek. “Good, now scoot over so I can cuddle the fuck outta you.”
