Queen's Gambit - Tumblr Posts
So, i just watched Queen's Gambit and im totally obsessed with Thomas Brodie-Sangster aka Benny Watts

Like, LOOK AT THAT AAAAA, he's looking so handsome and has this badboy/cowboy chilled vibe that is just amazing.
I was also a big fan of him in Maze Runner as Newt, because there he has more of a sweet vibe and he is so fucking adorable

Conclusion: Im freaking out and Thomas is THE best omg
What I’ve spent the last 3 hours doing
- Watching “The Queen’s Gambit”
- Looking up Beth’s and Townes age difference
-Found out Beth is an INTJ
-Researched INTJs
-Read several articles talking about the difference between INTJs and INTPs
-Went to Pinterest and looked at INTP memes
-Saw one that said “Takes IQ quizzes for fun”
-Took an online IQ quiz. Had to pay for results.
- Took an online quiz AGAIN. Had to pay for results AGAIN.
-Did one that claimed to be free. Had to pay for results.
-Saw an article recommending one free quiz
- Took free quiz and enjoyed it :)
- Then took another quiz that was similar to that one to try and correct my simple mistakes from the first quiz
-Got a worse result on my second try
-Got sad and realized I just spent 3 hours doing all of that
Tl;dr : I have no concept of time . Pls help.

Hellooo bitches, bros and non binary hoes,
In honour of our eclipse day as well as an effort to get back into writing more, I am officially opening up my ask box for prompts.
I know I've spoken to some of y'all about this recently, but for those I haven't talked to: Feel free to drop prompts - as short as one word and a fandom name, or as long as a fully fleshed out AU - and I'll write a drabble. My writing tag here is #vesania writes, and my ao3 is ParadoxInsanity. The lovely @blueberrymffn (Konstadt on ao3 - the writer responsible for probably the most beautiful dreamling you've ever seen) has also offered to help out sometimes!
At this moment in time, I don't feel the need to disavow any topics, tropes, ships or the like, but this may change in the future. In the meantime, feel free to send anything you like, and I'll get right back to you!
Fandoms I'm down to write for:
Sandman
Good Omens
Arcane
DC (more batfam and adjacent)
Titans
Queen's Gambit
more that i am forgetting
PS. Yes anon asks are on
the queens gambit is a really good show ! highly recommend ✨ it make me miss playing chess ..
— ANYA TAYLOR-JOY IN THE QUEEN’S GAMBIT / EPISODE ONE & TWO
HERE you can find 132 high-quality gifs of Anya Taylor-Joy in The Queen’s Gambit as Beth Harmon. All of the gifs were made by me; please respect my rules and do not repost them and/or edit them. Please, like or reblog if you find them helpful or use them. Thank you and enjoy! Trigger Warnings: Flashing lights, alcohol, pills, food.

Drew AU Amidala from Bedlamsbard's fantastic Queen's Gambit because it's got me so hooked I have to do something in between chapter updates.
After To Love and Protect and Gangsters in Love ended, I will not be surprised if they bring Queens Gambit or Kisses and Curses into Lovestruck next. And I really hope so, cause I don't had the chance to play these games yet and the female Love Interests look gorgeous
i have one thing to say n that is: her ! 😍😍

literally how is she real??! my heart cannot take thisssss ;-; ♥︎!
First of 2 portraits: Elizabeth Harmon of Queen's Gambit! Next one might take a while yet 😅

Right so this is my face/voice claim for Ms Terry
(Beth Harmon from the Queens Gambit on Netflix)
I made a silly little edit of her.

System Members - Augustus & Alma Sinclair DID introjects, not fanart ▸ reblogs are fine
When Alma first split off, we homed her in the hotel inner-world; Sinclair had only recently reawoken, and the newly managed hotel was empty, so we thought the company would be good for him...
we expected them to flirt. we did not expect them to announce they were getting 'married' (it's more of a commitment thing between alters) a year or so later especially since it was sinclair, who is not the tied down sort. But with two kids (both childhood little ones, one now his Little Sister) and a very lively establishment, we all have a lot of love for these two. especially since they actually work when they front, instead of succumb to adhd hell. /hj

A slow-dance to Sinatra, drawn by our system's Sinclair a long time ago. Appreciation to his 'Tiny Wife', and a caption written by Alma herself.

Guys I don't know what happened with me, but I'm just literally dead
I'll go to doctor soon, 'cause it's very weird
Anyway, I think it's not a stupid idea to do something different today. So I'll post there a list with my favourite books which I was reading this year ('cause really, I didn't do anything today, just watching Heartstopper and sleeping)
So let's begin❤️
1) "Bones and all" by Camille De Angelis

The book tells the story of a young cannibal, who after her mother leaves her, sets out into the world with only books, some dollars and minimal knowledge of where to go to find her father, who she also suspects of cannibalism. Along the way, she meets a cannibal and the're becoming befriends, and next they're falling in love.
But, if you don't like horror books, or you just emotional, better don't read it. The scenes are so terrifying sometimes. I love this book all my heart, I think it's my number one of this year.
2) "The Queen's Gambit" by Walter Tevis

I have to admit that I watched the series first, then read the book. The series was popular on Netflix for its time, and by the way it was brilliant, as was the book. Orphanage girl Beth Harmon has an extraordinary mind and her favorite pastime is playing chess with the janitor at her orphanage.
After she's adopted, we can watch her rise as a talented chess player as well as her downfalls. In my view, the book is better than the series. I read it in only three days, but the series was filmed very well.
3) "Double Vision" by Zdeněk Sverák
(no photo 'cause I can't find it)
It was very enjoyable to read. It is a collection of short stories by the author, written with typical Czech humour, quite specific. I didn't like some of the stories, but most were great. by the way, the author of this book is also the author of the famous "Kola", a Czech popular movie.
Yup, and that's my top 3 of this year💕
If you have some recomendations, I'm open to every kind of books❤️
Goodnight <3
I haven't watched Queens Gambit in a while but I will never forget seeing a take that women were suddenly interested in chess like this idea that women couldn't possibly have been interested in chess before is ludicrous in the complete definition of the word and what if they became interested because of the show it doesn't make their interest disingenuous or performative. The great thing about humans is that we can be inspired and inspire others so to all the puny unimaginative people who continue to think like this sincerely bug off.

I haven't read the book to its completion but I can't decide if I appreciate the omission of the blatant csa.
