there's always that one bitch in a movie/tv show/book who you can ship with literally anyone and it'll make perfect sense
we simply do not have enough fanart of ronan standing threateningly behind gansey while he monologues. gansey, oblivious in his excitement to teach. ronan, towering over him, an ominous dark cloud, making very direct and very uncomfortable eye contact with u, daring u to interrupt or make fun of gansey or say anything vaguely disapproving. he even drags his thumb across his throat. you know, to imply that he’ll slit ur throat if u do anything wrong. and gansey is talking about tree rings

the raven cycle is hilarious because blue and gansey are living in a coming of age romcom and adam and ronan are living in a supernatural horror film and then when they all hang out it immediately turns into an 80s treasure hunting brotherhood flick. and then they go their separate ways and adam and ronan immediately start battling the horrors again while blue and gansey eat yogurt
I know that we are all aware of the many similarities between All for the game and The Raven cycle but I feel the need to point them out anyway. These books are all amazing and life changing and I would not recommend them to ANYONE, but everyone in the world needs to read them. They are just books. No they are NOT, they are an experience. You read them for the first time because why not and then you have to re read them constantly because your whole life revolves around them now. They make no fucking sense whatsoever and yet every word is etched into my soul. Everyone in the books has so much past trauma and gains new trauma during the story. Everyone is SO loved. The found families are top tier, and every member would die for the others no questions asked. There's murder. There's abusive parents. There's iconic cars. There's unhinged characters obsessed with random things ( exy- finding a dead Welsh king ). There's ravens. All the characters are lgbtq because we say so. They're stories about finding your place in the world.
Since you guys are 100% my people I just need to share what I made with you because I'm sure you'll be as exited as me

I don’t get the people who always add “and blue” to posts that talk about “the Raven boys” like she is not an honorary Raven boy. Like whenever I read something about the Raven boys I never ever think it doesn’t include blue. She’s as much part of it as all the others. Her not going to aglionby isn’t important. It’s more about vibes than anything else. Blue IS a Raven boy.
