(I commented this but I want to go more into an Owl House au)
Also this is going to allude to thing that happen in Owl House, I’m not super clear about it but if you don’t want to know anything about Owl House, especially season 2-3, maybe don’t read bc I know what this is talking about but I’m not sure how clear it is to those that don’t know.
Basically, vague spoilers for Owl House, beware when reading ahead.
Healing track rapunzel, potions Merida, beat keeping Hiccup, and not sure what Jack would do but he would definitely love flyer derpy.
For Palismen I’m thinking chameleon for Rapunzel (bc pascal), maybe bear for Merida, and obviously a little dragon for hiccup. Although a bat might also work since that’s what toothless was based on but. I wanna say Bunny for Jack, specifically a snow hare since it was a rabbit that caused him to connect with Jamie at the end of the movie.
For Merida I could see her as a child that either wandered into the demon realm under similar circumstances to Luz. Her mother was feed up with her ruff and tumble behavior so she sent her off to a boarding school so she would act like a proper lady and then she found her way into the demon real while she was wondering around the woods. Also, I don’t think this Merida would have a changing taking her place so her mom is freaking the fuck out. Another idea for Merida is that she doesn’t have much, if any magic, so she gets bullied for it. She’s not good at potions, this was made obvious in the films, but she is still amazing at archery and any sport that involves a broom. I also imagine that her parents are pretty big names in this world, kind of like how Amity’s parents are, though I don’t think they are entrepreneurs. They might be but I’m not sure if it fits them right.
Hiccup is a boy who’s father works for the emperor’s coven, possibly as a coven head. His father wants him to follow in his footsteps but Hiccup wants to go into beast keeping and wolf magic. A hobby that’s only encouraged by his friend Jack. Jack lives on his own in the woods away from everyone, his family practiced wild magic and he got separated from them after their camp got raided by the emperors coven. Hiccup meet Jack basically the same way hiccup meet toothless.
Focusing more on Jack, I imagine him to be a lot like Eda. He lives on his own, is on the run from the emperors coven, and is incredibly skilled at magic. He’s not in school, he was homeschooled for years and has no desire to attend any. He’s heard about them from Hiccup and despises it.
I have plans for Rapunzel, but it’s a bit of stupid, or I feel kind of stupid putting it into words. Basically, Rapunzel is a witch and she was taken after her birth to the human world. She grows up in isolation with no connections with those in her community due to the fears her mother put into her since she was little. She’s scared of strangers and has trouble talking to others but she can’t stop herself from being fascinated by the world around her and wants to go on a grand adventure of her own. She ends up going to the demons world one night and gets the adventure she wanted while also finding a family.
Another route is that Rapunzel was artificially created by magic to help keep Mother Gothel, who would be a replacement for The Emperor, alive and young for years. The gang could meet her when Jack gets caught and Hiccup and Merida go looking for him only for them to stumble upon Rapunzel instead. The two convince her to help them find Jack and she agrees only to freak out when she realizes that Jack is a wild witch bc gothel drilled it into her head from a young age that wild witches were dangerous but they’re eventually able to get Jack out with minimal fuss. Although Rapunzel is in a lot of trouble with Mother Gothel.
Basically, in every version Rapunzel would have the struggle of wanting to explore a world that she’s been told only to fear for her entire life and slowly realizes that the world is nothing to fear so long as you have your family besides you. Jack would represent freedom and exploration and would be the urge in everyone to explore and have fun. Merida would be a resilience to be yourself and sticking to who you are even when your constantly told that your not good enough. Hiccup is the ability to grow into your own person and have confidence in what you enjoy.
I don’t know why I added this last part but those are the general idea I have for these characters if this was a story. I also have characters they would be a sort of mishmash of. So far it’s Merida = Willow and Amity. Jack = Eda, Rapunzel = Luz and Hunter, and Hiccup = Gus and Hunter but more focus on Hunters interest in Wild Magic and the arc where he gets more open about what he’s interest in and indulges in it as time goes on.

I’m not the kind to cause drama, but i do like to see drama and how people handle it and have my own opinion on it. Something about it seems satisfying when people after some arguments solve into agreements (if that happens)
Now thinking about it made me think about the kinds of drama fandoms get/have and how it effects its fanbase and people who love this certain fandom
And then I remembered a fandom I used to like (still like). ROTBTD, despite how weird this crossover is..
it was fun and kinda nice to imagine these four characters who probably don’t know each other would meet each other and have these bizarre adventures.
Yet I only heard about the ship wars and Maybe Jelsa and frozen being added war in general. I won’t say my opinion on it but I still don’t know much about why people back then dislike it and what other dramas happened there. And I don’t even know if there’s any other dramas tbh
Sure i like the chill side of every fandom there - yet i find it kinda interesting to know about that drama that happens to the others side and perhaps be careful of it if needed.
I hope we can revive old fandoms they were so much for me even tho i was abit late. Or maybe am just too dang shy and embarrassed of me having the weirdest fandoms and communicating in them.

Danny- ghosts are awful around technology so it kept crashing on him // it took Sam and Tucker holding him back so he wouldn’t break his phone and computer

Violet- didn’t even bother, just turned invisible and got in that way, who’s going to stop her??

So everyone knows both of these groups right, rotbtd and the futuristic four
Yeah we all know them
To my complete surprise there is little to no content with all eight of them, which is crazy cuz this being a crossover fandom i assumed people would go nuts for a team up
So i decided to do it myself, and i introduce them as: The Elite Eight (ft a mediocre edit)
The team dynamics would work the same way they would as in their regular settings, i.e.:
Hiccup and Penny are the voices of reason, Merida and Wilbur are the thrill seekers etc etc
Only difference is now that the group is basically 4 freshmen and 4 juniors we have the classic Mentor and Student dynamic
As for the world building, to sum it up rq. It’s a modern/futuristic with magic universe combining brave, tangled/tts, bh6, bolt, mtr, the incredibles(1-2) and elements of rotg and httyd (specifically race to the edge)
Things like dragons, wisps, and magic all exist, but in a percy jackson type fashion. Only specific people can see these things ykwim
The movies are all canon (not rotg, for reasons to be elaborated on later) but with a modern twist, to be explained below:
How To Train Your Dragon - 3 years pre-canon
Meet The Robinsons, Bolt - 2 years pre-canon
Big Hero Six - 1 year pre-canon
Brave, Tangled, Rise Of The Guardians - in the story
As for ROTG, the whole “guardians of childhood” thing isn’t in this au because i couldn’t make it work. So for a modern retelling of that, tldr Jack is basically a teen in the foster system with major amnesia. The guardians are as they were but they’re not “guardians”, more like Jacks new foster family that also happen to be a bunch of magical creatures and myths.
The guardians and their house are basically a fusion of professor xaviors mansion/school for mutants(X-Men), the house in The Grimm Sisters, the treehouse in The Last Kids On Earth and the camp in Percy Jackson.
As for the superhero aspect, Violet and Hiro are gonna get the Peter Parker treatment. They’re hiding things from everyone else, which is crazy because everyone in the group is hiding something and i think that’s super funny
