Fantasy world where everyone's as sick of the cliches as you are.
You arrive at the noble king's castle and his head is in his hands. "Guess who's back on their fucking bullshit?" he says, holding up an image of the dark lord. The entire court sighs in unison.

I didn’t know I needed this?? I’ve had so many characters that fit so perfectly into some of these
Rarer D&D alignments
Bastard Good: You make the world better for people but in a really obnoxious way so everyone low-key hates you for it
Chaotic Dead: You set yourself on fire at the start of each session
Informed Evil: you're wearing a red cape and cackling so we kind of assume you've probably done some bad things off screen, right?
Lawful Pointless: You follow the rules of chess in every situation you find yourself in.
False Neutral: HAHA FOOLS! I WAS NO DRUID! I WAS A PALADIN ALL ALONG!
Lawful Anxious: You follow very strict laws but you don't know what those laws are or if you're breaking them.
Personal Evil: rather then making things worse for sapient life, you work to make things worse for Steve specifically. Everyone else is fine.
Centrist Neutral: "I don't support The Chained God Tharizdun breaking free and unmaking all reality but if we stop him through force we're just as bad as he is. Did you know there's actually zero difference between good and bad things?"
Sponsored Good: You provide justice, compassion and the great taste of subways sandwiches! Put in the code SMITETHESINNERS when ordering online for 20% off!
Sexy Lawful: You follow very strict rules but in such a way we kind of suspect you're getting off on it.
Chaotic Incidental: You act completely randomly but by sheer chance your actions turn out identical to if you followed very strict rules.
Theoretical Good: You want to do good things to help the world and once you stop binging Netflix you're absolutely going to.
Ugly Neutral: None of the other alignments want to hang out with you so you're neutral by default
Chaotic Meta: You pointedly refuse to follow the rules of the game you're playing.
Thirsty Evil: Look, orcs are hot, ok?

Perfect Cut games is currently working on an AvP tabletop game! We are looking for playtesters, artists open for commission, lore posters/writers, anyone with an OC or two, people interested in seeing game progress, and whoever else wants to show up! Come on and join the hunt!

Art used is made by the only artist we have right about now, Sand, who's in the discord.

Reblogging to raise awareness of this cool campaign 🫖🐭

A sample page spread from the GM's Guide in our current kickstarter project, a collection of 50 system-neutral magic items for TTRPGs inspired by medieval literature, marginalia, and archaeology.
Okay, technically this one is inspired by pre-medieval archaeology, but come on. Look at it. You can't be mad at those little mice.
This was inspired by the following item of ancient pottery, currently held by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (link here):

And no, I cannot explain how or why I decided that this thing should be used to make helpful mouse-constructs out of wine. But if you want it to do that for you, you can back the kickstarter at the link below -- it runs until the end of June.

galactic 2e supplement bundle for star wars day!
I have a playbook in this bundle!
galactic is the best star wars rpg - it's diceless, gmless, and has been accurately described as 'what if star wars cared about the characters as much as we do'. We played it on @merelyroleplayers:
My playbook, the Researcher, is inspired by Doctor Aphra from the Darth Vader and Doctor Aphra comics; Eno Cordova from the Fallen Order game; and Lyntel'luroon, Kat's character from Star Wars Campaign.
Get that plus 22 other brilliant galactic supplements - playbooks, rules expansions and more - until the end of May!
Henry (Josh Yard) giving MacReady "No one trusts each other any more, and we're all very tired" vibes on The Feed
Of all of us, Josh is really the one making the most of the fact this series is video, not pure audio like we're all used to - the laundry basket video, and now the visual storytelling of the wrist support. When I'm prepping for my instalments I'm mostly thinking about how to marry the prompts into something that makes sense for the character, and the visual thinking is mostly about framing or how I sit in the chair. Josh keeps me upping my game!
Henry's take on THAT fight
A physical fight! On Big Brother! On national television! But who threw the first plate? Henry's got his theories but he's still smarting from his best mate Heidi getting evicted. Can't wait to hear the other housemates' takes on this!

All the beautiful things that inspired this dice tray.

This might be my favorite Dice Tray I've made!
Tiny little dragons.
In tiny little wagons.
Drinking little beers from their tiny little flagons.

Prototype game board design for the recently re-branded Roar of Alliance (previously called Armored Reckoning). I moved from a tabloid sized (11x17) playmat to a proper 20x20 game board (though this file is sized 20x17 for easy prototyping). This version of the board contains all the relevant rules updates from previous iterations, and moving to a full sized board let me put places for all the various custom cards directly on the board.

You can tell it is a game board because there’s a cat on it, ready to mess with any components.
This is the prototype game board for my RPG hybrid board game Roar of Alliance.
Check out the latest episode of Leading with Class, the educational YouTube series I produce (for writer and host @briecs). In it, they use roleplaying games to explain concepts from leadership, and suggest activities you can do to build your knowledge and skill.
Take a look!

Turn is fully funded, and now ships physical rewards anywhere on Earth. Check it out, and back for your copy of the game now!

Prepare yourselves.
