I just gotta ask a quick question before I do anything tbh.

So, basically, I have a character that has dealt with sexual trauma as a child. It has basically affected his whole life and world and everything really.

He does later find out that he's Aroace but doesn't understand if it's due to his trauma or not.

Obviously, there are lots of factors involved. But the best I would describe him is someone who's sex repulsed but doesn't mind romantic or queer platonic relationship and can make them pretty well.

Is there any way I could portray him where it wouldn't seem like I'm saying "oH, yOu jUsT HaVe tRauMa. tHaT's wHy yoU haTe smEx." (Ik in the grand scheme of things, some assholes will see it as that. But this ain't about those asses, this is about ya'll. So speak your shit.)

(Also (if anyone's comfortable), do tell me some insight on your stuff. I'm obviously not aromantic or asexual, but if you are, I'd be happy to get your views and the discriminations that you all (sadly) might face/be facing).
