There were so many things Brad wanted to say. Chris remained patient. Maybe Brad wanted to play doctor. That was always really fun.
Chris didn’t know what it was. A Rubik’s cube? Brad guessed it was a VCR then suggested it actually didn’t matter what it was. They could use it as a paper weight. Brad and Chris immediately lol’d. Paper didn’t have muscles. That’s when their neighbor Luke asked ‘Y would anyone have paper?’ Brad then asked Luke what he was doing in their bedroom at 9:04am on a Thursday. Chris then chimed in to say he thought Luke’s question was valid. They’ve never kept paper at the house. Like ever.
Contrary to his boyfriend’s shallow assumptions, life was not a game for Chris. Obviously, he took his coconuts very seriously and failed to find humor in anything Brad said as to the situation.
Chris then raised the straw to his lips for a swig. “Mmmmm. Mmmmm. Mmmmm. Straight up. This is some good coconut milk.”
Chris finished savoring the first sip. “Seriously Brad, you’ve got to try this. I’ve see your eyes grow on the coconuts bro!”
