So I was eating dinner, and some pizza guy randomly called my phone, and he said he couldn't find where I lived. I was like "dude. I didn't order a damn thing. And how did you get my number?" So I always thought "what if it was the boys that ordered 20 pizzas, chicken wings, and large orange fanta?" So I hung up on the dumbass delivery guy, and blocked the number anyway. Oh well. 😑

I just had a discussion earlier tonight on a fandom discord server about people doing this; it’s absolutely wild that it’s such a widespread problem.
My personal experience with this recently was that I had someone comment on one of my fics saying something like “You lost me here because ___ would never happen” and I was like but... That part was canon...
And on top of that they’d never commented anything else before and apparently didn’t have any problem with all the other weird stuff I’d put into my fic, so like ??? Why are people like this?
you know what you don’t need to do? you don’t need to leave a comment explaining what part of a fic you didn’t find realistic. you don’t need to do that. you can just keep those thoughts in your head.

The human ability to ignore pain is why I walked around with the need for a root canal for two weeks before it woke me in the middle of the night requiring immediate attention. I spent the next three days floating and amazed at how much energy I had now that it wasn’t tied up with dealing with the pain.
Healthy people who say stuff like “they’re still doing things so they can’t be in THAT much pain” need to understand that after a certain point pain becomes boring. No, you never get used to the pain, but you do gradually become bored. After months or years of mindless suffering in bed eventually you learn how to watch TV, do a light hobby, etc., even while in extreme pain, simply because chronic pain is incredibly dull and humans need entertainment.
Lol, for real though. As a kid I wanted ALL toys and ONLY toys. You gave me something else and I’d be so disappointed, although I never showed it because I feel bad and have manners.
Then came the moment I realized I was officially grown up, when I started opening gifts and going, “Geez I hope this is clothing, cause I need clothes. If it’s anything but I’ll be disappointed. Wait that’s a lie, I need lotion and perfume, and you know a candle wouldn’t hurt either.”
That’s how you know my siblings are getting older. My mom asked my sister what she wanted for this past Christmas and she said idk, sushi I guess.
