We collectively are:

genderfluid - a non-fixed gender identity that shifts over time or depending on the situation

sapphic - an umbrella term that includes lesbian, bisexual, and pansexual trans femmes, mascs, nonbinary folks, and cis women

a-spec - an umbrella term for anyone who identifies on the asexual/asensual/aplatonic/anaesthetic/afamilial/aromantic (etc.) spectrum(s)

xenogender - a gender that cannot be contained by human understandings of gender

I (Ash) am:

lesbian - non-man attracted to non-men

agenderfluid - in which one is fluid between agender and its spectrum

(I'm a paradox because I'm every gender and no gender at the same time)

omniaspec - someone who is a-spec in every attraction

aegosexual - enjoying consuming sexual content but not desiring sex yourself

(I like reading smut for the intimacy but the idea of having sex myself is repulsive)

demisensual - only experiencing sensual attraction (a desire for non-sexual physical contact) after a specific bond has been made

demiqueerplatonic - in which someone only experiences queerplatonic attraction after forming a deep bond/connection with someone

caedfamilial - where one feels like their allofamilial attraction disappeared or changed to either strictly afamilial or afaspec due to trauma

neuroplatonic - when your neurodivergent condition affects your platonic attraction

polyamorous - the practice of, or desire for, romantic relationships with more than one partner at the same time

(I would be okay dating one person but I'd prefer to be in a polyamorous relationship)

cupioromantic - someone who doesn't feel romantic attraction but desires a romantic relationship

stargender - a xenogender in which one's gender is or is like a star

mittgender - a xenogender for when one's gender is influenced by a feeling of cosiness and warmth

gendersea - a gender that is vast sea of caverns and depths yet to be discovered

gendervoid - referring to the sense that there is “an empty space,” a void, where a gender identity would be

astralgender - a gender that feels connected to space

deathcute - a xenogender that feels like death, darkness, horror, and monsters – but in a wholesome way that is also endearing, comforting, beautiful, and whimsical

caelgender - an aesthetigender identity in which one's gender is largely focused on space-related things such as stars, aliens, planets, galaxies, and/or black holes

greyalterous - when alterous attraction is experienced infrequently

frayaesthetic - attraction that fades as one gets to know the individual they're attracted to

in honour of pride month, im starting a tag game! if you feel comfortable, share your labels and what they mean! if you dont label yourself/dont know the correct labels for yourself, you can just describe yourself instead :)

its important for us in the lgbtqia+ community to remember that, while a lot of us just sit under the 'gay' or 'queer' umbrella when talking about ourselves, many of us use labels that are more precise, but feel we cant share our full selves with others because its 'too much' or 'too confusing'. yknow that tiktok sound where one person describes a long complicated coffee and the other just says 'tea'? share your complicated coffee!! be your full selves!

to start us off, im abrosexual and genderfluid (flags in my pfp)! i use they/she/he pronouns. abrosexuality is a fluidity of sexuality, which in my case means that my sexuality fluctuates in tandem with my gender. so, when im feeling more fem/genderless, i only really find myself romantically attracted to non-men, but on more masc days i might have some romantic attraction to someone of any gender. some days, i have no romantic attraction at all, no matter what my gender presents as. my sexual attraction fluctuates too, but less in relation to my gender identity. it also holds no correlation to my romantic attraction.

Random fact about me that does actually have something to do with the Sun:

I have visual snow, as much as I enjoy the suns rays on my skin, I can't look at a clear bright sky for very long. My whole vision fills with a blanket of white after a few seconds. I tend to look up at the sky with the sun behind me, if I have to look at something in the sun's general direction and there isn't enough things to block it's light, I'll take a quick look and tell you what I *can* see (if anything) or turn away and ask for a picture. (9/10 times I just move the conversation along or the other person just tells me after I say I can't see it, which is annoying cause with "better" lighting I can see pretty far actually.)

Now I know some might be like "pretty sure you're not supposed to look at the sun silly!" That's not what I mean. I mean the literal entire landscape, is washed out. I actually spent a significant amount of time as a kid just looking at the floor tbh lol. (Fluorescent lighting in public places can go fuck themselves.)

I'd say my joy for nature came from when I explored the woods around where I lived as a kid. The trees would shade me, but not too much as to not feel the sun beams pearing through. It was lovely.

I don't think I would of gotten the same joy I do out of nature if it wasn't for this particular experience. I enjoy learning about all types of magick but I chose Solar as a focus because of how it's shaped and affected me, for the good and the bad.

I love it for the melanin in my skin, it reminds me to be happy and free. I love it for my soul, I used to stay hidden for so long in hopes of solitude and peace, but I remembered that with the sun comes the shade, the trees which shielded me, grow from its warmth too.

The only way to describe my gender.

I remember for a long time I imagined my gender like this but I didn't understand why this theoretical room was so bright. Why did I always specify the light, why did I want to? Turns out I thought about it for a reason. It's a silly little analogy but it's literally the best way I can say it.

I think a lot of people have a complex way of describing their gender but just haven't needed to or perhaps they don't want to but it's there? Idk I'd like to live in a time where I can feel like that too, like I don't have to prove my gender everyday and can be just me.

Is there a privilege in at least thinking about this and coming to my own understanding of my gender?

Would others benefit in being able to ask themselves what their gender is to them without judgment?

Is there always judgment?

Is it inescapable?

The vast unknown is scary but I've been living in it for a minute and I'm still shining bright.

I hope to keep shining bright, I hope to shine bright with my fellow Stars in the sky.

My Chaotic planner, I started using it yesterday, but I've been decorating it all last month. Got some planner pages on Etsy (ObsidianSirenShop) and printed them on my own designed background, don't know if I can share pics of those so I'm not gonna, but the shop is credited above. The inner back of the binder has my birth chart hidden in it (censored with giant vaporwave dolphins so you can't see the whole design unfortunately).

If it isn't already obvious I LOVE cinnamoroll and I couldn't not put him on here, he's ma boy and I love him. 🩵🩵🩵

I had a lot of fun making this and have 2 more planners on their way so I can my my Grimoire bigger (I have too many pages lmao)

Oh and I guess the only thing you can read on my birth chart is that I'm not a Gemini (like at all) lmao

(I hope that doesn't come back to astronomically destroy me, like some how you can figure out my birth chart or something but I think I'm just paranoid lmao.)

The binder itself: a light blue A4 binder made to look like a composition book, it's speckled with grey dots on the blue background, it's spine is black, it says nice day in an oval near the top and underneath it says "/DESIGN BY QUHE" and underneath that it says "Hope every day is as beautiful as today".

Near the bottom it has a drawing of a music player, backwards button, pause button, fast-forward button and underneath it it has the music progress bar 1/8 across front he left (like the song only just started)

xenogenders are so cool like... they're almost like metaphors. like "i have a gender and the way it makes me feel reminds me of a shining sun, so im sungender" is so? poetic? it's beautiful?

they're also like abstract art... with the way a painting can look like one thing but actually be mentally connected to something else. like a abstract painting in varying shades of blue can represent the ocean.

i honestly think xenogenders are one of the most beautiful displays of gender variance. it taps into the emotions that gender draws from, and instead of clunking into the box "male" or "female," or even man/woman, they create an entirely new, personal experience

xenogenders are the essence of gender.
