Presenting an alternate universe where the collector resurrected Belos only to throw him into los angeles for the sake of watching everything he does as entertainment. He gets stuck in a convention and accidentally crashes the Danganronpa booth during the announcement of season 53 while wandering around confused out of his mind. A Danganronpa contestant, Tsumugi Shirogane, then takes pity on him and tries to return Philip to Connecticut but crashes her car after mistaking a hitchhiker for bigfoot. They get picked up by a helpful man named Alfred F. Jones who is coincidentally on his way to Washington DC. He takes them on route 66 for, you know, the memories until he crashes his car in a high speed chase where the gang is trying to outrun the mob.
Along the way Belos and Alfred bond over US history (and their childhoods in the 1700s), Alfred bonds with Tsumugi over Danganronpa, and Belos manipulates Tsumugi into telling him about the modern world.
My list of comfort characters is really weird I have: Goro Akechi, Yosuke Hanamura, Ken Amanda, Sou Hiyori, Nagisa Shingetsu, Norman Babcock, Eggs Trubshaw, Papyrus from Undertale, Hunter from the owl house, The Collector from the owl house, Zuko, and Lucas from Mother 3... I'm just wondering what would happen if they were all placed in a room together. That would be real interesting and maybe concerning.

This is sort of an AU kinda? I imagine the sun to be his mom while the stars are his siblings.
It’s the One Year Anniversary of For The Future and I decided to make some art! I remember being so excited as I watched Luz get Stringbean, as Huntlow became canon, as Boscha was tricked by Amity and Matt, and every single other bit of that episode. I cant believe a year has already passed, it’s insane. I cannot say this enough, thank you Dana.
In For The Future it's hinted that The Collector has already started to somewhat learn what friendship is through spending time with King. In particular This Scene:
Where Terra is smart mouthing him. He only looks mildly irritated. More so at the fact that she isn't getting her "role" right. UNTIL she insults King.
Where he's surprised and then they look over At King.
Before getting mad on King's behalf. Which show's that they consider King getting insulted a big No No. Meaning he doesn't want anyone possibly hurting King's feelings with their words.
And then, instead of turning Terra into a doll/puppet for not "playing right" or "being a convincing enough Eda", they specifically state that:
