So, this is a Tiktok video someone stole and reposted here on Tumblr. I've linked the post because I didn't want to interact with it and help it gain more notes.
But my problem isn't with the fact this is a stolen video, my problem is with the utterly ridiculous "trend" of straight-up hijacking someone else's Tiktok, stitching it and spewing a load of dumb nonsense and plain lies. Alright, I admit this is an old video, and the trend is old too, but that doesn't mean it isn't obnoxious as hell. This is basically the online equivalent of interrupting someone in the middle of what they're saying, only to begin yapping about some completely unrelated bullshit. But then again, I doubt if anyone can name at least one decent "trend" that came from Tiktok. 🙄 There's literally NO point in stitching someone's Tiktok if you're not even gonna say anything related to OP. You could've easily made your own Tiktok??? Or did you hop on the "trend" so that the algorithm would make it viral & get you the clout you crave? Imagine being in OP's place. Thousands of people stitching your Tiktok, not because they agree with what you're saying; but just to shade you and share completely made-up "life stories" that no one asked for. In that post, some people have commented criticizing the black girl who hijacked OP's video, saying that it's a bitch move & that they were genuinely interested in the homemade pesto recipe (which is what OP was talking about). But that's NOTHING compared to the amount of vitriol another YouTuber got, who hopped on this same "trend". And rightfully so.
Y'all have y'all's own blogs, channels, accounts etc for a reason. Use it independently.
And keep this👆 in mind before hopping on yet another offensive "trend". Also, please don't send hate to the blog linked above. They have nothing to do with this.

How the “🤪delulu is the solulu” girlies look at me after I tell them about how once my whole neighborhood had a blackout and I couldn’t put my tv on for noise to sleep (so I was just in a completely black room, terrified) but then a car drove by my window and as the light moved across my room it illuminated a whole man standing in the middle of my room (whom I did not recognize) and he was too clear to be explained as just a work of my imagination (I could describe his clothes in detail to this day even though this happened years ago) and it scared so me viscerally I didn’t want to enter my room even in the daylight the next day and solidified my constant use of my tv light for protection when I go to sleep.
