I was today years old when I realized that Agent Melinda May from SHIELD is the voice of Mulan. No wonder Agent May’s called The Calvary. She saved all of China, why not save the world too? Dishonor on me and my cow for not realizing this sooner.
It’s kind of awesome and weird as an adult to watch films you loved as a child and recognize the voices.

I think part of why I have trouble explaining pain to the doctor is when they ask about the pain scale I always think “Well, if someone threw me down a flight of stairs right now or punched me a few times, it would definitely hurt a lot more” so I end up saying a low number. I was reading an article that said that “10” is the most commonly reported number and that is baffling to me. When I woke up from surgery with an 8" incision in my body and I could hardly even speak, I was in the most horrific pain of my life but I said “6” because I thought “Well, if you hit me in the stomach, it would be worse.”

I know everyone fluffs up their fantasies for the sake of fantasy, but I want to address some pregnancy/general reproduction misconceptions that are becoming pet peeves:
Labor does not start when the water breaks. Labor starts at the first contraction and can go on for tens of hours, even multiple days.
Water breaking usually isn't a big gush of liquid like a water fall
Water breaking is not an indicator of crowning
Water breaking happens long before the cervix is dilated enough to give birth but it is an indicator of active labor, which just means labor is getting more intense (Active Labor generally lasts 4-8+ hours)
Milk comes in after birth, usually a few days after
A belly usually won't start to be visible until around 3-4 months into a pregnancy, and barely at that
The vulva is the actual hole. The vagina is the inside of the hole. The cervix is the base of the hole. The cervix opens up into the uterus.
The clitoris is both inside and outside the body. Clitoral vs vaginal stimulation is actually stimulating the outside head that's visible vs the ends just outside the vaginal walls

First is Blite, an elf *coff* actual fae *coff* who can hunt as a champion, but actually loves animals, from my friend Nat :]
Second is Til (once again xD) an elf who can control time magic, and is swag. Makes the party members question what means friendship (as most of us don't know what to think of him); from my friend Esteban!
And the last one is my character, Ciro! A halfling who is a wizard of the illusion. Pretty much a nervous old man, who is a bit grumpy :D

I just learned that Princess Daisy's voice provider in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Giselle Fernandez, is nonbinary. As a nonbinary Daisy fan, this makes me so, so happy for reasons that I don't even know how to articulate. :')
