We make one of TSAMS/TLAES have diabetes (example Bloodmoon), and basically it’s the lore (we can change the lore to be something else), but also with their struggle to deal with diabetes. Idk just a random idea in my head if you wanna do it.

Had to change that email on my Dexcom to match an email they had on file. Dexcom app wouldn’t let me.
Had to delete said app.
Got the email changed! Now can’t get on the app because I need a sensor, which was what I needed to change the email for-- because they wouldn’t approve my sensors OR my new transmitter without that email being the same (for insurance reasons, I guess??).
Have to call them for a fourth time tomorrow to sort this shit out, because they close at 5.
I want to cry. Or eat a whole cake in defiance.
As much as I appreciate juiceboxed advertised to kids working to lower their sugar, I still need some juice to have sugar so when I wake up at 2 in the morning with a sudden crash in sugar (sudden as in it went down too fast for even the most accurate sensor on the market [Dexcom G7] to detect), I can drink a juice box to raise my blood sugar and not need four more. Seriously, I have to drink like 5 capri suns in order to not die. And no I don't want to buy "glucose shots" they're considered a health product, which makes them 150% more expensive per unit, and that may be a low estimate. Hi-C still has some sugary varieties sold in retail, so god bless. This isn't a rant against companies trying to be healthier, this is specifically a Me Problem (and I guess other type 1 diabetics) and a very niche complaint

Low blood sugar is kind of funny to think about sometimes, it’s almost like a curse. You get to ignore your chronic illness for a little bit and eat without worrying about insulin or carbs. But at the same time your body is slowly shutting down, your brain is starving and you are in a confused, sweaty daze. So while you are enjoying a small moment without the stress of diabetes, you are also actively dying.

My blood sugar has been consistently spiking around 8:30-9:00pm for the last week (at least??) and I keep thinking my pump would for sure have recognized and adjusted for that by now but it just keeps happening 😫 I’m doing really well mental-health-wise not having to micro-manage my blood sugar but I was doing a lot better numbers-wise when I was!
