Occasional glitches are funny
✝️ 3 major coincidences happened to me today & I don't know what it means. Is God speaking to me?
Okay so today I had an experience where I was tapping out an old song that my mom used to hum to herself but I was tapping the song out on my knee, and I don't listen to secular music anymore. But I was tapping out the song and as I stopped tapping it my mother came from out of the bathroom and I thought that she heard me tapping the song, but her coming out of the bathroom and my stopping the tapping, was merely a coincidence. I do not listen to secular music anymore, but that song had a video to it which had a Coming to America movie theme. That was coincidence number one. Then coincidence number two was as I read a scripture in the Bible which talks about Jesus freeing a man of a demon in Mark 1:26 which reads,"the impure spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek." I was reading this verse as research to respond to another redditor. But to explain what happened, as I read the word "shook" in that verse, my aunt shook her hand in response to whatever was on her screen on her tablet as she was playing a game. And I asked her what was wrong and she said, "nothing" she was " just playing the game". That was coincidence number two. And then coincidence number three occurred when I stood up to ask God what he was trying to show me with those two incidents and as soon as I said that I sat back down and I looked forward at the window seal in my aunt's room and there was an ant on the window seal. I popped up to get the ant in an attempt not to let it crawl too far into the room and my aunt asked, " what do you see " and I said, " it's an ant " right after I said that, I looked up out the window to see my cousin! who has the same name of that insect in his name. He just so happened to pull his car up in the parking spot that is in front of my aunt's room window. He could have pulled up anywhere, as there were multiple and still is multiple parking spots here at the place that we are at. I know that the Bible mentions the word coincidence one time and it is said by Jesus.
It is used only once in the New Testament, and it was by Jesus Himself in the parable of the Good Samaritan. In Luke 10:31, Jesus said, “And by a coincidence a certain priest was going down in that way, and having seen him, he passed over on the opposite side.”
The word coincidence is translated from the Greek word synkyrian, which is a combination of the words sun and kurios. Sun means “together with,” and kurious means “supreme in authority.” So a biblical definition of coincidence would be “what occurs together by God’s providential arrangement of circumstances.”

a guy giving a piggyback ride to another kid: Dude, catch the ball!
Kid on back: OK!
Kid kicking ball: *kicks ball so hard it hits the kid on the guys back's face*
Kid on back: AHH CRAP!! *falls off back*
Me: *in the corner wheezing from laughing too hard*
Nothing She Could’ve Done
His day started off normally.
Izuku waking up and looking over online if there were any updates in the hero world, then at the same time, feel slightly pained, thinking if he even can be one of them. After having breakfast of what his mother made he got ready for school.
He smiled as he saw the number beside his mother’s head, knowing that she’ll still be there with him for more years to come.
A little over 40 years more.
How does he know you ask? Well, its a given. Other than the quirk thing happening all over the world, everyone can see how long before... they die. Except themselves though.
It’s a bit horrifying actually, knowing that death is inevitable.
But other than that, like he said, everything was going normally. Except a few things. For some reason his mother has been emotional since last night, Izuku thought it was because she was watching some kind of drama on TV but seeing her with her eyes puffy and red -most likely from crying all night- this morning.
Something definitely happened.
But Izuku don’t know what that is.
Izuku asked, but he got a quiet sad smile from her before she continued to prepare breakfast.
Since his mother didn’t seem like she wants to share whatever it was, Izuku didn’t push her while he continued to do his routine.
Izuku slipped on his signature red sneakers by the doorway and pulling his yellow backpack on as well, the greenette turned around to look at his mother standing right behind him.
“Well, then. I’m off to school now.” He declared even though he didn’t want to go. But he has to.
Inko smiled sadly, tearing up all over again, for whatever reason.
“Come on, mom, what’s wrong? You’ve been sad ever since yesterday.” Izuku asked worriedly as Inko walked closer and grabbed hold of her son’s face.
She smiled, trying to reassure him by which she failed.
It made him worry even more.
Inko looked him in the eye, tears threatening to fall, caressing his freckled cheek tenderly with her thumb, remembering the time when the boy was just born in her arms.
A part of her didn’t want him to go, to keep him safe in the safety of their own home.
But, alas, she can’t...
“Keep safe out there, okay? Izu?” She said with a sad smile, trying hard to not to cry in front of him right now.
“Of course I will mom!” He said,although he can’t promise he’ll come home unharmed since his classmates are... bullies. But he’ll try his best to go home safely.
Inko smiled, her touch lingering before she had to pull back her hand and let him head to the door.
“I love you Izuku.” Inko said like the thousands of times she’s told her that ever since he was born as Izuku pulled open the door.
Izuku looked back to look his mother in the eye, still he wonders what was wrong, why does she looks pained, looks so broken. But he knows he won’t get the answer.to it.
“Love you too!” He said with a bright smile, hoping it was enough for her to not worry or be sad, before he went out the door.
The door closed exactly at the time Inko collapsed into tears, sobbing, mourning. The dam broken, letting it all loose.
There wasn’t anything she could do.
Later that day, while still in tears she received a call.
Izuku Midoriya died from a villain attack. He was killed as he was going home from school, attacked by a sludge villain as it was trying to take over his body, drowning Izuku in the process. All Might came and was able to detain the villain but was too late to save the young man.
Death is inevitable...
