I’m re-reading my favorite book series (The Girl Who Dared To Think by Bella Forrest, it’s a sci-fi dystopia set in the future when the world basically dies and becomes toxic and if anyone is curious I can and will go further in depth about it but anyways) and I’ve been blasted with a wonderful idea for a fanfiction.
But there’s literally no point because I have never met someone else who has read this series and I require human validation for any works I make or else I just get disillusioned with them which is really unfortunate.
But damn do I want to write it

This is so hardcore truth. I started my first story (Breaking and Entering) for myself.
Then I started writing my second story (Reciprocal Synergy) after reading fanfics for the first time and stopped after no one paid any attention to it when I posted it on here and AO3.
After reading an amazing story by @yoongiofmine I got inspired to write another story (American Mate) which I was originally going to keep to myself because the online world already shot down one of my stories so why do it again but my oldest child said “so what do it for yourself” and I did.
Now American Mate has a full Taglist, I have a permanent tag list, had a reader request for a story (Was It Fate?), and have started a fourth story (Incomplete).
Write for yourself.
Enjoy what you wrote.
Somewhere out there someone else will match your freak.
Someone else will want to escape into your world.
Someone else needs to feel that support even from a character in a story on their electronic device.
