I really want to write right now and yet I've been sitting her for 15 minutes staring blankly at my screen listening to music just waiting for the entire 500-page book going on in my head to somehow write itself exactly how I want it to be

I talk to myself while I walk my dog. After several occassions where I’ve been caught doing so, I now always walk him while wearing earbuds, and if anyone walks past, I go, in the most dramatic way possible, “I told you not to do that!”

You know when you’re planning/writing a story and you slowly start rutting for that one side character and you want to write their story but you know you can’t because if you want their story to make any sense you have to write the MCs story first? Yeah, it sucks.

So this is what happens when I try to write.
Shortly after this picture was taken she fell asleep and has not woke up since.And I was literally five minutes from posting a Sam drabble.
Looks like I’ll be waiting until she wakes up.
If anyone ever feels bad about not writing a lot of words for a fanfic chapter or a book chapter, I'll let you all know that a few years ago I started a smut one-shot that is currently 13 pages long, over 8k words, and it's still unfinished. The two characters weren't even fully naked yet, and they kept doing foreplay.
Out of my entire life of being a creative, the worst kind of person I would let read my work wasn't the person who called themself an editor when in the end they told me to stick to drawing (fuck you to this day, bitch), but the teachers that kept asking questions about things that would happen later in the story.
Like, it's chapter 1 Mrs. Grundy. I'm not going to instantly tell you why my character acts a certain way around her love interest. I'm trying to figure that out too.

I'd laugh too, because nobody knows what that tip was ever going to reveal since we most likely forgot what that spontaneous burst of magic told us to note down.
