This my paradise,

Where you kiss and hug me every night.

You are my lullaby,

That takes the stress and let me sleep on your shoulder.

We struggle, you and me,

To keep away our hands, hips and lips.

I want you, more than anything,

And you want me, only asking for one thing.

Your words, actions and expressions,

Make me explode from happiness and pleasure.

I say I wish you the the best and the better,

And you answer you will stand right here beside me.

The others may frown when they see us together,

Say it's insanity, a phase and not proper.

I don't listen, but I'm always afraid you do,

But then you touch me and say that an "us" needs two.

we could sit in a car for 2 hours and listen to music and talk about life, and lowkey that’s a date right there.

Dear you, I miss talking to you every single day just like we used to. I almost feel sorry for not telling you how much I love you; almost because I am afraid that had you known my deep feelings then you, too, would have left me. But look at you, you are gone nonetheless. Love you always, me ~ I miss you (letter 1)

Dear you,

I finally knocked you today after 8 days of utter silence from both the ends, not that you noticed. 8 days seemed a lot. I had to talk to you. And so I knocked about a writing that felt too familiar. You said you have never seen it before. I thought you did. Anyway nvm. That’s all you do. You never mind.

Love you always, me

~ I miss you (letter 2)

Dear you,

I thought I wouldn’t write this but here goes. I didn’t want to admit it and so I didn’t write about this in my last letter to you. But I have to admit it. I really do miss you a lot. It’s just that I have been talking about you in my dreams. I never see you but I mention your name repeatedly to the 3 people I talk to all the time. I missed you. I think in one of my dreams, I think, I, I kissed you. Just a kiss on your lips. I thought you should know.

Love you always, me

~ I miss you (letter 3)

Dear you, You were the only one who understood my silence, my screams, my insanity, my entity. Why did you have to leave too? Love you always, me ~ I miss you (letter 4)

Happy Mother's Day Mom!

how did it all change? how did it become so complicated? we live under the same roof and we fight constantly. we keep going at it, a never ending feud. u know i hated u; i think a part of me still does. it's just that our situations are so complicated now. i feel confused and you sure don't make it any easier for me. you constantly keep undermining me and pinning me onto the wall and blaming me. I've tried. oh how hard I've tried but there is no way to untangle so many year's rift all thrown together into this thing we call a relationship. do i wish that it was non existent? of course i do. i wish it every single day. i wish our relationship wasn't as broken and messy as it is now. i wish i could openly hug u and kiss you and say you how much i love you. but here's the thing. i do not love you. i do not know what i feel towards you. years of conflict and hate muddled my senses. it's like my brain tells me that i am programmed to love you but there's this glitch which makes it hard to feel that certain feeling and since i can't really over ride my biological programming, i can't hate you either. i most surely do not nothing you to be honest on a certain level. we fight and throw tantrums and you accuse me of things i haven't done and at the end of the day we still talk about stuff. i admit that there will never come a day when i will openly admit to you how conflicted i am about how i feel about our relationship but i guess the only thing to do is admit that this dysfunctional thing is what we are. we are not going to get past it. we crossed that threshold a long time ago, some scars don't heal properly. but may be some scars were meant to be etched into my skin, into my heart and into my brain and some scars were meant to be etched into yours. Nonetheless, Happy Mother's Day mom.

August - Adam Stanheight X Reader

Adam Faulkner Stanheight was sitting on the couch, waiting for his significant other - that would be you - to come home. You had left to grab (your favorite dessert). It wasn’t a particularly special occasion, but you both had wanted something to sweeten up your lives a little bit. Adam smoked somberly, shaping his shallow thoughts into something much more understandable. But it was all for naught, seeing as he was still in the same place of emotion that he was in when he started this expedition.

Lazily, and listlessly, Adam rearranged himself on the couch. He knew you would be disapproving when you saw that the windows were closed, but he couldn’t bring himself to open them. He was way too tired for that. All he wanted to do was lay down. He tried to keep his eyes open, but eventually found himself falling asleep while also nearly choking to death on cigarette smoke.

He coughed and sputtered until his throat was sore, and then he twisted out his cigarette. That was enough today, but he was still left with an empty feeling; his satisfaction just wasn’t quite fulfilled, and he was tempted to take another one from the box. He used what self-control he had left, and managed not to. He told himself you would be very proud of him for that.

Adam had gotten up to fix himself some tea. He barely stood up when a wave of nausea consumed him. He sank back down onto the couch miserably. He didn’t feel great at all today. Maybe that was because he hadn’t eaten yet? It was one’o’clock and he woke up at ten. Why hadn’t he had breakfast yet? Oh that’s because he got in a conversation with you and then hadn’t wanted to leave. That was reasonable, right?

Adam got to his feet clumsily, and stumbled into the kitchen, where he tried to put together a sandwich. It worked, he guessed, and he sat down to eat his breakfast slash lunch.

What would that be called? He wondered. Brunch? It was getting hot in the apartment by the time he’d finished eating. The weather was hot outside during this august afternoon. Adam felt stable again, now that he’d eaten, but something was still off. He missed his partner, F/N L/N.

He popped open the windows to let out the smoke that was building inside.

Adam reluctantly started doing some tidying. His living quarters were always messy, and it irritated the hell out of you. He decided now would be a good time to clean it up.

But as he started to pick things up from the floor, the apartment door swung gently open. Adam let his belongings fall onto the coffee table once again, as he leapt up to greet you.

When he saw you his heart fluttered. Excitement and happiness rushed through him. He found new energy to be with you! “Y/N!” He exclaimed.

You came tripping into the room, carrying in your arms a large (favorite dessert.) Adam had never been so glad to see someone in his whole life. You plopped the dessert onto the counter, and twirled happily ‘round.

Adam watched you in satisfaction, his heart melting. He pulled you into a hug, pushing you right up against his chest, and allowing you to rest your head on his shoulders. He felt you giggle and it warmed him on the inside.

You beamed up at him, your eyes glowing in jubilation. “You missed me?”

Adam sighed. “You have no idea.”

You nuzzled Adam’s nose sweetly. “Want to try the dessert?”

Adam would have loved to, but you felt so good in his arms he hardly wanted to release you. “Sure.”

You detangled yourself from his grasp, and went over to the counter, getting ready to cut your dessert into slices.

Adam watched from afar, examining his significant other as they bent slightly over the counter. You had your butt your pointed out towards him and Adam took pleasure in studying it. You looked cute standing in that position. “Nice.” He told you frankly.

You were too intent on your task to even notice Adam’s comment. You simply straightened your back and glanced at him, a smile on your face. “Go grab some plates!”

Adam did as he was told, and then came up behind you. He wrapped an arm around your waist, and put two plates on the counter.

You shuffled closer to him, and Adam felt content to have you so close. You placed one slice of said dessert onto each of the plates, and then you started eating.

Adam had never tried this kind of dessert before he met you. But now it was a tradition to eat it together. He loved that.

The flavor was sweet and sugary, of course it was. It was your favorite dessert and that’s why Adam loved it, because it made him think of you.

You ate together in a peaceful silence until your plates were clean. Neither of you had even gone to the table to eat.

Adam rubbed your back with one hand. It was impossible to explain what he felt for you. He loved you so much, nothing would be able to express it. ‘I love you’ at this point was an understatement. But how else did one express their love to their significant other? Without words there would be no communication. This was the only way to tell you what he felt. He loved you, and that’s all there was. Love.

He turned you towards him, so that you were pressed against his chest once more. He put his chin on the top of your head. “I love you.”

A rush of adrenaline swarmed up you. You laced your hands with Adam. “No, I love YOU.”

Adam melted into you. You were so perfect! “Not nearly as much as I love you,” he murmured.

“You’re right,” you gave in disappointedly, but then shot back, “I love you MORE than that.”

You and Adam spun around the living room several times, and then you put on some classical music: slow and romantic, just right for the mood.

You both swayed to the rhythm, not really intending to be lazy, but not trying to be too energetic either.

Adam could feel your head on his shoulder, your hand in his hand, and an arm around his waist. Your body touching him was breathtaking. Adam was sure he would lose his mind from the close proximity.

“You’ve been smoking,” you uttered into the quietness. You were only concerned.

Adam stiffened. Would you care about that? “I’m sorry-” He started to say.

You interrupted him. “Don’t be sorry, Adam. You’re always sorry. Not everything’s your fault. What happened?”

“I got anxious about you,” Adam halfheartedly confessed.

You patted his head reassuringly. “Well, you shouldn’t have.”

“But I did.”

You kissed him on the cheek. “Alright then. It’s okay. How was the smoke?”

“Bad,” Adam grumbled. “I nearly died from it instead of trying to enjoy it.”

You smirked. “I’m glad you didn’t though. You know what would happen if you did?”

“No.”

You bent your eyebrows down and pouted your lower lip sadly. “I WOULD BE SAD!” You wailed.

Adam felt his heart skip a beat. “Oh no…” he mustered. “I don’t want that.”

“Nor do I,” you answered smartly. “But lucky for you, you don’t have to try very hard. You being around is all I need!”

Adam bit his bottom lip shyly. He could feel your words brush up his neck. Your words were just so warming and good to hear, he couldn’t get enough. He kissed you at that moment, lifting you off the floor and bringing you up to sit on his hips. You put your legs around his waist, and your arms around his neck.

Adam loved every moment of it. He loved feeling your skin on his skin, your mouth on his mouth, your body against his body, and your heat keeping him warm.

His heart was pounding, his stomach was churning, and adrenaline was pulsing through his veins. He broke away to give you some kisses down your jaws; they were quick and short.

You hummed out in satisfaction, and tilted your head back. Adam took advantage of this, and started kissing down your neck. He made sure to get your shoulders and collarbones.

“Adam…” you whispered at last, cupping his cheeks in your hands and lifting his head up. He looked at you like a lost puppy and it melted your heart. “You sweet thing.”

Adam let you down and you sighed out happily. “You’re cute,” Adam said cheesily.

You shrugged. “How else would you want me?”

“Laying on the bed would be a nice alternative, too,” Adam replied cleverly.

You gagged and looked away embarrassedly. “Oh yeah?”

“Definitely,” Adam assured you.

Adam sat down on the couch, and you sat next to him. You pulled him onto your lap, and started a long, enticing, snuggle session, where both of you spent the rest of the evening flirting, teasing, kissing, and of course expressing love to one another only in ways that words could never communicate.

Snow White Kisses - Adam Stanheight / Reader

A/N Been busy, but here’s a short story I managed to write up. Been in a writer's block as well, but please enjoy! Sorry for spelling/grammar mistakes, posting late.

Bright, sparkling, lights gave the room a silver tint. The table was a solid chestnut brown, and the walls and ceiling were creamy. There was only a soft, black, carpet for the flooring. Golden stars were plastered to the walls, as well as red and purple hearts. You leaned way back in the recliner, as the sun sprinkled down on your face. You sat next to the large window, overlooking the beach. The water was smooth today, and not many people were clustered down there. You would have been down there yourself if it wasn’t so cold. The sun soothed your spirits and warmed your skin, making you feel giddy and a little bit lightheaded. You were glad for the distraction.

Adam Faulkner Stanheight would have most definitely been snuggling with you, but he had gone to walk the dog. He’d be back in an hour. No, not even. Probably thirty minutes by now. You couldn’t wait for his return; you were lonely.

You rolled your head from side to side, taking in all the minor details that you hadn’t noticed before; you’d never been in a beach house before and you wanted to remember it. Long white curtains covered all the large, square, windows. They reached all the way to the floor elegantly, and flared out at the end. Paintings of sunsets and twilight scenery were spread throughout the building, covering every other wall majestically.

You felt a chill coming in through the window and stood up to close it, your thin blanket drifting from your fine shoulders, and settling around your feet, on the floor, prettily. You tripped delicately over the soft floor, your feet crossing the carpet swiftly.

Leaning into the misty cool air and allowing your vision to be engulfed by the white layer of snow, you stretched your arm out. It was slippery and chilly, it was almost like you could literally feel the silkworm cocoons. The silk touched your arm gracefully, and made your skin cold. You would have enjoyed the feeling of such silks better if it wasn’t so freezing outside.

In a haze of white, you reached for the window frame, and pulled your hand back again. Softness fell on your skin, and passed through your fingers gently, like wavy fiber. Some white got onto the floor, and you stepped back to examine the snow that was littering half of your living room.

You turned at the sound of a quiet click coming from the front door. Your boyfriend swept into the room swiftly, and the dog followed quickly. She ran up to you and tipped her head lovingly. You rubbed her head and rustled her ears, and then looked up at Adam.

Adam appeared exhausted and out of breath. He let out a long sigh and flopped onto the couch. Leaning back, Adam raised his arms up and rested his head on them. “God,” he mumbled. “The rain is coming down hard.”

You looked at him empathetically. “Did you get drenched?”

“Fortunately not for me,” Adam cast a disapproving glance at the dog. “I can’t say the same for Starshine.” He shuddered obviously.

Starshine gave a loud bark, as if she could understand, and proceeded to chase herself ‘round and ‘round.

The both of you ignored your dog and leaned in close to each other. “How was the walk?” You asked him softly.

Adam smiled happily. “Great! Really, even though it was raining. How was your morning?”

You liked the feeling of your boyfriend in your arms. You huddled closer to Adam. “Extraordinary. But not nearly ‘perfect’. You know what would make it better?”

Adam shook his head, nuzzling your cheek.

“You,” you whispered smoothly.

Adam scoffed at your words. “Oh please…” He was blushing brightly.

You dropped your mouth to his mouth. Your lips were nearly touching but not touching yet. “It’s true, baby. Nothing you can say will change it. You're the light of my life. That one piece of diamond among all the stones. I love you.”

Your breath passed over his lips lightly, making him even more crazy for you. You felt him put his hands up your shirt. You were okay with this, you loved the feeling of his soft skin on you.

“You happy?” You asked him.

“Mmhmm.” He nodded slowly, rubbing his nose up and down your cheek.

You smiled in satisfaction. Seeing Adam go all woozy for you was attractive. It made you feel powerful. It gave you energy.

You put one hand on his chest, and with the other hand you combed your fingers through his hair. Slowly, you pushed closer, kissing him neatly on the lips. It lasted for a moment, and then you pulled away again.

Adam didn’t look pleased. You only cupped his cheeks with both hands, and smiled at him proudly. “My baby,” you murmured.

Adam’s annoyance seemed to dissipate. He groaned a little desperately. “You make me feel so many things!”

You lowered your head down again, this time kissing him harder. You rubbed circles on his cheeks with your thumbs. You could feel Adam’s hands rising up your body.

Electricity pulsed between your mouths, making them tingle slightly. You couldn’t get enough of him!

Adam’s palms skimmed your belly. You took his lower lip in your mouth, and dropped your hands to his waist. You traced them down his thighs. Adam rocked his hips onto you.

You brought your hands up, smirking at him sympathetically. “Someone’s excited.” You observed seductively.

Faulkner let out a sigh. “I can be patient,” he promised insecurely.

You raised a skeptical eyebrow. “Let’s see. I think you’ve been too good for me to be patient.”

You kissed him down the neck, leaving soft traces of you on his skin. Your lips were like cotton candy, soft and sweet. Elegant in movement and graceful in technique. You were tangled up in each other’s hot passion.

You felt your boyfriend break away, gasping and heaving. He had on a look of bliss. You watched him blankly, though your thoughts were running wild and your emotions longed for more.

“Y/N,” Adam wheezed in between breaths. “You mean so much to me…”

You opened your mouth to reply when the sun came out from behind a cloud. It’s golden rays fell on to you, and warmed you all up.

You turned to look out the window, and sighed. “Mmmh, baby. The world is a scary place. I’m glad I’m getting to spend my life in such a safe place; with you.” You put your head on his shoulder. “I love you.”

Adam hugged you back tightly, squeezing all the air out of your lungs, resting his forehead on your collarbones, still breathing heavily, and making the atmosphere hot. “I love you, too,” he hummed out contentedly.

Perfectly.

Longingly.

Nothing was better than this.

Partners In Crime - Adam Stanheight / Reader

A/N Taylor swift inspired this one. The song was I Know Places. Also, I’m posting a little early ‘cause I finished this story sooner than I thought. Enjoy!

.

It was cold in the bedroom again. The landlord had turned off the heating on his way out… like usual. You had always wondered why it was that the heat panel and the lights panel were right next to each other in the main office. It seemed that everyone mixed them up all the time. It was a stupid design.

The night was exceptionally cold for a February midnight, but unlike previous nights, the duo was actually asleep in bed. Your bodies were pressing up on each other artistically, much in a way that was comfortable for both of you: Your backs were touching, and your feet were tangled together. The body heat kept out the outside chill.

The sky was pitch black, blacker than the blackest darkness. Stars weren’t even present in it, it was just endless space beyond. The moon was a bright, white, crooked crystalline within it’s dark environment, casting silver streams onto the earth below. It was quiet.

As if it wasn’t enough, the quietness had to be broken by some external commotion. In the short, silent, moments that remained before the upcoming banging upon your apartment door, was pleasant and ever so welcoming. In an explosion of fear almost as sharp and tangy as lightning, you were catapulted upright into wakefulness, your skin and mind burning from the flames and scattering into a million pieces from the shock.

Gasping and heaving, you realized the pounding on the door, as well as the sirens under the window. Your heart lurched panickedly, and you flew across the bed, grabbing hold of your boyfriend’s shoulders and shaking them brutally. “Adam!” Your voice was raised in tension. “Adam, Adam, wake up!”

You let out of the bed, snatching the beige bag from the bedside table, and throwing things into it clumsily, all the while screaming Adam’s name.

Your partner woke up in alarm, rolling over to gaze at you. It was then that he heard the police sirens. He leapt out of the bed. “What’s going on?” Adam demanded.

“Hell if I know. They’ve found us, that’s for sure!”

“H-How? I thought we left?”

You turned to look at Adam in the half light coming in through the window, fearful of what was to come next. “Well… obviously it didn’t work. Come on, baby, we have to get out of here.”

Adam started pulling on clothes while you continued throwing things into the large bag. You started moving faster and faster with every passing heartbeat. Your movements were like the wind. Your hands brushed over everything so delicately that you barely felt them, and then discarded them into the beige bag in your other hand.

At some point, you felt something cool and thin hit you in the face, halting you in your task. You pulled it back down and looked into your hand. It was your (favorite color) T-shirt. Adam was staring back at you imploringly. “Get ready! I’ll grab the money.” He took the bag from you and started reaching under the bed. You gazed after him in surprise, holding the T-shirt in your hand. He gestured to you. “What are you doing?”

Hurriedly, you slung the shirt over your head, and started to fish for your bottoms in the pile of junk that littered the floor. You had no time to find your undergarments, but you had collected some a few moments before.

You slipped on your shoes. “Hey! Adam!” You called across the room.

“Excuse Me? Will you please open the door?” A deep voice came from outside the door. You didn’t even look in its direction. Adam raised his head above the bed rim and you chucked his tennis shoes at him. He ducked instinctively as they sailed over his head and landed behind him. You bolted for the windows, and thrust them open with both hands. The old, splintered, shutters creaked as they hazardously extended outward. You stuck your head out the window and looked down. The police cars were surrounding the whole place, but to the right, in the alley, was a dark corridor that led in the opposite direction. There were some police patrolling that area, but you and Adam could get past them. You’d done it before.

You stepped out onto the fire escape, as the door was bashed to the floor. You stared in horror at the action. Adam came rounding the corner and sidestepped, hugging the wall, to the window. He tossed you the bag, which was tied at the top. It soared through the air. In slow motion, it cascaded through the window and over your head. You saw it falling to the pavement. Adam was still making his way, tediously, to the exit. You lunged off the platform, holding out your arm. Your fingers brushed the straps of the bag desperately. To your relief the bag hung there, and swayed back and forth terrifyingly.

Pulling your arm back, you gazed up at Adam, who was standing by the window now. He was watching you worriedly, protectively. He ducked through the window, as the police started to file into the room. They were shouting and shooting, but the two of you were used to all of this; you knew how to survive.

Adam jumped after you, the platform shaking slightly from the pressure. You shivered and started down the staircase, clutching the bag to your chest. Your heart was pounding in your ears, your chest and stomach were weak with fear, but you kept your head up high. Lips quivering, nerves screaming, you reached your hand back to Adam. “Come on! Baby, I know places we won’t be found!”

“You said that last time…” Adam muttered, taking your hand.

“I did. But we didn’t follow through with the plan because you said you wanted to come here first. Now we see how that worked.” Adam mumbled something grudgingly, and then tried to take the lead. You pulled him back. “Trust me.”

Adam pressed against you. “Where do you have in mind?”

You made a run for the street, dragging Adam behind you. There was shooting following after you, but you dove for nearby cover. “Stay close to me, okay? And they’ll be chasing their tails trying to track us down.”

Adam huffed as he tried to keep up with you. Behind the police car that kept you from the firing guns aimed at you, you waited for the right time to make a break for it. There was a pause in the gunshots, and you went streaking across the sidewalk. The other buildings lining the street put blockades in between you and the police.

The sidewalk stretched out into the darkness, and the pavement was hurting your feet. Your legs and arms were sore from running, and your sides were suffering from tearing pain. You huffed and groaned, but didn’t let up. Getting out of there was your first priority.

Your hand kept slipping in and out of Adam’s hand. You tried to keep a tight grip, but the sweat and sloppy running made it difficult. You felt Adam’s fingertips in your palms, then on your wrist, your arm, then your wrist again, back to your palm and into your fingers, back again. Over and over.

Panting, you glanced over your shoulder. Adam was in no better shape than you were. His cheeks were red, his eyes were wide and scared, and his breath was coming fast. At the end of the sidewalk was an intersection. You could get there, it was a long walk, but you could do it. You’d been through worse, the only trouble was you had the police on your trail.

Adam pulled you back, whispering your name over and over into your ear. “Can we… slow down? I think we’ve gotten away from them for now.” You slowed your pace, and allowed Adam to pin you to his chest. You walked like this for a long time.

The passing of time was a strange thing. It could be good only when it was supposed to be, but it was in times like these when it could be a very bad thing. It was like a song on repeat, only the chorus was never the same. Sometimes it would be happy, sometimes it would be sad, other times it would be enjoyable, but most of the time - at least in the case for this couple - it was majorly intense. Neither of you could do anything except run for your life. It was terrible sometimes, but every time it was still excitable.

You started running again when the sound of sirens came from ahead of you. There was a place up in Canada that you knew of. A small hidden town that no one knew of, Anozan Glapetria. It was somewhere up in Winterhyde, just along the Winterhyde river. The tiny town was concealed by tall, gorgeous trees, and was located at the bottom of Anozan valley. You had a family friend down there that you hadn’t seen in a very long time. You were excited to see them again.

You and Adam hunkered down in the ditch, drenching your clothes in wetness. A police car sped past you. Three of them, actually. You both stared wide-eyed at the close cars that were trying to kill you. You didn’t say a word to each other until the noise died down, and then you got back to your feet and started walking.

Adam came up to walk beside you. “So, what’s your plan? Where’re we headed?” He asked. You and him were already back at full health, almost like you hadn’t been running for hours.

“Well, let’s see. I think we should go to Anozan, Canada. No one will find us ever again. I guarantee it. I know someone who lives there. He will definitely help us with our situation.”

Adam gawped at you in shock. “ ‘Canada’!? You’ve gotta be joking, how the hell are we gonna get there?”

You raised the bag up, and shook it back and forth. “We got the money for it, baby. All we gotta do is order the tickets.”

“How? We can’t pass the borders.”

“Like we do every time. Aliases, and disguises. Come on, how did we get INTO America in the first place?”

Adam smiled, and sighed happily. “I love you.”

“Now, they’ll be looking for us in Canada, too, though,” you said thoughtfully.

“Right. How are we gonna get past that?”

You winked at Adam proudly. “Well, remember that friend I mentioned earlier?” You took out your phone - and it was your’s, truly. You’d paid for it fair and square, just like you did Adam’s. It was an attempt to cover your tracks a long time ago. “I’ll call him up right now and make the plans. We’ll sneak in and out of the airports, and my friend will pick us up. He’ll be there before we arrive, so that we don’t have to spend time waiting.”

Adam put his chin on your head. “I love you, baby,” he murmured longingly. “Just so much.”

“And I love you, too, Adam. Always remember, I know places we can hide! Don’t be scared.”

Adam sighed. “You’ve got this under control, don’t you?”

You shrugged. “Grab my hand and don’t EVER drop it.” You put your hand in his. Adam sighed into your hair, and you walked on in silence.

The sun was peeking over the mountains by the time you reached the intersection. You had left behind the police long ago, but you knew that your names weren’t cleared; probably never would be. In the sky were pink and yellow streaks, blending into the light blue atmosphere, making you feel warm. Finally the temperature was starting to heat up, and you could relax now. Adam and you had a life together. You’d done some bad things in your life, but you didn’t care. All you wanted was to live with Adam. BE with Adam. LOVE Adam. Your life was about to get really good when you made it to Canada. And it would be the best thing of your life.

Anything For You - Adam Stanheight / Reader

A/N This one's inspired by Disturbed's song You're Mine. (Lol i need new creativity...)

.

You looked at yourself in the mirror. Your clothes were portrayed neatly on your body, your hair was tied back nicely and your shoes fit closely on your feet. You grumbled at yourself in disgust. You pulled a bag from your closet and looked at it with your formal outfit. It was square and blocky, it didn’t look good with your outfit but it was the only one you had. It was five thirty, you were supposed to be meeting with Adam Stanheight in a half hour, but for some reason you were reluctant instead of excited.

You’d been on two dates with him already, both of which had been exceptional, however at this point in time you were having anxiety and doubts. You wondered if Adam would think you were pretty enough. Smart enough. Good enough. He had expressed multiple times that he DID think you were pretty, and smart, and good enough. You were still worried about it though.

You took down your hair, and readjusted it. You tied it, and untied it. Tied it, untied it. This went on for several minutes until you decided not to bother at all. You left it how it was before. Then you grabbed your bag and walked out the door.

Adam Faulkner was waiting for you by the door when you arrived. He smiled at you warmly and offered out his arm. “Hello, beautiful.”

You slunk in next to him, and bashfully looked around the yard, wondering where your nosy neighbors were at that exact moment. You felt very self conscious. “H-Hi… Where are we… going?”

Adam was patient with you. He didn’t try to rush you into anything. “Well, I was thinking about going out to dinner. Is there anywhere you want to go specifically?”

You kept your gaze on the ground. “N-No… Not really.”

“No? Okay.” He gestured to the car. “Well, let me take you out anyway.”

You got into the passenger’s seat awkwardly, and folded your hands in your lap repeatedly. Adam sat down next to you confidently. He seemed to know exactly where he was going. You hummed a song to yourself quietly, not wanting to interrupt the silence.

“How’s your day been?” Adam asked.

You thought about his question for a few minutes. “Lonely,” you said at last. “I don’t really know. I don’t feel that great today.”

Adam shortly pulled to a stop in a grassy lot. A tiny garden was just up ahead, you knew because you’d been there before. It was shrouded by trees and vines, and brush. Various flowers were in the middle of the small clearing, making a cute combination of pinks, reds, oranges, and purples. Azaleas, roses, marigolds, and catmint made up the arrangement. It smelled wonderful.

You looked over at Adam, your fine clothes feeling thin, as though they weren’t really there. Your bottom lip trembled, and your face flushed white. You felt dizzy. “Wh-Wh-What are we doing here?”

Adam took your hand and helped you out of the car. He took you into the garden hastily. You tripped after him, puzzled. What had led Adam to bring you here? Weren’t you getting dinner? “I just want you to relax, Y/N. Tonight is about you.”

“What?” You mumbled. “But… It’s OUR date…”

“Well,” Adam shrugged. “Maybe it’s FOR both of us, but it’s ABOUT you. Come on, I’m trying to cheer you up. You’ve looked sad for a couple days now.”

You hung your head. “I… don’t understand. Weren’t we going out to eat?”

“If that’s what you want. It didn’t seem to appeal much to you. But anyway, I came here to make you feel better.” He brought his hand up to your cheek. “I love you.”

You looked away, feeling awkward. How could you possibly be loved by someone? “Uh…”

Adam pushed you onto the grass. You feel on your butt roughly. “What?”

Adam sat next to you. “I love you…” He hummed out musically.

You kept your gaze on the ground and didn’t say anything. Adam leaned down so that he was laying on his back, staring at the sky, with his arms under his head. “I love it here,” he told you. “It’s so nice and comforting.”

You felt your heart flutter a little bit. What was that feeling? Why did it… tickle so much? “Yeah. It’s gorgeous,” you agreed halfheartedly. Though you were hesitant, it was still your opinion. You really DID like it here.

But something was unnatural. Liveliness was stirring inside you. But… you never felt alive, that wasn’t something that happened to you usually.

Laying down on your stomach, you muttered, “Why do you love me?”

You felt Adam shift behind you. He sat up and dropped his arm around your shoulders. You sighed, and relaxed under him. You felt… good for the first time in a long time. “Because, you’re the most special person in my life, Y/N. You make me feel things so unexplainable… it's unreal. I enjoy our time together. I enjoy how you make me laugh. You’re brilliant, Y/N, and I hope you realize that.”

You sighed, and rolled over so that you were facing him. Adam looked down at you peacefully. You felt warmth spread through your whole body, and you gazed into his face warily. “Adam…” You squeaked desperately. “You know… you mean a lot to me, as well. It’s been such a long time since I felt something so good. After everything that’s happened lately… it’s been hard for me to be strong. But… You know everything that I need. I care for you so much.”

Adam smiled, and tilted his head to the side. “Don’t worry. I’ll be here for you whenever you need it. I want you to be happy. And I’m never going to leave you. Ever.”

You wrapped your arms around Adam’s neck, and he lowered himself on top of you. “You’re never, EVER, gonna leave me?” You whispered quietly into his ear. “But what if… What if you CAN’T be there?”

Adam huffed. His warm breath passed down your neck. “ ‘Can’t’?” He repeated, amused. “What do you think I’m going to be doing? I’ve made YOU my first priority.”

You shivered under him, and almost started crying. Adam’s words made you feel so good, and you hugged him closer. “I love you.”

Adam nuzzled your cheek. “I love you, too.” He pressed a kiss to your sensitive collar bones, and you moaned out.

What was this? Why did you actually feel… okay? It was a slow rising in your stomach and chest that made you feel safe. You looked into Adam’s eyes. All that you ever needed was right there in front of you. How had it taken you so long to realize? There was a numbness in your mind that you hadn’t felt in a very long time; it was like you were finally letting go of your insecurities.

You had never realized that one could do that. You always thought that you were destined to be alone and depressed all the time. You were surprised that you could actually let go of your fears and betrayals and just live life. It was Adam that did that to you. Without him, you would still be a hermit inside your labyrinth of walls. You’d never be able to get out again. But something was stirring deep within you. Your mindset was changing ever so slightly. If only you could feel that you deserved the love you were receiving.

Adam’s lips had gone from your neck to your chin during your musing. You’d barely even felt them, but now that they were creeping up on your lips you were drawn to them once more.

Sparkling waves of bliss coated your mouth. “I get it now,” you mumbled around his lips. “I’m better when I am with you, you deliver me from the pain in my life. Easy now to recognize, all the misery I have been through, it was beating me to submission ‘till the day you arrived.”

Adam pulled back for a moment and looked at you. “Those are some powerful words, Y/N.”

“All true. I’ve realized that the feelings you make me feel are positive. Strength I had lost was revived, and building inside and we both know why. ‘Cause you’re mine.”

“Romantic,” Adam whispered wryly.

“Don’t go,” you whimpered sadly. “Please. I don’t like being alone.”

Adam rubbed his thumb across your cheek. “We can’t stay here forever.”

You let out a sob. “Please…”

Stanheight sighed. “I was hoping to drop by a client’s house tomorrow.”

“Can I come with you?” You asked immediately.

Adam gazed at you in amusement. “When I said ‘leave’ I didn’t mean it physically.”

“Well, I need you physically with me,” you groaned.

“Alright,” Adam agreed. “You can come.”

“Does that mean you’re going to stay with me?”

“I suppose I don’t have a choice now, do I?”

“Being with you makes me feel good,” you spluttered self consciously. You could feel heat crawling up your cheeks like you were a jungle gym. It made you feel vulnerable.

“How can I say ‘no’ to that? Of course I’ll stay with you.”

You smiled at him shyly. “Thank you. I’m sorry for the inconvenience, but I just really need this right now.”

“You’ve nothing to be sorry for. I understand that we all have times when we feel really low. And that’s why I’m here: to lift you up again.”

You nodded. “Alright.”

Faulkner kissed you again, blurring reality and fantasy together. You hardly had time to get a breath before you were making-out. His warm lips on yours, his soft hands under your shirt, his scent in your nose. It made you dizzy, and you closed your eyes, trying to get more of him, trying to feel more of him. All your mind could concentrate on was the persistence of his mouth. How it made you feel, how it knew what it was doing. It lulled you and hyped you up at the same time.

God, this was wonderful.

Finally after a long time, you were pulling away. It could have easily been as long as a half hour, but to you it felt like mere seconds. You were stunned and your lips felt like they were buzzing slightly. You blinked. “Woah…” you whispered.

Adam picked you up off the ground, and carried you back to the car. “Y/N, I need you to understand. I’m here to make you whole again.” He dumped you into the passenger’s seat. “To help you rediscover, and resurrect someone who’d died.”

“Wow,” you drawled slowly. “That’s a lot.”

“I’d do anything for you.”

“This is why I need you.”

Adam took the wheel and gave you a wink. “I’m here for you always.”

You sank back into the chair, and fastened your seatbelt. Adam took you home, though he didn’t plan on leaving you all alone tonight. Obviously, you needed some self care and affection. He didn’t want you to suffer this by yourself. He loved you so much, and he wanted you to see that just as he did. You were perfect, no matter what you thought or said about yourself. And he would get you to see it, too. One day.

Right now though, unfortunately, was not the day. Some work would need to be put into this, but he believed in you, even if nobody else did. To him, you were the most important thing in his life, seeing you so down made him feel unhappy as well. But the future was clear and bright to him, even though it wasn’t for you. Easily, Adam could already see all the great things that you and him were going to accomplish together.

All it took was just a little bit of faith…

And you would learn that, too.

Sexual Tension - Adam Stanheight / Reader

18+ HEAVY FLUFF

A/N This story is slightly more detailed in writing. I'm gonna put a warning just in case. Idk. Anyway, please enjoy the new story!

18+

Rainy days were the worst days, but sometimes they could be the best, too. Mostly, they were terrible and cold and wet and filthy, but today was an exception. You sat in front of the big cozy fireplace that was located at the center of the cafe. This place was special because you’d met Adam Faulkner Stanheight here for the very first time. It felt like such a long time ago now, but it had only been six months. You’d hit it off pretty well with the man, in fact it had become a weekly activity to meet at this place, after work, on Friday. Your time spent with Adam took your mind off the crappy weather outside. You loved that.

Stanheight came bouncing in through the glass, double doors, shaking his umbrella. He looked mostly dry… He’d warm up in no time standing by the fire. But you did feel bad for him, seeing as he had to walk most of the way in the rain. That was his choice, though. He didn’t want to take the bus, he preferred walking.

Adam saw you eyeing him from across the room. He folded his umbrella and struck a pose. You covered your mouth daintily with your hand, smiling a little bit in amusement. He crossed over to you and sat in front of the fire. “How’re you, lovely?” He winked.

You giggled, feeling shy and fuzzy at the same time. “I’m good. How are you, Adam?”

“Swell,” He said smugly. “But I’m much better when I’m with you.”

You blushed brightly, and glanced away from his eyes. You got all fidgety when Adam was around. “That’s so nice of you.”

“Is it?” Adam asked, as he leaned back against the couch, and looked at you. He gestured you over with his hand. “Come here, darling. What are you doing by yourself?”

You crawled over him and laid down with your head in his lap. You felt warm and content. Your heart was like a panicked butterfly in a cage, slamming its wings painfully into the bars, trying to burst free. It made you dizzy, but you held on to sanity for just a little longer. You breathed steadily, keeping your nerves calm, forcing yourself not to dive out of the pressuring moment. You felt good. “You’re so warm, Adam,” you said softly.

Adam looked down at you lovingly, a small smile on his lips. “So are you. You’ve been sitting by the fire for a while, haven’t you?”

You nodded, your hair poofing itself around your head at the motion. Adam stroked his fingers through your hair compassionately. “Mmh, you’re pretty, do you know that?”

Surprised, you met his gaze. From this angle the overhead light cast a shadow on Adam’s face. For him, the overhead light cast a glow to your face. Shadows surrounded your face, corrupting your hair and neck. “Thank you. You’re too.”

“Not nearly as good looking as you.”

You sat up finally, your throat feeling dry. “Hey… Um… I’m going to get something to drink. You want something?”

Adam considered you for a short minute, then said, “I guess I could use a glass of water; I haven’t had anything to drink since this morning. But just so you know, there’s something else I’d rather have in my mouth right now.”

“W-What would that be?” You asked dumbly, you wanted to make sure you understood correctly. Adam only tilted his head up at you in reply, but said nothing else. “I’ll just get you that water…” you decided nervously.

Adam watched you leave while a wry smile crept up on his face. He’d just take this moment to check you out. Your body was stunning.

Coming up to the counter, you ordered two waters. Now that you weren’t so close to your love interest, you were able to think clearly again. The brain fog was lifting like a cloud after a thunderstorm. Sun was shining through now, making it easier to see.

“Y/N! Y/N! Will you please move forward? You’re blocking the line!”

You shook yourself out of your trance, and looked around frantically. The barista was glaring at you over his glasses. You hurried out of the way to grab your orders, apologizing repeatedly. You felt awkward now. You headed back towards Adam hesitantly. While you did enjoy spending time with him, it took up a lot of your social battery and made it difficult to keep up. But… in all honesty, you needed this. Adam made you feel an assortment of good things, you didn’t really want to leave yet.

You placed one of the glasses down on the end table for Adam, and then you started to gulp the water from your own glass. The coolness trickled down your throat and helped you to regain yourself. You set the glass down hard on the table, half of the water gone from your glass already.

Adam raised his eyebrows, seemingly impressed. “Better?” He inquired.

“Yeah…” you admitted self-consciously.

“I believe it,” Adam murmured in awe, and then he stood up. He cupped your cheeks suddenly with both hands, making you squirm. He pressed his body against yours. “Remember when I said you were pretty?” He lowered his head to yours slowly.

You tilted your head to the side. “Y-Yeah?” Your voice wavered a little. The close proximity made your heart stutter. Your breath sounded too loud in your head.

“Well, I think I was wrong…” He said casually. His lips were almost touching yours now. “You’re gorgeous.”

You squealed audibly. It was an accident, but Adam’s words made you woozy. So much so in fact that you couldn’t hide it. “Oh wow…” You breathed out. “W-What do I even say t-to that?”

“You don’t have to say anything, darling.” His hands trailed down your neck so lightly it left tingles on your skin. They went past your collarbones, past your chest and over your diaphragm. You were forced to lean into him because your back and knees felt weak. He had never done anything like THIS before. What was he doing? Where was this leading to? Somehow you wanted more though. Lucky for you, this wasn’t about to be ending soon.

“Woah? You like that?” He whispered into your ear.

You shivered against him. “Oh yeah.”

“Nice.” Adam began to bring his hands back up, only this time he went under your shirt. His hands skimmed your stomach and some of your more sensitive parts as well. You buried your face into his shoulder, letting out a couple of moans. His shirt was soft and silky on your face.

“Which do you prefer?” He asked, sliding his hands back out. Your skin felt cold and empty where he had been touching you. You pulled back, trying to bring yourself back to the present. “Hands under or over?” Adam lifted your chin up with his pointer finger. You gazed at him like a lost puppy.

At your silence, Adam dropped his head down and pressed his lips to yours. You were stunned. It was the most beautiful thing you’d ever experienced in your entire life. It was like flying. It felt like wind in your mind, easing you, gratifying you, wooing you.

And damn, did Adam Faulkner know what he was doing. It was impossible something so good could exist. The way he bit your lip. The way he let his mouth wander. The way he kept pushing harder on your lips. It was dizzying.

Adam sank down on the couch again, keeping his mouth on yours. He pulled you after him. You straddled him and wrapped your arms around his neck. Adam let his hands explore the lower half of your body. You shuttered at the teasing sensations.

You were a mess by the time Adam withdrew. You gasped into his mouth desperately, your mind racing. You could hardly think! All you were aware of were the trembling in your lips and the stress building in your body.

Holy shit! Call that sexual tension!

You leaned against Adam, trying to get in some relaxation because you were worn out. It amazed you how something so idle could make you feel so out of energy. But damn it was definitely worth it. Adam pinned you against his chest, murmuring quietly in your ear. “That was fun… Maybe we should do it more?”

You hadn’t realized till now just how much you TRULY liked this man. You nodded your head slowly, breathing in Adam’s scent. “Perhaps,” you whispered.

“ ‘Perhaps’? Why be so vague? Do you or don’t you want me?”

“I do!” You exclaimed. “I never knew I could feel so many things for one person.”

“Welcome to the club,” Adam replied heartwarmingly.

You looked up at him once you got your strength again. His brown eyes were so perfect. It was like they glowed in the dimness. They shone with fondness as he gazed down at you. Something inside your heart felt whole. You didn’t quite know how to explain it… Or did you?

That feeling of wholeness, it was like you had been without it for a long time. Like a dusty glass being taken down from the shelf after a long hibernation. For once, it was being filled again with something warm and enjoyable… something called LOVE…

You stared into each other’s eyes for a few minutes, until you remembered your dog/cat at home. Immediately you scanned the room for some kind of clock. There, above the menu! Eight fifteen P.M.

You fumbled in your pockets for your phone, when Adam put his hands on yours. “Are you okay?”

You kept your gaze on your lap, for the fear of being captivated by him once again. “Oh, yes. I’m alright. I just remembered that I have to feed my pet! Sometimes they like to go outside, but if they do, then I always go with them.”

“We stayed longer, didn’t we?” Adam asked you.

“Y-Yeah…” You murmured. “Quite. But I enjoyed it!”

So did I.”

“Want to meet up again next week?”

“Why even ask at this point?” Adam wondered casually. “We both know we’re going to be coming back here next week.”

You blushed. “Yeah. You’re right…”

Adam clasped your hands in his. His palms were soft and smooth. He leaned his head in towards yours again. In a lustful bliss, Adam began kissing you again. His hands skimmed up your body.

We’re kissing again! The thought ran through your mind so fast you could barely comprehend it. Oh my god, what do I do? I can’t get caught up but… It’s so good!

Adam pulled away slightly so you could get some air. Only one gasp, then his lips were at it again. Time was ticking away, and you could practically hear it.

Eight eighteen.

More kissing and grabbing.

Eight nineteen.

Air.

Eight twenty.

Kissing.

Eight twenty one.

Hands in hair.

Eight twenty two.

Eight twenty three.

Eight twenty four.

Eight twenty five.

And then… finally, it was eight thirty.

After another, impassioned kissing session, you broke away at last. Your head was foggy and hot. You stumbled back. Swallowing nervously, you said, “I’d say that’s a goodbye kiss, for sure.”

“It doesn’t have to be…” Adam murmured in your ear.

You shivered. “What do you have in mind?”

“We know each other well enough. Would you let me stay the night?”

You stared up at him in awe. “S-Stay with me?”

“Why not? You said you have to take care of your pets. So let’s go.”

You led Adam out of the cafe, suddenly realizing the… problem you had going on ‘downstairs’

Oh, shit… you thought to yourself miserably. What am I going to do about THAT!? Fuck, I don’t even have a place for Adam-

A sense of awareness came over you, and you looked back at Adam, as you sat down in the car. Stanheight was sitting next to you in the passenger’s seat. He had invited himself over not to stay the night… He wanted to FUCK you. Why the hell hadn’t you seen it from the beginning? Were you really that deceived?

You grit your teeth. How were you supposed to drive with THAT idea clouding your mind? Grunting, you turned the ignition and started on your way home. You were excited to show Adam your place, if you were being entirely honest. And maybe your ‘places’, too... if you know what I mean?

You wondered what Adam would do first when you got to your apartment. Would he let you feed the dog/cat first or was he going to bang you first? Which one was more important? Would he take you to the bedroom, or was the couch good enough? The more you thought about it, the more excited you became, and it took all your strength to NOT think about it at all. But you were a mess by then and you could barely wait any longer. Well, lucky for you, home wasn’t very far away.

And neither were tonight’s plans.
