The fanfic I'm writing but it's just the most 'Well we're dead' moment in all of Teyvat.
*Venti and Zhongli walking into Dawn Winery in search of Jean*
Suddenly a conversation comes into earshot.
Elzer: Adelinde you and I both know you shouldn't do that.
Adelinde: They need to reconcile somehow! It's not very loyal of you to just let them drift further apart! (She means no harm and don't you dare imply otherwise)
Elzer: I'd kill an Archon for the master! You served them both, I know that, but your duty is to this Winery and it's owner, NOT the Cavalry Captain.
Adelinde: You really think so?
Elzer: Addie, the captain can't come here. The master can't take another heartbreak, from any source, and it's our job to make sure he WON'T. No matter what we must do.
Adelinde, with a tone of finality: To the end of the earth.
Elzer, matching her tone: To the end of time.
Adelinde: To the end of the Archons.
Both, together: Be that end by chance or by our hand.
And yes I 110% accept the headcanon that Adelinde raised the boys more than Crepus did, because as much as Crepus cared about Kaeya and Diluc, he ran his buisness.
Also this is Zhongluc and/or Venluc depending on what you want to see it as, if that wasn't obvious.
addendum to my previous post + other stuff that doesn’t really make sense
In which Albedo teaches the twins the fuck word because of course this is how I introduce my weird nonsense AU fanfic ideas (that never get finished). This one also includes:
-Convoluted plot revolving around 1.) the traveler introducing them and then dipping out, which results in Diluc having a stupid crush on Zhongli, and 2.) Venti swiping a bottle of a special wine that Diluc’s dad made with him in mind, then giving it to Zhongli, who loves it and then proceeds to assign himself the role of pen pal
-Despite being an accidental chaotic wingman, Venti is a good friend
-Very sweet fluff and philosophical discussions, where Zhongli dumps several paragraphs’ worth of information and Diluc says at most two sentences at a time
-Their relationship is kept mostly secret but of course Kaeya figures it out
-Diluc having to now live with the fact that he knocked up the geo archon and they’re having dragon babies, also some bullshitted dragon biology stuff
-Said archon also happens to be Durin’s biological parent (it’s complicated and depressing), and in a roundabout way kinda sees Albedo as a son because he was nice to him once haha never mind I’ve decided Albedo is his son too (it’s explained with alchemy)

Because of course their names are Guizhong and Crepus. I am not creative and they would probably be sentimental like that

I haven't drawn these two in forever so I drew them last month. Was thinking about them.
I never drew Crepus and Guizhong interacting with Garuda, and they're both family and kinda close in age so they would realistically interact a bit. So here's that.
