Reasons why TUA S4 is not canon to me

(spoilers obviously)

You're telling me that Lila held on to her resentment for so long in her marriage without saying a word?? She would have told Diego a long long time ago about the behaviour that was bothering her.

She does make fun of him sure, but never in front of people and she definitely doesn't allow other people to make fun of him ( remember when she called Ben a shitty little squid because he was mean to her boyfriend) so honestly what was up with all those fat jokes???

I've seen other people mention this too but like despite having three children, it really seemed like they only cared about Grace, I never even knew they had twins till it was actually mentioned on screen.

The five and Lila thing was just so weird??? Like I get the whole only people on the planet thing but honestly there was zero romantic chemistry between them ever and now suddenly because they're alone, they're hooking up?? Not to mention, later five acts like he's in love with her??? Like what was that??? He was literally acting like a lovestruck teenager which he never did even when he was stuck in an actual teenage hormonal body.

Again this has been mentioned before by other fans but like five's deal has always been about protecting his family and now he's just chill with leaving them behind and starting a life with Lila?? He's always butted heads with Diego but there was never a doubt that he genuinely cared about him like he cared about all his siblings and now he's ready to fight him over a girl??? You're telling me that makes sense?

Not to mention neither of them looked particularly remorseful about what they had done. Even towards the end, none of this actually got resolved, the insane love triangle still existed, at some point it felt like Lila was never in love with her husband at all, Diego never actually said goodbye to his kids, Claire and Allison were the only ones who got some kind of closure, Klaus was on bizzare side quests the entire time, the whole plot of luther and Diego finding out the CIA boss was involved also kind of didn't really matter in the end?? Like it was some half ass attempt to make them relevant to the plot, even him deciding that he would rather spend time with his kids didn't matter because he lost them like idk three hours later? Don't even get me started on the numerous glaring plot holes in that ending because I wouldn't even know where to begin.

TUA S4 was truly character assassination at it's finest.

This is my complete rant- I just ughhh ohkay

So the ending huh I don't even know what to say. I don't know what that was. Was it just me or did someone else also presume that Viktor would be the one dying?? Why did all of them die? It seems so rushed. Just 5 minutes between Five realizing what's gonna happen and what they need to do and then just bam it's over i'm sorry what the fuck- I had so much hope and thrill and passion going into this season all doomed.

Don't even get me started on the Five and Lila thing. hey stevie when some of the people said they'd like to see a number five romantic subplot...... THIS IS NOT WHAT THE MEANT!?!? You're tryna tell me Five "survived 45 years in an apocalypse killed hundreds and thousands of people and the board of directors of a deadly commission just to get back to his family and keep them safe" Hargreeves the Five Hargreeves who had many a year and opportunity to find himself a woman after joining the commission but stayed loyal to a fucking mannequin fell in love with his brother's wife after 7 years of being stuck with her? SPECIALLY after he specially told Diego that Lila wouldn't throw all that away he fell in love with her and was heartbroken when she didn't throw that away????? What of the frenemy dynamic? What of the 'you killed my parents in cold blood' part of that equation? All gone cause of what? I see no point or use of that in the already fucked storyline? I don't even know what to say.

Luther had NO character this season. He's just a big soft bag of fluff I mean i don't hate that not at all but like... and his powers were just reduced to what... accidentally breaking an alarm clock and jumping of a stage into a crowd of women? yay i guess. And WHERE WAS SLOANE? WHAT HAPPENED TO HER?

Klaus oh my poor heart- a germaphobe. Really a germaphobe? Of all the things he could've been. When the grave scene happened where they were shooting outside and he covered his ears I got so excited like yes yes Vietnam Klaus... I mean yeah he's traumatized but I thought they'd work with that even just a little bit but no. None of that just terrified of ghosts druggie Klaus.

Allison Hargreeves - I have a vent about her already posted. And there it seems I hate her and maybe a little yeah but that means there was like a pacific load of area they could've worked with but no? none of that. She is just back to normal a little scared but that's all. "Since Ray walked out!" THAT"S ALL WE GET FROM RAYMOND CHESTNUT!? What why how when under what conditions??????????? Nothing?? Huff man. I know this is too much for one season and I know they couldn't have included everything in one season but they had such a great show. Such a brilliant show. Season 3 was a very apt ending. It was perfect to be very honest, this is just uncalled for. All the characters are so not who we as viewers were shown for 3 seasons which is why I feel it feels more like a disappointment. Yeah without their powers they'd be different, but they're just not them anymore.... Anyway I should probably sleep.

So the ending huh I don't even know what to say. I don't know what that was. Was it just me or did someone else also presume that Viktor would be the one dying?? I mean we kind of started solely based on his storyline.. he was neglected. He was the reason for the first apocalypse. It was about him, and as much as I would've hate to see him die... it kinda would've been a full circle. Also, if he was willing to take the Durango from Ben, and he is capable of pulling it out of the others, wouldn't it have been fitting if he took it from all his siblings and only he died? Look at it this way, he always just wanted to be part of the team. Just wanted to help, he would've done anything to be part of the team and that's how he goes. Finally a part of the team and then he took one for the team. Finally an Umbrella. Come on-

please someone agree with me on this

Five is physically 20 this season but we all know he's actually 60... and Lila's 30 so well.....

Klaus Hargreeves has the ability to talk to the dead right?? So what if he is dead?

Died like ages ago i know i know he can't but what if

And because his powers were talking to the dead but because now he himself is dead his powers like reversed and now despite being dead he can talk to the living

That would explain suddenly being able to channel other spirits through him you know-

Allison Hargreeves - a vent

So this is just a vent

I was re-watching the Umbrella Academy season 3 and oh my dear god

I just saw the seventh episode and I want Allison to just drop dead and never come back up

and I get all those people saying they liked her in previous seasons, I get it guys I do. I did not. always knew there was something going on something was wrong she would snap. her allgood kind to everyone didn't seem right (I mean maybe you can call it trauma that I don't believe it when someone is nice but come on when a family is that fucked up just- okay) and she got 'everything' in her life that Viktor supposedly stole from her was not hers to begin with. She manipulated things to be her way. Not to mention she raped not one but two men - Patrick and Luther(currently ignoring the FACT that Luther is her brother but okay)

and her blaming Viktor for everything I just...

small detail Mrs. Chestnut you rumored him(then her) in forgetting he even had powers and to do that you were taken to the exact room he was locked in and you didn't tell anyone anything. Fine, you're daddy's little princess and didn't tell Viktor about rumouring him but after Reginald was dead? After everything started going to shit it didn't hit you like "Whoa hold on a minute our sister(brother) also has powers maybe that would help" no? If you had just use basic common sense on MULTIPLE occasions instead of manipulating your way out of them maybe just MAYBE you wouldn't have 'lost' everything

The part where you, Five Hargreeves, know details about your siblings' lives that you couldn't have gathered from the ruins of an apocalypse

the part that tells us that some time in the Commission you dragged Herb with you to the Infinite Switchboard and learnt how to operate it and watched every footage you could find about your siblings

Every spare moment you got you went to the IS (with Herb of course) and kept tabs on your siblings so that despite being so far ahead you didn't miss out on anything

So that they are with you even though you're not with them
