I'm Omar Fathi, a father of four children, enduring extreme hardships in the Gaza war. I want to escape this torment. My four children, the eldest of whom is not older than 7 years, are suffering from severe fear. Sham, aged 6, is the oldest, and she's deeply afraid. Then there's Alina, aged 5, who can't sleep from fear. My son Kareem, 3 years old, hasn't experienced a beautiful day, as fear and death loom around him.
