a/n: AYE my first headcannons :D i came up with this idea listening to paramore lmao i just need to get it out of my system, enjoy!

when you came up to him and begged him to visit the new bar, he didn’t even think about denying you

simply because 1. your face was too cute and 2. you havenT BEEN SPENDING ENOUGH TIME WITH HIM; HE MISSES YOU >:(

so you two went together the following friday

you were vibrating in excitement already,, it was so hard not telling him but you wanted to see his raw reaction 

you two made yourselves comfortable, ordering drinks before you excused yourself

“I have to use the restroom, I’ll be right back, kags” you said, pecking his nose, which obviously made him scoff but he nodded

when the band was announced, you were still not back and he was kind of upset but also kind of worried because??

did you ditch him??

did someone kidnap you??

but he didn’t have enough time to ponder over it because the music soon started

and there you were.

sat behind the drums. 

his eyes nearly popped out of his sockets at the sight. you looked so fucking badass. 

he didn’t pay attention to the bassist or singer

his eyes were trained on you the entire time, every hit against the drums resonating through his ears

as if that wasn’t hot enough, you should’ve seen his face when you took over, playing louder than the singer and bassist, all of the attention now on you

he couldn’t help but scoff at the amount of men eye-fucking you 

after the little concert was over he immediately walked over to you

“how could you hide that masterpiece from me?!”

now for this baby, it was a bit harder to get him out of the confinement that was his four walls

after literal WEEKS of persuading him, you still couldn’t convince him LMAO 

you made kuroo drag him to the bar. 

so there he sat, waiting to be finally able to go home to get to his precious handheld console again

kenma does NOT like loud sounds or places with many people overall, so it only added to his horror as soon as your band was announced

as soon as the lights went off and the stage lighting turned on, he looked in that direction 

you were sat in the middle, behind some drums, dressed in all black attire 

his eyes widened and his jaw dropped, kuroo having to push his mouth back shut 

he watched you perform in awe

he found himself actually enjoying it, especially when it was your turn to steal the spotlight with your skills

after the performance he patiently waited for you to approach him, finally doing so after signing a few autographs

“if you told me, i would’ve agreed to come earlier..” 

tetsuro kuroo

kuroo was actually the one to ask you to go to the new bar

the universe was working in your favour lmao 

almost as soon as you arrived at the bar you excuse yourself, leaving a confused boyfriend behind 

confused boyfriend! turned into hypeman! boyfriend as soon as he saw you on the stage 

“THAT’S MY PARTNER RIGHT THERE!”

“don’t look at them like that, they’re mine!”

“MY BABY IS SO TALENTED!”

well he definitely wasn’t embarassed to show you off

seeing you up there, dancing along to the music as you played looking so, so cool, just made his heart swell and his cheers got louder

at some point he got the whole bar to cheer for you too

he couldn’t help it!! you just looked so happy when you heard the cheers!

you bet your ass he will come to every single performance from now on 

after you were done he calmly escorted you away from the piles of people wanting you to sign something for them 

“didn’t know you had it in you, baby!”

he kissed you to show everyone who you belonged to

NOTE: its a bit short because this drabble is just me dumping all of my emotions out, it’ll get kind of dark, so sorry in advance. also this is based on my situation, but if you feel the same, please feel free to message me. not proof-read

it was 2am.

you were walking to your boyfriend’s house, tears streaming down your face after yet another argument with your mother

this time it was because you never sleep during the night, opting to sleep during the day instead

if only she knew she was the reason you slept the days away.

kenma knew of your mental health

he knew how hard days could get for you and he always tried to be there as much as he could, showing his support in every possible way if it meant it made you feel better. but sometimes, you couldn’t help and shut him out.

he could never break your shell when you got that way, isolating yourself in your own room, not showing any signs of life at all, and it pained him, truly, but all he could do was wait it out until you came to him again.

he still supported you - of course. he texted you every day, reminding you to eat meals, reminding you to brush your teeth and drink water.

sometimes he even stopped by your house to make sure you were still alive - your mother usually being the one to open the door, claiming that “they’re only in bed, no chance of getting to her. being lazy - as usual.”

it irked him to no end.

you weren’t lazy. you were struggling and she was one reason for it.

she was the reason yet she had the guts to talk bad about you.

he usually just dropped off something he wanted to give you, your mother bursting into your room and giving you whatever he brought, but not leaving without starting another argument.

other days, he would (politely) shove past your mother, walking to your room and just laying with you,

no words needed to be exchanged - he already knew. 

but lately, nothing seemed to be stopping you from closing yourself off.

it came to a point where he was truly worried for your health, fearing you didn’t take care of your body as he wished you would

so when he heard the doorbell ring at 2am, he was surprised, but he immediately knew it was you

when he opened the door, only to reveal you, who had been obviously crying a lot, judging by the red and puffy eyes, his gaze softened and he immediately pulled you inside the warmth of his home, away from the dangers the outside world held.

 you immediately broke down crying when he pulled you into a warm hug

“-kenma, what do i do?...” you cried out

he sighed softly, patting the top of your head gently 

“tell me what’s on your mind, angel? only then can i try to help.” he spoke softly, guiding you towards his room, pulling you down on the bed when you arrived, once again wrapping his arms around you 

“i just.. i feel so h-hopeless? lately, i have no motivation to get out of bed because my mother strikes up a fight every time she sees me- all i want to do is sleep.. i’m awake at night, wondering where i went wrong and why i don’t deserve a loving mother too, i sleep during the day only for my mom to wake me up at 6pm to yell at me about how lazy i am-” you stopped, a sob ripping through your lungs

kenma raked his fingers through your hair, letting you know he was listening, giving you the space to speak when ready

“a-and school work’s been piling up.. i think i’m failing most of my classes, but i’m scared to check.. i do-n’t remember the last time i checked my assignments.. all i do is cry all day, i don-’t even eat anymore, i just can’t get up to eat..”

he sighed softly, hand reaching to wipe at your tears 

“y/n, i need you to listen to me carefully. i know how hard it is - and i promise you deserve a loving mother too, it breaks my heart to see you suffer because of her.. but you can’t listen to what she says. as hard as it sounds, you’re not required to keep anyone in your life, even if it’s your mother. you’re allowed to cut her off - of course, it’s a bit hard right now, considering you still live with her, but until then, i’ll need you to stay strong for me and not let yourself get teared down by her harsh words and actions, ok? you’re so much more worth than what she makes you think. as hard as it is, i’ll be here with you, supporting you through whatever stones life throws at you. you will not feel like this forever, pain is temporary, as for your school work.. i can try and help you get back on track, but grades do not define your self-worth so don’t feel like you failed, you need to prioritise your mental health over your grades. i will be here to help you get back up on your feet and i’m happy to be, i’ll teach you how to love yourself, and it’ll be a long way, but you can do it, alright? i’ll forever be here, y/n, i love you.”

he then pulled you up to him, tugging you in a gentle kiss full of love

after he pulled away, he stood up, leaving the room, only to return with a glass of water and some snacks, smiling at you

you sniffled, also smiling

“thank you so much, kenma. i love you”

he shook his head, laying down beside you again 

“think you can stay over for a few days?”

you smiled softly, shrugging “probably, just need to get my stuff.”

just like that, kenma brought back the light that was slowly diminishing in your life, and for the first time in a long time you felt hopeful.

he was worried sick.

it was unlike you to stay overtime on missions - you did your work and left, avoiding unwanted commissions from strangers

after 1 day he wasn’t too worried, maybe you got carried away

after 2 days he was already starting to worry, maybe you went somewhere more far away and are camping there?

you were supposed to go to springvale though

that’s not that far.

after 3 days he was getting physically ill from all the overthinking - he thought every single possibility of what state you may be in right now

he hopes you’re just camping somewhere

he decided he couldn’t wait anymore and decided to go out and look for you himself 

the next morning he awoke at 5am

he couldn’t sleep any longer so he got a backpack with emergency items such as a first aid kit and went on his (not so) merry way

he walked through windrise

just to make sure you weren’t there

sadly you were nowhere to be found 

he sighed and kept walking - now on the way to springvale 

he didn’t want to admit if but he was so terrified of losing you 

you were the first person able to break down his walls in years

the thought of you potentially being in great danger made him automatically increase speed

he walked through the small village

“hey, brook. have you seen y/n around?”

“master diluc? y/n? they came by few hours ago to cook some food! looked pretty... disheveled. they said they were on their way to clear some hilichurl camps.”

diluc cursed under his breath

“did you see what direction they went?”

“took off in dawn winery’ direction-” 

“ok. thanks.” he cut her off

he immediately started walking again, now getting more worried after brook described your appearance as ,,disheveled,, 

when he arrived at dawn winery there was no one outside

that was weird

there’s usually always someone out there

where is everyone????

he obviously tried to go in 

the doors were locked

that’s double-weird 

double-weird until he very clearly heard you grunt in pain in the distance, atleast

what was dangerous enough to make dawn winery shut closed without asking him first?

he didn’t have enough time to ponder over it because he was already sprinting towards the source of sounds coming from you 

his eyes widened and he faltered for a second as soon as he saw you, on the ground in the middle of three cryo abyss mages

he was, for the first time, relieved to be noticed by enemies - the three now floating towards him

he felt his anger picking up when he glanced at you, lying on the ground motionless

so, ya know what he did?

he released intense flames - knocking his opponents shields off, letting his phoenix finish them off 

he sprinted towards you, dropping to his knees and pulling you to rest your head on his lap 

“y/n, hang on for me, alright? don’t close your eyes”

his voice was shaking 

“d-diluc- i can’t-” 

was the only thing you managed to cough out, entrusting him to keep you safe, unable to keep fighting to stay awake, enduring that pain

you woke up to the sound of wood crackling beside you, residing into the warmth it radiated

curse those cryo abyss mages 

you slowly peeled your eyes open, flinching at the sight of barbara and diluc hovering above you 

where were you?

is this.. dawn winery??

what’s barbara doing here,,

you don’t know and you don’t care because you feel yourself getting engulfed by diluc’s arms 

“god, you scared me so much..”

he won’t mention that he cried in front of barbara because he was so worried

that would feed your ego a little too much 

“i’m sorry.. are they gone? i just wanted to defeat them before returning home..”

“they’re long gone..”

he sighed and pulled away from the hug, glancing at barbara who was waiting for your little moment to end before she could speak 

“how did that even happen? you can take down three abyss mages easily!”

“I had cleared three hilichurl camps already and I was weakened - those took me by surprise as I was making my way back”

“you need to be careful next time - i healed you to the best of my abilities, but damage that only time can heal has been left behind. you have a broken rib and you were shivering the entire time while you were out! we warmed you up as best as we could and you should be fine now, but i wouldn’t be surprised if you do catch a cold the next few days..”

she then paused and looked at diluc

“you need to take care of y/n until they get bett-”

“you don’t even need to tell me. i won’t leave y/n out of my sight for now.”

she nodded and stood up

“very well. then, i’ll leave back to mondstadt, i still have work to do.”

without another word she left, which made diluc’s attention go back to you 

he reached his hand out to caress your cheek

“i nearly got sick myself when you didnt return home after 3 days”

you broke out in a little giggle, stopping when your rib started immensely hurting but you then spoke

“oh diluc.. you know i usually take longer because i get carried away.. nonetheless, i’m very thankful that you came to my aid, no one else would have..”

“it makes me want to fire all my employees - they were all ju-”

you cut him off, pulling him down towards you to kiss his lips 

“i’m glad they did, i got to see you fight~”

he scoffed, a smile spreading onto his lips

“seriously? that’s what you’re happy about?”

“well you looked very hot..” you trailed off

he attacked your face with tiny kisses after-

you best believe he didn’t let you out of sight the following weeks

he mostly made you stay in bed

always bringing you tea and left to fetch medicine for you in case of need

he even waited in front of the bathroom door when you needed to use the bathroom 

he even helped you shower 

you don’t express it verbally, but you’re really thankful to have him

no one except him supports and protects you as much as he does

he could literally kill someone for you

(spoiler: he already did.)

he’s your little meanie

did i mention that taking care of you also meant lots and lots of cuddles?

he always says it’s ‘so i can warm you up’

...

you know it’s because deep down he’s still very worried about your well-being

even after you’ve returned to good condition he hesitates to let you go on commissions 

he usually accompanies you, just to make sure

you don’t mind 

going on adventures alone can get boring - so having him by your side makes it all better :)

(truth is, i actually dislike this one lol). to be honest, i got so happy at the positive feedback towards my kaeya drabble, so i’m sorry it took me a while to write another one and it came out short too :( - i was having a little struggle with some writers block lol. nonetheless i hope you enjoyed this!!
