Theres An Anti On YouTube That Goes On To Fix Nasty Proshipper Incest Art
there’s an anti on YouTube that goes on to fix “nasty proshipper incest art”
except the art is completely tame, it is about a father and his daughter doing normal family stuff, she sits on his lap, hugs him and claims that she loves him and he holds her and they’re both happy, but apparently antis see these completely normal family interactions as incest and pedophilia
Yet what really surprised me the most was that I later found out the artist they are targeting is an open homophobe and ableist
antis focused so much on their art that they completely neglected to focus on more important things regarding this artist, instead they had enough time “fixing” art and raging about apparent problems when there were none to begin with

I stopped being an anti because I was bored so I made a proship acc (not to expose people and harass them, just out of boredom /gen) and found out my #1 fav artist was a proshipper so I kept tha blog for a few more weeks just to interact with them more... 😂
and the more I came into proship spaces the more I realized how harmful anti spaces were. I was constantly stressed, and worried about getting harassed for my oc being gay due to childhood sexual trauma and many other things.
(btw me n my fav artist are friends now.)
I love asks like this. I'm so glad you got yourself out of that harmful space and even found a friendship to boot.
Honestly; a lot of people don't actually realize how harmful the more extremist/active 'anti' community is. If you're living in constant fear of doing the 'wrong thing' or constant fear that you're next, that you'll be harassed or called out or harmed, it is not safe. It is not healthy.
There's no right or wrong way to 'become' proship. There's no obligations to interact with content you don't enjoy if you do, either.
OP is also getting raked over hot coals for being a racist. I wouldn't worry about it.
I am actually begging some people to just let some spaces exist untouched by real-world issues and horrors.
Like I've lost count of the amount of times peaceful game or fandom servers have been ruined by people stampeding in with political rants, bitching about world issues, demanding internal activism, demanding vent channels so they can whine about their shitty parents, ect.
Like. Respectfully. Not every single space has to be inclusive of and welcoming of outside topics. The real world sucks. We don't needed to be reminded of that absolutely everywhere.
Hello, I know that your blog is about discourse, but I wanted to ask something about ao3: is there a way to put images there?
My blog is about many things, not strictly discourse. I'm more than happy to assist or discuss on other matters.
And as it happens, there are! There are a few ways you can insert an image into the main body;
This tutorial is one such way.
So is this one.
Then there's all the fuckery with the actual HMTL, but nobody has time for that and if you write on AO3 in the HTML mode, God is scared of you anyway.
Do you think the AI rape art of Taylor Swift is justifiable because it's art and not an action?
This is really not going to make you happy, Anon, but to be frank, its an AI image. By itself, its harmless.
The inexcusable action is deliberately attempting to expose the person concerned to it and also therein the harm. Plenty of unpalatable art is created for a myriad of reasons.
I frankly don't care if people make AI rape images of Taylor Swift. I care if they're trying to force her to see them or if they're trying to perpetrate them as real. I care if those images are deliberately being used maliciously to cause people harm.
If you think RPF is simply limited to 50 Shades-style Y/N fanfiction or thirst blogs, you are sorely mistaken. The brutal reality is that, yeah. People who enjoy rape fantasies and RPF can and do combine those two things. People with hardcore kinks can and do imagine them involving real people.
rpf of real children is bad, and ao3 openly endorses it. they fired someone for being pro-palestine but not for fic of a real minor (at the time. he had also said he was uncomfortable with RPF) being raped as a BABY by one of his deceased friends. what possible defense is there for that? just make ocs if the fantasy is what does it for you, why do you have to bring real living children into it?

There's your defence.
AO3 is an archive. I can assure you there is a vast array of the most sordid, twisted, messed up literature you could've ever imaged on there. AO3 cannot, by its own principle, pick and choose what is and is not allowed in terms of actual content.
(Hence why AO3's content policies are based more upon qualities like category, rather than content.)
Do I read sexual literature about real minors? No. But as a user and supporter of AO3 and I likewise cannot try to dictate what does and does not fall under the protection of its archival status. There is no such thing as "a little censorship."
There are many reasons why someone might write something like that. But as long as it solely remains as art and not action, it has nothing to do with me.
AO3 gives me more opportunities not to see it than literally any other website.
