If You Want A Loving Villain Couple Just Do What Everyone Else Is Doing, Ship Golden Goose.

If you want a loving villain couple just do what everyone else is doing, ship Golden Goose.
What we want: Lucifer and Lilith being completely in love with each other and have a Gomez and Morticia dynamic and his wife is the only one that he doesn't care is taller than him it likely turns him on. All hail Mommy Dommie Lilith!
What we're likely to get: They're divorce and Lilith is Stella 2.0 with Luci being another 'uwu sad man' that Viv likes so much.

Fizz's big goof

So, I've been thinking about this for a while. While Fizz obviously quit for his own well-being, he also carried himself in a way that implied he was screwing over Mammon by quitting, when that couldn't be further from the truth.
Allow me to explain.
It's been confirmed that Glitz and Glam not only did legally win, but also survived getting squished. Meaning that they're Mam's new brand figures.
I bring this up because the episode goes out of it's way to portray the twins as being so extremely shallow that they only care about winning and being famous mascots, not money, not Mam's adoration, not for the sake of mastering clowning. They're also clearly okay with sexualizing themselves (as seen when one of them flashes the crowd). In other words, all the factors that made Fizz unhappy under Mammon and eventually made him quit are absent in the Glam sisters, there's no reason to think they'd ever want to quit.
Another thing is that, with two mascots, Mammon would make twice as much money, especially from completionists and extra horny weirdos.
While it was good for Fizz, him quitting didn't actually hurt Mam at all, quite the contrary, it dropped two people perfect for what Mammon needs from someone for the position of his brand figure directly into his lap!
Sucks to be you, Imp Jerky!
I love that movie!!
As someone whose mother's dog almost tore my arm off when I was 3 and still has a fear of dogs to this day, I get really uncomfortable when people make fun of the "dogs killed her mom" thing. As if going through dog related trauma at an early age wouldn't leave you with an aversion to them.
The whole "Disney villain hates something because of trauma" meme that started with Cruella makes me kinda angry because it's one of the earliest examples of people either not understanding what actually happened, or worse, people not bothering to actually see the movie in question and just basing their thoughts on reviews they've seen.
Estella/Cruella never shows any kind of real hatred towards the Dalmatians themselves. She steals them as revenge, but they're shown to be taken care of and never actually harmed. Most she does is make a bad joke about maybe turning them into a coat, but that never actually happens.
And she never blames the dogs for her mother's death. First, she blames herself, in a similar way to how Simba blamed himself for his father's death - assuming that her mother just got caught in the crossfire, since the dogs had been chasing her daughter and she got caught in the middle. And when she learns her mother was targetted, she turns her anger towards the person who sent the dogs after her mother, not the dogs themselves.
Hey I found that creepypasta! It's The Girl in the Photograph, and I first heard of it from this video
The description from the video does it better tbh, the story's kinda meh aside from the twist
Thanks, I'll check it out.
For anyone other than Cross, this is a pasta we mentioned while messaging the other day.
What do you think of the idea of having a human working for I.M.P who knows how to use martial arts and weaponry?
Sorry for being late!!
I think it could only work for a one-off, like they're hired to kill someone who's also currently being hunted by a human hitman and they end up working together to off the target. I don't think it could work long-term though.
I think I figured out why I like Fizzarozzie more than you do, I actually do see all relationships as transactions, at least to an extent.
It's a big part of the reason I kin Mammon, granted I also consider the emotional aspect as part of the "transaction", extracting value from a fun or otherwise valuable experience with someone else (something I incorporate into my Mammon writing), but I would say Blitz and Ozzie are evenly matched in that regard, at least in Fizz's eyes as of the mid-season finale (I know you'll disagree with this, but this is my final stance on the matter).
Realistically speaking, I probably wouldn't care about Blitz if I was in Fizz's position and had Ozzie. I'm not saying my opinion is the be all end all of this discussion, but I just thought it would be useful to get this perspective out there.
That twitter post is so dumb. Saying Blitzo doesn't have anything to offer to the table that Oz doesn't? What about a personality? That's a start. He isn't perfect so Fizz would actually have some ability to be his own person and character since Blitzo isn't capable of being everything always all the time. It's a better relationship because it's more grounded as a whole and also just a better story.
“You always cared what I thought” — blitzø s2e6
“I cant help feel he values your take on things” — Asmodeus s2e7
“Well yeah I was usually the one with the stronger opinions” — blitzø s2e7
“He kept you safe when I wasn’t able to, and I trust that” — Asmodeus, s2e7
I hate that thread if it’s the one I’m thinking of. Maybe if you let characters interact for more than one episode a dynamic could be established? Notice how it’s also implying that blitz and Asmodeus are remarkably similar in their protective caring dynamic with him ? Seems like he was the blueprint
I think this show has just hardwired everyone into seeing all relationships as a transaction. Oz has a big bank account and a nice house what does blitz have? Checkmate.
Blitz offers him, and always has offered him loyalty, protection, reassurance and a feeling of safety. He lets Fizz yell and show when he’s annoyed without feeling like he has to cushion his words, he doesn’t have to say “pweeease?” And pretend to be all submissive and cute to get what he wants. People pleasers need someone who isn’t biassed by a need to benefit off of them, to give it to them straight. Ozzie doesn’t offer him that because fizz only thinks Ozzie is with him because of who he is at his best, meaning he’s been putting up a front with Asmodeus, and he feels like it’s thanks to Mammon that he got to be with him. He says he barely feels worthy.
Another thing I had to laugh at is. Fizz doesn’t like he blitz talks too much. And it shows fizz’s annoyed expression. Um. You may as well be talking about “if you keep talking about pirates I will punch you” they have a back and forth. Fizz keeps him in check. He also doesn’t like how Oz pampers him too much and makes decisions without telling him. In both episode six and seven of season two of you pay attention, Fizzarolli and Asmodeus are actually arguing almost the entire time. Because two people can disagree and that isn’t grounds for ending things.
People who knew you and loved you before you were famous are irreplaceable. It’s more than ‘nostalgia’ and ‘some solidarity in that they’re both imps or whatever’ it’s community, history, belonging, and understanding. And that last one means the most to fizz.
And you’re right it is also just a better story
