Adult. Not a safe space for TERFs, the labrys flag is not your hate symbol by the way. I use this blog for whatever I want, mostly screaming into the void and uplifting obscure queer identities. Warframe and Sonic content likely. Scary transandrophobia truther. More in pinned. 'oh, so I'm a queerphobe now because I think xenogenders and neopronouns are fake?' yes.
'I'm queerphobic because I think mspec lesbians, turigirls, and the like are invalid and appropriating the labels of lesbian, bi etc?' yes.
what you are doing is misunderstanding a queer identity, failing to enlighten yourself, and weaponizing your own ignorance against a queer person and painting them as the problem. You are writing off the existence of a queer person because you don't understand, or maybe do not even want to understand, their identity. You brush it off as fake and nonsensical. You think it's appropriating your own experience.
That is precisely what transphobes do to all trans people, what transmeds do to the 'wrong' type of trans person. That is precisely what homophobes do to all lesbians and gay men. Make no mistake, that bigotry affects you too no matter how much of a 'good' or 'correct' trans person/gay person you are. And if you are an ally espousing this kind of blatantly queerphobic rhetoric, I hope you feel ashamed. Where you claim to be in support of the LGBTQ community, you throw certain members of it under the bus because it's too much for you. You don't get to make that call; you either support all queer people in their identities, or you do not support queer people. That makes you queerphobic.

oh, these are fuckin sick!

system of a down but they're lighting studies

Don't worry the tags are fine. And thank you; I'm steadily pushing past the guilt but that may be a shaky process, especially with AMAB transfems saying such horrible shit about this kind of experience. I understand the vitriol, but that doesn't make it hurt less, ya know?
I've had moments where I relate so heavily to transfems, but have tried snuffing that part of me out because I'm "not allowed" to see myself in transfems as an AFAB transmasc. It brought doubts about my transmasc identity too, when faced with 'haha that's so me' or 'I wish' moments while looking at transfem content. Even now that I know about AFAB transfems, I still have issues with accepting that I am in some way transfem; I feel like I'm appropriating the trans woman and transfem labels, so I rarely talk about my experiences with such things on my blog. However, it's getting harder every day to lie to myself; I've picked up a habit of seeing my chest as the beginning results of estrogen whenever I feel dysphoric about having a not perfectly flat chest post top surgery (yes, I know that chests aren't supposed to be perfectly flat, and since I'm a bigger being it looks more realistic to have some fat there), and it... helps. As batshit insane as it sounds coming from somebody who would rather not go on E (again), it helps. Gender is weird and all that.
gender is weird and if tou like to see yourself like that then you should keep doing that, i know the feeling of guilt over something like this, its hard to get over but its possible :D
I used to dress in a manner that got me misgendered often. I had colored hair, did my makeup, and even wore the occasional skirt. Now I have the most boring outfit routine known to man, but at least I get gendered 'correctly' now! give me a break. At least I'm trying to expand my gender expression to be more comfortable than rigid expectations of masculinity; this shit is actively sucking all the fun out of the world for me because I am meant to break and explore gender roles, and here I am ensnared by what people expect a man presenting person to dress like.
and I don't mean to shit on masculine fashion, but it's just so bland unless you want to risk getting misgendered by exploring the world of much more visually appealing alternative subcultures. So tired of people holding transmascs to a standard of bland ass generic white guy masculinity (not that there's anything inherently wrong with the style, it's just super unappealing to me personally), because that leaves so much unexplored, so much emptiness in some of our lives. It's not empowering to everybody and I'm tired of people acting like it is, that is if they acknowledge the fact that we have to do this shit at all. It seems like most of the time people love to water down the transmasculine experience to something so easy and devoid of restrictive expectations and I'm tired of that too.
Thinking about those claims that “trans women have to spend hours getting ready to pass but trans men just have to throw on a hoodie” while reading this full chapter about how to pass as a trans guy in Lou Sullivan’s book. Much of it requires being very wealthy to get the right clothes (and wear nothing colorful and fun). Some of the other advice is to cut out sideburns, shave your peach fuzz, darken your eyebrows/use makeup to make you look older and more masc, work out to combat thin arms and “dainty” hands, keep fingernails short, and of course bind and pack properly. There’s a lot of advice about body language and acting masc. And man does it hit as someone a couple years on T that still rarely gets gendered properly even by people who know I’m trans and try their best.
same. I know personally what it's like to not have my pronouns respected, so why would I do that to somebody else?
'nobody's gonna call you frog/frogself irl lol' did you know. did you know that auxiliary(link) pronouns are a thing, and neopronoun users tend to have them? did you know that people like me will accept the usage of 'normal' pronouns in the place of our heavily preferred neopronouns, because we know how much hassle it can be to get people to use them? did you know that we also fucking exist in the real world, or have you convinced yourself that neopronouns are simply an online fad only seen in online spaces?
