At this point I’m just going to do a whole set of the Ace Attorney characters over these funky color line backgrounds, anyway here’s everyone’s favorite German team rocket siblings.
A personal headcanon of mine is that phoenix rubs and pats people’s heads when he trusts them or feels close to them, maya, pearl, trucy, and athena love when he does it, because trucy knows he only does that because he’s close to her and athena can feel how happy he is when gets to do it, maya likes to do it to him in return, and pearl just loves pats in general and it’s a bonus if mr.nick is the one doing them,oh and trucy gets that habit from him too.
Apollo complains whenever pheonix pats/rubs his head because it ruins his hair but he secretly likes it.
Phoenix does it to miles at times but not before he asks if it’s alright cuz imo miles isn’t a fan of physical touches especially unprompted.
And Phoenix gets happier when someone does it to him.
I wasn’t liking how it was turning out, so I’m leaving at as a W.I.P. I might go back and fix it in the future but for now I’m leaving it as it is.

Currently playing justice for all and I find it foul that maya is unaware of what’s “happened” to Edgeworth.
I already know the situation because of spoilers-
We all agree that Gumshoe doesn’t figure it out until their wedding, right?

Just finished playing justice for all with my friend, honestly-
The bits of dialogue between Edgeworth and Phoenix after the trial was killing me.
For all the years we lost I like to believe that Phoenix and Edgeworth did things like this because Edgeworth never got the chance to, and to do things that they would’ve done had Edgeworth not moved away.
Still figuring out phoenix’s hair-
About to start working on some Edgeworth art, went on to Spotify and…
They know what they’re doing to say the least.
Baby Phoenix and Edgeworth, but make it angsty.
I like to believe that Edgeworth would always be info dumping, like he never seemed to shut up. So when he moved away (hence that first spring) Phoenix felt as if everything was way too quiet. Despite having Larry, he felt lonely.

(At the start of the main storyline for the AU, Edgeworth is 21 and Franziska is 14)

Franziska stood in-front of the portrait, bringing her hand up to it. She traced along the ridges and bumps in the paint with her finger, before stepping back. It was a portrait of her father, Manfred Von Karma, standing tall with a certain air of confidence and power surrounding him. Biting her tongue, she looked down at the ground blinking back a few tears. Stop it, she thought to herself, A Von Karma is strong, A Von Karma is better than this. She shook her head slightly as she raised it once more, a new look of determination set on her face. There was a blazing fire in her eyes, one that wouldn’t be easily put out. A creak filled the silence, followed by a recognisable, booming voice, “You may lea-“
Slam!
Franziska practically jumped out of her skin. Quickly, she snapped her head round in the right direction to see what had happened and who it was. Her eyes narrowed almost immediately when she saw the man.
“Oh.” Franziska sighed, sounding disappointed. It was only Miles, her technical older brother. Much like her, he had a scowl painted across his face. Alongside his unpleasant expression, his left cheek had a red mark on it - which didn’t go well with his clothes. Franziska didn’t even need to ask to know what had happened.
“Good morning, Franziska.” Edgeworth spoke in a cold tone, not even looking at her whilst he rushed past.
“Good morning, Miles.” Franziska voice was laced in irritation. As if prompted to by this interaction, she quickly turned the opposite direction and began walking down the hallway.
I don’t care whether it’s seen as platonic or romantic, as either way Wrightworth makes me sick (in a good way).
Like- You’re telling me that Phoenix Wright decided to study law so Miles Edgeworth would be forced to see him again. Purely so he could try and figure out why he had changed so much during the past 15 years.
You’re telling me that Edgeworth flew in a private jet, from a completely different continent, when he was told that Phoenix’s life was in danger. No matter how their relationship is perceived, you can’t tell me that it’s not a strong/special bond. In the end, they always seem to make their way back to each other; and when they do, they almost instantly fall back into old routines. Sure, they do argue quite a bit, however they do always make up afterwards. In my opinion, them arguing just makes it better. It makes it seem more genuine/human.
Anyways, time to spend my time not sleeping and overthinking their dynamics and crap
Like I said, I started thinking of no dl-6 au and went completely feral. To start off with, Edgeworth would be a defence attorney, and would’ve been mentored by his father. Which means that Phoenix would’ve never pursued a career as a defence attorney, meaning he would’ve continued doing art. (Also no dl-6 means Phoenix, Edgeworth and Larry would’ve been friends throughout all of school so possibly closer bonds)
With saying that…..
What Phoenix does for art is never stated, so he’s a painter now. It really is going to be a well-known defence attorney x some painter
