A personal headcanon of mine is that phoenix rubs and pats people’s heads when he trusts them or feels close to them, maya, pearl, trucy, and athena love when he does it, because trucy knows he only does that because he’s close to her and athena can feel how happy he is when gets to do it, maya likes to do it to him in return, and pearl just loves pats in general and it’s a bonus if mr.nick is the one doing them,oh and trucy gets that habit from him too.
Apollo complains whenever pheonix pats/rubs his head because it ruins his hair but he secretly likes it.
Phoenix does it to miles at times but not before he asks if it’s alright cuz imo miles isn’t a fan of physical touches especially unprompted.
And Phoenix gets happier when someone does it to him.
*drops spam of SoJ phoenix and leaves*
Sounds like the winds of change are beginning to stir…

Even though we knew Pees’lubn was the murderer from the start, he was fun while he was still singing folk songs. I actually liked him less when he begun to break down,, like bring back your chill vibes please and maybe don’t pin a murder on a 9yo next time

Ace attorney brain rot is too fucking real. I was listening to “waving at you” by the mountain goats and there’s a lyric like “you can tell your lawyer that he can go to hell” and I was like “lawyers??? omg like ace attorney!!! :0” Suddenly lawyers aren’t an actual real common thing anymore, it was a concept invented solely for that game that became ingrained in our society today. I take no offense, little one. You have great access to resources, but yet lack the experience to know how you are perceived. Were one of your elders to attempt a bribe on that scale, it would be another story.
You have much to learn little one, the very eyes of your people are on you, and that kind of pressure is much to lay on such small shoulders. Look to your elders, but know they are fallible, and one day their advice will fail, as you have already seen.
It is normal to be intimidated by such pressure. Grown men and women have been known to crumple under the weight. You have been trained for it from birth, but it is true that heavy is the head that wears the crown.
As for my personal taste in hair, I am surprised you do not appreciate the Judges locks. I had thought you had more taste in that, especially as it is not dissimilar to your own. I suppose there truly is no accounting for taste.

How is Bucky these days? Any luck getting him on the wagon?
Not a bit, man may as well have been born with a pint in his fist.
Despite that, he is not poorly. The incident with Geiru shook him, but life continues. He and the Toneidos have been leaning on each other a bit. I remain impressed by his ability to run his restaurant while being so far gone. The fact he can successfully deliver orders on a skateboard without dropping them is nothing short of a miracle.
Would that he were sober, perhaps he'd not be such a foozler then.
Ah well. He is healthy, that is enough.

✭ Athena Cykes ✭
(another sketch and spoilers for case 6-4 below)
Today I felt like drawing Athena because I really like her colour palette and, have grown to enjoy her character more. Plus I have wanted to do a minor re-design of her outfit for a while as there were small things I wanted to change. Main one being her jacket cuz, why tf do we have a gold button on yellow!? Maybe I'm just too obsessed with having contrasting colours in art, but given the jacket already has blue accents, why not add more? Also made her boots taller (not the biggest fan of her boots but I didn't want to change too much cuz they suit her cuz they look like moon boots imo) and gave her black bike shorts instead of the black tights cuz, the black tights just looked weird to me :/ so it was purely a personal preference thing :P
I enjoyed drawing this a lot and kinda want to do more pages like this of AA characters, but no promises! If I do more characters I'll probably start with more Wright anything agency members and branch out from there if I still feel motivated to :3
Yesterday I did the sketch above because I was in the mood to draw comics but, only did this cuz drawing comics traditionally is a lot harder than digitally (and I've yet to get my drawing tablet out of storage) so I did something simple to scratch that itch. It's of course based off that moment in case 6-4 when Simon fucken jump scares the player and shakes Athena!?
Truly iconic moment, than again Simon is so iconic for the whole case, that man is now my favourite co-counsel which I kinda feel bad about cuz all the "weird girls" are super iconic characters and I like their characters overall more than Simon (yes all of them) but, if we're talking just as a co-counsel, he's my favourite. His dialogue alone made 6-4 go from meh to good for me.
