so funny how for a brief time we managed to get perfect alignment for extensions between browsers, webextensions from chrome to firefox to safari, and then google decided "nope, we're going to enforce some new rules now, time to choose us as your only platform or put in extra work" and now you can't even publish the same extension on every chromium fork.

reminder that it's in your best interest to stop using Chrome before January 2023, or you're going to lose extension data.

i love your opinons on voltron, they make me feel so seen. and 100% agree that lance would have been a terrible black paladin, i really do wish he had a better character arc than reducing him to a pretty boy who gets what he wants guy. i could rant about that forever.

anyways, I found that Voltron really struggled with giving proper screen time to characters like hunk. and i just wanted to know your opinion on hunk becoming a chef after the war ended. i thought it was a big disservice to his character.

Okay. I have ranted a lot about Lance, so I will focus on the latter half.

I. Hate. It.

The writers really just forgot about him right intil the last second, didn't they? Hunk has a passion for cooking and baking, that's obvious, but he also has a talent for engineering. You know, his entire school career?

Also, out of everyone, Hunk is the one who misses Earth the most. So why would he leave Earth to make an inter-dimensional buffet? Simple - he wouldn't! Not for that reason.

What I can see Hunk doing in the epilogue: getting married to or starting a family with Shay. Hunk is a massive family guy (and not the Peter Griffin type, thank lord). If he was going to leave Earth for anything, it would be to live with Shay on the Balmera if she wasn't able to live properly on Earth.

Just. Seeing DreamWorks reduce Hunk to a chef? The comedic part of his character that was never really taken seriously? It hurt a lot because I love Hunk. He's funny and kind and smart and-- and they tried to kill him off and ended up making him a chef.

Welp, the counselors did indeed get their way. I have to keep scheduling their follow up appointments. And my boss doesn't care that I'm just this side of a breakdown. His solution is to have the old front desk receptionist take back over but that would just add stress to me because she's screwing up with the new system every time she tries to do something. There's no way she could handle it being at front desk now. So then I'd be trying to do her job and mine. No thank you. I give up. I'm going to give this until my supervisor gets back and has a chance to talk with him, but if he still insists that front desk handle follow up, I'm finding a new job. This was the last straw. I've barely had a chance to touch my data entry work so I've got about two weeks of it piling up (I hate having work piled up). I've got counselors demanding I schedule this thing and that, arguing that they don't have a client at such and such a time because they haven't checked the new scheduler (which they're supposed to be using now), they need this file and they need me to find this thing for them, mail that thing there, get referrals and authorization for this person because it didn't come over and why wasn't I making sure we already had it, find time for them to meet with other counselors in the office every week at the same time... Like I need to have a task that takes longer now still on my plate. I'm so stressed that its affecting my ability to sleep (I have not slept through the night in nearly a week) and I don't even want to eat (not doing good things for my blood sugar, but eating makes me want to puke). I've been skipping or taking shorter lunches so I can hopefully catch a few minutes to get something accomplished that I've had to ignore in favor of all this extra shit (and also because I don't have someone to cover for me) but it hasn't made a difference.

You blocked the view of someone who paid a lot of money to get there and experience the awesome experience of live music by a musician that they love by sticking your piece of shit camera in their fucking view and then you were incredibly perplexed, annoyed or you laughed at them for getting rightfully fucking angry because you are an asshole who ruined their experience by failing to realise that the other people there were just as deserving of an amazing time as you. In fact, you probably justified your actions by some pathetic and weak ass excuse.
